Told from dual first person perspectives (Diesel and Makenna) DIESEL follows in the wake of the retrieval of our story line heroine. Makenna and Diesel grew up in the child welfare system, a system that was brutal and abusive for our story line couple. Makenna and Diesel fell in love, married one another but Deisel found himself in need of help, and joined the Untamed Sons MC, keeping his marriage to Makenna a secret from the men who would become his family. Fast forward to present day, Makenna is no longer happy with Diesel’s lifestyle and the MC, believing she remains his dirty little secret, a secret that is about to come full circle when the MC come looking for our story line hero. All is not well within the Untamed Sons MC, there is a fight for power, and anyone standing in the way is permanently removed.

The world building focuses on the struggling relationship between our story line couple as Diesel must prove his allegiance to the MC. Refusing to be tied down, Diesel (Zane) is desperate to protect the woman he is trying to hide but threats from within the MC force Diesel to take the next step to save the woman he loves.

The relationship between Diesel (Zane) and Makenna is one of best friends to lovers to married but in an effort to protect our story line heroine, Makenna remains behind the scenes, as Zane fears her life to be forfeit in the oncoming war. Makenna is tired of being left behind, and in this, our heroine decides it is time to cut the ties to the man whom she loves. The $ex scenes are limited but intimate and aggressive.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and questionable secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Untamed Sons MC: Birmingham and their spouses. The requisite evil has many faces.

DIESEL is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, family and friendships, relationships and love. The fast paced premise is heart breaking, dramatic and edgy; the romance is limited; the characters are dynamic and desperate.

The relationship between Ivy and Riot is one of protector and friends. Riot has declared himself guardian and protector of Ivy and her daughter Seren, a protector who is slowly falling in love with the woman who claims to be unworthy of love. The lone $ex scene is impassioned.

The secondary and supporting characters include the return of Mace and Maylie (Mace #1), Maylie and Ivy’s brother Toby; former school mate Jackson, several of Ivy’s friends, and club members Dash, Nicky, King and Blade.

TRICK can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order, or at the very least books six and seven where Trick’s life begins to spiral out of control.

Disobeying his club, Trick went on a rampage that would eventually target the Untamed Sons MC, leaving Trick struggling for a place with the family he once loved. Meanwhile, Heidi, having suffered her own losses a few years earlier, volunteers to look after Trick’s daughter Sophia, in the wake of her father’s disappearance . With Trick’s return, he and Heidi struggle to accept what happened and why, and the Untamed Sons MC want their piece of flesh, taking aim at our story line hero but the enemy is still free, and once again, Heidi and Trick will be targeted in a game of betrayal and revenge.

The world building focuses on love and loss; on betrayal and vengeance; on desperation and determination as Trick must make amends for the pain he caused even though his pain Is great if not greater than those who are demanding reparations. Heidi has struggled since the murder of her husband, and a loss of which she keeps close to her heart. Falling for Trick was never in the cards but raising his daughter gives Heidi purposes, going forward.

The relationship between Heidi and Trick begins out of necessity. Trick disappears for weeks at a time, seeking revenge for the loss of his wife but Trick forgot about the child he left behind, and in doing so, Heidi stepped forward to help raise a child that wasn’t her own. As Trick and Heidi’s life becomes entangled, secrets reveal a devastating loss for our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters many of whom take aim at our story line hero. Trick has lost the trust and friendships from the people he once called brother but grief and death take its’ toll on everyone differently.

TRICK is a story of loss and grief, struggle and purpose, secrets and lies, forgiveness, acceptance and love. The premise is dramatic and emotional; the romance is fated; the characters are broken but struggling to heal.

The world building follows two intersecting paths. Skye Richardson is a crime lord’s daughter but is not totally unaware of the business of which her father partakes but saying that Skye will discover betrayal comes at a cost, and her live is about to become a lot more complicated. Meanwhile, Rage, whose earlier years have moulded our anti-hero into the killing machine he is today, a killer who has earned his name in the wake of his need to protect the people he loves.

The relationship between Skye and Rage is that of a one-night stand. Rage was on assignment, and Skye was nothing more than a one-night stand. Skye Richardson was on the run from her father, and with her best friend by her side, our heroine would discover the true meaning of betrayal and a knife to the back. The lone $ex scene is fast and furious.

The numerous secondary and supporting characters are familiar, desperate and dynamic including several members from both the Birmingham and Manchester Untamed Sons MC, as well as the introduction of Skye’s father Desmond Richardson, Skye’s best friends Tommy and Scarlett. The requisite evil has many faces.

RAGE is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, murder and retribution, madness and mayhem, acceptance and love. The fast paced, character driven premise is gritty, intense and dramatic; the characters are determined and broken; the romance is non-existent as our couple have only spent a few minutes together. RAGE ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned
