REVIEW:BULLSEYE is the eleventh instalment in KL Savage’s contemporary, adult RUTHLESS KINGS MC LAS VEGAS, dark, erotic, MC romance series focusing on the members of the Ruthless Kings MC Las Vegas chapters. This is thirty-six year old, Ruthless Kings MC Sergeant-At-Arms Waylon ‘Bullseye’ Presley, and boutique owner Ruby Raine’s story line. BULLSEYE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Ruby and Bullseye) BULLSEYE follows the building romance and relationship between thirty-six year old, Ruthless Kings MC Sergeant-At-Arms Waylon ‘Bullseye’ Presley, and boutique owner Ruby Raine, Ruby and Bullseye have been dancing around one another for several months but Bullseye struggles with demons from the past and believes he is not worthy of our heroine’s love. Ruby, meanwhile, is struggling to keep her business afloat when she gets an offer she cannot refuse but a late night attack against our story line heroine finds Ruby under the protection and guardianship of Bullseye and the Ruthless Kings MC. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Bullseye and Ruby, and the potential fall-out as Bullseye’s past rears comes back seeking vengeance, promising to continue what was started years before.

Waylon Presley does not remember a time when he was happy. Struggling to move on from the past, our hero considers to suffer, years later, in the aftermath of horrendous sexual abuse at the hands of the people he believed were his family. Years would pass, lives would be lost, and Waylon, now calling himself Bullseye, seeks out a life full of pain and misery. The only bright spot in his life died eighteen years earlier but Ruby’s presence is enough to break down the walls he erected years before.

The relationship between Ruby and Bullseye begins as a mutual attraction but it is not until Ruby is attacked that Bullseye see so much more than the untouchable woman with whom he would fall in love. Ruby Raine knows that there is something dangerous and dark in Bullseye’s past but breaking through his walls will take more than she has the ability to pull forth. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many of the previous story line couples. Everyone’s room has a little history.
Where is his?
I tiptoe to the dresser. Pause. I cut a glance back to the door as if I’m about to get caught, but nothing’s there. After a minute, I continue. I open one drawer and roll my eyes.
Socks.
All mismatched.
“Of course,” I mumble.
I close that drawer and open the next.
Oh. Underwear.
Sexy underwear. None of that saggy Fruit of the Loom shit, but Grade-A nut hugging undies. I hold one up, and it feels like spandex. It has to be some type of stretchy material. Damn, I bet he looks so good in these as they cling to every curve.
Imagining them stretched over his tree trunk thighs, suctioning over his cock, and pulled taut over his plump ass like a second skin.
“God bless the woman who made this man,” I say silently to God, or whoever’s idea it was to make such a fine specimen.
I keep the drawer open because I’m nowhere near done with it. I want to see what else he has in the goody forbidden drawer. “I’ll be back,” I whisper to the sexy spandex briefs. “I’ll miss you.”
My knees pop as I squat to open the last drawer, and what I find surprises me.
It’s empty.
I tap my hand around the drawer, and the back end pops. I freeze. Oh, shit. I’m about to find something I’m not supposed to see. That was the point. This was what I wanted. I take a deep breath. Here it is. Here is Bullseye’s history that he keeps hidden away. Part of me feels terrible for just snooping around like this, but he left me in here, so…
With a slow, careful hand, I take out the board, ready for whatever surprises might be waiting for me. My imagination runs wild—maybe it’s photos of him and his lovers. Maybe it’s a secret stash of mementos. Maybe it’s… oh.
It’s nothing.
Just a bunch of cash and darts. That’s disappointing. I frown and dig around, even more, trying to find a dirty secret, but that’s all I see. Just stacks of cash and some of his darts. Nothing that tells me about Bullseye’s history. I’m coming up empty-handed.
“What are you doing?”
I scream, then hold my hand to my chest when I hear Bullseye’s voice. I look up to see him standing in the doorway, arms crossed and staring at me. “Uh, I’m snooping,” I answer honestly.
His eyes drop to my chest, and that’s when I remember I’m still holding a pair of sexy undies. I’m holding them close since he scared me.
“Need some underwear, Spitfire?” he tsks, walking into the room and shutting the door. “Cash? Both?”
“No.” I toss the underwear in the drawer they belong in and close it, then close the secret cash drawer. “I wanted to find something personal, I guess.”
“Disappointed that you didn’t?” He takes a seat on the bed, and the springs groan from his weight.
“A little bit.” I take the spot next to him and evaluate his face. His eyes are red, as if he’s been crying. A few things start to click together. He doesn’t have anything personal in his room because everything he deems personal, he keeps close to his heart.
So if I want him, if I want to get to know him, I have to earn him.

We don’t speak. We just stare and the room charges with our sexual tension that tends to make others uncomfortable.
“There is a child in the room,” Reaper advises us under his breath while also clearing his throat after, so Maizey hopefully can’t hear the warning.
“Damn, yer making me want more than apple pie.”
“Skirt,” Reaper scolds, but doesn’t have a serious look on his face.
“I need to… uh… go check on Dawn.”
“I’m going to go see Melissa.”
“Yeah, Sarah might need her belly rubbed or something…” Reaper throws it in the pot along with everyone else since they are getting affected by Tongue and I. Well, not us as people, but what we are creating in the air.
Sexual need.
Desire.
Lust.
It’s been too long since I’ve felt him inside me, and I need that to change. I know some people’s love language revolves around hand holding or small gestures, but not mine.
I find reconnection in Tongue with sex because we give each other what we need. Often times, what we need is so much darker than anyone else could ever give. It’s because he’s my soulmate. I never believed in soulmates before him. I believed everyone could love as many people as they wanted. The heart heals when love is taken away and eventually the person learns to love again.
That’s the story I told myself. Since I had never been in love before Tongue, I just thought love was an easy notion. I told myself love was a choice, because there was no such thing as two souls being destined to be together. Even reading all the books I do about love and loss and one true loves, I was skeptical, but it never stopped my curiosity. There was always a part of me that wondered if it was real.
And then the experience with Tongue let me know that love isn’t a choice. We don’t choose love.
It’s decided for us.
Tongue is my fate. The one destiny wrote my life for. When I met him, my life made sense and found purpose.
My soul is linked to his. I know in my heart; I was born to die being loved by him.

Roquelaure’s Sleeping Beauty trilogy, then you’re missing out. Those were my sweet introductions to erotic romance, and boy were they hot.

So here I am, after reading so many wonderful stories, I have too many sinful tales of my own not to share. I like my alphas rough and possessive, and I have no shame in saying it or writing it. Leaving the Chicago MC, and joining the Houston MC are Chains and Chills (Dr. Rebecca), and their son Kobe, as well as prospect Luc, and his girlfriend Ruby. Wraith and Prinie’s story line is next in ADDICTIVE.

EXPLOSIVE is a story of family, friendships, relationships and love; of betrayal and vengeance, power and control; abuse and retribution; communication and trust. I start moving toward the exit. My chest heats so fucking much it’s like I’m on fire. I don’t know what the hell’s happening right now, but having Rayne in my arms, knowing while I’m holding her, and no fucking person in the world can touch her, it has my body flaming in adrenaline.
This woman is bad news.
Real bad fucking news.
Her eyes linger on me as I walk with her from the bedroom, down the hall, and outside to the waiting van. Having her right up against me like this is not doing my cock any favors. She smells like peaches and fucking sunsets.
How the fuck can someone smell like a sunset? It’s like I’m going out of my damn mind right now.
She’s invading my senses as I help her inside the van, placing her in the rear seat.
“I don’t understand why you’re helping me?” Her eyes lock onto mine.
My protector mode rears its head yet again as I lean over her grabbing at the seat belt to pull over her. Our faces come in line with each other.
Rayne scrunches up her face, reaching for the seat belt. “I can put on my own seat belt.”

I pull it back from her and click it into position. “I’m sure you can, but I need to ensure you’re taken care of. Her eyes widen. “There are so many things wrong with what you just said. One, you think I’m incapable of something as simple as doing up a seat belt. And two, you believe your driving is so bad I’m going to be injured on the way to wherever it is you’re taking me?”
“That’s not what I meant—”
“Then you need to think about how you word shit, ‘cause you’re coming across as an arrogant ass.”
I glare at her smug, insolent, beautiful face. “You have an attitude problem, cherry bomb.”
She snorts. “And you think you can control me because I get beaten up by my husband? He might walk all over me, but you…” she tilts her head smugly, “… not so much.”
Hmm. She has a feisty side.
I lean in closer. Her eyes widen, and her breathing hitches. She’s affected. “I like your fighting spirit, Rayne. You are a wild one.”
She leans in closer, we’re only an inch apart, the smell of peach surrounds me. It takes every ounce of strength I have not to rush forward pressing my lips to hers. My eyes stare into her incandescent emerald green eyes, they’re so alive, so alight with fire. She has so much fight in her. As she licks her bottom lip, my cock twitches when she whispers, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”
A low hum vibrates from my chest as I exhale, backing away from Rayne slowly.
