ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 17, 2023

Two lost souls. A past that collides with the present. And secrets. So many secrets…
Unlike his two half brothers, Chance Bridger was raised on the family ranch with the father who left them billions. Still, he hated the man. He’s tried to escape his past, but that’s impossible, especially when it comes back to haunt him in the form of his first and only love.

Special Agent Avery Marsh left Bayfield at eighteen and never looked back, until a field assignment lands her back in her hometown fifteen years later. She’s taken care not to look into Chance Bridger, or even think about him. It would only lead to more heartache, and she’s had enough of that for one lifetime.

When the two former lovers cross paths, time melts away and their passion is still as intense as ever. But one is a murder suspect, and the other has a secret that could change everything.

The thrilling conclusion of The Billion Heirs!

•••••

REVIEW:The Billion Heirs series has returned with Broken, the final installment in this gripping series. As always I recommend reading a series in order, this one included, while Broken can be read as a standalone, the series in total makes much more sense.

Chance, Miles and Austin are strangers to one another until they find out they share a father in Jonathan Briger. After he dies, the new brothers learn that to inherit they must live together in Montana for a period of a year. Each brother has their own reasons for staying, and each book gives us their story. We’ve watched as Austin and Miles found what they were looking for, now it’s time for Chance.

Chance is the youngest of the brothers, and was also no stranger to Jonathan Briger. He technically was raised by the man, if what he did could be called child rearing. Their relationship was rocky at best. The only thing that got Chance through life was Avery Marsh. Or at least she was before she up and left him.

Broken is a second chance (no pun intended) romance filled with love, lies and secrets. When Avery returns to Bayfield for the first time in fifteen years, it’s not for fun, she’s here as a FBI agent investigating a death on Chance’s property. But being back is bringing long buried feelings to the surface, feelings that Chance can never know about. Things that Chance can never know about. As Avery digs into the case and secrets become known, the chemistry between the pair flair back to life. Can they let go of the past and move on to a better future? What happens when the case is over, will Avery stay and rebuild or run again?

These authors never disappoint! Broken was the perfect ending to an amazing series. Chance and Avery are a lovely pair that bring mystery and love to life. The brothers become just that through the series, brothers and family.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 15,2022

The bad boy brother. The by-the-books detective. A random meeting that will change their lives.

Miles Bridger would rather be home in New York than stuck on a Montana ranch with his newfound half brothers, thanks to his deadbeat dad’s will. Miles now works with bulls and hay bales instead of custom bikes. He keeps his sense of humor about the whole thing…until a dead body surfaces on the ranch and he and his brothers are thrown headfirst into a murder investigation.

Sadie Hopkins plays by the rules in her job as detective, so she’s only too happy to turn a little naughty during a bachelorette party dare. Heat flares between Sadie and the gorgeous blond man she approaches, but when a high-profile case crosses her desk the next day, she’s in for a surprise. The man from the bar is none other than Miles Bridger…and he’s a murder suspect.

Despite this revelation, Miles and Sadie’s chemistry sizzles. But the flawed Miles doesn’t do relationships, and Sadie’s past crashes into the present with a surprising discovery that could spell danger for both of them.

REVIEW:When these two authors get together, it is always a fabulous time! Flawed is the second installment in The Billion Heirs Trilogy and surrounds three newly found brothers, Miles, Austin and Chance. As always, I recommend reading a series in order to get the best out of it, but Flawed can be read as a standalone.

This book gave all the feels of a small town romance, but with underlying tones of bad boy with a heart of gold romance, but maybe that was just me.

Miles’ life has been turned on its axis. One moment he is living his best life doing what he loves in the hustle and bustle of New York, to rural no man’s land of Montana herding bull and shovelling poo. Thanks to his “never gave a crap” sperm donor, Miles now finds himself with three new step brothers and his life going in a completely different direction than he thought.

In an attempt to clear his head, Miles hops on his latest motorcycle and takes a ride. This leads him to a meet cute with a woman he can’t seem to help not talking to. One thing leads to another, and she ends up on the back of his bike. When morning comes, Miles still can’t get the woman out of his mind, even if she left his bed. Miles returns to what has become his life, only to find that a body has been found on their property. And who is the one to investigate this?

The girl from the bar. She’s a cop, she’s here in his home. What does he do?

This book totally has it all, mystery, excitement, spicy bits and sarcasm too. Sadie and Miles light up the pages with their chemistry and the family drama is no laughing matter either. Two of the three brothers have found love on the ranch. Only Chance is left, and boy oh boy, I can’t wait for his story!!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 11, 2022

He’s inherited billions, but he must leave his home and family to claim it.
She’s no longer a captive, yet will she ever be free?
Austin Bridger is struggling to keep his seaplane business afloat and help his ailing mother. When his father, who never acknowledged his existence, dies, he leaves his billions to Austin and his two half brothers. The catch? To receive the inheritance, they must all live on his father’s Montana ranch for a year. To Austin, the money’s tainted, but because he desperately needs every dime, he has no choice but to leave Seattle.

Carly Vance was a student in veterinary school when her dream was shattered. Abducted from a diner in her small town, she was held captive on a South Pacific island for three years. Now she’s home, but her scars run deep. Trying to reclaim her life, she bravely takes a job in Bridger Ranch’s stables.

Sparks fly when Carly crosses paths with Austin, but they both hold secrets—secrets that could keep them apart forever.

REVIEW: “I…I don’t have a home.”

“I don’t have one either, But baby, I think I just realized that home isn’t a place. It’s a person. And my home’s with you.”

Excuse me while I go sob into a dark corner. Helen Hardt and Vanessa Vale have taken their talents to the next level with their newest series. Scarred is a tale of light and dark, family and fear, betrayal and hope and loss and love. The first in the new series, Scarred offers a beautiful journey with amazing characters.

All Austin wants to do is help his sickly mother and save his flight business. He does nothing but work and tries his best, but nothing ever seems to give enough for him to move forward. When he finds out that the father that never wanted him left him an inheritance, he sees a faint hope that life is looking up. Too bad to gain the billions that the old man left, he has to go live in the middle of nowhere Montana on his father’s ranch. Best of all that also includes meeting and then living with two brothers as well. With his mother getting worse and no end in sight, Austin has no choice but to take the chance.

Little did he know what was waiting for him.

Carly used to be a normal college student, she came and went to classes, went to parties with her friends, that was until she was abducted from a small town diner. Three years later, she’s home, but not unscathed, she has scars. One that you can see, and ones you can’t. Determined to find some sense of normalcy, she takes a job at Bridger Ranch in the stables where there aren’t many people and she can help the animals. When she meets Austin all her plans fly out the window. Sparks and feelings she thought were long dead rise to the surface, but can she let her past go long enough to let Austin in.

Austin and Carly are like a balm to each other, neither believing that the past they each carry would allow them happiness. Nonetheless, on the ranch they find more than just each other, they find family.

Oh how I loved this read. It was so soulful, Vale and Hardt sure know how to tug on the heartstrings. I loved Carly and Austin together, but also how their brothers bond and come to love each other. That is family, no matter where they come from. I can’t wait to see what brother is coming next.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 27, 2022

The Steel family won’t go down on his watch…

Rory Pike never imagined she’d fall for a Steel, but she has—Brock Steel, a renowned womanizer, no less. While passion flares between them, Rory knows they’re on different pages in life. She’s older and ready to settle down. Brock? Not so much.

Brock is enamored with Rory, but he’s content to simply live in the moment, especially with everything that’s currently going down in his personal life. Brock’s discovery that his father has kept important information from him—information that could lead to the downfall of his famous family—leads him to question everything he’s known since he was a child.

Rory has her own problems as well, and when they converge with Brock’s in the form of one person, the mysteries surrounding the Steel family deepen. Rory and Brock are determined to find the truth…no matter what the cost.

•••••••

REVIEW:If this series actually ever ends, I think I truly won’t know what to do. Flare is the next installment in the never ending, amazingness that is the Steel Brothers saga. The book can be read in a standalone, or in series order, but be warned, there are quite a few in the series. -Giggle-

Brock Steel, womanizer extraordinaire won’t be tied to one woman, he’s not like the rest of his family. Rory however, is the exception to that. Feeling more confused and discombobulated than he ever has before after the bomb that his father dropped on him, Brock finds himself re-evaluating his family, his relationships with them, and what he thought his future was going to be. But not Rory. Rory however, never thought she would fall for Brock, he’s the biggest playboy and never seems to take anything serious. However, their connection isn’t something she can ignore anymore.

Brock and Rory have such a strong intense connection, their chemistry was absolutely breathtaking. They struggle to find their footing in what they have duped as a “relationship”, but the secrets that continue to be uncovered challenge them at every turn. With the help of Jonah, Talon, Dale and Callie, they slowly start to unveil secrets, but that just leaves them with more and more questions. Flare was everything I wanted it to be and more, suspenseful, exciting and oh so spicy. Even though the series spans more than twenty books, I always find myself waiting with bated breath for the next one to release.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date

Powerful and enigmatic billionaire Braden Black doesn’t do relationships. He doesn’t fall in love. But ever since meeting Skye Manning, he’s breaking every one of his careful rules. He just can’t get enough of her fierce independence and the white-hot sizzle of attraction between them. Of course, there are still lessons Skye has yet to learn…

Only Braden isn’t sure Skye is ready. Falling in love is one thing. Inviting her completely into his world—and the reality of his darker, most forbidden appetites—is quite another. It’s about trust. His and hers. But his past mistakes are catching up with them both. And Braden is running out of time to show Skye the things she’s never imagined…and have only just begun.

•••••••

REVIEW:Have you ever wanted to get into the mind of someone you have fantasies about? Wanted to know how they thought, what they were thinking? Well I sure have, and with Braden Black.

Under is Follow Me Under book two in the series, but from Braden’s point of view. We get everything, and by everything, I truly do mean everything. Under continues from where Darkley left off, the couple is now official and have admitted to each other that they love one another.

Braden’s issues continue to pop up, but they feel so much more intense in his POV. We get more of his past and his reasons for his hard limits, Skye continues to push through limits, out of love, but still a push. All Braden wants is Skye’s trust, but there is always something. The book as a whole is so intense, there is just more of everything. More turmoil, more chemistry, more sexyiness, more angst. MORE. I have loved reading this series, but getting Braden’s POV was something I didn’t even know I was missing, but something I will always go back for a reread. Now that the series is finished, you best believe I’m doing a full reread.

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N / KOBO / Chapters Indigo / Google Play /Apple /

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 28, 2022

She’s on the rebound, and he’s on the prowl.

Aurora “Rory” Pike gave up her dream of becoming an opera superstar long ago. Now she’s content to teach music to the children of Snow Creek while helping her family recover from the wildfire that devastated them. After a messy breakup and a ghost from the past resurfacing, she’s examining her priorities…and they don’t include a passionate kiss from womanizer Brock Steel.

Brock Steel just watched his skirt-chasing mentor—his cousin Donny—give up his playboy ways and fall hard for Callie Pike, sister of Rory Pike, the most beautiful woman in Snow Creek. Rory just ended a relationship, and Brock makes sure he’s there to pick up the pieces. Physically, that is. Emotionally? Brock doesn’t do emotion.

Chemistry between Brock and Rory proves to be hotter than either of them imagined, and it provides a welcome respite, especially for Brock, who’s dealing with a conundrum. As bits and pieces of seemingly unrelated evidence emerge, he must come to terms with the fact that his renowned family may not be the paragon he thought they were.

•••••

REVIEW:No one does a series quite like Ms.Helen. Just when I thought I had the Steel boys figured out, they go and surprise me all over again. Smolder is the 22nd, yes that’s right, the 22nd book in the Steel Brothers Saga, and this one has all the ANGST. As this book is so far into the series, I do recommend reading them in order, or at least the last few. There are enough details given in Smolder to not leave a newbie reader lost, but the series is amazing and you get more out of the book with previous reads.

Rory is on the rebound after ending a not so great relationship. When this happens, reality strikes, and Rory starts to put her life into perspective. She had to give up her dream of becoming an opera singer, but she won’t give up on the next thing she wants. And that’s a baby. Maybe being known as the most beautiful woman in Snow Creek won’t be a hassle anymore, and finding the right baby daddy won’t be as hard as finding someone to spend her life with.

Just as things start to go right for Rory, the Pike’s sisters’ past comes barreling through the lives they have built. Can Callie and Rory figure it out? Will the secrets overcome them?

Right?

Brock Steel has watched family member after family member fall to relationships and marriage. Known for his womanizing single ways, it’s never bothered him, until now. As things start to uncover and the “bones” surface, the Steel trio slowly unearth long forgotten secrets. With all this going on, Brock still can’t deny the attraction he has with Rory.

All it takes is one kiss, one that they both know will never be enough. One kiss that ignites their passion, neither can deny what they want any longer, but are they ready for what’s to come. Brock might be the best looking man in Snow Creek but does that make him daddy material? Does he even want kids? What about all his secrets?

Take a deep breath and ready yourselves readers, Smolder is an all nighter read, and one that I guarantee you won’t be able to put down. It’s sexy, mysterious and oh so much angst, Rory and Brock ignite on the pages and have readers begging for more!

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N / KOBO / Chapters Indigo / Google Play / Apple /

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 24, 2022.

They’re in love…and in danger.

Donny Steel lives a charmed life. He’s a successful attorney, in love with the woman of his dreams, and a member of the Steel family. But while Snow Creek’s golden family seems perfect on the outside, how many skeletons lurk in the Steel closet? Each day, Donny finds more and more evidence of foul play while dredging up his own past—something better left forgotten.

Callie Pike never imagined Donny Steel could fall in love with her, and she desperately wants to revel in their blazing passion. If only her own past hadn’t returned to torment her. Why now? What does it all mean? Is it somehow related to the attempt on Talon Steel’s life? Or the fire that destroyed her family’s livelihood?

As scattered pieces of evidence crop up in unlikely places, Donny and Callie work to find the common thread to pull everything together. But someone clearly wants to destroy them, and laws, ethics, and locked doors don’t seem to be standing in the way.

••••••

REVIEW: I don’t think I have ever been so invested in a series before. The Steel Brothers Saga spans years of publications and generations in the series itself. Blaze is book twenty one in that series, and boy is it a winner.

Donny Steel is a man with a past, but one he tries to not let taint his future. He is more lighthearted and easy going than most of the guys I’ve read in the Steel series, and that was a welcome reward. There is so much to this book, and even more to the series, Donny, tries as he might, can’t get the ring out of his head. There is something else going on, and until he figures it out, moving on is going to have to wait. Callie has her own problems, her own past to deal with, but Donny is important to her enough to try again. Now with a new threat to her and her sister Callie is even more determined to solve the mystery and bring herself some happiness with Donny.

I can’t even describe how interesting and exciting this series is. Every time I finish one book, I look forward to the next one even more. The plot is so amazing, the characters are so intriguing, and the spicy bits will definitely keep a reader awake at night. LOL. The Steel family is all drama, all the time, but the people are just crazy enough to make me come back for more. There is always another clue, another mystery to solve, it’s addicting to read. Way to go HH for another great release!

Flame (Steel Brothers 20) by Helen Hardt-Review Tour

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N / KOBO / Chapters Indigo / Google Play /Apple /

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 28, 2021.

Her past is coming back to haunt her. His present is haunting him.

Callie Pike always considered herself the plain sister—stuck in the middle between beautiful Rory and vivacious Maddie—so she still can’t believe gorgeous perennial bachelor Donny Steel has fallen in love with her. She should be the happiest woman on the planet, and she is…but her nemesis from ten years ago seems intent on destroying her newfound bliss.

Donny Steel will do anything to protect his family, even sacrifice his ethics and his own happiness. As much as he loves Callie, he knows he can’t be the man she deserves—not until he solves the mysteries of his family’s past and finds out who shot his father.

Though the two erupt in flames whenever they’re together, the secrets they both harbor could destroy any chance for a future together.

•••••••

REVIEW:All consuming.

Flame is the twentieth installment of Helen Hardt’s Steel Brothers Saga, but also part two for Donny and Callie. Like most of the Steel brothers books this one involves family, love, mystery and secrets. It’s recommended to read the books in order to get the most out of them, but I promise, as soon as you start, you won’t be able to put them down.

I feel like Flame focuses more on Callie and Donvans relationship than anything else, but I’m not complaining about it. The steamy scenes are spicy, spicy, spicy, and really push Callie out of her comfort zone. While Callie starts to build a future with Donny, she still holds fears that he will one day find out her secrets, and leave her when he does. Donny on the other hand is on a search of his own, the search for a murder. The plot thickens, and just when you think you’ve figured out what is going on, that you have all the answers…

BAM! A new twist!

Just wow, I can’t get enough of this series! Callie and Donny’s story left off on such a cliff hanger last time and I was dying to get back to it. Helen Hardt sure doesn’t let her readers suffer. Callie and Donny have a love that girls dream of finding, they will literally do anything to protect the other, even if they don’t agree with it. *Swoon* Flame will keep you engaged and hopeful, eagerly waiting for the next moment to happen. I can’t wait to see where this mysterious, heart pounding, romantic drama leads us next.
