ANTOINETTE
Axel Fontaine has a giant…
At least that’s what everyone says. Unfortunately, it’s true.
All. Of. It.
He’s dangerous, scary, and addictive. Without a doubt, the last person I should fall for is the VP of the Disciples MC.
I’m out of my league.
He’s a six-foot-four, blue-eyed biker god.
I’m an ex-ballerina turned stripper who should run away.
But how do you escape the one man who ignites your body and consumes your very soul?
Axel doesn’t do relationships. But I’m betting on ME to change his mind.

AXEL
I don’t do relationships. I don’t do drama, and I definitely don’t do love.
I’m not Prince Charming. I’m the VP of the Disciples and the club is my family.
The last thing I need is a violet-eyed enchantress who smells like candy and has some sort of voodoo chemistry that’s messing with my mind.
She needs to go.
She’s a distraction…a weakness I can’t have.
Men like me fall in lust, not love.
So, why is she still here?

REVIEW:  IGNITE is the fourth instalment in Cassandra Robbins’ contemporary, adult THE DISCIPLES erotic, MC romances series focusing on the members of the Disciples MC. This is thirty-three year old, club VP Mitchell ‘Axel’ Fontaine, and nineteen year old, ballerina Antoinette Van Doran’s story line. IGNITE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

WARNING : IGNITE contains strong language that may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Axel and Antoinette) IGNITE follows Antoinette Van Doran as she struggles to make ends meet. Desperate for money, Antoinette auditions for a position as an erotic dancer at the Disciples owned Pussycat Club but her naivete and innocence is a target for the lecherous and cruel. Filling in for the Pussycat Club manager, the Disciples VP Mitchell ‘Axel’ Fontaine finds himself pulled towards our story line heroine, over protective and desperate to get her out of the life. What ensues is the highly sexual relationship between Axel and Antoinette, and the potential fall out as the past comes seeking revenge, focusing his anger on our story line heroine.

Axel doesn’t do relationships and in this struggles with his attraction and need for our story line heroine. Claiming ownership of Antoinette from the very start, Axel quickly discovers there is more to Antoinette than meets the eye. Antoinette Van Doran has been on her own for close to four years, and is struggling to make ends meet. One roommate disappears, while another is on a six month assignment, and Antoinette finds herself homeless with no place to live. A job as a stripper could earn Antoinette big money but Axel refuses to let Antoinette get up on stage.

The relationship between Axel and Antoinette is one of immediate attraction but Axel doesn’t do relationships and continues to reinforce the mantra at every chance he gets. Antoinette is slowly falling for the man that has claimed her heart but quickly discovers that Axel doesn’t feel the same, in return. The $ex scenes are aggressive, erotic, provocative and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters many of who we have me in previous story lines. Most of the MC is protective of our heroine but Axel’s enemies have placed a target on our story line heroine.

IGNITE is a gritty, impassioned and raw story of family, friendships, and love. The premise is intense ; the romance is tangible; the characters are dynamic and edgy

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release April 2019

ebook ONLY 99¢ Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / Amazon.uk / Amazon.au /

Blade McCormick is not a nice guy.

He’s pure adrenaline and smells like smoke and leather—the kind of guy you look at and know he’s going to be a combination of nasty and irresistible. The moment I allowed myself to touch his hot skin and kiss his full lips, I. Was. Done.

Like currency, I’ve become part of a transaction. Blade took me to pay off a debt. I try to tell myself, Eve, you should hate him. He’s a bad guy. But then again, I’m not a good girl. Blade’s the president of the Disciples, the notorious motorcycle club. I should be frightened, yet somehow, he doesn’t scare me. If anything, I think I scare him.

It takes a lot of work to become the club’s Queen, but I’ll stop at nothing to have the King!

•••••••••

REVIEW:LETHAL is the first instalment in Cassandra Robbins’ contemporary, adult THE DISCIPLES erotic, MC, romance series focusing on the members of the Disciples MC. This is club president Jason ‘Blade’ McCormick, and carnie Eve Smith’s storyline.

WARNING: LETHAL contains graphic language and text that may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Blade and Eve) LETHAL follows the building relationship between the Disciples MC president Jason ‘Blade’ McCormick, and carnie Eve Smith. Eve’s brother Bennie owes the Disciples MC a lot of money, and our heroine Eve Smith is about to be the down payment for a debt owed. Told she would be one of the club ‘whores’ Eve struggles with the possibility that her life is about to spiral out of control until club president Blade McCormick brands our heroine as his own but nothing goes smoothly for our leading couple as Eve battles between head and heart knowing she is but one of many, and nothing more than a payment for drugs. What ensues is the building but acrimonious relationship between Blade and Eve, and the potential fall-out as the club’s drug making business is about to become dangerous and deadly.

Blade McCormick doesn’t do relationships, and finds himself caught between wanting Eve Smith, and trying to remain in control but the club’s dalliances with drug manufacturing is about to involve law enforcement and a potential problem on the inside, a problem that is not willing to go quietly.

The relationship between Blade and Eve begins as a business transaction; a payment for debt against Eve’s brother Benny, and at times Eve feels the weight of that debt believing she is nothing more than collateral damage. As Blade demand obedience and control, Eve continues to push the president’s buttons, and in doing so finds herself falling in love with a man who refuses to admit he as fallen for her. The $ex scenes are aggressive, erotic and intense.

We are introduced to the Disciples MC including VP Axel Fontaine, MC treasurer Edge Daniels, and Dolores ‘Dolly’ Dunghart, Dolly’s co-worker Doug; club cook Amy, prospect Dewey, club enforcer Ryder, Ox, Dozer, bar manager Derrick; Eve’s father James and her brother Benny; club medic Doc, and his wife Sandy; club whore Crystal, and Blade’s mother Leah.

LETHAL is a story of family and brotherhood; of betrayal and lies; relationships and love. The premise is gritty ; the characters are brash and shameless; the romance is combative and struggles in the face of mistrust, reputation and hurt.

I don’t apologize or regret the destruction I’m about to cause. I’m at peace with what I must do… nothing can or will stand in my way. Not even the raven-haired beauty with golden eyes who haunts my dreams.

No one is innocent in the story of my life. Fairy tales don’t exist!

I. Make. No. Excuses.

Everyone needs to atone, and I’m the man who is going to see to it.

••••••••

This is club historian David aka ‘Poet’ , and diner owner Charlize aka ‘Charlie’s’ story line. ATONE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Walking away from the Disciples was one of the hardest things David had to endure but his return came with a need for vengeance and retribution for the people he lost but David never expected to come face to face with former diner waitress Charlie, the woman he was with when his life went to h*ll. Battling between head and heart, David’s need for Charlie is something he cannot explain but his need for revenge overpowers the growing love for the woman that has stolen his heart. What ensues is the building relationship between David and Charlie, and the potential fall-out as David’s vengeance comes to fruition but with it another spiral out of control for our story line hero.

David lost everything he cared about nine years earlier, and with it he buried what as left of his heart. Having always focused on diner waitress turned owner Charlize gave David thoughts for a new direction in life but David believes he is unworthy of love, and refuses to pull Charlie into the lifestyle of the Disciples MC. Charlie struggled in the years that David went missing having never forgiven herself for what happened the last time they were together but the years only cemented David’s need for revenge, and Charlie’s love for a man who disappeared without a trace.

The relationship between David and Charlie is one of immediate attraction but David’s return following nine years away is met with both love and hate from his family, friends and the woman with whom he will fall in love. Refusing to accept that he is worthy of love, David continues to push away the woman he desperately craves to guide him through the dark. The $ex scenes are intimate, aggressive, powerful and erotic.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we have met in the introductory story line. We are introduced to Charlie’s mother, and her co-worker/best friend Cindy.

ATONE is a story of betrayal and vengeance; dysfunctional relationships; drug addiction, survival and falling in love. The premise is heart breaking and dark; the romance is provocative and edgy; the characters are broken, animated and desperate. ATONE end on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date May 15, 2020.

There are two sides to every story.

I fell in love with a redheaded boy, a boy who was kind and good.

Until he wasn’t.

He broke my heart once, twice… I’ve lost count. Like a dark god, he haunts me. He smells like smoke and cinnamon, with danger seeping from every pore. He is my savior, my lover, exciting and addictive.

I should’ve seen it coming…

Never trust a Disciple. You have to sell your soul to the devil to get one to love you. I would.

I did.

My name is Dolores Dunghart and I might have done the unforgivable.

I don’t care if you judge me… I’ve judged myself.

But this is how we live.

And this is our love story.

Edge and Dolly forever

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 13, 2020

Bossy, protective bad boy biker Mammoth Saint always thought he’d be member of the Disciples MC…until he laid eyes on her.

Tamara Gallo has always been headstrong, sassy, and never afraid to speak her mind, even when it comes to her hottie biker boyfriend and his brothers in the MC.

But when Mammoth’s ready to sever ties from the club for good, choosing love over the brotherhood, until someone from his past shows up and needs his protection, threatening his freedom along with their future.

♥ Happily Ever After—YES!
♥ Swoon-Worthy—Heck, YEAH!
♥ NO Cliffhanger

If you love a loyal biker, a strong heroine, steamy swoony romance, and witty laugh-out-loud banter…this book is for you.

•••••••••

REVIEW:Ignite by Chelle Bliss is the fifth book in the Men of Inked: Heatwaves Saga. I 100% recommend reading this series in its intended reading order, I feel like you need to do this seeing as this story is a continuation of Wild Fire, the third in the series. There is so much that happens in this book that if readers are unfamiliar with the story or characters, they may not know who some people are and become confused.

We meet Tamara and Mammoth in Wildfire, we see how they start their adventure together, and in Ignite we get to see them find their happily ever after. I so enjoyed reading about them in their first book, and Tam is a hoot all on her own. She’s a Gallo and that says it all. Tamara in this story and her emotions are so real, she’s so strong all the time, but in Ignite you see her shell crack just a little. Of course Mammoth is there to make it all better, but she worries about him and the life they want to start together. The club is important to them both, but once a member always a member. Tamara and Mammoth must navigate choppy waters to find their safe harbor on the other side.

Chelle Bliss is a genius when it comes to writing hot, over the top alpha’s and the woman they fall for. This series is such a fun, happy read and I would give it 4.5 stars for sure! Congrats to the author for another great release!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date April 30, 2019

Every inch of him was molded as if from granite…and her blood ran like fire…

For centuries, V has waited to awaken from his doomed sleep and reclaim his destiny. But this Dragon King–one among a legion of legendary warriors sworn to protect the human race from darkness–must first find a way to win back his sword. Wield its power. And try not to fall prey to his own illicit desires.

Claire may possess the beauty and soul of a goddess but V knows better than to mess with a mere mortal. Still, he instinctively knows that Claire is The One who can help him regain the use of his sword and restore his place at Dreagan. But if she learns the truth about who–and what–he really is, her memories of him would be erased forever. How can V love Claire truly, madly, deeply…and protect her from the forces of fire and darkness that could destroy them both?

•••••••••

REVIEW: IGNITE is the fifteenth full-length instalment in Donna Grant’s contemporary, adult DARK KINGS paranormal, fantasy romance series focusing on the Dragon Kings and the women they love. This is copper dragon V aka Vlad, and registered nurse Claire. IGNITE should not be read as a stand alone as the current story lines continue to follow an ongoing series arc.

SOME BACKGROUND: The DARK KINGS is a spinoff from Donna Grant’s DARK WARRIOR series which in turn is a spin off from Donna’s DARK SWORD series- all set in the Highlands of Scotland. The Dark Fae and their King Taraeth, along with the Silver Dragon Mikkel have declared war on the Dragon Kings by exposing the dragon’s existence to humankind. The last wars between man and the world of the paranormal saw a great loss of life on all sides but someone or something is determined to push the Dragons back into another war: Queen Usaeil of the Light Fae has set her sights on claiming King Constantine as her mate, and the Dark Fae want the Dragon’s hidden weapon in order to rule Scotland and the rest of the world. With the recent introduction of the Fae executioners known as the Reapers, the number of interconnected series continues to expand.

Told from several third person perspectives including V and Claire, following numerous intersecting paths IGNITE focuses on the prelude to war. Vlad aka V, the copper dragon struggles with his purpose in the new world. For years, Vlad remained within his mountain, in a deep slumber, to protect those he wanted to destroy. With his magical sword missing, and his memories shattered, V kept to himself until the time came, to once again, search for the sword. Meeting Claire, stirred something deep within our story line hero, something he struggled to accept or need. Falling in love and finding his mate while the Dragon Kings were on the verge of war, found V considering the future, including the future with our story line heroine. With the return of his sword, and the power within, V once again, battles with what he wants, and what he needs to do.

Meanwhile, Queen Usaeil is determined to make Con her mate, to rule everyone and everything with the King of Kings by her side but in order to claim the supernatural throne Usaeil must first destroy those who stand in her way. As the Dragon Kings prepare to go to war, they discover that friends and adversaries must merge together in order to take down the evil that approaches. Friends become enemies, enemies become allies in an effort to reinforce for the battles ahead.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many of the previous story line couples, a few Reapers and their leader Death, as well as another look at the group known as the Others. A surprise awaits Claire and V, an unexpected and unnatural piece of news that adds strife to an already tumultuous situation.

Claire is not a strong heroine, in fact, she longs for someone to love and love her back. Searching for ‘The One’ becomes tantamount for Claire, so much so that her search consumes her days and nights. Afraid of forever being alone Claire searches for her happily ever after. IGNITE reveals the ‘blogger’ behind the (Mis)adventures of a Dating Failure, a revelation that was a little disappointing and a bit of a let down- I was hoping for something more prophetic or extraordinary. The premise is revealing and engaging; the romance is fated and passionate; the characters are dynamic and animated. IGNITE begins to prepare the readers for the end of the series-an end that will reunite several series and characters we have grown to love throughout the years.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date March 15, 2016

Weston Gallagher is falling hard-for the wrong woman. One night of passion has haunted him for years. Now he’s got a second chance to get the girl of his dreams…but there’s just one problem:

She hates him.

Eight years after he stormed out of Wildwood, California, West has returned to his hometown as a firefighter. His friends and family are thrilled he’s back-with the exception of Harper Hill. His best friend’s sister is all grown up and in all the right ways. He knows she’s going to do everything she can to protect her heart and keep him at arm’s length, but West has other ideas.

He will win the girl that got away. No matter what it takes…

•••••••••••••

REVIEW: IGNITE is the first installment in Karen Erickson’s contemporary, adult WILDWOOD romance series focusing on the men and women of Wildwood, California but especially the Gallagher family of brothers, and their sister Wren. This is fire fighter Weston Gallagher, and book keeper Harper Hill’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Harper and Weston) IGNITE follows the rebuilding of a relationship between Harper and Weston. Eight years earlier, following a night of passion with Harper, Weston escaped the small town of Wildwood, California and never looked back. His latest assignment finds Weston back in Wildwood, and falling in the love with the woman whose heart he broke years before. Harper has never forgotten or forgiven West for walking away, and isn’t prepared to fall in love-all over again.

The relationship between West and Harper is one of second chances; a rekindling of a love that was destroyed when West walked out of town without a goodbye or KMA. The rebuilding of the relationship finds our heroine looking towards the future, and never regretting the past. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive.

The secondary and supporting characters include Harper’s best friends Wren Gallagher and Delilah Moore-Delilah has a thing for Weston’s brother Lane Gallagher but her heart is constantly breaking as Lane refuses to acknowledge there is anything between he and Dee. We are also introduced to the youngest Gallagher brother Holden as well as their fire captain Tate Warren –who has caught the eye of the Gallagher sister.

The world building focuses on the people of Wildwood, California and a series of suspected arson fires sweeping the town. The storyline ends with a happily ever after –for now- while the investigation into the fires is on going. There is still much more story to tell.

IGNITE is a predictable second chance story line; a rebuilding of a relationship that was destroyed by a night of passion followed by an all too quick exit out of town. The premise is enjoyable; the characters are animated although their lack of maturity was not ideal for a romantic adult story line. The romance is a quick build to forgiveness and a happily ever after-for now.
