ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 9, 2023
Our first meeting was at a nightclub, and it was something straight out of my most romantic fantasies.
My ovaries exploded at the sight of the Russian God. And by God, I mean he was ripped, tall, dark, and deadly attractive. There were enough sparks between us to light up a city. Then an explosion blasted through the nightclub, and we got trapped together for three hours, sharing our most personal details… everything but our names.
Two years later, our second meeting is the complete opposite of the first. It’s clear Misha Petrov, a Russian enforcer for the bratva, despises me. The emotional night we shared meant nothing to him.
You see, my family is sworn enemies with the bratva and Italian mafia, which means Misha considers me a threat.I wish I could hate him the way he hates me. But nooo, my stupid heart wants what it wants.Every rough touch from Misha makes my skin tingle.Every low-rumbling threat growled through his clenched teeth has my breath speeding up.We might be sworn enemies, but I can’t stop myself from wanting this dangerous man.
Then there’s the other problem.
If I can, by some miracle, get Misha to fall in love with me, we’ll only have to face the entire Bratva and my family.
What could possibly go wrong?

REVIEW:Destroy Me is the first book in the Corrupted Royals series by Michelle Heard.
Aurora D’Angelo is eighteen years old. Her and her best friend Abbie Sartori are on “vacation” in Geneva, after spending time in an all girls school in Austria.
And by vacation they are supposed to be locked away at Abbie’s summer home. But they decide to sneak out and go to a local night club.
Being Mafia Princesses has it benefits.
While at the club, Aurora meets who she believes is the man of her dreams. Her
Misha Petrov…
Misha is twenty-two and at the club blowing off steam with his two friends, Alek and Armani. All three of them are enforcers for the Bratva.
They are in Geneva about to attend four years of training at St. Monarchs School. From the moment Misha enters the club he sees her.
He has no idea who she is and wants nothing more than to get to know her. His body all but demands it.
Just as they are getting to know one another, and Aurora about to receive her first kiss ever, a bomb explodes around them. The nightclub comes crashing down. .
While Misha did everything in his power to protect Aurora as the building crashed down around them, she was inevitably hurt.
While trapped beneath the rubble in a tight space, Misha does everything he can to keep Aurora alive.
it wasn’t until they were rescued that he was told the bomb was meant for him and his friends and that Aurora is the daughter of their sworn nemesis.
Misha does everything in his power to block Aurora from his mind, since she is his enemy. But Aurora is left lost without ever seeing her dark prince again or even knowing his name.
That is at least for two years.
After being in seclusion for two years, due to the threat of retaliation for the bomb that was meant for Misha and his friends.
Aurora and Abbie, now twenty-one, are sent to St. Monarchs school for training on how to protect themselves, since they are after all Mafia Princesses.
St. Monarchs is a neutral space where all types of underground sorts come and train together. No killing is allowed at St. Monarchs and
Aurora and Abbie think they are going to have an easy time of their stay there since they are after all Princesses.
But they soon find out things couldn’t be farther from the truth. Aurora sees Misha on the grounds of St. Monarchs, and while she is overwhelmed with emotions seeing the man that has occupied her every thought for the last two years. Misha doesn’t seem to feel quite the same.
When they first encounter each other – Misha makes it very clear that he is sad to see she survived the bombing. And will not make the same mistake of letting her live again if given the opportunity. Aurora finally learns his name – Misha Petrov and he is bratva – her families sworn enemies.
Life at St. Monarchs just took an interesting turn. Aurora feels whiplash from the mixed signals she is getting from Misha.
One moment he has the look of death in his eyes when he looks at her and the next he is watching her longingly.
They both know that in their worlds, they can never be together,
But the attraction and connection they feel for one another is something neither of them bargained for.
In a wild ride of attraction and seduction this book takes you exactly where you are forbidden to go.
And I am there for it every step of the way.
The characters are young and fresh and bring a new perspective to Michelle Heards Mafia romance.
I love how the characters intersect with previous book characters and how the world just continues to build around me.
There is a darker depth to the bratva characters that make you want to get to know each of them more – and while you should hate them – you just can’t. And I can’t wait to see where this book world takes them.
There are quite a few trigger warnings on this book, and I recommend definitely not overlooking them before you start.
With that being said I have a feeling this new series will be as amazingly written and wonderful as all the past ones.
I never imagined I would find myself in love with Mafia romance books – just not my genre or in my wheel house. But I am here for it and I love every page of it.
Highly recommend.
