Told from several intersecting paths and dual first person perspectives (Matteo and Maria) MAFIA BEAUTY focuses on the building romance and relationship between thirty-one year old Matteo, and twenty-nine year old, radiologist Dr. Maria Mancinelli. Matteo and Maria are/were childhood friends but Matteo’s connection to the Mancinelli meant our hero watched from afar as the woman he loved moved on with her life. Threats against Maria Mancinelli forced Matteo to claim our story line heroine as his own, threats that are about to take aim the entire family.

Matteo was raised alongside the Mancinelli family, best friends with Maria’s older brother Luca. Matteo has been in love with Maria for close to eleven years, and it is time he claimed our heroine as his own. Like all of the previous relationships in the author’s series, there is a Daddy/baby girl dynamic (but no age play or littles). The $ex scenes are provocative and intense.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of powerful and colorful secondary and supporting characters including many members of the Irish Mob, Italian Mafia (aka Cosa nostra), Russian Bratva, Mexican Culiacan Cartel, Japanese Yakuza, and Albanian mobs including the large extended Mancinelli Brotherhood family including Maria’s brothers Luca, Lorenzo and Marco, their parents Massimo and Nicoletta; cousin Carmine, and Carmine’s best friend/brother Gabriele; uncle Salvatore Mancinelli (don of New York), and his wife Sylvia, all who play an active role throughout the series.

MAFIA BEAUTY is a a story of jealousy, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, family, friendships, relationships and love. The premise is detailed, complex and entertaining; the characters are numerous, powerful and determined; the romance is passionate, seductive and erotic.

REVIEW: MAFIA SINNER is the second instalment in Sabine Barclay’s contemporary, adult MANCINELLI BROTHERHOOD dark, erotic, Mafia romance series. This is twenty-eight year olds Carmine Mancinelli, and bakery owner Serafina Carosi’s story line. MAFIA SINNER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. The MANICINELLIBROTHERHOOD series is a spin/interconnected off from the author’s IVANKOV BROTHERHOOD series.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers including violence, BDSM and Daddy/baby girl dynamic (but no age play).

Told from dual first person perspectives (Serafina and Carmine) MAFIA SINNER follows the rebuilding relationship between twenty-eight year olds Carmine Mancinelli, and bakery owner Serafina Carosi. Ten years earlier Carmine Mancinelli humiliated Serafina ‘Fina’ Carosi on the night of their intended betrothal to join two powerful Mafia families but Serafina wanted nothing to do with Carmine, and returned to Sicily with her tail between her legs. Fast forward to present day, Serafina owns a bakery in New York City where she will come face to face with the man who broke her heart. Carmine Mancinelli wants a second chance with our story line heroine but someone behind the scenes is working against our story line couple. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Carmine and Fina, and the potential fall-out as our couple are targeted, and Serafina is caught in the cross fire of a potential war between the Mancinelli’s of New York, and the Carosi’s of Venice, Italy.

Serafina’s father is the don of the Mala Del Brenta of Venice, and the marriage of his daughter with Carmine Mancinelli, the nephew of the don of New York would solidify the power between New York and Italy but Carmine’s betrayal was about to start a war of a different king. A second chance relationship was about to stir up old feeling, and new feelings for potential rivals for Serafina’s hand in marriage. Carmine Mancinelli has always considered himself the black sheep of the family having endured years of mental, emotional and physical abuse at the hands of his extended family but Carmine needs to prove he is worthy of his position within the family, and making amends with Fina is first on his list.

The relationship between Fina and Carmine is one of second chances; a rekindling romance between two people destroyed by the betrayal of Carmine Mancinelli. Serafina and Carmine both participate in the BDSM world, and our heroine, although not a submissive, likes to be controlled in the bedroom, and calling Carmine daddy. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and powerful secondary and supporting characters including extended family, security, Mafia, Cartel and Bratva members threatening war.

MAFIA SINNER is another story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, obsession and madness, family and relationships, friendships and love. The premise is captivating and entertaining ; the romance is provocative and seductive ; the characters are dynamic and charismatic.

REVIEW:  MAFIA HEIR is the first instalment in Sabine Barclay’s contemporary, adult MANCINELLI BROTHERHOOD erotic, Mafia/crime world romance series-a spin off/interconnected with the author’s Ivankov Brotherhood series. This is thirty-one year old, heir to the Mancinelli Brotherhood Luciano ‘Luca’ Mancinelli, and twenty-eight year old, promotions rep Olivia ‘Livy’ D’Amato’s story line. MAFIA HEIR can be read as a stand alone. Any important information from the original series is revealed where necessary. Some of the events of Mafia Heir cross over with some of the events of the Ivankov Brotherhood series.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers including violence, spanking and Daddy/baby girl dynamic (but no age play).

Told from dual first person perspectives (Luca and Livy) MAFIA HEIR follows in the wake of Olivia ‘Livy’ D’Amato witnessing the murder of several members of the Mexican Cartel at the hands of our story line hero. Luca Mancinelli and his men had a deal with the Mexican Cartel but more money was demanded, and Livy was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, as she left work a few minutes early. Saving Livy was a priority for Luca Mancinell, as she is an innocent in the ways of organized crime, but saving Livy meant pulling our heroine into a world she knew nothing about. Under Luca’s protection, Livy would discover that Luca’s kinks and sexual needs were about to become her own when a Daddy/little girl dynamic meant more than our heroine could have imagined. As the Mexican Culliacan Cartel continue to target our story line heroine, betrayal and lies would pull the Mancinelli family into a potential war with the Irish Mob, the Mexican Cartel, and the Russian Bratva. What ensues is the building but highly sexual relationship between Livy and Luca, and the fall-out when secrets reveal a close connection between Livy and everyone involved.

The relationship between Livy and Luca begins as a rescue; an immediate attraction wherein Luca places Livy under the family’s protection, and claims our heroine as his own but something about Livy gives everyone pause, something that even our heroine knows nothing about. Luca is a Dominant, and likes control but Livy is no submissive, and would rather cuddle up to her ‘Daddy’ when he needs a hug from his ‘little girl’. The $ex scenes are aggressive, erotic, provocative and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of powerful and colorful secondary and supporting characters including many members of the Irish Mob, Italian Mafia (aka Cosa nostra), Russian Bratva, Mexican Culiacan Cartel. We are introduced ( re-introduced in some cases) to Luca’s brothers Lorenzo, Marco, and their sister Marie; their parents Massimo and Nicoletta, and their foster-son Matteo (Marco’s best friend) Carlotta and Domenico; Paola and Cesare; and their son, Luca’s cousin Carmine, and Carmine’s best friend/brother Gabriele; uncle Salvatore Mancinelli (don of New York), and his wife Sylvia; and Livy’s parents Maritza and Danny. Several characters from the Ivankov Brotherhood including Maksim and Laura (Bratva Darling 1), and Anastasia. The requisite evil has many faces.

MAFIA HEIR is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, power and control, acceptance and love. The premise is gritty, intriguing and dramatic ; the characters are numerous, animated and dynamic; the romance is spirited and impulsive.
