She never expected her youthful crush on Barrett to develop into something deeper. And she’s not about to let some ridiculous man rules or her brother stand in her way.

When the chemistry is this combustible, lines tend to get crossed. And when Barrett and Harmony’s secret gets out, it just might be game over…

Review:

I absolutely love this series. Jaci Burton has managed to pen another fun, flirty and sexy as hell story for Barrett and Harmony. We met Barrett in the previous couple of books as a supporting character, as this portion of the series has been focusing on the Cassidy siblings, all pro athletes. When it comes to sports and romance, Jaci seems to have the market cornered. Once again she does a bang on job of balancing romance with high-energy sports scenes.   Not that the sex scenes in this one aren’t high energy, because let me tell you, Barrett and Harmony were steaming up almost every other page once they finally gave into temptation and decided to start seeing each other.

Both Barrett and Harmony are well developed characters who carried the story without much effort. From their first scene together in chapter one sparks started flying between them and it just took off from there. Barrett and Harmony are both driven professionally(Barrett a pro football player, Harmony an interior designer) and passionately. They know what they like both in and out of the bedroom and aren’t afraid to go after it. Well, except for Barrett at first because of the all important ‘guy code’ he’s afraid to cross. Barrett is worried that getting involved with Harmony will damage his friendship with her brother Drake and he’s also Barrett’s defense partner on the football field. Watching Barrett try and dodge Harmony’s advances and remind her of the ‘guy code’ was hilarious and one could see there was no way the ‘guy code’ was winning out.

As their romance proceeds at a hot and heavy rate I was on pins and needles waiting for the moment Drake found out about Harmony and Barrett. Meeting Drake and learning about him in this one, you knew it would be explosive between him and Barrett when he finally found out, and Jaci didn’t disappoint.   It was a hell of a scene and well written. Not only was that scene well done, but the scenes to follow absolutely stole my heart and my breath. Watching Barrett man up and finally do the right thing by fixing things between him and Drake, him and his future mother-in-law and then him and Harmony was well worth the wait. The speech he gives to Drake was moving and heartfelt between two friends, but his apology and groveling to Harmony about how he handled their relationship spoke volumes and had me tearing up a little. Then onto his proposal, oh my, what a proposal, I was gushing over it. If I guy did that for me and said the things Barrett said, I’d be able to say I truly found my Prince Charming, because Barrett definitely turned out to be Harmony’s Prince. I’ve never read a more romantic proposal then Barrett’s to Harmony, bravo Ms. Burton.

Unexpected Rush is a wonderful installment to this series. It had everything in it that I come to expect from a Burton novel; a fun flirty adventure packed with high energy sports scenes, a sexy steamy romance, amazing cast of secondary characters to help advance the story, the fun sibling rivalry between the Cassidy brothers, and the importance of family. For the sport lover in me, I only wish there was a little more sports action like in her previous novels, but all in all I was a happy camper reading this one. If the added scenes with Flynn and his new head chef for his new restaurant were any kind of hint for her next Play-by-Play novel, then I think we will be in for a treat when Flynn’s book comes out hopefully next year. I’ll keep you all posted.

Until next time, happy reading sports fans!

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo / BAM / The Book Depository

Description:

But beautiful florist Samantha Reasor is a distraction Reid hadn’t counted on. Samantha intends to convince Reid that Hope is where his heart has always been, and coming home might be the best choice he could ever make.

Review:

Make Me Stay by Jaci Burton is the 5th book in her fabulous Hope series. I always enjoy visiting everyone in Hope, as meet our new couple, who were two people we met before that seemed destined to be together, but they were separated by their work. Reid McCormack is the 3rd brother who will meet the woman destined for him, if only he would leave Boston, where is a successful architect. Samantha Reasor is the resident florist in Hope, and Sam has always had a crush on Reid. Now that he is back in Hope working to design and renovate the old mercantile, she allows herself to be swept off her feet by Reid, even if he will eventually go back to Boston, and thereby break her heart. Sam is also concerned about her grandmother who is beginning to show the early symptoms of Alzheimer.

Reid during his stay, enjoys being around his family and friends, and now begins to spend even more time with Sam. He also is adopted by a stray dog, who due to his denial, is name Not My Dog. Reid and Sam’s relationship becomes a sizzling affair, which also brings Reid into Sam’s home life with her grandmother. As time goes on, with the mercantile coming along nicely, Reid starts thinking about what it should be like to stay and live in Hope with his family. But will Reid give up Boston and his business to stay in Hope? Will he act on his growing feelings for Sam?

What I love about this wonderful series is that it all takes place in a small town called Hope, and all the people we meet along the way that have become our friends too. It is always fun to go back to Hope. This was a nice story, though at times I felt it was a bit too long. As much as I liked Reid and Sam, for much of the book I did not feel their connection, probably due to both of them constantly avoiding what was right in front of them. As in most romances, there is a happy ever after, as in the end I did begin to like them together.   I loved Not My Dog (Nutty), who in Reid’s mind would talk to him. Cute. I am a fan of Jaci Burton’s Hope series, and I suggest you start this series from the beginning as they are fun sweet romances. They do read well as standalones, but to get the enjoyment of knowing the town and family, you should start on the first book.

excerpt

Sam had never experienced the kind of kiss that took her breath away.

Until now.

There was something so exponentially hot about a man who knew how to kiss, who wasn’t tentative about it and kissed with authority. Reid was that kind of man. He had one hand on her hip and the other on her neck, and his mouth moved over hers with an eager passion that told her he was as much into this as she was.

A definitely heady feeling.

Sam lifted into him, her lips and tongue doing a desperate dance with his. As he pressed into her, his body all hard planes and angles, she tried to memorize this moment, to feel every moving part of him, from his mouth to where his hands were. Her senses went haywire, like electrical zings pulsing through her, her body crying out for more, more, more.

And when he moved his hand underneath her to cup her butt, she moaned against his mouth, arching toward him. It was almost embarrassing how close she was to an orgasm already. It had been sort of a dry spell for her in the sex department, and Reid was supremely hot and sexy, and the way he rubbed against her hit all those hot, delicious parts that hadn’t been . . . serviced lately.

He lifted his head. “You’re shaking. Everything okay?”

She managed a smile. “Everything is definitely okay. More than okay. Like, I could come really soon if you keep moving that way kind of okay.”

His lips curved. “So what you’re saying is you’d like to stay in this position?”

He surged against her, and she gasped as tingles of pleasure shivered through her.

She wrapped her legs around his hips. “Yes, this could definitely work for me. Or, we could get naked.”

“I like the naked idea a lot. Hold on.”

He pushed off the sofa and stood, his hands cradling her behind.

“Can I just say I like your hands on my butt?”

He grinned. “I’m making a mental note of that.”

He held her so easily as he headed toward the hallway, as if she weighed nothing.

“Which door?” he asked.

“Last one on the right.”

He shifted her, holding her with one hand while he turned the knob on her bedroom door.

So. Impressive.

He pushed the door open, walked in, and flipped the light switch on, and at that moment she really hoped she hadn’t flung her bra and underwear on the floor before her shower earlier.

Not that he would notice her underwear on the floor, since his gaze was most definitely fixed on her, which only heated her insides more. He laid her on the bed, then leaned over her.

“Now. How about we take some clothes off?”

If it were possible to go up in flames spontaneously, this would be the time. The man just oozed sex appeal with his bedroom eyes and the way his voice lowered when he suggested they get naked. And they hadn’t even gotten to all the actual sex stuff yet.

She could well imagine just how good he was at the actual sex stuff, and she couldn’t wait to get there. She pulled off her shirt and wriggled out of her yoga pants, watching intently as Reid kicked off his boots and undid the buckle of his jeans. When he drew his shirt over his head, she had to pause, because, oh, his chest and those abs. Rock-hard didn’t even begin to describe him.

Wow.

This was about to get really interesting, and she didn’t want to miss a thing.

Hot Holiday Nights by Jaci Burton – a Review

Hot Holiday Nights by Jaci Burton – a Review

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo / BAM

Description:
Victoria “Tori” Baldwin is a successful sports agent whose career has always come first. She enjoys her work, her clients, and, on the occasional free night, a love life that’s short, hot, and uncomplicated.

While unwinding over Christmas in Hawaii, she chances upon a surfing competition, and all the lean hard men that come with it—especially Alex McConnell, a young surfer at the top of his game, and Ben Reynolds, ex-surfer and Alex’s business manager. The physical attraction Tori feels to these two completely different men is off the charts. They’re smart, sexy, and the nights are filled with the hottest passion Tori has ever felt.

Soon, Alex and Ben will move on to the next big wave and Tori will head back east. But as the days and nights go by, Alex and Ben’s feelings for Tori start to swell. Tori’s feeling it, too, and for the first time ever, she’s thinking twice about the men she’ll leave behind.

It won’t be long before this hot threesome has to decide if the romantic wave they’ve been riding is nothing more than a vacation fling, or the kind of love that could change all their lives forever.

Review:

Gulping down glass of ice water while fanning self….Hot Holiday Nights by Jaci Burton is one very steamy, and hot romantic read. Just when I thought Jaci couldn’t put anymore steam into her already steamy stories, she goes and proves me wrong. I swear each scene between Tori, Alex and Ben just kept getting hotter and hotter. I actually thought my poor Kobo was going to start shooting out flames at one point, LOL!! Having said that, I must also say that, as hot as her sex scenes get, they don’t come across as vulgar, over the top, or cheap. Jaci has a certain style to her writing that to me, makes the scenes relevant to her characters growing attraction and feelings to one another.  Sure in this particular story, the relationship between Tori and Alex, and Tori and Ben starts off as a just a holiday fling, a time to unwind and have fun, but as the story progress we get to see a the growing bond of not only friendship developing between our trio, but also respect for each other, admiration, trust, and the all important love factor. What really got me, was the ease in which both Ben and Alex accept each other’s love towards Tori and decide that they will tell her they love her together and let the chips fall where they may.

Alex and Ben are two very strong male characters, yet never once were they jealous of Tori’s growing attraction to the other. They just accepted the relationship the way it was, and being a trio in a relationship really worked for all of them. There was no awkwardness in any of their scenes together, they just clicked from the first scenes they were in, and the story progressed from there. It was a fast, roller coaster of a ride for Tori, Ben and Alex, but in the end, they all fell in love and are able to make it work between them. It’s a very easy going, laid back relationship, where they take care of each other, respect each other’s needs and wants in a relationship without anything ever getting sticky, or weird between them. I was really hoping that when Ben and Alex went to tell Tori how they felt that one wouldn’t be left out in the cold. I wanted her to choose both men, and find a way to make it work, and that’s just what Tori did. I loved the necklace they gave her for a Christmas gift, a gold chain with three diamonds and the world ‘Ours’ in the middle, thought it fitting and very romantic.

Hot Holiday Nights, is a fast and steamy read, with lots of surfing action, well developed characters and storyline given the fact that it’s a novella. Sometimes I feel shorter stories can be rushed and feel like the characters are just pushed at one another. This isn’t the case here. Somehow Jaci manages to let the reader learn who these three characters are, and create a love story that doesn’t feel rush or pushed on us. Hot Holiday Nights is a short story where everything just clicks and falls into place from the first scene. Being a fan of Jaci’s Play-by-Play series, I really enjoyed this addition to the collection and am eagerly anticipating her next one in the series.

Until next time, happy reading!!!

All Wound Up
Play by Play series – Book #10
by Jaci Burton
Release Date: August 4, 2015

All Wound UpAmazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo / BAM / The Book Depository

Description:

Aubry Ross is way too busy for a love life. But baseball player Tucker Cassidy keeps ending up in her emergency room, and he’s kind of irresistible. Tucker has no intention of playing games with Aubry—he’s dead serious about romancing the daughter of the team owner, even if it does put his job in jeopardy.

Review:

For any fan of Jaci Burton and her Play by Play series this is a must read. I absolutely loved Tucker and Aubry. They were perfect for each other and came off as genuine characters. It didn’t take long for me to be pulled into their story and want them to have their HEA. Both Tucker and Aubrey are fun, passionate, dedicated and love their jobs. Aubry is in med school and very busy being a doctor, while Tucker is a pro baseball player and very busy perfecting his craft to be the best he can on the mound. However, both feel there is something about the other worth getting to know, and carve out time from their busy schedules to explore it. Their scenes together are both fun and flirty, but when they get down to business….fire hazard warning…..you’d best have a glass of ice water nearby. Holy Hanna, does Jaci know how to write a sex scene. I swear the pages were smoking as I read those scenes. Aubry and Tucker are both extremely passionate people when it comes to sex, and aren’t afraid to tell the other how they like it. I’m thinking Jaci must have set a few pencils on fire writing those scenes, LOL!!

There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like about either the characters or the story itself. For anyone who’s a sports fan, this series is perfect for you, and I being a fellow sports fan loves this series. When Jaci’s writing a game scene it’s like we’re actually there watching the game, whether it be baseball, football, hockey, etc. I’m always on the edge of my seat, cheering the pro and their team on, wanting the victory for them. It’s very easy to get caught up in the action of the game the way Jaci describes all the nuances and events going on. This is just another reason I love this series and Jaci’s writing. She has a knack for incorporating the sporting scenes with the romance. It just adds another layer of excitement to the story. Plus, she always has a solid core of secondary characters to help further our main couple’s story. Tucker’s family is hilarious, I loved every scene with him and his brothers. The sibling rivalry is present with all their teasing and bantering to one another, but deep down you can feel the love and respect that they have for one another. Plus, the way they seamlessly accept Aubry into their brother’s life and their family is lovely to watch.

In my opinion I’d say Jaci has another hit on her hands with All Wound Up. It’s fun, flirty, passionate and sexy all wound together to create an exciting and fast read. My only let down was when I read the last page, turned it and their wasn’t more to read about Aubry and Tucker. However, I was happy to see that the first chapter for the next in the series was there and it’s about Tucker’s twin Barrett. After meeting Barrett in this one, I can’t wait to read his story and watch him fall head over heals in love and get teased by Tucker. All Wound Up is a fantastic edition to this series and whether you are a sports fan or not you won’t be disappointed. However, if you are a sports fan then the sport scenes are an added bonus for you. The characters were well developed, genuine, real and you felt every moment of their passion for life and one another throughout the whole story.

Until next time, happy reading!!

Love After All

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo / The Book Depository / BAM

Description:
High school math teacher Chelsea Gardner has the perfect plan. She’s tired of dating all the wrong men, and after years of frustration, she’s developed a foolproof list of requirements for finding “The One.”

Bar owner Sebastian “Bash” Palmer finds Chelsea beautiful, smart and fun, but he thinks her list is ridiculous and unnecessary. Intent on proving Chelsea is looking for love in all the wrong ways, he offers to help her find the “perfect” man.

Chelsea knows Bash isn’t the right guy for her—he barely meets one of her criteria—but there’s something about the charismatic man that has her yearning for things that are most definitely not list approved.

Because sometimes, a relationship that looks totally wrong on paper can turn out incredibly right…

Review:

Love After All by Jaci Burton is the 4th book in her wonderful Hope series. Chelsea Gardner is our heroine in this story, as it begins with her writing her list for finding the perfect man. Chelsea has not has success in meeting Mr. Right, and now she has set high standards for what she expects him to be. As she sits by the local bar, waiting for her friends. Bash Palmer, the owner of the bar, spies her writing something. Teasing her, he tries to find out what she is doing. But Chelsea doesn’t bite and hides the list. Of course, Bash being known as a womanizer and workaholic would automatically not meet Chelsea’s standards on her list. He is a friend within her group of friends, but the wrong man to date.

Bash does find and read the list, and decides to play along and help Chelsea find someone who would be meet her requirements. Chelsea’s friends, who are either married or engaged laugh at her list, not to mention they think Bash is great, and would be great for her.

What follows is a fun charming story of Chelsea dating different men, who meet what she is looking for, but there was no chemistry. While she continues to search, Bash and her become even better friends, with benefits. Bash is fun loving, handsome, sexy, and has no interest in any kind of permanent relationship, having had a bad experience in marriage. In a short time they start a sizzling relationship that is not meant to be anything more than fun and sexual. They had so much chemistry together, as it was off the wall. But both refused to look further then the fling they thought it was.

Their friends were the ones who saw what was happening between them, though they were stubborn and blind to their feelings. Chelsea at first was a little annoying with that list, but it was nice to watch her slowly fall hard for Bash, as no one she met was able to give her the feelings she had with Bash.

Bash knew early on how he also was falling in love with Chelsea, but his fears of anything more scares him. They both have a blast with each other, not to mention the flaming sex. When Chelsea acknowledges her feelings, it will be Bash who will panic and hurt her.

Will Bash and Chelsea overcome their issues? Will their friends help them see the light? You will have to read this fun story to find the answers. Love After All continues the trend of fun, hot sexy romances, friendships in Hope. I love the comradery between towns friends and family. You can’t go wrong reading anything by Jaci Burton.

QuarterbackDraw FEb 15jpgAmazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo / The Book Depository / BAM

Description:
Playing For Keeps

Grant Cassidy knows how to be a football star—flash that dazzling smile, throw the winning pass, get the girl. But while the hot quarterback loves the game and the lifestyle, no woman has come close to catching his heart.  Then he matches wits with a smart, gorgeous model, and Grant finds himself wanting more than a fling.

Supermodel Katrina Koslova might live in a world of glitz and camera flashes, but she works hard to provide for the family that relies on her. She doesn’t have time for fun—much less a boyfriend—but Grant seems determined to be the exception to Katrina’s rule. Their explosive chemistry is undeniable, but Katrina’s afraid to let go and rely on anyone but herself. Grant intends to ease her fears and prove he’s a man of style and substance.

Review:

Quarterback Draw is book 9 in Jaci Burton’s Play by Play series and I can only say this series just keeps getting better and better. Jaci never ceases to amaze me with her ability to write a sports themed story complete with a hot romance between her main couple. This time up its pro football player Grant Cassidy and supermodel Katrina Koslova. All I can say is these two steamed up the pages from their first meeting. The chemistry between Grant and Katrina is off the charts and gets hotter and hotter as their relationship progresses. I absolutely loved the relationship between Grant and Katrina, they are two well balanced characters who couldn’t be more perfect for one another. Another plus in Jaci’s column is her ability to write the perfect match in her hero and heroine. Somehow they always seem to balance each other out and make each other’s lives better for it. Even though their chemistry is combustible and off the charts, Jaci doesn’t rush a thing between them. Another thing I enjoy about Jaci’s stories, she never rushes the romance, she lets it build and simmer until the perfect moment in the story and then it’s no holds bared between our couple. The romance takes off and there’s no turning back, which is how it plays out between Grant and Katrina.

One of the things I liked most about this relationship is Grant’s patience, tenderness and romancing of Katrina. Even though she’s a world class supermodel, she’s had a tough go of life, having to raise her brother and sister from when she was 18. Which meant she pretty much put her social life on hold to make sure her siblings had a good chance at life. When Grant learns she’s a virgin, he doesn’t question her reasons, instead he listens to all she has to say, understands her and decides to be the best damn teacher when it comes to sex. Let me just say, I’d let him be my teacher any day 😉 Grant definitely knows what he’s doing in the bedroom, along with being a kickass quarterback for his pro football team. Watching Grant and Katrina’s relationship develop slowly and passionately was a lovely treat to read. Jaci does a fantastic job of allowing Katrina to spread her wings in the romance department, while at the same time being a little apprehensive because she’s always got her siblings best interest at heart. She feels that whatever she does in her life will affect her siblings, so she’s always mindful of that. Katrina is a very endearing character that has the reader falling in lover with her from the start. She’s a female lead that any woman reading this story can relate to and respect. As for Grant, his character gives me hope for the male species. He’s just a wonderful human being, who’s chivalrous, kind hearted, knows how to treat a woman, is sexy as hell and a stellar athlete. I absolutely loved him and he had my toes curling on more then one occasion, he’s definitely swoon worthy material in my book.

Quarterback Draw is a well balanced and written story. The romance between Grant and Katrina is endearing and lovely to read. They really are the perfect couple. Like I said earlier their chemistry is off the charts and ensnares the reader from their first meeting. The secondary characters, Anya and Leo(Katrina’s siblings) and Grant’s family(parents and siblings) are loveable, give us more insight into our couple both as individuals and as a couple, while adding another dimension to the story. On top of a well written and passionate romance between Grant and Katrina Jaci also keeps us riveted with the sport side of things with every football game scene. She does a fabulous job of writing these scenes and making the reader feel like they are actually sitting in a football stadium cheering Grant on. How she manages to do that baffles me every time, but I couldn’t be happier with these scenes as I love my sports. All in all this is another successful addition to her Play by Play series and I for one can’t wait for the next installment. Next up is Grant’s brother Tucker and he’s a pro baseball player. One of my fave sports, and I’ll be sure to bring you all the play by play details about that one.

Until next time, happy reading.

REVIEW:

I just have to say, as much as I do love my paranormal and fantasy genre books, these sports themed stories by Jaci Burton are fast becoming my 2nd favourite genre. I just love her Play-by-Play series and Holiday on Ice is a nice addition to this very hot and steamy series. This novella is Stella and Trick’s story, and we were introduced to them in Melting the Ice. Even though Stella and Trick were secondary characters in Melting the Ice, it was very plain to see the chemistry and connection these two characters had with one another and I was very glad to see Ms. Burton has written a novella for them. Their story is one about love and hope lost, heartache, learning to believe in love and hope again, and going for what you truly believe in.

Stella and Trick are not only perfect for each other, but they burn up the pages in this one. Seriously, I don’t know how Ms. Burton’s keyboard, computer screen, etc, don’t catch fire when she writes this series. Her heroine and hero are combustible in this one, just like all her previous books in this series. The sexual chemistry sizzles through the pages between Trick and Stella from their first scene together when they walk back into each other’s lives.

Trick always knew there was something special about Stella and seeing her again, only proves to him he wants her back in his life on a permanent basis. He’s ready to leave behind his playboy image and get serious with one women, Stella. Now if only he can convince her of this. Stella having been badly hurt where love and her heart are concerned, doesn’t want to tread back into that area because it’s just too painful. However, seeing Trick again, and spending time with him is making it harder for her to keep her motto of, love’em and leave’em.

The romance between Stella and Trick is steamy to say the least, but also has a very sweet and charming side to it as well. Trick is the perfect hero, he’s strong, sexy as hell, charming, understanding and very patient with Stella. He knows she needs time and space and doesn’t rush her into anything. He knows she’s always had one foot out the door in this ‘relationship’ cause she refuses to call it a relationship. After a misunderstanding and coaxing from Trick, Stella finally opens up to him about her past relationship and love. The scene where they finally admit they love each other, and then when Stella opens up to Trick about her past are perfectly written. They were sweet, touching and very heartfelt. Having their story centered around the Christmas season is just the right touch. It gave them the chance to spend time together Christmas tree shopping, decorating the tree, playing in the snow, going ice skating and just having fun, falling in love with each other during a special time of the year and seeing what it would be like to be with that person everyday for the rest of their lives. These scenes just added another layer to a beautifully, charming and steamy storyline. Oh and lets not forget the hockey scenes. Since this is a sports themed story, and our hero is a sexy hockey player, those scenes were supercharged with engery and action and made me feel like I was sitting at Trick’s games with Stella cheering him on. What can I say, there’s just something about a man in a hockey uniform that gets me going. 😉

Once again Jaci Burton has written a fun, sexy, steamy, and fast paced story about romance, love and hockey. It kept me involved from start to finish, and made me feel like I was sitting in my local hockey arena cheering on my team. I just love these sports themed romances, and mixing in a little Christmas magic to this one was sheer perfection on Ms. Burton’s part IMO. Who can resist a sexy hockey player anyway. 😉

Until next time, happy reading and Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Review:

Hope Burns by Jaci Burton is the 3rd book in her Hope series. I love this series, as Jaci Burton never fails to give us a sweet heartwarming story, and another fabulous couple. These romances that take place in small towns are always romantic and charming.

Molly Burnett left home years ago after being heartbroken by her high school sweetheart. Molly forces herself to return home for her sister Emma’s wedding. Emma and Luke’s story was in Hope Flames.

Carter is our hero, and he is is the boyfriend who hurt Molly years before. Carter though has grown up, and is even more swoonworthy then he was before. Molly notices that right away, as she runs into Carter almost as soon as she arrives in town. But she is determined to keep her distance, which in time will become more difficult as each day passes. Carter is now successful, owning 4 auto repair shops. He is more responsible, and it doesn’t take long for him to try to win Molly back. Molly only plans to stay in town until after the wedding, which will change as an accident will force her to stay a lot longer then she wanted too.

What follows is a story of two people who lost their way many years ago, with one ready to begin again and the other too afraid to commit for fear of being hurt again. It is a very sexy romance, with Carter finding himself falling in love with Molly again. Their chemistry was off the wall, very hot and well written by Burton. Molly knows her feelings are still strong for Carter, and is enjoying their sexual escapades. Despite her renewed feelings, the hurt from so long ago continues to build on her fears . Can Molly control her wanderlust and stay in Hope? Can she trust her feelings for Carter, or will she run again?

Jaci Burton has given us another wonderful and steamy romance, and it was fun to see all the characters we are getting know so well in this series.   You need to read this series and join the fun that you will have in Hope.
