There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several of the previous story line couples, as well as Nolan’s friends Abel and Hugo; Rita’s brother Cory, and a number of members from the Rebel Henchman MC. Abel’s story is next.

Days after his recover Fiasco hits a stray dog, and the only person he can think about is the woman that saved his life. What ensues is the building relationship between Fiasco and Joanna, and the fall-out as Joanna’s attempts to help Fiasco backfire, forcing Joanna out of his life but not before our heroine sets to right a number of wrong.

The conflict resolution was a little too clean-I thought there should have been more resistance from the people involved.

REVIEW: CANNON is the fifth instalment in the contemporary, adult SAVAGE KINGS MC-SOUTH CAROLINA erotic, MC, romance series co-authored by Lane Hart & DB West. This is Savage Kings MC member Cannon Erickson, and attorney/ mayoral candidate Madison Monroe’s story line. CANNON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but for backstory I recommend reading book four CONRAD.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Cannon and Madison) CANNON follows Cannon Erickson as he is blackmailed, like his twin brother Conrad, by the former chief of police Bailey, as said chief vies for the position of local mayor. Willing to win at all costs, Bailey threatens the Savage Kings MC, and ultimately his opponent in the upcoming mayoral race. Enter attorney Madison Monroe, the woman with whom Cannon will fall in love. As the run for mayor heats up, threats are made against our story line heroine, Cannon becomes protector and bodyguard as the MC backs Bailey’s race to the top. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Madison and Cannon, and the potential fall-out as Cannon and Conrad find themselves facing a future without the woman with whom they have fallen in love.

Cannon Erickson has loved and lost, and believes he is not worthy of Madison’s love. A one-night stand kind of guy, Cannon secretly wishes for more but believes that his is not fit to be on the arm of Madison Monroe. Madison Monroe knows what she wants, and had no idea what she wanted was our story line hero but Cannon’s back and forth, up and down attitude leaves something to be desired especially when he begins to pull away just days before her final run for office.

The relationship between Madison and Cannon is one of immediate attraction but Cannon has been sent to stop Madison’s campaign, and Madison wants nothing to do with Cannon Erickson. Cannon will quickly realize that Madison is all about public perception, and in this Cannon may not be the best choice in her run for office. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate, erotic and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Savage Kings MC: Cannon’s twin brother Conrad and his girlfriend Hannah ; prospects Jake and Lucas; Club president Roman and his girlfriend Charlotte, as well as Conrad and Cannon’s parents Harold and Jennifer, and former police chief Bailey.

CANNON is a story of power and control; family and relationships; acceptance, understanding, friendships and love. The fast paced premise is captivating and fascinating; the romance is seductive; the characters are animated and charismatic.

The $ex scenes are intimate without he use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to Eden’s father Senn Duncan (Senn),Sage’s parents Linc and Claire (Linc), all from the original Cocky Cage Fighter series, as well as Sage’s twin brother Talon, and cage fighter Cyrus Cutler.

SAGE is a story of family and relationships, friendships and love, forgiveness and happily ever after. The premise is emotional and engaging; the romance is seductive and captivating; the characters are broken, determined, yet moving on. I did have an issue with the quick resolution, I was hoping for a little more conflict and rekindling angst.

The Dirty Aces series is a spin-off from the author’s Savage Kings MC but you do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow the story.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Wirth and Maeve) WIRTH follows in the aftermath of an attack against the Dirty Aces MC leaving three of their members suffering with gun-shot wounds at a patch-over party in Wilmington merging the Dirty Aces with the Knights of Wrath. Meanwhile Wirth Wright finds a woman on the side of the road, whose car is in need of immediate repairs but Wirth is about to learn that Maeve is more than the newest Club wh*re but a woman whose actions threaten the lives of the Dirty Aces MC. What ensues is the attack against the Dirty Aces MC, and the potential fall-out as Wirth’s loyalty is questioned by his association with our story line heroine.

The relationship between Maeve and Wirth is one of immediate attraction, a relationship based solely on their mutual sexual appetites but a relationship that is about to spiral out of control. As Wirth begins to suspect that Maeve is more than she claims to be, Maeve is torn between her loyalty to family, and her growing attraction to Wirth. Issues of trust and betrayal reign supreme. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

There is a large ensemble case of secondary and supporting characters including Maeve’s eighteen year old brother Rian, and the temporary head of the Irish Mafia Cormac. We are reintroduced to several members of the Dirty Aces MC: Malcolm and Naomi, Devlin, Silas, Nash, Preston and Fiasco, as well as nurses Joanna and Casey. There may be something developing between Fiasco and Joanna.

WIRTH is a story of betrayal, vengeance, power and control. The Irish Mafia is threatened by the arrival of the Dirty Aces MC and the merging of two powerful groups, targeting the bikers for encroaching on their territory. The premise is fast paced and engaging; the characters are energetic and wild; the romance is based solely on sexual attraction. I did struggle with the conflict resolution-a little clean and neat under the circumstances.
