The world building focuses on several paths including Wyatt’s struggles to escape his past, a past that refuses to let go. From the outset, Sawyer believes himself unworthy and a fear of abandonment continue to threaten his sent of self-worth, and Sabrina has fallen to two men who believe she is unable to protect herself.

The relationship between Sabrina and Sawyer begins tempestuously due to Sawyer’s belief he is unworthy of love. As Sabrina and Wyatt’s relationship becomes something more, Sawyer reconsiders his future with the woman he loves. the $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of familiar, entertaining and sassy characters most of whom we have met in the previous story lines.

“I was helping out a client,” she began.
“Uhm, Mr. Taggart, I would like to make it clear we didn’t hire Daisy as a private investigator.” Her bosses were here, too. Harlow and Ruby sat at the opposite end of the table, and Harlow seemed to be the one who wanted to set the record straight.
“She was supposed to answer the phones.” Ruby frowned her way.
She was going to have to soothe her bosses. Things had done what they so often did in Daisy’s life. They had gone awry.
To top things off, her brother was somewhere in the building. Aidan had been the one to drive her up, and he’d told her he needed to go talk to his newest roommate.
Nathan Carter. Big, gorgeous Nathan Carter, who’d barely known she’d existed past being his friend’s obnoxious sister.
She hadn’t seen Nate in years. Was he still stunning? He probably had a girlfriend.
“Daisy?” Her mother’s voice brought her out of her reverie. “Uncle Ian asked you a question.”

This is Special Forces soldier TJ Taggart, and genius / CIA operative Louisa ‘Lou’ Ward’s story line. LIVE, LOVE SPY can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading book one LOVE THE WAY YOU SPY. Told from omniscient third person perspective LIVE, LOVE, SPY follows the best friends to lovers relationship between our story line couple. TJ Taggart and Louisa Ward have been best friends most of their lives, and their developing love for one another was constantly being tested. Believing TJ didn’t feel the same Lou was considering looking elsewhere for love until an emergency call sent her team to Germany in an effort to rescue the man that she loved. A rescue, a seduction, an operation involving the CIA, MI6, CSIS and international espionage finds TJ and Louisa facing an adversary that may or may not be connected to the past. What ensues is the rescue and recovery of TJ Taggart, the developing Dom/sub/ love relationship between TJ and Lou, and the potential fall-out as the team is targeted for sins of the past.

Once again, the world building is innovative, intricate and complex; the characters are numerous, charismatic and captivating. The man in charge, Ian ‘Big Tag’ Taggart is overwhelmed by the shenanigans and sex lives of the next generation, often sending Big Tag into a tail spin in an effort to ‘bleach’ the images from his mind. The moments are humorous, fun and alone, worth the price of admission.

The relationship between Lou and TJ is a best friends to Dom/sub to lovers. TJ and Lou have struggled with their attraction to one another for as long as they can remember. Lou’s attempts at seduction have been rejected by our story line hero but both suffer with issues of low self esteem, both believing they are now worthy of the other’s love. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate; the Dom/sub scenes are provocative.

LIVE, LOVE, SPY is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, espionage and deception, family and friendships, acceptance and love. The premise is elaborate and entertaining; the romance is seductive; the characters are powerful, determined and resolute.

REVIEW:THE REBEL WITCH is the third instalment in Lexi Blake’s adult OUTLAW erotic, paranormal/fantasy series set in the world of the author’s world of the THIEVES. This is the continuing story of witch Olivia Carey, and guardian/hunter/wolf Kelsey Atwood. THE REBEL WITCH should not be read as a stand alone as many of the events of the current timeline are as of a direct result of the previous instalments and the original THIEVES series.
