Told from dual over lapping first person perspectives (Lexi and Maverick) MAVERICK follows attorney Lexi when a phone call from her mother finds Lexi heading to a California biker rally, where she will come face to face with our story line hero but all does not go according to plan when Lexi finds herself on the run with Maverick Hart, a bad-boy biker whose past is complicated, and the mob breathing down their necks. The world building follows several paths, and the complications get longer and darker as the story goes along. REVIEW:Property of Fox is the next in the Mayhem Makers Bastard Boilers MC series by Avelyn Paige. Each book can be read as a standalone, but check your trigger warnings before reading, this is a MC series after all and VERY intense.

Fox isn’t what you would call an “average” biker, yes he’s all about his bike, his club and the open road, but he’s growing as a character and I am all here for it. After agreeing to “fake date” an author to upsell her latest novel, Fox has had just enough of the drama, but when he comes across a pretty redhead at the bar, he’s second guessing the whole fake dating business.

Brea is on the run from her family and dragging her bestie Keira along the way with her. Her step-father is overly controlling and will stop at nothing to get her back under his thumb. When she and Kiera meet the rugged Fox, it is nothing but pure chaos. Brea and Fox fall for each other hard, but when it comes to light who she is, or rather who her step-father is, Fox has a world of hurt he’s going to have to deal with quickly.

While this book was rather fast paced, Brea and Fox are a kick in the pants. The banter between Brea and Fox is so good as is their chemistry, but truly I think all things Brea and Kiera make the book what it is. Oh and Asher, his moment almost physically hurt, I’m gonna need him to get a HEA pretty please!

This is twenty-three year old Devil’s Handmaidens MC prospect Ruby aka Kitty, and tech giant/ software designer Malachi’s story line. Kitty and Malachi first met in DM Earl’s RUNNING WILD.

Property Of Azrael is the first installment in Avelyn Paige’s B*star* Boilers MC series. As a new reader to this author, I was intrigued when I saw that she was basing this off of a book signing. Motorcycles, Mobsters, and Mayhem. With a title signing like that, who wouldn’t be interested.

Hallie is beyond thrilled when she receives an invite to MMM (Motorcycles, Mobsters and Mayhem, it’s a dream come true and as a new author it will be her first signing. Excited to embark on this new momentous adventure, Hallie loads up her klunker of a car and heads to Texas. Little did she know she was in for more than just a signing….

The one thing a woman never wants to happen when she is traveling? A broken down car in the middle of BFE with a storm rolling in and no help in sight. Just when all hope is nearly lost a group of bikers roll up. Instantly nervous, Hallie is alert to the group of men. She does after all write MC romance, she knows how these guys think. Azrael and his brothers are on their way to Mexico for a much needed vacation when they stumble on the author stranded on the side of the road. The connection is intact and powerful. It has been a while since any woman has peaked his interests.

I can’t wait to see what else this series has to offer. The book is filled with humor and hope, intrigue and danger, spicy moments and ones filled with a family of choice. The brothers are loyal, stern men, but with hearts of gold, they protect their own, and Hallie has become that. Hallie and Azrael and the Brothers are books well worth the read.

REVIEW:BLOOD TIES: ALESSIO is the third instalment in Kristine Allen’s contemporary, adult LA FAMIGLIA DE LUCA erotic, Mafia romance series, a part of the multi-authored MAYHEM MAKERS series. This is Alessio ‘The Huntsman’ De Luca, and metal sculptor Nivea Bulgari’s story line. BLOOD TIES can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. There is a slight cross-over with the multi-authored RBMC series.

Told from three first person perspectives (Alessio, Nivea, Jade) BLOOD TIES follows the attempted assassination of Nivea Bulgari. Nivea is the adopted daughter of Matthew and Charlotte Bulgari, and our heroine had recently discovered she was the biological daughter of billionaire businessman Justin Santino. Justin’s sudden death, and the subsequent attempt on our heroine’s life aroused too many questions for the hired gunman. Enter Alessio ‘The Huntsman’ De Luca, and the man with whom Nivea will fall in love.
