I was lucky enough to find my alpha when I was a teenager. We grew up together. Experienced all the high school sweetheart moments between us. Life should have been perfect.

Except that no pack wants an already bonded omega. I know that firsthand. It’s been ten years since we’ve started looking and we’ve visited a hundred packs through Pack Listing. None of them want an omega and her alpha.

But someone wants us. In the middle of the night, we’re abducted. Taken away, separated, and tortured – all in an attempt to break our bond. We’re somehow rescued and enrolled in the government’s protection program where we’re dumped into a home made up of other victims.

For the first time in my life, we’ve found a pack that isn’t awful. One that treats us both good; one that wants both of us. But I have to keep reminding myself that this is not my pack. We’re here by circumstance.

None of that matters. It doesn’t appear that we’re safe here, either.

REVIEW:⚠️TRIGGER WARNINGS ⚠️

This isn’t one of my favourite series that this author has written, but this book…. Oh lord… I absolutely loved it.

Alpha’s are the protectors, they see to their omega’s needs. Omega’s are softer, need protection and most are happy to be homemakers. Then we have the Beta’s not needing protection, but not strong enough to protect and keep an omega. So that causes a lot of resentment from the Beta’s, they can be added into a pack, but most form packs of their own. (I always thought this was kind of sad.)

Imagine finding your Alpha when you’re in high school, the happiness that an Omega feels when she’s safe in the knowledge that she will never be alone and now will always be protected…. That’s the good part, but you are suppose to be a pack, but if established packs only want an omega, and not a paired omega with her alpha, what’s left?

This story has it all…. Happiness/desperation/kidnapping/loss and the hope of finding a family. Paired/bonded mates can’t be separated. (A bite from your alpha makes it impossible.)

Talya and Colby have known they were meant to be together since teenagers. They thought they’d find their pack, years have gone by and nothing! Alphas need an omega, what they don’t need is another alpha! And we get to witness their pain at being rejected time and again. Unit/family/affection are all they have ever wanted. It’s also easier to protect an omega if there are more of you in a pack!

Talya is not your normal omega, she stands up for herself and doesn’t back down from fight/argument.

Colby is your typical alpha. But there is also a side that feels like he’s let his omega down! He needs a pack as much as she does.

There is so much to cover in this book. And plenty I’m not going to say. But I found the kidnapping by the Beta’s both interesting and scary! They are trying to break bonds that have already been formed!

(There’s torture and violence, so be warned!)

Then we come to the center that houses other victims, Colby and Talya are enrolled into the government’s protection program, and this is where we meet other alphas/betas that have been treated in the same way!

Trust needs to be earned, and slowly that trust comes, but both Colby and Talya are wary, why would this pack be any different, just because they are thrown together, doesn’t mean they are pack! It’s sad to read at first, you know these new characters are meant to be with Colby and Talya, but they don’t trust anyone after what they’ve been through. 😞

This series doesn’t need to be read in order. Although there are characters that have been in other books. But unless you read the previous books, you wouldn’t be able to tell.

I love reading the before and after notes the author writes for us. I think it adds a little extra to the story.

I did feel this could have been a two book story, the ending felt a little unfinished! 🤔 Personally I would have liked to have seen a better ending.

But I’m still going to recommend this book to all lovers of the Omegaverse.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 6, 2023

Possessions. Toys. Breeders.

That’s how omegas and betas are kept in the city of Chaingate. Alphas rule the city, owning the other designations as if they were play things instead of people. Alphas are raised cruel, bloodthirsty, and harsh.

Alpha Nicolai tried to be like the others. He was accepted into one of the biggest alpha packs, one that owned twelve omegas. The alpha pack that ran the city. But try as he may, Nicolai couldn’t bring himself to possess an omega or mistreat a beta.

Having reached his limit trying to live up to the expectations placed on him, Nicolai ran in the middle of the night, taking two omegas with him – the omega that claims his heart and the one his omega loves. He knows that it’ll be a life on the road for them but he vowed to keep them safe. To fight for their freedom. It wasn’t long before they saw that the rest of the world wasn’t like Chaingate. And neither were other alphas.

But that doesn’t mean they’ve seen the last of the city they fled. Betas may disappear from Chaingate from time to time, but no one was going to look the other way when two omegas vanish in the night.

REVIEW:Ok, the first thing I’ve got to say is that, this is a hard hitting book. Trigger warnings for the first part of the book. This has to be one of the authors books that I’m glad I read the warnings.

But it’s also my second favourite book she’s written. Although I didn’t really connect with the three main characters!

An alpha who runs off with two omegas…..

Alpha Nicolai loves Ayri (who is an omega) but has had enough of the way he’s treated in the pack (chaingate treat their beta/omegas like property) he’s uncomfortable with the treatment of the omegas, so he’s had enough, he wants to leave with Ayri, but he knows that his omega has feelings for another omega Paradise, so he has to run away with both! It’s going to be risky, if caught it will be the omegas that will get punished!

It’s not necessary to read the previous books, it’s stands on its own without any problems.

I really liked how the suspense was kept up. They thought they would be discovered and returned at any moment…. I enjoyed how slowly Ayri and Paradise began to relax and trust (Paradise took longer) Nicolai.

And when they meet Leith, Briar and Sutton, it’s almost love at first sight for the trio. They see how damaged Nicolai, Ayri and Paradise are (Nicolai had been emotionally damaged whereas Ayri and Paradise had been emotionally and physically damaged!) so it’s a slow process to get them to trust Leith/Briar and Sutton, but these alphas are nothing but kind, gentle and persistent.

Does Nicolai’s old pack come looking for them? You’ll have to read and and find out ?

It does end on a HFN (happy for now) for this new pack, it’s going to take time for Ayri and Paradise to truly feel safe and loved.

If you like your books dark and a tad uncomfortable, then give this book a go. It’s really well written, and will take you on a journey that’s going to need tissues.

ABOUT THE BOOK: January 12, 2023

I moved to Howling Cove to get out from under the oppressive thumbs of the alphas that run the city I grew up in. Although Howling Cove only has a population of 11,000, I thought I should be able to blend right in as any other basic beta might. I find an apartment with a quirky ghost that overlooks the cove the town was named for and a job at a souvenir shop that hypes up the haunting lore of the cove to tourists.

Just as I’m finally feeling the freedom and peace I so desperately sought, I somehow catch the eye of the alpha pack. And although I think I can get away without much trouble and return to my anonymity, it’s their omega that stops me in my tracks when he gives me those big brown eyes and insists that I join their pack.

As I’m struggling to deny him, something is wrong at the cove. Something that’s ending in visitors coming out looking like they’ve been petrified, like vegetables, like something has broken their minds. Nobody can figure out what’s happening – but I think the ghost I live with might have some answers.

This is a polyamorous story with content not suitable for those under 18 years of age due to graphic content.

REVIEW:The book is set in the Omegaverse, and my understanding of that universe is it’s a normal world, but it’s made up of Alpha’s, Beta’s and Omega’s.
The Alphas are the dominants, the Beta’s can be sort of dominant and the Omega is the weakest of the bunch, the Omega’s are prized above all others and need care and attention.

But Katiya doesn’t belong to a city that cherish their Omega’s, they are tools or pawns to use and abuse, even Beta’s don’t fair that well. So Katiya needs to escape from that world…..

Moving to Howling Cove seems like a dream, it’s a great place to live, and with a job she loves, Katiya begins to breath again, but she’s aware Alphas live in the community, it’s only a matter of time before she’s made to live in a pack (and that’s her worst fear!)

I liked that the omega wasn’t the FMC it made it different to most other omegaverse books.
It’s also great that the pack is already established and not looking for another member.

The pack consists of males, and they are happy with the dynamic. The Center of their world is their Omega Gideon. There isn’t much they won’t do to keep him happy, so when the alphas notice Katiya, it will take patience and Gideon to convince her that not all Alpha’s are nasty!

I like that there is a mystery within the Cove as well as the love aspect.
People are claiming to see a monster that prowls the caves that surround Howling. And when people turn up injured, the pack will need the whole community to pull together to solve the mystery.

Luckily the ghost that Katiya lives with has some answers! (Oh did I forget to mention there is a ghost that talks to Katiya) ?

It’s a great story, and I’ve read a few Omegaverse stories by different authors, this has to be my favourite so far.
Written really well, it’s told from the character’s points of view (not always my favourite way of telling stories) and although it’s told from their points of view, you don’t get muddled up (I think it helps that each chapter is given to a specific character)

So if you like read about the Omegaverse, I’d highly recommend you grab this then give it a try.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date JUNE 23, 2022

I lost everything in a freak accident. My entire family; everything I’d ever cared about – gone in an instant. Unable to bear the constant reminders and emptiness of my life, I moved across the country to dull the loss, hopefully falling into the anonymity of a large city where even an alpha could disappear.

Starting over was never in my plans. All I wanted was to blend in and let life pass me by. Live in my modest studio apartment with my mindless job as an absentee owner of a popular juice bar downtown.

I spent my days with headphones in as I worked through each machine at the gym, grabbing a juice from my cafe on the way home, and drowning myself in the solitude of my house.

And then I met the only thing I’d never managed to obtain with my pack – an omega who made everything in me spark. And in the next breath, a shy beta who made my most basic instincts rear up and want to wrap her in my arms and give her the world.

Try as I may, I can’t seem to run far enough away from either of them. Once we meet, something keeps pulling us back together at every corner. Just as I start to give in and wrap myself in their pack that consists of two other alphas, I find out that the freak accident that took my first pack from me wasn’t an accident at all.

And now I’m being hunted by the murderers who intend to finish the job.

REVIEW:Another author that’s going on my author to read list. A really good read, and I’m hoping this will be the start of a new series.

Written in multiple points of view (which sometimes can get a little confusing) But this one had clear characters so I didn’t get confused at all. It’s a story set in the Omegaverse (a universe where Alpha/Beta/Omega are an everyday occurrence, it can be human or shifter)

Main characters are: Terence (who is an alpha) Kaiser (the omega) Marley (beta) Phynn and Adrian (who are both alpha’s)

It’s full of emotion, full of action and I couldn’t put it down, have tissues handy and chocolate at the ready! Twists and a few sudden turns will have you trying to read the pages faster. ?

Terence starts the story. A few weeks ago he’d lost his pack in an accident, totally bereft, totally at a loss at which direction his life would go…

We then follow him as he goes through the motions of shutting down his emotions, we watch as he cuts contact with everyone, he interacts with no one!

Being an absent/silent owner in the juice shop his pack owned is his only source of contact, the gym is where he goes to tire himself out! And that’s his life! Meeting Kaiser should have been a happy moment (he and his pack were always searching for an omega to add to their home) but it’s only bringing back sad memories, so when he meets Marley in the same moment as Kaiser, walking away is the only course of action. He can’t, he won’t put himself through it again! But Kaiser and Marley aren’t willing to let him get away, Kaiser might be the omega, but he has the pack wrapped around his finger, Phynn and Adrian now want to meet the alpha who made their beta and Omega decide they need an additional alpha added to the pack.

There is M/M content, so if it’s not your thing I’d suggest you not pick it up. There is also MFM, it’s a reverse harem in full swing. It is a slow burn, but once it gets going …… ?

You can’t but hope Terence accepts his feelings for a potentially new pack. You hope Marley and Kaiser can persuade Terence to join their pack.

And when Terence finds out his old pack was actually murdered and not a car accident his first thought is he should have been with them. Can he find out who and why his old pack was murdered before he loses his new pack?

I loved this book and I can’t wait to return to it at some point.
