REVIEW: TAKE THE BRIDE is instalment 1.5 in Carly Phillips contemporary, adult KNIGHT BROTHERS erotic, romance series and the author’s latest addition to the multi-authored 1001 Dark Nights. This is Ryder Hammond and Sierra Knight’s story line. TAKE THE BRIDE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Ryder and Sierra) TAKE THE BRIDE is a second chance romance between former high school sweethearts Ryder Hammond and Sierra Knight. Having fallen in love with his best friend’s sister, Ryder and Sierra began making plans for the future but our hero decided that seventeen year old Sierra needed to experience the world, and pushed her away, into a new life at college and beyond. Fast forward to present day wherein Sierra is about to marry a man with whom she is not in love. Enter Ryder Hammond who is willing to stand up for the woman he has never stopped loving. What ensues is the rebuilding romance between Ryder and Sierra, as they together, once again, make plans for the future.

Ryder Hammond walked away but never forgot about Sierra Knight. Having kept in touch through her brother Sebastian, Ryder had no idea what he was about to do when he stopped the wedding of the woman he loved. Sierra Knight wasn’t in love with the man she was about to marry but saying that our heroine didn’t expect to find herself a run-away bride.
