This is twenty-one year old prospect Noah Drake, and club princess Rhyan’s story line. REBELLIOUS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Told from dual first person perspectives (Noah and Rhyan) REBELLIOUS follows the friends to lovers/forbidden romance and relationship between prospect Noah Drake, and club princess Rhyan. Rhyan is off limits to everyone in the LA Defiance MC but Noah struggles with his attraction to the woman with whom he will fall in love.Not all is well in Noah’s life, having survived childhood abuse at the hands of his father but his mother is paying the price for protecting her son, a price that is about to target our story line couple. What ensues is the building but forbidden romance between Noah and Rhyan, and the potential fall-out as Noah’s life in the MC is on the line when Rhyan becomes collateral damage for sins of the past.

The world building focuses on the continuing fall-out of the past; and the forbidden attraction between our story line couple .Noah’s mother is serving a life sentence but no one is safe from the people in control. Rhyan refuses to back down from the woman with whom she will fall in love, and in this, Noah’s standing in the MC is on precarious grounds.

The relationship between Noah and Rhyan is one of a forbidden romance. Rhyan is off limits to everyone in the club but Rhyan wants Noah, and Noah will do anything for the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are provocative and passionate

The secondary and supporting characters include the previous story line couples (Dutch and Ellie, Mav and Sadie, Alpha and Haven, Clover), as well as several more members of the LA Defiance MC.

REVIEW:MALICIOUS is the second instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary adult LA DEFIANCE MC erotic, MC romance series -a spin off from the author’s NOLA Defiance MC/ set in the author’s world of Defiance MC. This is Jesse ‘Maverick’ Cadell, and baker/tutor Sadie Evan/ Connor’s story line. MALICIOUS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for cohesion.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Sadie and Maverick) MALICIOUS follows the acrimonious relationship between our story line couple. Maverick joined LA Defiance in the wake of his father’s betrayal, and protecting his sister Clover is precipitated Maverick’s move to LA but Clover’s health and her association with the MC are affecting her grades, so the club hires tutor Sadie Connor. From the outset, Maverick struggles with Sadie’s appearance in their lives, her attitude towards the club, and his attraction to the woman who would steal his heart but Sadie has a secret that is about to threaten the live of everyone Maverick loves. What ensues is the building but tempestuous relationship between Maverick and Sadie, and the potential fall-out as the past returns to claim our story line heroine placing a target on the back of the LA Defiance MC.

The world building follows several paths including the personal lives of several members of the LA Defiance MC. From Clover’s struggle in school, to Ingrid’s pregnancy, and the potential war with the Rojas Cartel, and the Steel Serpents MC.

The relationship between Maverick and Sadie is acrimonious at best. Sadie doesn’t respect the MC and her reasons are currently not known but Maverick’s dislike of Sadie is in complete contradiction to his attraction to the woman with whom he will fall in love. The love scenes are intimate and provocative.

The secondary and supporting characters include LA Defiance MC president and former Special Forces soldier Alpha, and twenty-five year old Haven aka Blue Jay; Livvy, Rhyann, Poppy, Navy, Loki, Dutch, South and Ingrid (NOLA Defiance MC) as well as Sadie’s ex Grave, and her brother Wes. The requisite evil has many faces.

MALICIOUS is a story of secrets and lies, power and control, destruction and chaos, acceptance and love. The premise is impassioned and captivating; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are energetic , determined and charismatic.
