ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date April 17, 2017

Ten years ago when Shane Maguire chose the Marines as his escape from some trouble of his own making, he only regretted one thing—leaving Sinclair Smith behind. Despite his best intentions, she ended up as the one that got away. Now he’s back, determined to reclaim everything he gave up, including Sinclair.

Sinclair is immune to Shane’s charms. She’s immune to stolen kisses behind the gym. And she’s definitely immune to that maneuver he did in the back seat of his car… Okay, maybe her hormones are susceptible, but she has absolutely no desire to risk anything on the bad boy who broke all his promises.

When a little emergency lands her at his mercy, he offers her a deal she can’t refuse. And this time, she’ll show Shane what it means to be left wanting

REVIEW: EMERGENCY ATTRACTION is the third (and final?) installment in Samanthe Beck’s contemporary, adult LOVE EMERGENCY erotic, romance series. This is former Marine and risk management assessor Shane Maguire, and jewelry designer Sinclair Smith’s story line. EMERGENCY ATTRACTION can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from previous story line is revealed where necessary. Sinclair is the sister of Savannah Smith (Emergency Engagement #1).

Told from dual third person perspectives (Sinclair and Shane) EMERGENCY ATTRACTION focuses on the rekindling romance between our leading couple. Ten years earlier Shane and Sinclair were in love but a then eighteen year old Shane Maguire enlisted in the Marines to avoid some trouble back home, and in the ensuing time Shane and Sinclair lost contact with one another. Fast forward to present day wherein Shane has returned to his hometown of Magnolia Grove, and the woman he has never stopped loving in all that time. What ensues is the second chance romance between Shane and Sinclair, and the fallout of ten years of anger and betrayal for a woman who lost more than the man that she loved.

Sinclair Smith was sixteen years old when Shane Maguire walked out of her life but things did not go according to plans and our heroine struggled with the loss of the only boy she would ever love. Throughout the years Shane never stopped loving the woman from whom he walked away but walking away had never been in the plans.

The relationship between Shane and Sinclair is one of second chances but ten years earlier Sinclair struggled with more than the loss of the man that she loved but a loss that has affected her life in many ways. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Savannah and Beau Montgomery (Emergency Engagement#1), Madison and Hunter Foley (Emergency Delivery #2), as well as Sinclair’s parents, and an assortment of townsfolk, politicians and the requisite evil who has history with our story line hero.

EMERGENCY ATTRACTION is a sweet story of second chances; a rekindling romance between two people torn apart by circumstance, a lack of communication, misunderstanding, secrets and life. The premise is lighthearted and moving ; the romance is passionate, sexy and spicy; the characters are spirited and energetic. EMERGENCY ATTRACTION is a touching story about fated lovers given a second chance at life and love.

He needs the kind of rescue only she can provide…

Glass artist Savannah Smith expected a marriage proposal for Thanksgiving—just not from her strong, silent, super-hot neighbor. But when misplaced mail and a wayward can of paint lands them in a compromising position right as her family arrives for dinner, they assume he’s “The One” she’s been talking about.

Then his family shows up.

Fate dealt a crippling blow to paramedic Beau Montgomery’s heart, and he isn’t about to put it at risk again. Except, with his mother crying tears of joy over his surprise engagement to the sexy little blonde next door, he can’t bring himself to ruin her “Christmas miracle.”

Somewhere between the paint can to the head and the chaotic family trip to the ER, Beau manages to talk Savannah into being his fake fiancée long enough to survive the holidays.

If, of course, they don’t fall in love first

REVIEW: EMERGENCY ENGAGEMENT is the first installment in Samanthe Beck’s contemporary adult LOVE EMERCENCY romance series. This is paramedic Beau Montgomery, and glass artist Savannah Smith’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives EMERGENCY ENGAGEMENT is a fake fiance trope that follows the building relationship between neighbors Savannah Smith and Beau Montgomery. When an ‘accident’ finds Beau on the receiving end of a paint can upside the head during the Thanksgiving holidays, Savannah will come face to face with her parents who expect to be introduced to her new fiancé-enter Beau, his sister and his parents who welcome the news with open arms. But..there is a problem with the scenario: Beau and Savannah are neighbors (basically strangers) not lovers. Keeping up the lie of their fake engagement becomes a struggle as their families begin an elaborate set up for their upcoming nuptials.

EMERGENCY ENGAGMENT is a friends to fake fiancé to lovers trope that follows the misadventures of Beau and Savannah as they try to head off a series of ‘wedding’ plans by their respective families. Thanksgiving, Christmas Holiday, and Savannah’s plans for the future all become too much for Beau to handle when he breaks the heart of the woman with whom he is falling in love-Beau has known grief and heartache, and isn’t willing to go down that road ever again. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive. The story line ends rather abruptly-perhaps their story will continue in a future installment.

We are introduced to Savannah’s sister Sinclair who is well aware of the ‘fake fiance’ situation. Beau and Savannah’s parents continue to looks forward to the future. And the introduction of Beau’s fellow paramedics is fodder for some future story lines.

EMERGENCY ENGAGEMENT is an entertaining story with romance, love, heartbreak moments of humor, and a potential lifetime of regret. The premise is enjoyable; the characters are dynamic, colorful and real; the romance is passionate and hot.

Emergency DeliveryAbout the book: Release Date March 14, 2016

Madison Foley is determined to stand on her own two feet, no matter how wobbly her circumstances. Fate, however, keeps throwing her off balance, and then sending heroically hot paramedic Hunter Knox to save her.

She’s put men on the back burner until she gets her life on track.

Decisions. Decisions.

**Can be read as a stand alone**

REVIEW: EMERGENCY DELIVERY is the second installment in Samanthe Beck’s adult, contemporary LOVE EMERGENCY romance series. This is paramedic Hunter Knox, and barista Madison Foley’s story line. EMERGENCY DELIVERY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Madison and Hunter) EMERGENCY DELIVERY follows Madison Foley as she struggles to make it on her own. On the run from an addicted ex, Madison finds herself involved in a roadside emergency that will change her life forever. Enter paramedic Hunter Knox, whose ‘white knight’ persona finds our hero setting up home, if only temporary, with Madison Foley. What ensues is a slow building relationship between Madison and Hunter, as Madison recovers from her ‘emergency delivery’, and battles the demons from her past.

The relationship between Madison and Hunter begins as a medical emergency. One month later, Hunter discovers that Madison is once again in need of medical care, and offers our heroine a place to stay while in recovery. Their attraction to one another is immediate but Hunter knows that he must tread lightly where Madison is concerned. The $ex scenes are intimate and romantic but are slow in the reveal.

The world building continues to focus on the paramedics; their loves and their happily ever afters. Beau (Emergency Engagement #1) plays a supporting role as Hunter’s work partner; and Beau and Savannah take a permanent step forward towards their own happily ever after. The epilogue fast forwards the story line approximately six years where we get a glimpse at Hunter and Madison’s future, their family, and the possibility of something more. Because of the time-line jump, I am not sure how Samanthe Beck will incorporate the next installment but I am going to presume that six years does not pass before another Love Emergency is in the making.

EMERGENCY DELIVERY is an emotional tale about two people who met under extraordinary circumstances. The premise is enjoyable and entertaining but predictable; the characters are charismatic and animated; the romance is a slow build to a happily ever after.
