ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 14, 2022

My name is Caroline Beaumont. I appear to have it all––beauty, a successful career, friends and family who adore me.

But I have a secret.

I was four years old when the past began reaching out to me. Sometimes it came to me as a voice in my head. Other times, it presented as a vision of a lovely redhead and handsome dark-haired man from decades ago.

The doctors call it schizophrenia.
They’re wrong.

I have something else. Something that doesn’t have a name. Something that modern medicine can’t explain.

And I’m ready to embrace it.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date March 3, 2020

Emilia—
All I’ve ever wanted was to marry for love.
But girls like me don’t have that luxury.
We are used as pawns in a game we can’t control.
The game? It’s called Mafia.
I was foolish enough to try to change the rules… and I lost.

Luca—
She was promised to me years ago.
And he dared to take her from me.
Dared to touch what was mine.
I put an end to that.
I hope he’s enjoying the view from his dirt room.

Emilia—
My beloved’s killer placed a ruby ring on my finger and called me his queen.
But that red gem symbolizes something different for me.
It represents the blood shed by those I love most.
Hell was empty the day we wed.
Because the devil was standing before me and said “I do.”

Luca—
I saw her as a possession.
A shiny toy I didn’t want other boys to play with.
But she’s so much more.
Beautiful and brave and strong and broken all at once.
She tastes like everything I’ve ever wanted.

Emilia—
Hidden and patient.
I wait for the perfect time to seek my revenge.
But slowly, I feel him possessing me.
His heart is full of darkness… and I still want every inch of him.
Hard as I try, I can’t escape loving this beautiful monster.

Luca—
I’m waiting patiently because I already know that she’s mine.
Mine in a way that no one will ever understand.
Even if she hasn’t yet realized it.
For love, I’d do anything.
For her, I’d do everything.

REVIEW: WAITING FOR MY QUEEN by Georgia Cates is an adult, enemies to lovers, arranged mafia marriage, romance story line focusing on the heir to the Rossini family, Luca Rossini, and mafia princess / ballerina Emilia Bellini.

NOTE: WAITING FOR MY QUEEN takes place in 1978-79 but most of the references are limited to popular songs of the era.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line content, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Luca and Emilia) WAITING FOR MY QUEEN follows the tempestuous relationship between the heir to the Rossini family, Luca Rossini, and mafia princess / ballerina Emilia Bellini. Years earlier, an arrangement was made between the Rossini and Bellini families in which the head of the Bellini family, Alessandro Bellini promised his eldest daughter Emilia, to Luca Rossini, in an effort to merge for power and control but Alessandro never expected Emilia to fall in love with someone else, a love that would destroy them all. Murder, mayhem and heart break ensued leaving Emilia and her mother to grieve for the victims of the Rossini cartel. Weeks later, Emilia was handed over to the Rossini family, and our heroine made a vow to avenge everyone she loved and lost. What ensues is the acrimonious relationship between Emilia and Luca, and the fall-out as Emilia’s plans for the Rossini family slowly fade as our heroine begins to lose her heart to the man with whom she would fall in love.

Luca Rossini is a cold-hearted killer; a possessive, ruthless and arrogant male who will slowly succumb to the woman he had hoped to destroy. Desperate for an heir of his own, Luca would ensure Emilia carried his heir before their relationship went any further. Emilia Bellini lost everything the day Luca killed the man that she loved but revenge would come at a cost including losing her heart to our story line anti-hero.

The relationship between Luca and Emilia is an enemies to friends, arranged mafia marriage between two people who couldn’t have been more different. Emilia had fallen in love with her childhood friend, while Luca waited until Emilia was old enough to claim as his own. As Emilia pushes all of Luca’s buttons, Luca continues to break Emilia’s heart at every turn. The $ex scenes are raw and passionate-their first time together is aggressive and forced.

We are introduced to a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including both Luca (Marco and Viviana )and Emilia’s (Sofia and Alessandro) parents; Luca’s brothers Enzo and Stephan; Emilia’s sisters Isabella, Gemma and Micaela; Nonna Caterina, Nic Moretti, and Angelica.

WAITING FOR MY QUEEN is a story of family, vengeance, betrayal and love; a story of power and control; of promises, secrets and tragedy. The premise is dramatic and intense; the characters are energetic and animated; the romance is fated, captivating and visceral.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 9, 2020

A beautiful stranger.
That’s all she was when I moved into the house beside her.
And then I discovered something.

My neighbor isn’t your typical girl next door.

She’s a preacher’s daughter.
She’s a business professional.
She’s a fiery vixen who desires a strong alpha in the bedroom.
And a firm grip around her throat.

That’s what I give her.
But more than that, I want to leave my mark on the most intimate, untouched part of her body.
Her heart.

Things are perfect until that cruel twist of fate.
We learn that our paths aren’t crossing for the first time.
And we aren’t strangers at all.

Our history is painful.
Our love, fragile.
Our ending, inevitable… unless I can convince her that the past shouldn’t end our future.

***Previously titled Stout: Men of Lovibond.

••••••••

REVIEW: NEIGHBOR GIRL is the second instalment in Georgia Cates’s contemporary, adult SOUTHER GIRL erotic, romance series focusing on three friends-Lucas ‘Tap’ Broussard, Oliver ‘Stout’ Thorn, and Porter Beckman of Lovibond Brewery. This is Lovibond co-owner Oliver Thorn, and events coordinator Adelyn Maxwell’s story line. We were first introduced to Oliver in book 1-Bohemian Girl (previously TAP)-Oliver is Lawry’s brother. NEIGHBOR GIRL can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: NEIGHBOR GIRL was originally released as STOUT, the second instalment in the author’s previously titled Lovibond series.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Adelyn and Oliver aka Max and Thorn) NEIGHBOR GIRL focuses on the building relationship between new neighbors Adelyn and Oliver-a relationship that begins with a welcome to the neighborhood basket of baked goodies, a nosy sister who asks all of the right questions, and a PR event for Lovibond Brewery. What ensues is a slow building relationship between two people whose previous love matches resulted in broken and destroyed hearts. Trust must earned, and in this, our couple find themselves at odds on more than one occasion.

The attraction between Adelyn and Oliver is immediate and visceral but neither one is willing to act on their feelings and emotions. Their first night together finds Oliver out of his comfort zone, and out of Adelyn’s immediate life. Adelyns’s needs in the bedroom find Oliver focusing on the past. The $ex scenes are erotic, seductive and provocative.

NEIGHBOR GIRL has a large ensemble of secondary and supporting characters including Lawry and Luke from Bohemian Girl #1; Lawry and Oliver’s amazing parents; and Adelyn’s preacher father and his wife. We are also introduced to several friends and acquaintances, as well as Oliver’s new PA who may or may not be having an affair with Porter. Lawry’s friends Kelsey and Ivy make a cameo appearance at Oliver’s thirtieth birthday party-these girls like to tell it like it is. The world building continues to focus on the ‘craft beer’ industry though not as detailed as book one.

Georgia Cates seduces the reader with her stories of romance, love, family and a HEA. The premise is moving and compelling; the characters are captivating, entertaining and passionate; the romance is sensual and spirited. NEIGHBOR GIRL looks at heartbreak and betrayal; love and understanding; moving forward and letting go of the past.

REVIEW: BOHEMIAN GIRL is the first installment in Georgia Cates contemporary, adult SOUTHERN GIRL erotic romance series focusing on three friends-Tap, Stout (Ollie), and Porter of Lovibond Brewery. This is Lovibond co-owner Lucas ‘Tap’ Broussard, and hippie boutique owner Lawrence ‘Wren’ Thorn’s story line.

NOTE: BOHEMIAN GIRL is the re-release of the author’s originally titled novel TAP (Lovibond #1)

Told from alternating first person points of view (Tap and Wren) TAP follows the building, forbidden relationship between Tap and Wren. Tap is partnered with Ollie and Porter in the Lovibond brewery but when Ollie (aka Stout) must enter rehab as a result of a DUI and weeks of binge drinking following the break up with his latest girlfriend, he makes Tap promise not to reveal the truth to Ollie’s sister. What ensues is a building relationship between Tap and Wren, based upon fake text messages and lies believed to be from Ollie to Wren.

TAP is a story line that also focuses on the craft beer fad; behind the scenes of a successful business; and the reality of falling in love against the odds. Wren and Ollie’s past is darkened by a history of drug abuse and neglect; Tap’s recent past finds our hero making no promises for the future when he can’t let go of the heartbreak and pain.

The relationship between Tap and Wren begins as a series of lies and deceit that will blossom into a sexual affair they continue to keep secret from family, friends and especially Ollie Thorn. Ollie (Stout) warns Tap to keep away from his older sister but the heart is willing to risk everything for love-a love that will falter with the sins from the past. Tap’s backstory is heartbreaking and defines a good portion of his emotional and mental health. He is a man who will not promise the future because he refuses to believe in marriage or love.

BOHEMIAN GIRL has a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Tap’s partners in the Lovibond Brewery-Ollie and Porter- as well as Wren’s friend and boutique co-owner Kelsey, and their best friend Ivy. We are also introduced to Tap and Wren’s parents, and Tap’s ex Bridgette and her new husband Warren. Tap’s past and current relationship with his ex plays a large role throughout the story.

BOHEMIAN GIRL is a tale about love and loss; heartbreak and grief; secrets and lies. The premise is heart-warming in the face of so many obstacles; the characters are colorful and energetic; the romance is a slow build to a happily ever after. The epilogue fast forwards the story line several years-which makes me wonder where STOUT’S story will begin.

REVIEW: BEAUTIFUL EVER AFTER is the second and final instalment in Georgia Cates’ contemporary, adult BEAUTIFUL ILLUSIONS erotic, romance duet focusing on thirty-three year old, Scottish businessman and widower Maxwell ‘Hutch’ Hutcheson, and twenty-two year old, American student Caitriona ‘Lou’ Louden. BEAUTIFUL EVER AFTER should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book one EIGHTY-ONE NIGHTS. There is a slight cross-over with the author’s SIN TRILOGY series with the inclusion of the Breckenridge family from the aforementioned series.

SOME BACKGROUND: Desperate for money Caitriona Louden becomes an Inomorata woman, a ‘for-hire’ girlfriend for the rich and powerful. Never expecting more than a temporary arrangement, Cait is matched with a man named Hutch, the man with whom she will fall in love.

Told from dual first person points of view (Lou and Hutch) BEAUTIFUL EVER AFTER follows the continuing story of thirty-three year old, Scottish businessman and widower Maxwell ‘Hutch’ Hutcheson, and twenty-two year old, American student Caitriona ‘Lou’ Louden. At the end of book one EIGHTY-ONE NIGHTS, our heroine Caitriona Louden walks away from the man that she loves in order to protect our story line hero. Devastated and heart broken Lou falls into a depression, a depression matched by Maxwell Hutcheson. Unable to accept the loss of his love Max desperately searches for Caitriona Louden, a woman he knows only as Lou. Threats from the past pushed Lou out of his life but Max isn’t willing to let go without a fight. What ensues is the rekindling relationship and romance between Hutch and Lou, and the potential fall-out as Max’s past threatens everyone he loves.

BEAUTIFUL EVER AFTER is an emotional story of heart break and loss; betrayal and vengeance; acceptance, love, and moving forward. Once again, if you are a fan of the author’s BEAUTY series you will see a familiar outline and parallel correlations the author calls a ‘fusion of old and new material’. Georgia Cates pulls the reader into a sexy, spicy and sensitive story; a stunning and wonderful look at life, fate, romance and love.

I open my office door and the woman is sitting in one of the chairs facing my desk. My eyes are drawn to the back of her long straight blond hair and my first thought is that it’s Cora. But then I remember that Cora’s hair isn’t that long. Or platinum blond.

“My apologies, Miss Morata. I’m sorry to keep you waiting.”

“Being made to wait implies that your time is more important than mine. And I assure you that my time is very important. And expensive. Ask any of my clients and they’ll tell you so.”

Her accent is strange. Is she faking a Scottish burr?

“I assure you I’m not under the impression that your time is less important than mine or anyone else’s.” I come around the chair and offer my hand. “It’s a pleasure to make your acquaint—.”

Green-brown hazel eyes. Long lashes. Nose adorned with a few scattered freckles.

Perfect. Red. Lips.

My wife.

My wife wearing a platinum blond wig?

Beautiful, penniless American girl meets handsome, wealthy Scotsman.
Sounds like the beginning of a fairy-tale romance?
It’s not.

Because I have to.
But he’ll always have a piece of me.

I’ll mask my sorrow with a smile.
I’ll hide my love with indifference
… all while it’s killing me softly.

A fairy-tale romance.
It isn’t mine to have.
And this man I’ve come to love so dearly isn’t my happily ever after.

About Eighty-One Nights:
While the characters from Eighty-One Nights are entirely new, their storyline is a combination of fresh material and carefully selected themes, scenes, and settings from The Beauty Series, The Sin Trilogy, Dear Agony, and Indulge. This is intentional. I chose some of my favorite elements from previous releases and interjected them into Hutch and Lou’s story. Let’s call it a “story fusion” between our old favorites and new material.

••••••••••

REVIEW: EIGHTY-ONE NIGHTS is the first instalment in Georgie Cates’ contemporary, adult BEAUTIFUL ILLUSIONS erotic, romance duet focusing on thirty-three year old, Scottish businessman and widower Maxwell Hutcheson, and twenty-two year old, American student Caitriona ‘Lou’ Louden.

Told from dual first person points of view (Lou and Max) EIGHTY-ONE NIGHTS follows the fake boyfriend/girlfriend arrangement between thirty-three year old, Scottish businessman Maxwell Hutcheson, and twenty-two year old, American student Caitriona ‘Lou’ Louden. Maxwell Hutcheson is looking for a companion but when his best friend Brady suggests the services of Inomorata, Maxwell never expected to fall in love. Enter American Caitriona Louden aka Lou, a young woman struggling to make ends meet, including the fees for her university tuition. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Lou and Max, and the fall-out as Lou and Max’s time together comes to an end, an ending destroyed by betrayal and vengeance.

Caitriona Louden struggles with her ethics when her roommate Rachel suggests becoming an Inomorata woman, a for-hire girlfriend for rich men looking for temporary arrangements, and beautiful eye-candy. Meeting Maxwell Hutcheson finds our heroine slowly falling in love with a man whose former in-laws are unwilling to accept our heroine in his life. Targeted by more than one person willing to destroy her life, Cat is forced to walk away from the man with whom she is falling in love.

The relationship between Lou and Max is an arranged affair with an expiry date of eighty-one days. Never expecting to fall in love Lou is faced with heart break and betrayal before their time is up. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and secondary characters including Caitriona’s best friend and roommate Rachel; Max’s sister Sara, her husband Adam, as well as Max’s brother Ian Hutcheson. We are introduced to Inomorata’s chatelaine Coram her son Chambers, as well as Max’s former sister in law Blair.

If you are a fan of, or have read the author’s original BEAUTY series focusing on Jack Prescott and Laurelyn Prescott, you will notice the numerous similarities and recognizable premise to the current plot development of EIGHTY-ONE NIGHTS. There is also a slight cross-over with the author’s BEAUTY series and the mention of the band Southern Ophelia. The author has been transparent with the parallel correlations calling it a fusion of her ‘old favorites and new material’. I welcomed the familiarity as I loved the BEAUTY series but I was also hoping for some deeper twists to the original plot line.

EIGHTY-ONE NIGHTS is a familiar story of friendship, romance, heart break and love. There are moments of happiness and pain; revelations and acceptance; betrayal, vengeance, grief and loss. The premise is engaging, entertaining and captivating: the romance is seductive, provocative, and impassioned; the characters are energetic, bold and strong. EIGHTY-ONE NIGHTS end on a cliff-hanger, you have been warned.

I’m standing on a platform, the wall in front of me covered with a floor-to-ceiling mirror. I feel like I should be trying on wedding dresses in a bridal boutique, waiting to say yes to the dress so that I can be jacked up with a veil and jewelry.

Cora taps the center of my back directly between my shoulder blades. “Stop slouching.”

She walks down the steps of the platform and looks up at me. “What is your European shoe size?”

“Thirty-six.”

“Valerie, bring the seventy-five-millimeter black peep toes in her size.”

Good Lord. This woman has an assistant for everything, even shoe fetching.

“We’ll begin your stride training with lower heels and work our way up to the higher ones.”

Cora is short like me, but you don’t notice until you look at her tall heels and see that four inches of her height can be attributed to her shoes.

Valerie returns and places the black pumps on the floor in front of me.

“Louboutins.” I didn’t intend for that to come out. And I definitely didn’t mean for it to sound so covetous.

“I understand. You’ve never had shoes like these, but your closet is about to be filled with countless pairs like them along with designer clothing and handbags. You represent Inamorata. You represent me. It’s crucial that you always look your best, but your job right now is to be my student. Listen to me and you’ll learn how to entertain some of the wealthiest and most influential men in Scotland.”

That’s a frightening thought.

“You aren’t at all concerned that your clients won’t like me?”

“You’re going to be a polished gem when I finish with you. No part of you will be unlikable.”

I’m pretty sure that she’s wrong about that.

“Not everyone loves Americans.” I’ve lived in Scotland for six years, but I still consider myself American—my first sixteen years were spent there.

“Inamorata clients are going to love that about you. You’re a different flavor from my other girls.”

I hear what she’s saying, but I look at myself in the mirror and can’t imagine any high-class Scotsman who would be willing to pay big bucks for my company. I’m nobody.

“What’s wrong, Caitriona?”

“I’m afraid.”

“Don’t be. I do background checks on every man before accepting him as a client. I reject anyone with even a hint of a questionable past.”
“That’s not the kind of afraid that I’m talking about.”

“Well, I need you to explain what that means before we go any further.”

It’s embarrassing to admit my fears. “What if they don’t think I’m pretty enough? Or smart enough? Or interesting enough?”

Cora claps her palms together twice, making a high-pitched slapping sound. “Everyone out. Now.”

Her three assistants scramble to get through the door, nearly running each other down. I truly believe that if Cora told them to jump, they would ask how high.

She comes up on the platform, standing behind me. She grasps my upper arms and looks over my shoulder at my reflection in the mirror. “Look at the woman staring back at you. Who is she?”

“Caitriona Louden.”

“You’re stating the obvious and it’s a waste of my time. Look deep inside of the woman in front of you, and find the wee lass beneath her surface.”

Find the wee lass beneath my surface? No way. That’s stupid.
I shake my head. “I don’t want to do that.”

“I don’t care if you want to do it or not. You’re going to if you want to work for me. The choice is yours.”

I contemplate walking out. I want to so badly, but I can’t. I need money.

“What do you want from me?”

“Start by taking a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and think about what you see.”

Long brown hair, thick and often unruly. Hazel eyes, more green than brown after I’ve had a good cry. Fair skin, a few scattered freckles across my nose and cheeks. Short and small-framed.

“Are you pretty?” Cora asks.

“According to others, I am. But I never was in my mother’s eyes.”

“What did your mother say to you about the way you look?”

God, you look just like that Scottish bastard. I heard that from her so many times that it became as much a part of my DNA as the X chromosome that he gave me. “She said that I looked like my father.”

“Did she hate him?”

“She did eventually.” His marriage to Heidi changed everything. My mother couldn’t take his being happy with another woman.

“She saw him when she looked at you?”

“Yes.”

“We grow up and become women, but no matter how old we get, we always have a wee lass living inside of us.”

I’ve never heard anyone say anything like that, but I suppose it’s true at least to some degree.

“Tell me about the wee lass inside of you.”

Little Caity Louden. She’s not someone that I like to think about. Her story isn’t a happily-ever-after fairy tale. “Her father abandoned her before she was born. She was raised by a single mom in the trashiest part of New Orleans. Her mother worked at a bar on Bourbon Street, but she drank more cocktails than she served.”

“Keep going.”

“She learned at a very early age how to fend for herself because no one took care of her.” No one loved her. It’s hard to admit, even to myself only in my head, that the one person in this world who was supposed to love me unconditionally didn’t.

“And?” Cora says.

“Her tears ran dry and her delicate, soft heart hardened. It turned to stone.”

Cora nods. “Stone is strong and resilient.”

My eyes move to hers. “Stone is cold and resistant to penetration without being broken.”

“Also true.”

I look back at myself. “I’m damaged. Something’s missing inside of me. A piece of me is not here.”

Cora walks around and stands in front of me so that we’re face-to-face. “Strong people don’t have easy pasts, and the scars they carry prove that they are stronger than whatever tried to hurt them. You’re a warrior and a beautiful young woman who is deserving of good things and happiness. You’re special, Caitriona, whether you realize it or not. Our pasts aren’t all that different; I understand you far better than you can ever imagine.”

Cora’s words are… empowering and soothing at the same time.

She crouches, unnecessarily repositioning the shoes in front of me, and I see the act for what it truly is. She’s lowering herself and elevating me. “Toes go in first, beautiful warrior.”

I grow three inches when I step into the shoes. She stands upright, and it feels good to look this powerful, independent woman in the eyes. She makes me want to be stronger.

“Diamonds are beautiful. And they’re also flawed. They don’t crack but they do cut.” Cora places a finger beneath my chin, lifting it slightly, and looks directly into my eyes. “Be a diamond, Caitriona.”

Georgia resides in rural Mississippi with her wonderful husband, Jeff, and their two beautiful daughters. She spent fourteen years as a labor and delivery nurse before she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an author and hasn’t looked back yet.

When she’s not writing, she’s thinking about writing. When she’s being domestic, she’s listening to her iPod and visualizing scenes for her current work in progress. Every story coming from her always has a song to inspire it.

Redemption (The Sin Trilogy #6) by Georgia Cates-a review

REDEMPTION (Sin Series Standalone: Sin Trilogy #6) by Georgia Cates-a review

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N / KOBO / Chapters Indigo / Google Play

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 18, 2018

A Sin Series Standalone Novel

I was on my way to having everything that I wanted… until I opened that door. That’s when my entire world shattered. In a single second, my happy life was gone.

She broke my heart. There, I admit it. But a Fellowship man doesn’t mourn the loss of a woman. He moves on to the next one. And the next. But what I quickly discover is that it doesn’t matter how many women I’m with. I’ll never find one who can replace Lorna Frazier.

I’ve been an arse, doing everything within my power to hurt her. And I’ve been successful at it. But it doesn’t heal the pain of losing the woman that I love. She is my everything, and I’m nothing without her.

Apart, we’re weak. Together, we’re strong.
Apart, we’re in hell. Together, we’re in heaven.
Apart, we’re broken. Together, we’re whole.

I won’t give up on us.

••••••••••••

REVIEW: REDEMPTION is the sixth instalment in Georgia Cates’ contemporary, adult SIN TRILOGY focusing on the men and women of the Scottish Crime Syndicates The Fellowship, and The Order. This is bar owner and Fellowship member Leith Duncan, and former barmaid Lorna Frazier’s story line. REDEMPTION can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion regarding the Fellowship and the Order, as well as Lorna and Leith’s tempestuous relationship.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Leith and Lorna) REDEMPTION follows the second chance relationship between bar owner and Fellowship member Leith Duncan, and former barmaid Lorna Frazier. Four years earlier Leith and Lorna proclaimed their love for one another but Leith discovered Lorna in a compromising position with Fellowship Leader Sin Breckenridge, a position that destroyed Leith’s heart. Fast forward to present day wherein another member of The Fellowship declares his interest in our story line heroine, an interest that threatens any second chance should Lorna accept the ill-timed proposal. What ensues is the second chance romance between Lorna and Leith, and the potential fall-out as Lorna is targeted by someone from Leith’s past.

The relationship between Lorna and Leith is quick to rebuild. Four years of loving one-another from a distance but four years wherein neither one moved forward until someone else is willing to take a chance on our story line heroine. All untainted women of The Fellowship are considered fair game but Lorna is neither untainted nor willing to move forward without the man who still owns her heart. The $ex scenes are passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

REDEMPTION is a story of family, friendships, betrayal and revenge. The tight-knit Scottish crime families, once at war, now brought together by marriage and alliance, will once again fall victim to death and destruction as one of The Fellowship is targeted in an act of betrayal, jealousy and hate. The premise is engaging; the romance is seductive; the characters are familiar and charismatic- all of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting roles. My only complaint is the quick rebuilding relationship following a four-year separation-I was hoping for more angst and uncertainty but such is the nature of second chance romance. And of course, book six in a ‘trilogy’ seems rather odd therefore ‘removing’ the word trilogy is definitely an option. The epilogue fast -forwards the series approximately seven years.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 20, 2017

The Fellowship saga continues with Kieran and Westlyn’s story in this standalone spinoff of The Sin Trilogy.

Captor becomes lover…

I’m a marksman. Mobster. Deadly assassin.
My job is to protect my brotherhood, but that isn’t my only responsibility.

I’m Kieran Hendry, the up-and-coming leader of The Order, and a new duty calls. I must take a wife.

A wife I don’t know.
A wife born into a position at the top of The Fellowship hierarchy.
A wife who will forge a strong alliance between her brotherhood and mine.
A wife I don’t want.

I knew next to nothing about Westlyn Breckenridge when I abducted her, but I quickly discover that she’s intelligent, strong, defiant, selfless. And beautiful.

One night with her is all it takes for me to see that she is no typical Mafia princess. I’m hopeful this arranged marriage won’t be the miserable union I imagined it to be. But convincing my intended to give us a chance won’t be easy when she sees me as the enemy. The brute who kidnapped her. The vile fiend who threatened to do as he wished with her body.

It’s true. I am all those things. I had cruel intentions. But everything has changed. My affection for her is unexpected. My love, unintended.

***Unintended can be read as a standalone novel although it is a novel accompanying The Sin Trilogy. It is best enjoyed after reading The Sin Trilogy and Endurance: A Sin Series Standalone novel.

•••••••••••••

REVIEW: UNINTENDED is the fifth installment in Georgia Cates’ contemporary, adult THE SIN TRILOGY erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Scottish Mafia known as the Syndicate. This is The Order’s assassin and heir Kieran Hendry, and The Fellowship’s Westlyn Breckenridge’s story line. UNINTENDED is a standalone story line in Georgia Cate’s THE SIN TRILOGY SERIES but I recommend reading the original trilogy and series in order for backstory, cohesion, and an understanding of the world of The Fellowship and The Order. Some of the timeline in Unintended crosses over and runs parallel with events in book four-Endurance.

SOME BACKGROUND: The Syndicate is the Scottish Mafia comprised of two ruling families – The Order and The Fellowship. The men are in control; the marriages are arranged; the women and wives are brutally claimed; the men are baptized into the Mafia through a test of endurance that will either make or break the prospective members. The Sin Trilogy series looks at the current generation of the Scottish mob, the struggle to adhere to the older ways, and the building and sometimes forbidden love between two people forced into an unknown marriage of convenience.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Westlyn and Kieran) UNINTENDED follows the building romance between The Order’s assassin and heir Kieran Hendry, and The Fellowship’s Westlyn Breckenridge. Kidnapped (along with her brother Jamie’s girlfriend Ellison) and threatened by Kieran Hendry, Westlyn must come to terms with the possibility that the cruel and potentially abusive male will stake his claim leaving her without the possibility of a future or a choice. What ensues is the growing love between Kieran and Westlyn, and the potential fall out when sins of the past come looking for revenge.

Westlyn wants nothing to do with Kieran Hendry-a man who is all but willing to destroy our heroine, taking her innocence and threatening her life within minutes of meeting his potential bride. Kieran struggles between honor and duty; and claiming Westlyn Breckenridge, the mouthy and combative Fellowship female, is seen more of a duty than an honor bound between warring families.

The relationship between Westlyn and Kieran is one of immediate attraction but Kieran’s threats of physical violence push all of our heroine’s buttons including the possibility of sacrificing herself to protect the people whom she loves. Kieran is an over protective, sexy alpha male; Westlyn is an innocent who has prepared for life within The Fellowship knowing that at anytime she could be claimed by someone on the other side. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and intense. When it comes to his future mate Kieran is passionate, protective and affectionate- a complete turn around within hours of kidnapping his prospective bride.

All of the previous story line couples and characters play secondary and supporting roles including Sin and Bleu (The Sin Trilogy 1-3), Ellison and Jamie (Endurance 4), several members of both the The Order and The Fellowship. Mitch Breckenridge will claim Kieran’s younger sister Shaw-a relationship that will further cement the peace treaty but a relationship and romance we know nothing about. We are introduced to Kieran’s parents Lennox and Arabella, as well as his brothers Maddock, Calder and Carson. Lorna Frazier and Leith’s relationship continues to crumble with the author hinting at potential story for theses secondary characters. I am hoping the author has plans for Mitch and Shaw’s story-their relationship and claiming is but a blip on the radar.

UNINTENDED is a story of family, honor, duty and love. A passionate tale about two people pushed together by circumstance and obligation who fall in love through passion and acceptance. The premise is sexy and edgy; the characters are sassy, dynamic and lively; the romance is heartwarming, encouraging and seductive. UNINTENDED is a dramatic and powerful look at commitment to family, prestige, obligation and respect.

Unintended Teaser 2

Excerpt beige

Kieran Hendry makes me feel like a woman. A desired woman. His words, the way he looks at me, his
body language. Everything he does is a huge turn-on. Yet I hate this man. Loathe him. But damn, he has
a way of touching me that makes me forget every logical thought in my head. It doesn’t make sense to
me how I can despise him and at the same time respond so strongly to his touch.
It’s my body reacting to him, not my head. It must be hormones and sex drive. Those two things
combined have the power to make people do things they wouldn’t normally do.
“You’re trembling.” He grazes the back of his fingers down my cheek and my stomach does some kind of
flip. “Do I frighten you?”
I look away because I can’t tell him that it isn’t fear giving me the trembles.
He grasps my chin and forces me to look at him. “Do. I. Frighten. You?”
“No.”
He rubs my bottom lip with his thumb. “Then what is it?”
I shake my head.
He leans in for another kiss but stops before his lips touch mine. We’re so close I can feel his breath on
my mouth. Just like last night when my body turned to mush.
I’m quivering and my breath has become more rapid. I may even be a little lightheaded.
His bottom lip grazes mine, but he still doesn’t kiss me. “I’ll back off right now if it’s what you want.”
I don’t want him to back off. I also don’t want him to know that I don’t want him to back off. Feels too
much like giving in to something I’m not supposed to crave.
“I’m going to kiss you.”
I’m his captive. We made an agreement. I must submit without a fight per our deal to maintain Ellison’s
safety.
Yeah. Keep telling yourself that, Wes. Maybe if you say it enough, you’ll start to believe it.
His fingers lace through my hair and he holds me prisoner when he lowers his mouth to mine. I open,
giving his tongue an invitation to come inside. The two meet, and together they become erotic dance
partners with Kieran taking the lead.
I’ve only had one very forgettable kiss in my life. But this kiss… I could live a million years and never
forget it or the way I feel right now.
He stops, his lips hovering over mine. His breath warm against my skin. “More or stop? Your decision.”
He’s asking me to venture further with him. My body says yes, but my head tells me that one more step
will take me to a place I shouldn’t go with this man. I’m twenty-three and being kissed for the second
time in my life. I don’t want this to stop. “More.”

Craft beer and the sexy men who brew it.

My employee’s daughter. The tomboy. The kid who once did odd jobs around the brewery. That’s all she was… until three years passed and she walked into my office for an interview.

Frankee Dawson is no longer that girl I once called Kiddo. She’s grown into a beautiful, sexy, desirable woman. Very desirable. And that’s a problem. She’s my employee’s daughter. Lovibond family. And too young for me. Too innocent.

I want to feel her respond to my kiss.
I want her body to tremble as she anticipates my touch.
I want to learn all the places that bring her pleasure.
But mostly I want her to know that she’s never truly been loved by a man until me.

Frankee is my intern and under me for the summer. Literally. It’s a difficult secret to maintain when you can’t keep your hands off each other.

This was supposed to be a hot summer fling. Sex and fun without commitment. That’s what we called it. But we were wrong. This is more. I’ve never felt this way about a woman. Never cared more about someone else’s happiness more than my own.

I love her. And I’m happy, so damn happy… until a terrible mistake from my past springs forward and threatens to rip us apart.

There are a million reasons for her to leave me. And trust me, she should. But all I really need is one good reason for her to stay.

REVIEW: PORTER is the third and final installment in Georgia Cates’ contemporary, adult LOVIBOND erotic, romance series focusing on three friends –Lucas ‘Tap’ Broussard, Oliver ‘Stout’ Thorn, and William ‘Porter ‘ Beckman of Lovibond Brewery. This is Lovibond co-owner Porter Beckman, and graphic designer Frankee Dawson’s story line. PORTER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person points of view (Porter and Frankee) PORTER follows the forbidden relationship between thirty year old Lovibond co-owner Porter Beckman, and his new intern, daughter of his warehouse manager, twenty one year old graphic designer Frankee Dawson. Five years earlier Frankee Dawson worked as a student sweeping the warehouse and doing odd jobs, but the Frankee that has returned is no longer the gangly teen, but a beautiful woman that has caught the boss’s eye. Applying for the twelve week summer intern position, Frankee comes face to face with the man that has starred in all of her fantasies for close to five years, and the man with whom Frankee will fall in love. What ensues is the building but secret relationship between Frankee and Porter, and the potential fall out when Porter’s past reveals some damaging news.

Frankee Dawson has had a crush on Porter Beckman since the day he hired her father five years earlier. Now a graphic designer, Frankee hopes to impress the boss with more than her artwork, but with her body as well. Porter Beckman knows that to get involved with Frankee Dawson could threaten his relationship with her father, his warehouse manager, but Porter’s attraction to Frankee is palpable; his desire for Frankee grows quickly, and has our story line hero considering a possible future-together. But someone from Porter’s past is making life difficult for our story line couple, and in the end, Frankee must make a decision whether to stay, or move forward without the man that she loves. With the twelve week deadline looming, Frankee thought for sure she new what she wanted but a surprise announcements halts everyone in their tracks.

The relationship between Porter and Frankee is one of immediate attraction; a forbidden romance between boss and intern, but a relationship that is fated for our story line couple. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense. Our heroine was a virgin until Porter Beckman offered Frankee more than a one-night stand.

All of the previous couples and characters play secondary and supporting roles including Tap and Lawry, Stout and Adelyn, as well as Frankee’s parents, Scott and Tara Dawson; Porter’s parents Kit and Gabe Beckman, as well as Porter’s office manager Molly who sees past their friendly facade, and Frankee’s besties Dillyn and Ava. It was nice catching up with Tap and Stout, with a glimpse into the future for all three series’ couples.

PORTER is a fun and flirty story line; a sexy and sassy couple whose attraction to one another wars with their sense of right and wrong- a forbidden romance that sees two people find their happily ever after but not before facing sins of the past. The premise is impassioned; the characters are spirited and realistic; the romance is provocative and seductive. PORTER is a playful and delightful read that will having you asking for more.

excerpt

Unedited and subject to change.

Frankee and I stayed up until three in the morning. I couldn’t keep my hands off of her. Not when she was wearing that sexy-as-fuck lingerie.
I’ve never seen anyone wear anything like that. Sure, I’ve watched porn and seen it on those women, but never on a real-life woman. And never one in my bed.
Frankee is like my very own porno princess.
I gave her six orgasms last night—one an hour. I’ve never done that before. Not that I don’t have the ability. I’ve just never been inclined to.
“Frankee.”
She doesn’t stir. Not even a little. I shake her shoulder this time. “Frankee. Wake up, baby. I have to go.”
She rolls to her back and slowly opens her eyes. “Someone fucked me into next week. You’ll have to check back with me when it comes around to see if I can wake up.”
“You don’t have to get up, but I do have to go.”
“No. Don’t go. Staaaay.” She has no idea how badly I want to.
At some point during the night, Frankee washed off her makeup, and I’m seeing her for the first time without cosmetics. It’s confirmed. She’s a natural beauty and doesn’t need that garbage on her face.
“I wish I could stay in this bed with you all day, but I promised Stout I’d help him move his stuff to his new house today. I was supposed to be there already, but I couldn’t bear to leave when you looked so beautiful in my bed.”
I already know he’s going to give me shit for being late.
“Wait a minute… before you go.”
Frankee dashes to the bathroom, still wearing her porno princess attire from last night. That is one convenient getup. I hope she has more of those.
She returns from the bathroom with her hair twisted into a topknot. I don’t know what it is that makes that so damn sexy.
She wraps her arms around my shoulders and lowers herself to straddle me on the bed. “Kiss me before you go.”
Her mouth is minty. And hungry, based on the way she devours my mouth and neck. “Is this your plan for tempting me to stay?”
Her hands are working to undo the button and zipper on my jeans. “No. This is.”
