Review:
Wolf Leader by Jane Godman is the 6th and final book of her The Arctic Brotherhood series.  When we last left off in Wolf Hunter, the evil Fenrir, was imprisoned, but the Arctic Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun team members were still very much in fear.  Fenrir, even chained, had the ability to mind control others to take over their body.  The Brotherhood knew they needed to kill Fenrir before he acted on his plan of destruction of the human race.  But a god can only be killed by another god; how can they find a way to stop Fenrir?

Vigo Durand, is our hero in Wolf Leader and he though respected, he is also a bit of a newbie; but it is his turn to lead this mission.  Vigo is also the only member of the 7 team Brotherhood who does not have a mate, nor is he interested in finding one.  Vigo meet Amber Merova, another Arctic werewolf, who keeps to herself.

Amber, our heroine, sees the brotherhood arrive and feels a strong pull.  She fights the attraction of one of the men coming off the plane, and ignores it.  When Vigo is told he is now in charge by Gunnar, he learns that the woman he saw earlier is now going to be added to the team.  She has a reputation as being tough and a loner, but she fits the Brotherhood requirements. Vigo goes to see her, and realizes that she is his mate.  They both try to fight off their sizzling attraction to no avail.  Once he forces Amber to meet his team, she slowly begins to accept the inevitable, and senses that being part of the Brotherhood, and helping save the world is something she truly wants.

What follows is an exciting adventure to stop Fenrir, which looks like an impossible task.  Just when you think things will work out, all hell breaks loose and Amber finds herself very much in danger.  I will not tell too much more, other than to say that Godman did a good job in bringing this series to a satisfactory conclusion.  I did like Vigo and Amber together, and they made a great team, as warriors and as a couple.

If you enjoy shifter stories, a fantasy world steeped in Norse Mythology, exciting action, and great characters you get to see throughout this series, you should be reading this fun series

Review:

Wolf Hunter by Jane Godman is the 5th book in her Arctic Brotherood series. I have enjoyed this series, as they are fun, exciting and quick reads. A brief refresher:  Arctic Brotherhood is a shifter series, with an ancient species of Arctic werewolves, who are part of the 7 members of the Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun.

In the last book, one of the members (Hendrik) of the Arctic Brotherhood was murdered, and the villain, Chastel has once again escaped.  Six months have passed, and Sebastian Novak, our hero, is determined to find Chastel before he kills again.  Sebastian goes to visit, Cindy Harper, our heroine, who was Hendrik’s friend (though everyone thought she was his lover).  Sebastian has always loved Cindy, knowing somehow she was his mate, but he did not follow up in deference to his friend, Hendrik.

In a short time, Sebastian will find out the truth about Cindy, and she will tell him that she has always had feelings for him.  A hot combustible romance begins that will change both of their lives forever.  But first they both need to survive the onslaught of two vicious and powerful evils. When Sebastian arrives, he is just in time to help a worried Cindy, who claims someone is following her. Sebastian can also feel the evil close by, and knows that Chastel is targeting Cindy.   The entire team will meet up to find a way to stop Chastel, and when an old friend comes back, the danger escalates threatening them all.   Rather than say too much more, the team will fight their toughest battle, facing not one, but two very powerful enemies.  It was wonderful to see our favorites back, as the  entire Arctic Brotherhood team is great; including the women or men that find their mates.  I really did love Sebastian and Cindy as a couple.

Wolf Hunter was an exciting adventure with nonstop action, edge of your seat suspense, and steamy sex scenes.   This is an excellent series, with Godman continuing this ongoing storyline smoothly in a wonderful fantasy world steeped in Norse Mythology. If you enjoy werewolves, action packed stories, suspense, exciting, adventure and great characters, then you should be reading this series.  They are quick and fun reads.

Review:

Wolf Slayer by Jane Godman is the 4th book in her Arctic Brotherhood series. .  A refresher:  Arctic Brotherhood is a shifter series, with a new ancient species of Arctic werewolves, who are part of the 7 members of the Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun.

Kyle Madden, one of our Arctic Brotherhood werewolves, is a detective, who hides what he is to his coworkers. Kyle is currently deep into trying to catch a serial killer (Cage Killer), who kidnaps, tortures and kills his victims.   Kyle and his police team are desperate to find the latest victim.  They receive a tip and using his unique senses, Kyle discovers that  underneath the house they are investigating holds a cave.  Kyle will then find the latest victim, Maria Delgardo, who is our heroine.

Maria has been tortured, and thinks she is hallucinating when she sees a handsome stranger coming to her rescue.  Kyle and his team will get Maria out, and to the hospital, where she will be treated for her severe injuries, including loss of some fingers.  This also pushes Kyle to the max, in his desperation to find the Cage Killer.  Kyle learns that Maria, unknown to her, is also an Arctic wolf, but she has never shifted.  She will be moved to protect her to one of the Brotherhood’s compound, where they will all return together to find the Cage Killer.

Slowly, the attraction between Maria and Kyle becomes very hot and sexual, which Godman does use a lot.  The story was very exciting and intense as they get closer to the truth.  Rather than say too much more, Chastel once again is still the terrible villain, and a powerful one; since he can swap bodies and control minds to get those to do his bidding.  He needs to be stopped.  On that note, I personally feel this part needs to be completed, to move on to other possible types of mysteries or villains.  There are a number of characters that still need their story told, but this one seems to be getting old.

That being said, this is an excellent series;   action packed, tension, suspense, mystery, magic  and lots of steamy sex in this wonderful fantasy world. Wolf Slayer brings our favorites back, and the entire Arctic Brotherhood team are great; including the women or men that find their mates.   These are all quick and fun reads, which I suggest you start from the first book.

Review:

Storm Wolf by Jane Godman is the 3rd book in her Arctic Brotherhood series.  This is a fun fantasy that is a fast and exciting read.  Just a refresher:  Arctic Brotherhood is a shifter series, with a new ancient species of Arctic werewolves, who are part of the 7 members of the Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun.

In Storm Wolf, Odessa Santin is our heroine; she is a Siberian Werewolf, who are enemies of the Arctic wolves. Odessa is the leader of her Siberian werewolf pack, since the death of her father, who was killed by the Arctic wolves.  Odessa runs a successful gaming business, and leaves the running of the pack to one of her leaders.   On the night of conference for her new game, Odessa meets a stranger and much to her dismay, she ends up having sex.

Dan Lowell, our hero, is one of the Arctic Brotherhood, whom we met in previous books.  Dan is a scholar who specializes in werewolf history.  Dan had attended the conference, since he was desperate to talk to Odessa Santin about the poisoning of the environment that her pack is doing.  To Dan’s surprise when he meets Odessa, he realizes she is the woman who he had wild sex the night before. Odessa is also shocked, but maintains her composure, as she is extremely cold to the man who is part of the pack that killed her father.  When Dan shows her a video showing her and her team dumping the poison; she is appalled, claiming she did not do this.  In a short period, Dan and Odessa will join together to find out who is framing both of their packs and what is the magic being used to superimpose their images.

What follows is an exciting adventure that will bring both Dan and Odessa even closer together.  Godman does tend to do a lot of hot sexy scenes, but at least the story still remains in the forefront.   When Odessa finds her pack all but destroyed, she knows there is someone very powerful trying to start a war between the Arctic and Siberian wolves.  The members of the Arctic Brotherhood we have come to love join with them to try to stop this war.   In the previous book, Chastel was killed, but the magic being used proves that he is still alive.

This is an exciting adventure using Norse mythology, with nonstop action, edge of your seat suspense, and a sizzling couple.  There are also, gods, goddesses, shifters, magic in this fantasy world that Godman has given us.  I look forward to the next book

Description:
They are the Arctic Brotherhood.

They are deadly fighters, fierce protectors and loyal mates.

Elliott Wilder is a mild mannered Alaskan college professor. Wilder craves the things most people find boring. Seclusion. Monotony. Anonymity. But what Wilder craves most of all is the thing he can’t have… memory loss. Four hundred years ago, Wilder and the other members of the Arctic Brotherhood were captured and tortured by the leader of the Siberian werewolves. Wilder is still haunted by memories of that night, when he wasn’t able to protect his leader.

Now the Siberian wolf is on the loose and seeking revenge. Not only must Wilder lead the brotherhood, he must fight the attraction he feels toward its newest recruit, Jenny Piper. Jenny offers Wilder a glimpse of the life he can’t have. As the brotherhood races against time to save humanity from the horror their enemies unleashed on the world, Wilder must reach inside himself to find the leader the brotherhood needs and the mate Jenny craves.

Review:

Ice Wolf by Jane Godman is the 1st book in her Arctic Brotherhood series.  This is a shifter series, with a new ancient species of Arctic werewolves, who are part of the 7 members of the Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun. The story begins 400 hundred years earlier, when the Siberian wolves were about to destroy the Arctic wolves; but at the last minute, the newest member of the Arctic Brotherhood managed to save his leader.  Switch to the present time, and we meet Elliot Wilder, a professor who is a loner, and content to live in solitude.  He is approached by someone he has not seen in 400 years, the leader of the Arctic wolves, and is asked to help gather the brotherhood together to fight someone so very evil that will destroy the world.   But Wilder has no intention to go back to that life, until he meets our heroine, Jenny Piper.   Jenny has always been alone, and now that she recognizes Wilder as one of her kind, she is determined to become part of a family.

Jenny is a strong heroine, a female alpha, who is accepted to the Arctic Brotherhood.  Wilder immediately is attracted to Jenny, but fights off those feelings, as he hasn’t told anyone about his nightmares of the time 400 years ago.  It will be Jenny who will help Wilder though those nightmares, and convince him to help his brothers, as his assistance is necessary to defeat the enemy, as humans across the world are threatened for destruction.

Wilder steps up, as he sees his Arctic brothers, and together they travel to the Land of the Midnight, where it all began to try to kill the Siberian wolf leader who is behind the threat.  But as they meet the wolf goddess, they are met with some major twists that changes the game, and escalates the danger.   Fenrir, the most evil and powerful wolf, has escaped his captivity, and in the guise of a cult leader, he is quickly brainwashing all humans to follow him; and then destroy them all.  Can the Arctic wolves stop Fenrir in time?

What follows is an exciting adventure steeped in Norse mythology, with edge of your seat non-stop action.  Wilder will step into the role of leader, especially after Jenny’s life is in danger.  Jenny made a wonderful partner to Wilder, and tense exciting race to catch Fenrir brought the entire team together to try and save the world.  This was an excellent start to a different shifter series, which will continue in future books, with each member of the Arctic Brotherhood taking a leading role in more upcoming dangerous missions.   I loved all the characters that made this Brotherhood. I look forward to reading the next book, Shadow Wolf.

Review:

Shadow Wolf by Jane Godman is the 2nd book in her Arctic Brotherhood series. Having enjoyed the first book in this series, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Shadow Wolf was equally or a bit better then Ice Wolf.

In Shadow Wolf, Samson Lee takes the lead, as he is summoned by his friend, a former retired member of the Arctic Brotherhood.  Seems that his daughter, is missing, and he wants Samson to find her.  Valetta Rickard, our heroine, has gone undercover, joining a group of Arctic Wolves (not the Brotherhood).  Valetta is determined to find out who is trying to kill her father, as well as discover the truths about the legend of Shadow Born.  When Samson finds her, she is considered the leader of this group of Arctic misfits, and he joins the group to help her.  Samson senses not all is right, and once he convinces Valetta that something is very wrong, they begin to work together to discover what is really happening.

Valetta has always had a crush on Samson, but he has always treated her like his friends daughter, keeping his distance.  Samson lost his wife hundreds of years before, being murdered in an attack; he blames himself and for all those years he has not looked at another woman.  Valetta in a short time, with them being together during the adventure, slowly uses her charms and feelings to weaken Samson’s resolve.   They made such a great couple, and both were also very powerful.   The story line of the Shadow born was very interesting, which added to the element of finding the truth of her past, and who is behind the evil.

The action became especially exciting when the entire Arctic Brotherhood joins Samson and Valetta to stop the evil behind the mask.  Not only was it very exciting, but also surprising as another evil being from hundreds of years ago is the villain.  Valetta will learn the truth about who she is, and there are some very emotional moments, as well as dangerous death defying moments.  Shadow Wolf was an excellent story, which I read in one day.  I look forward to the next installment of the Arctic Brotherhood series, and to see what Jane Godman has in store for us.
