The relationship between Sabrina and Sawyer begins tempestuously due to Sawyer’s belief he is unworthy of love. The world building follows the tempestuous relationship between our story line couple. Jane struggles with her attraction to a man she believes could break her heart but having experienced the fall-out of rejection and betrayal, Jane battles between head and heart in the face of repeating the past. Jasper Jannich knows something about rejection having faced it at a very young age but when the past reappears for both Jane and Jasper, they struggle to see through the veil of possible deceit and betrayal.

The relationship between Jasper and Jane is a frenemies to lovers in which Jane struggles to set up Jasper with suitable women, knowing the potential for heart break for herself. Having fallen for Jane, Jasper’s heart isn’t willing to put up with Jane’s matchmaking services but when Jane pushes Jasper out of her life, he suspects there is something more going on. The $ex scenes are provocative and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Graham and Emma (My Darling Bride 1), as well as Jasper’s extended family, and several mismatches found by Jane herself.

MY DARLING JANE is a story of desperation and determination, family and friendships, acceptance and love. The premise is honest yet familiar; the romance is spirited; the characters are sassy, animated and dynamic.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Flick and Sebastian) WE CAN STAY follows the building romance and relationship between our story line couple. A walk in the rain, a lost kitten and a visit to the local vet finds Felicity ‘Flick’ Patel face to face with her future in the guise of Dr. Sebastian Blum, the local veterinarian but Flick struggles with a chronic illness, and she battles between head and heart with the amount of information she reveals to the people in her life. As a member of the Chronic Pain Crafters Club, Flick feels a kinship with the women in the group but she often needs and wants her privacy without having anyone else interfere.

The world building follows the building romance and relationship between our story line couple, as well as Sebastian’s need to do it all. Both Flick and Sebastian are overextended and exhausted, resulting in shortened tempers, and a loss of faith in their growing relationship. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include several veterinarian clients of Pine Island, as well as CPCC members Hannah, Maya and Alexis; and Sebastian’s brother Ben who struggles with his brother’s constant need to work.

WE CAN STAY is a story of chronic illness, secrets and lies, family and friendships, relationships and love. The premise is captivating-once again, most of the conflict is personal; the romance is seductive and passionate ; the characters are determined but Flick’s attitude was a bit off-putting. Also, I am not a fan of the nickname ‘Flick’ -just feels out of place.

Rita Savage is struggling in the wake of her writing partner’s abrupt departure and betrayal. Leaving New York for some R&R in Crescent Cove, Rita will come face to face with graphic novel writer and hometown boy Penn Masterson, the man with whom Rita will fall in love. Penn is hoping to start his own independent publishing house, and when an opportunity present, Penn is determined to bring Rita along for the ride. Rita is determined to take control of her career but Crescent Cove’s reputation is about to hit our couple when they least expect it.

The world building follows Rita’s need to move forward on her own. Betrayal from her previous co-author continues to hit Rita as the weeks go buy but Independence means working alone, something with Rita is all too familiar. Penn Masterson comes from a large close knit family, and Crescent Cove is about to welcome home our hero, and the woman with whom he is falling in love.

The relationship between Rita and Penn begins acrimoniously when Penn makes a derogatory comment about Rita’s chosen profession. Struggling to move on from another perceived betrayal, Rita finds herself falling for a man who may or may not be staying for long. The $ex scenes are impassioned and provocative.

The secondary and supporting characters include Penn’s business partner Larsen McCade, businessman Asher Waniwright, as well as several hometown regulars including Penn’s brother Travis and his ex Bridget.

DRIVEN DADDY is a story of heart break and betrayal, family and relationships, friendships, and love. The premise is inviting and realistic; the characters are sassy, animated and honest; the romance is edgy and tender.
