Description:
T’Harris isn’t the most demanding of the Guardians of the Empire but, like Gabriella, he hasn’t been beaten on the battlefield yet. He is also a master swordsman, like she is. When not practicing, or performing his duty to the Empire as one of the guardians, he is lighthearted although he refuses to take a back seat to anyone, if pushed.

He vows to win her through his gentle ways and charm. Is it enough? As she uses her talent to see if she can outwit the Fates, she realizes this is a battle she cannot win, for history tells her that no Elf who ever tried has. They also have a common enemy, one they feel they will need to be united against to defeat.

When Gabriella is mistaken for a common Elven maiden and taken to enemy lands, T’Harris must fly to her aid, for this is his love, his Life Mate, and one he has promised to guard with his life. Can he get to her before they realize who and what she is? Or will he lose her to the point of an enemy sword?

Review:

The General by M.A. Abraham is the 6th book in her Guardians of the Empire series.  Brief refresher:  This series is set in the same world as Abraham’s wonderful Elven Chronicles series, but thousands of years after that series ended; with all surviving humans having been granted a land called The Valley, to live in peace and prosperity.

Finally, we get to spend time with Gabriella and T’Harris, as they both know they are Life Mates.  T’Harris, who has known for awhile that she is his Life Mate, has waited for the right moment, not to pressure her, and when they go head-to-head in a sword battle, the time has arrived.  Gabriella is an unbeatable master swordsman, and a true General, being a descendant of Gabriel.  T’Harris is one of the best Guardians of the Empire and also a master swordman, and almost equal to Gabriella.

In a short time, she will accept that he is her Life Mate, but before they can bond, she is kidnapped by soldiers of King Felix and his sons, who have a bounty on Gabriella.  T’Harris will sense Gabriella being in danger, and all the Guardians travel to rescue her.  During the battle, Gabriella will finally bring forth her dragon, who is a beautiful iridescent white dragon; and she manages to destroy their weapons, and leave the King and his family with many loses, as well as revengeful.  With T’Harris severely injured, Gabriella, and all the warriors return to the Valley to try and save his life.

What follows is an exciting wild adventure with Gabriella, in the forefront, as well as enjoying seeing the love between Gabriella and T’Harris.  The Elves continue to work toward eventually moving everything to the Elven Lands that were hidden many years ago, as the oracle has told them they need to bring the Sentinels back home.  The storyline also continues with Evart, his brothers and father King Felix, especially after the heavy destruction and loss.  Evart, Sonya and Alexis at the moment are happy to be safe with the Elves, away from their evil King.  Personally, I thought too much time was spent with King Felix as we came closer to the end.

I do not want to say too much more, as it would be spoilers, with a lot going on.  It was an interesting story, giving us a glimpse of the future, and hopefully more of Gabriella and T’Harris.  I loved seeing many of our heroes again, and I absolutely love Gabriella.  The General was a well written and entertaining story. A great addition to the series, focusing on our wonderful Gabriella. You should read this series, and start with the first book to get to know all the characters.

The Tratchar by M.A. Abraham – Review & Giveaway

The Tratchar by M.A. Abraham – Review & Giveaway

Amazon / B&N / Kobo / Apple

Description:
Cambria is a highly powered Tratchar, and her task is to take care of the Sentinels, in the same way her ancestors did, many millenniums before. She is good at her job and proud of what she does. She is also deadly as she is beautiful.

Anders isn’t one of the elite among the Guardians of the Empire, but he is happy to be numbered among them. To him, it is a point of pride. For, although he is one of the younger dragon shifters, he figures he has lots of time to develop.

All thoughts of his status, however, disappear into the mist when he sees a pretty young Elven female create a tree out of a seed she holds cupped in her hands. He watches in awe, as the small tree forms, and then loses all that he is to her as their eyes meet, for she is his life mate, and he can tell she is as aware of what he is to her as he is to her.

Review:

The Tratchar by M.A. Abraham is the 5th book in her Guardians of the Empire series. Brief refresher:  This series is set in the same world as Abraham’s Elven Chronicles, but thousands of years past.  This series is set in the same world as Abraham’s wonderful Elven Chronicles series, but thousands of years after that series ended; with all surviving humans having been granted a land called The Valley, to live in peace and prosperity.  Over the years, these humans did not remember the Elves, who were in their own portal.  In the earlier books, the Elves will got to meet many of these humans, as well as having to fight against the evil in those lands.

From the start we spend time with Cambria and her lifemate Anders, as they enjoy their love and free time away from others.  But soon they are called back, with Cambria stepping forth to help a major move of the Guardians, Sentinels, and Elves to leave the Valley and their own homes to where it all started. This is a major undertaking, as it involves the humans to be able to defend themselves, especially against Evart’s family. Evart, who is the youngest son of the King, previously helped send away Sonya and later Alexis to their safety with the Elves.

What follows is an exciting wild adventure where Gabriella, tries to help train Evart, as he returns to his homeland, and secretly fight his family for control and to stop their plans of destruction in the Valley.  But the majority of the storyline revolves around all the Elves working together, as well as with the Fae to leave their own homes and return to the Elven lands that were hidden away long ago. Now that there is peace, the fates and oracles have told them what they must do to bring the Sentinels back home.

I do not want to say too much more, as it would be spoilers, with a lot going on.  It was an interesting story, giving us a glimpse of the future, as well as leaving things open for Evart helping the Elves against his family.  The Tratchar was a well written and entertaining story. A great addition to the series. You should read this series, and start with the first book to get to know all the characters.

The Legacy by M.A. Abraham – a Review

The Legacy by M.A. Abraham – a Review

Amazon / Kobo / Apple

Description:
Born with the same talents as her illustrious ancestor, the High Lord General Gabriel Eagle Claw, Gabriella grows into her powers. It is not an easy road for the young Elven girl to walk, for as Gabriel’s father had expected great things from his well endowed son, so does her father expect the same things from her.

Cambria is Gabriella’s twin and partner in crime. She is a Tratchar with as much talent as her ancestress, Eden. With her best friend at her side, Ilénè, the Dark Elven Princess, they seek to ease the path that has been set out for them.

This is a coming of age story of how the Legacy of the Eagle Claw family that was missing from the Eagle Claw lineage returns. It is a symbol of power and might no one in the Empire has seen since Gabriel commanded the Combined Armed Forces.

Review:

The Legacy by M.A. Abraham is a novella from her Guardians of the Empire series.  This short story is focused on Gabriella, who at current time, is the High Lord General of the Combined Armed Forces, and a wonderful heroine, who is as good as our Gabriel from many years ago, and the previous High Lord General.

The Legacy introduces us to 8 year old Gabriella and Cambria (her sister), with their best friend, Ilene (Dark Elven Princess) who love teasing their brothers.  Gabriella begins at this young age to prove her amazing prowess, surprising her own brothers how good she really was with a sword, as well as being a step ahead. Her father senses her powers, and knows she is destined to great things.

When they are teenagers, the girls plot a war game, with Gabriella picking a team of girls from different realms, who excel at being the best there is.  It is in this game, Gabriella shows her true powers and expertise in planning how to defeat the men and win the war game.

There has never been a replacement for Gabriel, until when Gabriella goes beyond everyone’s expectations, and when the portal opens, she is awarded by the Guardian the title of High Lord General, which will over time increase her full ability and respect from everyone.

This was a fun, as well as interesting story showing us how Gabriella grew up to become the next in line (after all those years of no Eagle Claw) to a powerful position, and how she started as a child to learn to be what was eventually expected of her by the Fates.  The Legacy was fast paced and fun read, and giving us how Gabriella became what she is now.  If you are a big Elven Chronicles fan, you need to read this novella; very well done by M.A. Abraham.

Description:
Ilénè is a Dark Elven Elite warrior of repute, one who knows her worth. She has led her father’s elite squad for the last one hundred years, but she is getting tired of the constant drill. She has decided it is time to settle down and have a family. The question is with whom?

Kestriel was raised in the way of the ancient High Elven people, and he serves as one of the Guardians of the Empire. It is an honour and one he appreciates to the fullest. He has no intentions of soiling his hands on an Elven female of questionable repute. Until he meets Ilénè.

The moment Kestriel meets Ilénè, he knows he has met his Life Mate. The trouble with this is that he grew up with the impression that it was the male who should be the aggressor in a budding relationship, not the woman. What is a poor Elven Dragon shifter to do?

Review:

The Warrior by M.A. Abraham is the 4th book in her Guardians of the Empire series. Brief refresher:  This series is set in the same world as Abraham’s Elven Chronicles, but thousands of years past.  We learned of the different portals in earlier books, such as the Elven lands and the human Valley land.  There are more that we meet moving forward.

Ilene, our heroine, is a Dark Elven Elite Warrior, who happens to be best friends with Cambria & her sister, Gabriella (General of the Elven Army), both from the strong Eagle Claw family.  Early on, Ilene comes face to face with one of the ancient Guardians of the Empire, who turns out to be her lifemate.

Kestriel, our hero, is a true warrior and powerful Guardian.  One look at Ilene, he is hooked for life and thrilled to have met such a wonderful warrior in her own right, in Ilene.  It was fun to watch the two of them desperate to do the bonding, and getting interrupted along the way.

The storyline also continues with Evart, who is the youngest son of the King, as in the previous book, he helped send away Sonya and later Alexis to their safety with the Elves.  When Evart’s father, and brothers are away trying to invade the lands of the Elves, Evart works with everyone to clean up the estate, get food, and earn the respect of the workers.  But when his family returns, he is regulated back to handling the financials, until he senses an evil entity in far basement.  When Evart and one of his brothers tries to research this, a terrible evil entity escapes.  Both Sonya and Alexis sense something wrong with Evart (the entire family is affected).

What follows is an exciting and wild adventure where Gabriella, Ilene, Cambria and all the Guardians, High Elves, Tracthars, Dragons and powerful sons and daughters of the sun must step in to find the evil entity and destroy it before he creates more havoc.  This was an exciting story totally involving all the Elves, with Evart and his family under the strange spell.  There is no doubt that though it might be awhile until she gets her story and lifemate, Gabriella is the major star of this series, as she is a fantastic warrior, as well as Gabriel’s descendant.

I do not want to say too much more, as it would be spoilers, with a lot going on.  It was a fun, exciting, action-filled story, as we follow the fantastic characters Abraham has created in this series.   The Warrior was a fun and entertaining story line, written very well by M.A. Abraham.   You should read this series, and start with the first book to get to know all the characters.

The Priestess by M.A. Abraham – a Review

The Priestess by M.A. Abraham – a Review

Amazon / Kobo

Description:
Britallia hides secrets from her people, even as she leads them as their Princess Priestess. She is an Elf. She keeps her hair in a style that always covers the points of her ears, but she can’t hide what she is from others like her.

Talus is one of the chosen, an Elven Prince who has earned the right to be part of the squadron of Elven/Dragon shifters that guard the Elven Empire. He, like his brethren, have been in Dragon form for too long, and have lost a part of his heritage to the character he becomes.

It takes one look for these two unlikely mates for them to recognize each other for what they are, Life Mates. The question is, can she tame his Dragon, or will she be bound to forever love half an Elf?

Review:

The Priestess by M.A. Abraham is the 3rd book in her Guardians of the Empire series.  Refresher: This series is set in the same world as Abraham’s wonderful Elven Chronicles series, but thousands of years after that series ended; with all surviving humans having been granted a land called The Valley, to live in peace and prosperity.  Over the years, these humans did not remember the Elves, who were in their own portal.  In the first two books of this series, we not only met three wonderful powerful female leaders, who play major parts in this series; with Chania and Serena having been the heroines; but the Elves will get to meet many of these humans, as well as having to fight against the evil in those lands.

Britallia, who is the priestess, is our heroine in this story, as she tries to avoid having contact with Talus, who is her lifemate.  Britallia thinks that being a priestess doesn’t allow her to have a relationship with her mate, but in time she will learn how wrong she was.  They did make a great couple

As this story is a continuation, I do feel the major character in this series is Gabriella, an Eagle Claw and descendant of Gabriel.  She is the General of the Elven Army, and a very powerful and fierce warrior. Gabriella will work closely with Chania and Britallia to help save some of the innocents under the regime of the evil King in The Valley.

Evart, who is the youngest son of the King, worked with them secretly to send his twin sister, Sonya to safety working with the powerful female Elves, and as the story comes close to the end, he helps send Alexis, a young woman he was in love with to join Sonya; leaving both of them broken hearted.  Will Evart be able to survive his father and brother’s wrath should they discover he was helping the Elves?

Another POV of this story, are the Guardians who are looking for their life mates.  As the story ends, we get to meet a new character who has been hiding behind a veil for many many years, which promises to be an excellent continuation in the next book.  The Priestess was an entertaining, fun, and serious story line, with a wonderful cast of characters.

With one glance the two lovers know they were meant to be. Yet, true to her Light Elven heritage, Matrium will fight the attraction, while Gaylon plays their song to guide her to his side.

This is their song.

Review:

An Elven Love Song by M.A. Abraham is a novella from her Guardians of the Empire series. An Elven Love Song is very difficult to write a review, since not only being a novella, but also saying too much would reveal the entire story line.

Gaydon, our hero, is an ancient elf and musician; he begins to have visions that he needs to leave the Empire and travel to the valley, where something awaits him. He trusts those visions are being sent by the Fates.  Gaydon has been around a long time and has given up on finding his mate.

Matrium, is an Elven princess, who loves the Valley, and she too gets vibes that something or someone is coming to their land.  As she senses the person coming is in bad shape due to the bitter cold in their land, and she rushes out to save him.

What follows is Gaydon, once recovered, sings his love songs to Matruim, showing her his feelings, and only she can hear him.  She enjoys spending time with Gaydon, and the wonderful things he does for everyone in the Valley.  But she worries, as she knows nothing about having a lifemate.  Matruim will learn more from her mother, and see Gaydon as she was meant to see…her Lifemate.

An Elven Love Song was a short sweet romance between two people that were chosen by the fates to find true love.  This was a fun, sweet story line that was also a fast read.

They are both surprised, when they meet face to face to find that they are life mates, but it is never that simple with a Light Elven maiden

Review:

The Princess by M.A. Abraham is the 2nd book in her Guardians of the Empire series. The Princess is set in the same world as Abraham’s wonderful Elven Chronicles series, with this taking place long after the finale, and with a different set of characters.  When that series ended, all surviving humans were granted a land called The Valley, where they were able to live prosperous and in peace.   Over the years, these humans did not remember the Elves, who were hidden and unseen in their portal.  In the first book, we met the Guardians of the Empire, with Chania and Daeron as our heroine/hero.

The Princess begins with Thieron, the right hand man of King Gerolth being sent to find the King’s daughter, Serena, Chania’s sister and our heroine in this book. When Thieron goes to the Valley, he is stymied by the young and older elves, who are protecting the whereabouts of Serena.  Serena and Chania are having fun and neither wants to go home. When he finally finds Serena, to his shock, he sees she is his lifemate.  From there on in, Thieron will follow Serena to protect her, as will his brother Daeron (who follows Chania), as they return to the Valley with King Gerolth, who is looking at caves that can fit all of these huge Dragon shifters.    But soon they will meet with the Valley King, Britallia, and others to prepare for another possible attack on the Valley.

Another side story surrounds the enemy from the first book, who plan another attack.  Evart, one of the princes, helps his sister, Sonja escape.  She has been kept hidden from his father and brothers, as woman are looked down on and easily killed.  When she reaches the Valley, she will reveal all the secrets, especially the new threat of war.  This will bring together all who fought in the previous books, such great characters, as Gabriella, Britallia, Chania and all of the Guardians of the Empire, many of whom are looking at the women who may be their lifemates.

What follows is a fun, humorous and interesting story , where we will follow these wonderful women, great warriors/dragons as they prepare once again for a major battle for survival.

This is a difficult review, as much of the story revolves around Serena and Chania with their lifemates, King Gerolth meeting the people from the Valley, and then bringing in High Lord General (Gabriella) as well as the Guardians as they start preparations that will continue in the next book.  The Princess was an entertaining, fun, and serious story line, with a wonderfuj cast of characters.  I for one I cannot wait to see what comes next.  I suggest you start with The Goddess, and then follow-up with The Princess.  Once again M.A. Abraham entertains us with another promising series.

Chania has lived most of her life in seclusion. She was placed amongst the humans that had once come to the aid of her ancestors, many millenniums before. She kept secreted by the head priestess, and revered as a Goddess by the people. She knows she is not what they think she is. She is an Elven Princess in hiding, and content to stay that way.

Daeron is an Elven/Dragon shapeshifter, who has served as second in command of the Guardians of the Elven Empire for a long time. He comes from a long line of Kings, and has proven himself worthy of his position of life. He is a proud, noble, Golden Dragon, when he is not an Elf. He is not so pleased with the sudden match making ambitions of his leader though, especially when he has been singled out to be mated with one of the leader’s daughters. He is not about to give in without a fight. He will not be used in this manner, not by anyone.

Captured by her father’s guardians and forced to his side, Chania, learns her fate. She is no happier about their upcoming nuptials than Daeron. They recognize the Life Bond they share, but under the circumstances, refuse to allow it to dictate their future. Can they fight an attraction that no Elf has ever been able to deny?

Review:

The Goddess by M.A. Abraham is the 1st book in her new Guardians of the Empire.  I have read every book by M.A. Abraham, and I continued to be amazed how her stories continue to get better and better, not to mention her wonderful imagination.  I am happy to say that The Goddess is the start of another great series that takes place in the same world, but of course a different time and characters .

The Goddess is set thousands years past the finale of the Elven Chronicles.  When that series ended, all surviving humans were granted a land called The Valley, where they were able to live prosperous and in peace.   Over the years, these humans did not remember the Elves, who were hidden and unseen in their portal.

Chania, our heroine, is the goddess, but she is also an oracle and a white dragon.  Chania is still young, and learning; but she does have visions and sees a war on the horizon.  Chania lives in the Valley (human territory) that is led by Britallia (High Priestess), who also has visions.  She protects Chania, who loves to shift to her white dragon.  One day she goes too far, and is caught by Gold Dragons, who will bring her home to the land of her father, where she will see her mother and sister, Serena again.  Seems her mother took the girls years before, because her lifemate, King Gerolth was acting like a dictator.  Now all three have returned, and the King is happy to have them back.  But the Gold Dragons are determined to keep an eye on the wild escapades of the girls.

Chania knows that with the war coming soon, she needs to return to the human world to help them fight off the enemy.  She makes plans with Serena to be prepared to escape within the next month or so.  But Daeron,a leader of the Gold Dragons, and who is a loner and arrogant, knows she is his lifemate and is determined to take her at any cost.  Chania feels the attraction and bond to Daeron, but he has  been possessive and domineering,  not like a  lifemate should be treated as an equal.  Her father, and his brother try to reason with Daeron and his dragon, but he only gets angry at them all, until Chania and Serena finally escape, with Serena going to the Elves for help.

We meet the new General of the Elven Army, Gabriella, who is an Eagle Claw and a descendant of Gabriel. She is a powerful and fierce warrior, who will take charge of the mission to help the humans, working closely with Britallia, and her warrior brothers, as well as Chania.

What follows is an exciting and wonderful adventure, where we will follow three of the most powerful women, and their great warriors/dragons to fight an enemy that has thousands of warriors more than they do.  But it was wonderful to see all the weapons the Elves will bring in: dragons, birds, sword wielding warriors,  thatchers; all the things we remember so well from the Elven Chronicles.

I do not want to say too much more, as you need to read this book, and meet all the fascinating characters Abraham has created for us to savior.  I loved Gabriella, Britallia and Chania.  For a bit, I was not a fan of Daeron, but closer to the end, changed for the better.  The Goddess was an entertaining, fun, exciting, suspenseful, lifemate romance, and a wonderfuj cast of characters.  I for one I cannot wait to see what comes next.  The Goddess by M.A. Abraham was a super start to this new series, which you should read.
