The last thing she wants to do is rip open old wounds. Especially Trade’s, the single father she’s been spending time with. It isn’t long before she’s falling not just for him, but for the kids he’s trying so hard to protect.

But the little voice in Nadia’s head tells her that something isn’t right, and she’s determined to find the truth. Using her connections to the Knights of Fury MC and the Fast & Fury motorcycle garage to gather evidence, Nadia uncovers evidence of a conspiracy that will leave everyone shaken—and force her and Trade to do whatever it takes to keep their new family safe

REVIEW:CUSTOM LOVE is the third and final instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult FAST AND FURY romance series focusing on the men and women who work for Fast and Fury Custom Cycles. This is single father Trade, and private investigator Nadia’s story line. CUSTOM LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary. The FAST AND FURY series is a spin off from the author’s KNIGHTS OF FURY MC series.

Told from first person perspective (Nadia) with a final chapter from Trade,CUSTOM LOVE follows Nadia’s private investigation into the murder of Trade’s girlfriend. One year earlier, Trade lost the love of his life, leaving him a single father to four children. A local man was arrested, charged and found guilty of the murder but fast forward to present day wherein Nadia, a private investigator, is asked to reopen the case in the belief that the man in jail is taking a fall for someone else. The problem, Nadia is friends with the dead woman’s sister, boyfriends and extended family at the Knights of Fury MC, and unwilling to betrayal their love or their trust, Nadia reveals her investigation, only to be shunned by the man with whom she will fall in love.Enter former MC member, single father Trade. What ensues is the building but struggling romance and relationship between Trade and Nadia, and the potential fall-out when Nadia’s investigation begins to take a personal turn with everyone involved.

Trade has struggled in the year since the murder of his girlfriend. As a single father, Trade has had the help and assistance of family and friends but our hero has never thought about moving on until Nadia drops into his life. Battling between head and heart when Nadia reveals the direction of her investigation, Trade must chose between the past and the present, hoping to avoid a lonely future alone. Nadia knew taking the case would open up a proverbial ‘can of worms’ but never thought she would lose her friendship with Trade. Recusing herself, Nadia would struggle with the information she knows, pulled back in when the FBI and police begin another investigation of their own.

The relationship between Nadia and Trade is slow to build as Trade struggles to move on from the past. Nadia is reluctant to fall for a man who is unable to let go of what was especially when she may always be second choice, now and in the future. Trade never thought he would find someone else to love, and guilt begins to override his need for our heroine. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several from the Knights of Fury MC. We are introduced to Trade’s children, their aunt Izzy, and Detective Decker.

CUSTOM LOVE is a story of family, friendships, relationships and love; a story of betrayal and vengeance; second chances and the future. The premise is engaging and entertaining but not quite as edgy as the previous instalments- I expected a little more drama and conflict when it came to the resolution; the romance is sweet and gentle; the characters are energetic and enterprising.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date March 30, 2021

Cameron Davies has the job she’s always wanted—designing custom motorcycles at Fast & Fury. No way is she going to screw this up. But when her wild, sexy one-night stand ends up being the shop’s new VIP client, her life is suddenly turned on its head.

Orion Stenton radiates power, danger and, most of all, sex. His lavish lifestyle is fraught with dangers for Cam—and a far too intimate link to her past. She has to keep things professional, but it’s impossible to forget the feel of him or the way he whispers her name.

The connection between them demands far more than a quick fling. But when Cam’s past puts Orion in danger, she must face her demons if she’s going to save them both.

REVIEW: CUSTOM MADE is the second instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult FAST AND FURY romance series focusing on the men and women who work for Fast and Fury Custom Cycles. This is businessman Orion Stenton, and artist/mechanic Cameron Davies’ story line. CUSTOM MADE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. FAST AND FURY is a spin off form the author’s Knights of Fury MC series. Many of the characters play secondary and supporting roles.

Told from first person perspective (Cameron) CUSTOM MADE follows the building romance and relationship between artist/mechanic Cameron Davies, and businessman Orion Stenton. Cameron Davies served her time, and in the ensuing three years made a name for herself as the creative designer at Fast and Fury. A night on the town with the wives of the Knights of Fury MC, and a one night stand found our heroine facing down her future, a man with a questionable reputation but a man whose custom order forces Cameron to face down her past. Enter businessman Orion Stenon, and the man with whom Cameron will fall in love. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Cameron and Orion, and the potential fall-out as Cameron’s past demands everything and more.

Orion Stenton is a man of questionable means but a man who has quickly fallen for our story line heroine. Cameron Davies has been burned in the past, having landed her a stint in prison, along with issues of trust regarding secrets and lies. As their relationship begins to build, Cameron’s past resurfaces, and promises to make trouble for our story line heroine.

The relationship between Cameron and Orion begins as a one-night stand that quickly turns into something more. Orion is a VIP client at Fast and Fury, and Cameron had no idea that she was about to work for the man with whom she will fall in love but Cameron struggles with issues of trust and Orion is about to put her trust to the test. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.

We are reintroduced to several members of the Knight of Fury MC: Temper and Abbie, Skylar and Saint, Renny and Izzy; PI Billie; Orion’s sisters Isla, Luna and Asta, as well as their mother Maria; Orion’s cousins Teddy and Bjorn; MC members Dee and Chains; and new prospects Diesel, Atlas and Aries.

CUSTOM MADE is a story of family, friendships, betrayal and vengeance; a story of love, acceptance, forgiveness and happily ever after. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are colorful, animated and inspiring.

I don’t want to sound like a broken record but I wish the author told the story in dual first person perspectives or third person. We are completely unaware of Orion’s side of the story, his business, and his questionable actions that are a bit of concern for the local MC. The world building would be so much richer with dual points of view.

Her whole life, Bronte has known that the only person she can truly count on to save the day is herself. But when a single murder turns into a conspiracy and the threat to her life is more than she can handle alone, it’s Crow who comes through—and her newfound family might just become her greatest strength.

REVIEW: CUSTOM BUILT is the first instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult FAST AND FURY erotic, romance series-a spin off from the author’s KNIGHTS OF FURY MC series. This is twenty-four year old, PA Bronte Pierce, and mechanic/Knights of Fury MC member Xeno Crow’s story line. CUSTOM BUILT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading TEMPER (Knights of Fury 3) for back story and cohesion.

Told from first person perspective (Bronte) CUSTOM BUILT follows the building relationship between twenty-four year old, PA Bronte Pierce, and mechanic/Knights of Fury MC member Xeno Crow. Bronte Pierce was let go from a job she loved as the assistant to a private investigator. With no other job prospects in sight, she reluctantly tells her father and uncle about her struggles when her uncle comes through with a new source of employment. Enter mechanic/Knights of Fury MC member Xeno Crow, the manager of Fast and Fury Custom Motorcycles. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Crow and Bronte, and the potential fall-out as the sins of the father demand payment in full.

Bronte Pierce is the only daughter of Freddy Pierce, and as such is the apple of her father’s eye but family secrets run dangerous and deep, and Freddy is about to pay the price for sins of the past. Caught up in the mayhem, Bronte calls in her former boss to start an investigation into the who, how and why, only to discover that her father and uncle’s secrets run much deeper than she could have ever imagined.

The relationship between Bronte and Crow begins acrimoniously as Crow appears to take an immediate disliking to our story line heroine but a night out with friends finds Bronte on the dance floor with Xeno Crow, and all bets are off for the foreseeable future. Crow had struggled to keep his distance from our story line heroine but the heart wanted something more than a working relationship. The $ex scenes are passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to several members of the Knight of Fury MC: Temper and Abbie, Skylar and Saint, Renny and Izzy; mechanic and custom motorcycle designer Cameron, as well as Bronte’s father Freddy, and her uncle Neville; Bronte’s friend Billie; her former boss and PI Nadia, Crow’s sister Heidi; Jean and her daughter Anne.

CUSTOM BUILT is a story of family, secrets and sooooo many lies. Bronte Pierce was hit with the reality that everything about her life and the family she knew and loved was predicated upon a lie, and as such she was pulled into the fall-out of her father’s hidden life. The romance is seductive; the characters are colorful; the premise is intriguing but there was something missing. I felt disconnected from the characters; there was no palpable energy even though so many murders, deaths and threats to our story line heroine- it was like everyone was just going through the motions, like a bad B-movie.

As stated in a previous review for the author, I wish the story line was told in dual perspective as we are oblivious to Crow’s whereabouts on many occasions, and the behind the scenes happenings. Our hero would appear and disappear without explanation or reason, and in this I felt there could have been so much more detail to add the world building and the series.
