ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 5, 2024
She’s a fighter, but I’m a criminal who will do whatever it takes to steal her heart.
Gemma
I rose from the ashes of my childhood like a phoenix, and never looked back.
The last thing I need is the cocky bad boy of the Monaghan family barging in and turning my carefully constructed life into chaos.
He’s everything I shouldn’t want, nothing I was prepared for, and the only thing I crave.
But his world is dangerous, and that’s a complication I left in my rear-view years ago.
I’m determined to keep him out of my heart, even if I can’t seem to keep him out of my bed.
But when the last person I ever expected to meet comes knocking on my door, Eoghan Monaghan is the only one with the power to free me from the dangerous ghost who threatens to burn down my new life.
Eoghan
The last thing I need is this inconvenient obsession with the tough as nails enchantress who also happens to be my new sister-in-law’s best friend.
But here we are.
She wants to believe we would be a catastrophic mistake, yet every time her piercing gaze turns in my direction, the sultry fire in her eyes tells me she wants this as much as I do.
Only something is holding her back.
Good thing I’m determined to break down the walls she’s meticulously erected around herself, even if she fights me tooth and nail every step of the way.
When a treacherous enemy of my family forces himself into her life, the only chance any of us have for survival is for my beautifully obstinate woman to finally let her guard down and do the one thing she swore she never would…
Trust me.

REVIEW:It’s Mafia Time Baby!! Eoghan is the next installment of the Boston Syndicate series, and oh what a charmer he is. As always, it is recommended to read the books in series in order to get the most out of the book, but it can be read as a standalone should one choose too. Check your trigger warnings friends; while Eoghan isn’t a dark romance, it does have some violence as its mafia based.
This tasty morsel focuses on Gemma and Eoghan’s story. We get introduced to them in previous books, but get their full, drama-filled, spicy story in this book. The couple meet through a mutual friend (Alessia), and Eoghan is Gemma-hooked from the start, but is shocked when she doesn’t fall at his feet. Eoghan is known to charm women right out of their panties, but not our girl Gemma. Gemma makes him work for her, she’s been hurt in the past and isn’t too sure about getting into a relationship with the ladies man, no matter how attractive he is.
Eoghan gives chase to Gemma and during their “courtship” if you will, Gemma learns just how protective and obsessive he can be. Not to mention the best kind of morally gray, I mean come on, he’s in the freaking mafia. The chase between these two makes up the majority of the story, the plot is quick and easy to keep up with while engaging the reader with anticipation. As always with our lovely author, the spice is just “chefs kiss” perfect, the build up to the spicy bits with the characters is made even better by their chase, and by the end, I’m left asking for more and more.
