REVIEW: GRIM JUSTICE is the eighteenth instalment in Nikki Landis’ contemporary, adult RBMC: TONOPAH NV dark, erotic, paranormal MC romance series, a part of the multi-authored RBMC. GRIM JUSTICE is the continuing story of Dex ‘Grim Reaper’ Lanford, and his ol’ lady/wife Trish. GRIM JUSTICE should not be read as a stand alone. Grim and Trish’s story begins in Devil’s Ride #4.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Grim and Trish) GRIM JUSTICE follows Grim and the Reapers as they hunt for, and take down the man who killed Grim’s father Scar. Razr, a member of the Scorpions MC, killed Grim’s father, and justice had yet to be served by the Reapers. Razr’s release from prison comes with potential help from the Devil himself but Grim refuses Lucifer’s assistance, and in doing so, places the woman he loves in the direct line of fire. Someone is stalking Trish Lanford, and Grim is determined to destroy anyone who stands in his way.

The world building continues to focus on the speciality of the RBMC: TONOPAH NV; their connection to Lucifer Morningstar, and their altar egos as Satan’s Reapers. The members of the RBMC: Tonopah are not born Reapers but upon their death beds are offered a chance at vengeance for the people they have lost.

The relationship between Trish and Grim continues to be passionate and intimate. Now a family of three, Trish and Grim will do anything to protect the next generation of bikers, bikers who has seen and can do more than anyone could have ever imagined. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several members of the RBMC: Tonopah; Trish’s sister Faith, her daughter Jessa; Grim and Trish’s son Creed, and Satan himself Lucifer Morningstar. The requisite evil has many faces.

GRIM JUSTICE is a quick read; a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, murder, mayhem, and justice. The fast paced premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is provocative; the characters are powerful, determined and dangerous.
