ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 15, 2024

I’m the Director of Haven, a newly established sanctuary for all the misused and mistreated humans that The Harem Project recovers from the Division of Silence. I have my hands full, trying to save as many lives as I can.

Then a chance meeting has me virtually running into the men that hold a piece of my heavenly soul and my world shifts. My sense of duty pulls me to focus on Haven, but my instincts insist I make these men mine.

Finding balance isn’t easy, but somehow I manage to find peace in both the professional and personal aspects of my life. I can do this. I can do good and make my home with these divine men.

My name is Tatum and I just joined an all out war with a family whose power is such a threat to the monsters of Silence that we’re nearly number one on their hit list. Instead of waiting for them to target our family, we just jumped into the massacre happening before us.

REVIEW:There were so many things happening and character crossovers in this book that I think it would be helpful to read the series in order.

There are a couple of triggers you need to aware of, so my advice is check the warnings for jumping in…..

This book is all about Tatum and her relationship with the Malak family. (It’s been the one I’ve wanted to read for a while, they have been mentioned a few times in previous books.)

Whilst learning about the men that will soon become her husbands, she is also working at The Harem Project. She’s working in the facility called Haven, and is on a project for the orphaned children that have lost family through the fight against The Silence and ORKA. (See, I told you there was lots going on.) She’s also looking after the women who were taken and impregnated and children who are the result of those unwanted pregnancies!

Tobiel/Aden/Cobalt/Hawthorn/Lazarus/Hadrian/Rahael are an established family, but they still long for their wife. And when Tobiel meets her, he wants to take her back to his home and introduce her to the rest of the family. But bumping into briefly and then not being able to find his angel (yes she’s an actual archangel) is frustrating Toby. And to make things worse, his husbands don’t seem to be in a rush to find her!

But when he finally meets her, it’s full steam ahead with the courtship ? he’s certain Tatum is the one. And Tatum is definitely interested in getting to know the Malak family.

In this book you also get a few questions answered from previous books. It really starts to come together.

The Silence and ORKA have been increasing their attacks on the families we’ve read about, but it’s the Division of Silence that have taken a darker turn! Using women and children in their fight to win against the “houses” and the “monsters” that live in this world! When I’m fact they are the monsters!

I don’t think it’s a smexy as previous books in the series, I got the feeling we are focusing on the storyline. It’s more of a slow burn this time and again as there are so many characters in this family (seven established if I remember correctly) pages seem to focus mainly on Tatum/Tobiel (which can be a blessing at times ?) but we get to meet and interact with the whole Malak family.

So when The Silence coordinates an attack on the families, will they be able to protect themselves and the children? Will they be able to fight back?

There is betrayal. Plot twists and catching up with previous houses. I really did enjoy reading this one.

Highly recommend you read in order then this one.

Crea lives in upstate New York with her dog and husband. She has been writing since grade school, when her second grade teacher had her class keep writing journals. She has a habit of creating secondary, and often time tertiary, characters that take over her stories. All of her RH relationships end up being heavily polyamorous – meaning it’s not just all the men for one woman. There’s also some M/M action going on. When she can’t fall asleep at night, she thinks up new scenes for her characters to act out. This, of course, is how most of her meant-to-be-thrown-away characters tend to end up front and center – and utterly swoon-worthy! Don’t ask her how many book boyfriends she has…

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 4, 2024

I thought I knew where I belonged. That I had found my happily ever after. Looking back, I was really just blissfully unaware of how unhealthy my family was.

Now I’m wandering the world, trying to find my place. Trying to heal my broken heart from a fate that no one could have predicted. The crushing blow was served to me by those who were supposed to love and support me for the rest of my life. That was the promise.

In the place I least expect it, I find solace. Companionship. And a fear so chilling, I’m frozen in place as everything is once again ripped from my hands.

My name is Iskander. All I want is to save the people who have claimed my fractured heart before it breaks for a second and final time.

•••••

REVIEW: Can’t think of a better way than starting my new year with one of my favourite author’s.

This book can be read on its own, but I’d recommend read at least the previous book. But as this this a great series why not start from the beginning…..

After meeting and falling for someone, for his family to reject him (and showing their true colours) Iskander is now on a journey to find not only himself, but answers to questions, and to maybe find a family that want him no matter…

This series is continually evolving and I love it. Yes it’s a #whychoose story, but it doesn’t revolve around just one person finding their pack, it’s got relationships within the family. It’s also heavy on MM (which I like) which I think this author has found her niche ?

Whilst travelling Iskander find families that are happy, and are happy to chat to Iskander, which compounds his belief that he did the right thing in leaving his family. And when he thinks he’s going to grow old alone, he meets the Kallan family. They show him the real meaning of family. Can he really trust his feelings? And what will he do when his new family disappears?

I just love this series, just when you think we can’t go any further, the author proves us wrong. The secret society OKRA are proving to be a vile and underhanded society, the things they’ve done to bring down the monsters (the only true monsters are the society itself!) The story tells of not settling for second best, to hold out for the happiness your deserved. And family doesn’t always mean blood.

It’s great that the houses in previous books are here to help. But can Iskander find his new family before the society claim another family?

It’s a highly recommended read from me. And if you haven’t read the previous books in the series, what are you waiting for?

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 19, 2023

Beware the fire for it burns.

It’s time to find my home. My family.

In a world where strength is hunted and those unlike the rest are sentenced to death, my kind are better off in groups. Fire is not something to dabble in and when given the right fuel, it can destroy anything.

Thus, we are public enemy number one in the world of supernaturals.

While investigating a connection between the Division of Silence and ORKA, monsters are also trying to find those responsible for giving humans magic with which they use to kill supernaturals. I’m in the middle of these investigations, even as I try to find my own happily ever after.

The Harem Project has my family. I’m sure of it. And when I meet the House of Agni, I know without a doubt that they are the matching flames to my fiery soul.

There’s just one problem – someone beat me to their hearts mere weeks before me.

My name is Zuri and I’m not sure I’m even going to get a happily for now, never mind a happily ever after. Especially not when monsters have just called an all out war on ORKA and I’m left wrecked for the family I was too late to claim.

REVIEW:Back to one of my favourite series and a firm favourite one click author.

The Harem project had just gone from strength to strength. Building a world full of large families that live/love and fight to keep that tradition going. Paranormal beings that are being persecuted by ORKA (an organisation that is slowly and systematically destroying anything or anyone that they deem “not normal”!) and don’t forget the organisation calling themselves The Silence!

Zuri is added to the family (almost as an afterthought) she’s added to the House of Agni, but Emrys is still finding his feet with the house, so I felt her story was ignored in favour of his! Her character is a great one, she’s fierce, intelligent and extremely independent.

Emrys is a character that you just want to cuddle and protect. He’s been lonely for so long, he’s given up hope of ever getting a family of his own. His life hasn’t been a happy one, so when he finds the House of Agni you can’t help but cheer.

I did get a little confused as the description on the back of the book lead me to believe it’s Zuri’s story, who in fact didn’t make an appearance till almost chapter 13 (40% of the book!) I think maybe it should have been focused on Emrys!)

This is book six in the series. You don’t need to read the previous books, but you’ll meet previous characters and there is an ongoing story, but the author gives you a quick rundown.

The Harem project are slowly connecting the dots between The Silence and OKRA! And it’s not a good connection! There is also a shock and a twist that I didn’t see coming!

As with the previous books you are treated to a smorgasbord of emotions. I love watching how an established unit have room in their hearts and lives for one or two more people. There are individuals that have connections with just each other, but they love as a whole. The banter is witty, and the fighting spirit is plenty, and they need all the help they can get. I like how they connect and interact with the other units/packs.

There are triggers in this book as there are in the series. So please read the warnings before reading the book.

I throughly enjoyed reading this book, and would recommend reading in order.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date March 16, 2023

There is beauty in a perfect storm – even in its violent destruction.
I’ve always been a part of the world of monsters. Storms thrive on the energy of other storms. In many ways, all monsters are perfect storms
That’s why they’re hunted.

Content with a life of work and friends, I somehow find myself falling for the eleven gorgeous storms of House Igarashi. Settling in with them is natural, as if I’ve always been missing these pieces and suddenly I can take a breath of fresh hair. And then the Division of Silence threatens to take it all away.

My name is Hadley. I am a lightning storm. If I lose even a single one of my men, I’m going to bring this world to its knees with blinding fury from the sky. This is a polyamorous story with content not intended for those under 18 years of age due to graphic scenes and situations.

••••••

REVIEW: This is the 4th book in The Harem Project series, and it sees the house of Igarashi longing for their last partner to complete their family. Most of the book revolves around Hadley and Bronte, we do get to see the others in this house, but mainly it’s those two we focus on.

Hadley is a great character, she’s feisty, she’s not shy in making sure she gets what she wants.

Bronte loves his job, helping families find their missing pieces. But as another family finds the last piece to their puzzle, it makes a point to Bronte, it just points out that they are missing a “wife”! He’s beginning to resent the other families their happiness! He’s convinced that the next person to walk through that door will be the one for them!

Getting to know the group of men in the Igarashi family, just seems so right, so natural. Hadley feels like she’s known them forever. Could it really be that easy? Not if the Division of Silence have anything to with it!

You don’t need to read this series in order, I’ve read one or two of these books out of order and it really doesn’t make a difference.

It does end on a cliffhanger, which is unusual for this author, but being a family of 12! I suppose it takes a little longer to tell this story. It it’s a cliffhanger ending that will have you wanting the next book NOW!

Another great book from one of my favourite authors. I loved Bronte and Hadley, I would have liked more page space with the other characters in the book, so I’m hoping book two will give them some pages.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 24, 2022

Monsters were real. And they were evil.

My husband had me convinced that we were ridding the world of those monsters. The horrors that prey on the innocent. The darkness that shouldn’t exist.

But then I saw that the true monster was my husband, and I ran.

I was brought to a safe house called The Harem Project. Here I found it in the five men of the House of Wyn. Five men who weren’t men at all. They threw a wrench in my contract but for some reason, I still agreed.

I’m finally learning to be happy. Learning the truth of what’s living in the open if I were only to properly look. Learning the truth about ORKA and the kind of man my ex-husband is. Learning that sometimes it takes five men to make you whole.

As it turned out, I didn’t run far enough. My ex found me and he wasn’t about to let me live. Now I’m in a cage with the promise of death looming over me.

My name is Jennings.

I’m human.

And I’m praying to whatever is out there that my new husbands can find me before my ex feeds me to something ORKA has been torturing for years. I hear it screaming down the hall and I swear, I can already feel it sucking on my soul.

This is a polyamorous story with content not suitable for those under 18 years of age due to graphic scenes and situations.

•••••

REVIEW: The house of Wyn is a continuation in the Harem series, I’ve not read the previous two but I don’t think I missed anything.

Jennings works with ORKA (an organisation which deals with monsters!)

She never thought she’d meet let alone work with monsters (although she deals with dead ones!) But her life revolves around her work now, she married the man who rescued her one night, and now it’s all she knows. But slowly Jennings discovers things around her that have her unsettled…..

Things come to a head when her husband tells her that they torture the monsters to learn more about their kind!

The house of Wyn is full of monsters, so Jennings does wonder if she’s left the frying pan and jumped onto the fire! Surely it’s not safe being around them? But the more Jennings interacts with the men of Wyn, the more she’s drawn to them…. All of them!

Lieke/Loyal/Meir/Ansel/Liev are the house of Wyn, they’ve been together for a while, but always searching for the last one to complete their family. And when Lieke first meets her, he’s struck by how he feels about, how protective he feels for the human female who’s come looking for sanctuary. But he’s going to have to go slow, he feels she’s scared and will need time to adjust.

Once they realise that Jennings is the one for them, nothing is going to keep them from claiming her.

But love isn’t always easy, so when her husband comes looking for her, she’s going to have be strong, and her new husbands will have a fight on their hands to keep her…..

I’m definitely interested in popping back to visit book one and two in the series.

A read I’d highly recommend. This author is becoming a favourite of mine, her works are just full of crazy/likeable/unstable characters. Her worlds are full of #whychoose themes. The men/monsters/demons aren’t always nice, but the ones that are, well they are just so protective and dominant ?
