This is Connor ‘Bozo’ O’Malley, and Dr. Grainne Fallon’s story line.BOZO can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. For fans of Brooke Summers, there is an ongoing cross-over with the author’s characters from MADE and the HOULIHAN MEN OF DUBLIN Irish Mafia series.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Connor and Grainne) covering several years in the life of our story line couple, BOZO follows the friends to lovers relationship between Connor and Grainne, two broken souls whose earlier years were dark and abusive. Struggling to protect the woman he loved, Connor brought Grainne to Irish Mafia boss Jerry Houlihan wherein Jerry promised Connor to protect our story as one of his own. Years pass, Grainne is now a doctor,and Connor is a member of the Fury Vipers MC but their relationship is strained, and Grainne is about to become a target of some powerful men, and all is not as it appears to be.

The world building follows numerous interconnected paths, covering several years in the life of our story line couple. Connor O’Malley aka Bozo, is a genius who has been used by all of the people in his life; Grainne is a woman whose entire life has become the focus of men willing to hurt and abuse our story line heroine.

The relationship between Connor and Grainne is a friends to lovers relationship in the wake of Connor’s need to protect his childhood friend. Years spend coming in and out of one another’s life finds our couple struggling to reconnect in the face of fear, past betrayals and the unknown. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Grainne’s foster father Jerry Houlihan, a group known as The Revenant, The Puppet Master, Romanian crime lord Dragomir Popescu; Grainne’s co-worker and fellow doctor Mike Hammond, as well as several members of the Fury Vipers MC: Dublin Chapter-Preacher, Raptor, Cowboy, Pyro: Jerry Houlihan, and Denis Gallagher. The requisite has many faces.

BOZO is a story of dysfunctional family dynamics and abuse; power and control, betrayal and vengeance, relationships, forgiveness and love.The premise is dramatic and dark; the romance is fated and provocative; the characters are broken but determined and desperate.

A weekend spend together ended when Mallory had to return home but in the ensuing time, Raptor heard little to no communication from the woman he could not forget. When the MC decided to open up a chapter in Dublin, Ireland, Raptor was one for the first to volunteer in the hopes of locating the woman who stole his heart but months will pass, without any communication, until the day Mallory arrived at the clubhouse beaten and bruised, a woman with a secret she had yet to reveal.What ensues is the rebuilding relationship between Raptor and Mallory, as the MC circles the wagons to protect the woman with whom Raptor had fallen in love.

The world building follows several paths as it crosses over with several of the previous story lines. Mallory’s mother goes missing; a close friend finds herself on the receiving end of ongoing abuse, and Raptor and the MC go on the hunt for the person who attacked the woman he loved.

The relationship between Mallory and Raptor begins approximately eighteen months earlier, a weekend together, ending with little to no further communication. As Mallory’s life begins to change and spiral out of control, Raptor cannot stop thinking about the woman that had stolen his heart. The $ex scenes are passionate and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of family and colorful secondary and supporting characters from the original Fury Vipers MC, and the author’s MADE series.

REVIEW: PREACHER is the first instalment in Brooke Summers’ contemporary, adult FURY VIPERS MC: DUBLIN erotic, MC, romance series-a spin off from the author’s FURY VIPERS MC. This is twenty-nine year old Kane ‘Preacher’, and eighteen year old Ailbhe Manghan’s story line. Some of the events of PREACHER run parallel to, and cross over with some of the events of REAPER (Fury Vipers MC 8).

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including graphic violence, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers. If you have not read REAPER, there may be spoilers in my review.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Preacher and Ailbhe) using present day and memories from the past, PREACHER follows in the wake of devastating news for our story line hero. Leaving everyone and everything behind in America, Preacher escaped to the Dublin Chapter of the Fury Vipers MC where he struggled to make sense of everything he lost. Meeting Ailbhe Manghan did nothing for Preacher but an unexpected pregnancy pushed Ailbhe out of his life. Knowing he screwed up, yet again, Preacher went back to America, only to realize the person he left behind is the woman he loves. What ensues is the building but tempestuous relationship between Ailbhe and Preacher, and the potential fall-out when our heroine is targeted for payment of a debt.

The world building focuses on Preacher’s past-the abuse and neglect, and the ultimate betrayal of a mother and father. We are up close and personal with the nightmare that has become Ailbhe’s life, and in this, our heroine finds a source of income ‘dancing’ for the Fury Vipers MC Dublin when she is forced to pay someone else’s debt.

The relationship between Preacher and Ailbhe is contemptuous at best. Preacher wants nothing to do with a permanent relationship, preferring to find his solace at the bottom of a bottle. Ailbhe quickly discovers that falling for Preacher means going it alone, especially as the father of her child prefers to run, and push away the people he loves the most. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative.

The secondary and supporting characters are interesting yet questionable on many levels including several of the original Fury Vipers MC in New York, as well as the introduction of the Fury Vipers MC: Dublin. We are introduced to Ailbhe’s siblings: Mikey, Fiona, Hanna, Evie and Raurie who play a large role in Ailbhe’s life. The requisite evil has many faces.

PREACHER is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, heart break and loss, acceptance and love. The premise is dark, gritty, dramatic and intense; the romance struggles in the face of Preacher’s inability to let go; the characters are broken, desperate but struggling to survive.
