This is thirty three year old hockey player Hollis Hendrix, and twenty-one year old, university student Peggy Aurora Hammerstein. IF YOU WANT ME can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Aurora and Hollis) IF YOU WANT ME follows the age-gap, father’s best friend relationship between our story line couple. Aurora Hammerstein is the daughter of Toronto Terror goalie Roman Hammerstein, and has been a team princess all of her life but Aurora has had a crush on her father’s teammate Hollis Hendrix since Hollis’ trade seven years earlier. Hollis and Roman are best friends, travel roommates and professional teammates and in this Hollis struggles with his attraction to our story line heroine but Aurora is always in Hollis’ orbit, and when Hollis is injured, Aurora becomes his nurse and lover without looking back. Trying to keep their relationship a secret is about to implode, and Hollis believes he may have lost more than his best friend but the woman he loves.

The world building is detailed and follows Aurora as she navigates her feelings for her father’s best friend. Knowing to lie to her father will break his heart but Aurora knows that Hollis is her own happily ever after. As Hollis battles between head and hear knowing he is about to destroy a friendship, our hero is willing to walk away in the face of their secrets and lies.

The relationship between Hollis and Aurora is a best friend’s daughter , forbidden relationship. Roman Hammerstein has forbidden his daughter from dating any and all hockey players but especially in the face of his own experiences when he was too young to understand. As Aurora and Hollis’ relationship moves into something more, Hollis must come to terms with his own injuries, and the love of a woman he has been forbidden to love. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting character including many of whom we met in the previous story line. We are reintroduce to Bea and Tristan (If You Hate Me), Dallas Bright, attorney Ashish Palaniappa, Flip Madden (Bea’s brother), PR manager Willy, Hemi, Dred, as well as Hollis’ ex Scarlet Reed, and Aurora’s mother.

Tristan Stiles is best friends/roommates and plays for the same team as his best friend Phillip ‘Flip’ Madden, and the arrival of Flip’s sister Beatrix sets off a storm of reactive issues for our story line hero. Beatrix and Flip grew up in a loving albeit a family that struggled to make ends meet, and in this Beatrix was always the third wheel whenever Tristan and Flip were together but the loss of her job, and a pair of contemptible roommates finds Beatrix couch surfing with her brother and Tristan for the forseeable future. Miles doesn’t do cats, is always on the road with the team, but something about Kitty pulls at our hero’s heart. The secondary and supporting characters are colorful and energetic. We are introduced to Kitty’s sister Hattie, and their mother Lucile Hart, as well as Kitty’s best friend Kat; Mile’s mother; and his friends/ members of the team Josh, Austin, and Parker O’Toole.

A LOVE CATASTROPHE is a meet-cute story, a romantic comedy with some series undertones including dementia and death, guilt and regret. The premise is heart warming and captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are dynamic and determined.

With the hopes of a children’s centre and birthday party event house, Harley’s plans are rejected, and she finds herself at a stalemate with her future going forward. The return of Gavin and his daughter Peyton pulls Harley into the family she once loved and adored but there may be an underlying issue for the man with whom Harley is falling in love. Gavin Rhodes has yet to move forward from the loss of his wife, and in his grief has allowed external forces to control the who, what and how of his nuclear family. Renewing his friendship with Peyton pushes Gavin outside of his current comfort zone, a friendship that quickly turns into something more.

The relationship between Gavin and Harley is one of second chances, of a sorts; a rebuilding friendship wherein Harley is unable to see past the obvious, and Gavin continues to hide behind a wall of grief, guilt and loss. MAKE A WISH is an emotional story of grief and loss, guilt and struggle, acceptance and love, family, friendships and moving forward. The premise is impassioned and touching; the romance is seductive but heart breaking; the characters are struggling, determined and real.

This is twenty-six year old Teagan Firestone, and twenty-seven year old, handyman/carpenter Aaron Sanders’ story line. LOVE ON THE LAKE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Told from dual first person perspectives (Teagan and Aaron) LOVE ON THE LAKE follows the building romance and relationship between twenty-six year old Teagan Firestone, and twenty-seven year old, handyman/carpenter Aaron Sanders. Teagan Firestone has stayed home to be with her widowed father but her father has found love a second time, and it is time for Teagan to move on with her life. Enter handy man/construction worker Aaron Sanders, who is often contracted by Teagan’s sister in law for redesign and work. The relationship between Teagan and Aaron begins acrimoniously as Aaron is immediately put out by our story line heroine but working five jobs, Teagan is a constant reminder of what he wants but cannot have. Both Teagan and Aaron are struggling, a struggle that is about to push Aaron out of Aaron’s life-plenty of . The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Teagan’s brother Donovan “Van” Firestone and his fiancee Dillion Stritch, their father and his girlfriend Danielle; Aaron’s friend Lydia and her son Jamie, as well as his parents Arnie and Noreen.

LOVE ON THE LAKE is a story of secrets and lies, family and friendships, relationships and love. The premise is heart breaking, emotional and real; the romance is captivating; the characters are energetic, sassy and flawed.

She crooks a finger, beckoning me closer. But there’s only six inches separating us. If I take a step forward, my boots will touch her toes. So I bend instead, until my ear is next to her lips, like I’m waiting for her to tell me a secret.
For a moment I consider the fact that I’ve been up and down the stairs to the loft at least a dozen times. The only air circulation in here is from a portable fan, so I’ve been sweating and shirtless for several hours. I might not smell all that fresh.
But that thought disappears when her fingertips drag along my collarbone and I feel the warmth of her breath at the edge of my jaw.
“Aaron.”
Her palm wraps around the back of my neck. So soft. So warm.
I swallow and grind out, “I’m listening.”
Her thumb finds that spot between my ear and my jaw, and she presses, gently at first and then more firmly. Her lips brush the shell of my ear, and she whispers, “Look at me.”
I feel like a marionette, and she’s pulling all my strings. I turn my head toward her, and her lips brush across my cheek, sending a hot shiver down my spine, lighting me up like a pinball machine.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Declan and Avery) WHEN SPARKS FLY follows the friends to lovers relationship between PR /event planner and co-owner of Spark House Hotel/Event space Avery Spark, and business consultant Declan. Declan and Avery have been best friends since college, and currently share a condo as roommates and best friends but a fatal traffic accident has left Avery dependant upon her best friend for help with the simplest of tasks including mobility and bathroom breaks. Weeks together finds our couple dancing around the proverbial ‘elephant in the room’ pushing their relationship from best friends to more but jealousy is about to rear its’ ugly green head, and the fall-out is about to disrupt a life-long friendship, and a growing love between our leading couple. Declan doesn’t do relationships, our hero is a bit of a manwh*re, but his heart wants something more with our story line heroine, something he struggles to accept and understand. Avery knows falling for her best friend places their friendships in a precarious position, a position that is about to be tested with demons from the past. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and dynamic secondary and supporting characters including Avery’s sisters London and Harley, and Declan’s best friends Mark and Jerome. Here’s hoping the author has plans for London and Harley, as well as Mark and Jerome.

WHEN SPARKS FLY is a story of family, friendships, betrayal issues of trust, forgiveness and love. This is NOT a story of cheating or infidelity as some ‘reviewers’ have claimed it to be. Our couple begins as best friends and roommates with neither one making a commitment to one another but jealousy will become the starting point for a crack in the relationship that may not be able to heal. Both Declan and Avery are somewhat immature and selfish but it doesn’t help that their friends and family pick at the scab that refuses to heal. Issues of trust have been a part of Declan for all of his life, and Avery was betrayed by a former love. The premise is engaging, entertaining and captivating; the romance is sexy and hot; the characters are energetic, flawed and playful.
