I came to the Rush Riders Motorcycle Club to help a friend out, get them out of trouble, and before I knew it, I became a member. REVIEW:BLUNTED is the first instalment in the contemporary, adult RUSH RIDERS dark, erotic, MC series co-authored by MN Forgy and TL Sims. This is eighteen year old, florist C.Fields, and twenty-seven year old, Ruch Riders MC member and investor Lincoln Thor’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (C. and Linc) BLUNTED follow in the wake of C finding a new place to live, a condo on the outskirts of town, a condo whose only other owner wants C out so he can own it all. Linc is p*ssed that the owners have sold to someone else, and with his mood at an all-time low, Linc begins to target our story line heroine only to discover there is much more to C than he could have ever imagined. With C’s life literally in his hands, Linc begins to suspect our heroine is keeping secrets, secrets that are about to place her in the direct line of fire. What ensues is the building but acrimonious relationship between C and Linc, and the potential fall-out as C’s side business threatens everyone involved.

The relationship between C and Linc is acrimonious at best. Linc wants to buy and renovate the entire condo complex but with a new tenant Linc’s personal life is about to implode. Having followed our story line heroine, Linc will discover that C’s side business places her in the darker regions of town, and her life is threatened on more than one occasion. Wanting to protect C, Linc begins to demand her obedience but Linc continues to struggle with C’s secrets and lies, often treating our heroine in a questionable manner. The $ex scenes are provocative and erotic, and not without some issues of consent and power.

The world building begins to focus on the fight for power and control in a town governed by dealers and drugs, and the Rush Riders MC. Linc is still considered a prospect but his power is much more than someone new to the club. As a businessman, Linc has the ability to make things happen but something is happening in which he no longer has control. Gruff and acerbic, Linc’s attitude is often less than desirable, where as C is often TSTL (too stupid to live).

We are introduced to C’s friends Ben, Parker and Jenna, as well as Linc’s fellow MC members Flynn and VP Billy. The requisite evil has many faces.

BLUNTED is a story of power and control, secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance. The fast paced premise is captivating and intriguing but often switched between telling and showing; the romance struggles in the face of secrets and an imbalance of power; the characters are desperate and determined. BLUNTED ends one a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

On the run to protect the people she loves, Everleigh walked away from Hendrick Masons only to come face to face when he made her an offer she could not refuse, an offer that will hopefully protect Everleigh from the past she is unable to outrun. What ensues is the rebuilding relationship between Everleigh and Daemon, and the potential fall-out as the past demands Everleigh’s return, a return that will see Everleigh facing down the real demons that have destroyed her life.

Hendrick ‘Daemon’ Masons has yet to claim Everleigh as his own. Everleigh is hiding a past that is controlling her life, and in this, Daemon is determined to uncover the truth before it destroys the woman he loves. With the help of his fellow Satan’s Keepers brothers, Daemon goes on the offensive, protecting Everleigh from the past.

The relationship between Everleigh and Daemon has already been established but Everleigh refuses to get too close. Daemon already has a family, a son by a previous relationship, and Everleigh refuse to cross a line between father and son. With Daemon’s love, Everleigh is hoping to overcome the past but the past refuses to let go, revealing a more sinister secret than anyone could have ever imagined. There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and dynamic secondary and supporting characters including most of the previous story line couples. We are reintroduce to Beast who is hoping to claim a woman who is struggling with an attack herself, as well as Josephine’s brother Jamie, and Scythe and Styxx’s cousin Finnegan, a member of a Deep Ops group who clean up when no one else is able.

Property Of Azrael is the first installment in Avelyn Paige’s B*star* Boilers MC series. As a new reader to this author, I was intrigued when I saw that she was basing this off of a book signing. Motorcycles, Mobsters, and Mayhem. With a title signing like that, who wouldn’t be interested.

Hallie is beyond thrilled when she receives an invite to MMM (Motorcycles, Mobsters and Mayhem, it’s a dream come true and as a new author it will be her first signing. Excited to embark on this new momentous adventure, Hallie loads up her klunker of a car and heads to Texas. Little did she know she was in for more than just a signing….

The one thing a woman never wants to happen when she is traveling? A broken down car in the middle of BFE with a storm rolling in and no help in sight. Just when all hope is nearly lost a group of bikers roll up. Instantly nervous, Hallie is alert to the group of men. She does after all write MC romance, she knows how these guys think. Azrael and his brothers are on their way to Mexico for a much needed vacation when they stumble on the author stranded on the side of the road. The connection is intact and powerful. CAPTIVATE is a story of secrets and lies, family and relationships, forgiveness and acceptance, grief and love. The premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance is provocative and intense; the characters are charismatic and strong willed.

REVIEW:TWISTED GLASS is the second instalment in Savannah Rylan’s contemporary, adult TWISTED INTENTIONS, erotic, reverse harem, MC romance series. This is primary school teacher Brielle Lancaster, and MC members President Axton, enforcer Dante, and Maverick’s story line. TWISTED GLASS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including graphic violence against an innocent woman, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from four first person perspectives (Brielle, Axton, Dante and Maverick) TWISTED GLASS follows in the wake of the abduction and torture of our story line heroine. Axton’s MC has been notified to be on the look out for a dangerous and deadly woman, and believe they have found their mark in our story line heroine but Brielle is an innocent; a woman who knows nothing about what is happening or why but she is about to bear the brunt of a vicious interrogation meant to harm and destroy. MC member Maverick begins to struggle with the attack against a woman who denies any involvement, a woman who is about to discover that someone else may be the ultimate target. What ensues is the torture of, and ultimate forgiveness by our story line heroine when a search reveals a twin sister Brielle never knew she had.

Brielle Lancaster was adopted at birth but her critically ill twin was left behind. Fast forward to present day, vengeance at the perceived betrayal has been fixated on anyone who crosses Brielle’s sister’s path, vengeance that is now aimed at our story line heroine.

The relationship between Brielle and her three abductors begins acrimoniously; a tortured woman who is unaware of what is happening or why; an abused heroine who is paying the cost for the sins of someone else. Forgiveness comes quick in the wake of the truth but club president Axton continues to struggle with what he did and why. The $ex scenes are intimate erotic and intense with all four participating in aggressive sexual contact.

The secondary and supporting characters are limited. We are introduced to Brielle’s adopted parents, her sister Rachel Ludick, as well as Blaze, Joules, Jax, Doc and Wolf.

TWISTED GLASS is a story of betrayal, mistaken identity, abuse and forgiveness. The character driven premise is fast paced and heart breaking; the romance is provocative; the characters are troubled and determined.

This is thirty-five year old, former US Marine and Iron Outlaws Sargent at Arms Tyler ‘Spark’ Hyatt, and twenty-seven year old kindergarten teacher Iris O’Connor’s story line. THE GAMES WE PLAY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Some of the events of THE GAMES WE PLAY cross over with, and run parallel to the events of book one THE SINS WE HIDE.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Spark and Iris) THE GAMES WE PLAY follows in the aftermath of the murder of Arthur ‘Camelot’ Hill, the president of the Iron Outlaws MC. Iris O’Connor is the only witness to the hit and run that took the life of Arthur Hill, and Spark and Clutch have been sent to get as much information from our heroine as possible but a drive-by shooting comes close to ending Iris’ life, forcing Spark to become guardian and protector of a woman connected to the powerful Irish Crime Family. In the face of his attraction to Iris, and her affiliation with the Irish mob, the new club president Uther ‘King’ Hills declares Iris off limits but Spark wants to claim Iris for himself. All does not go according to plan when Sparks’ relationship with Iris begins to cause trouble for everyone involved but none more so than Iris when she is forced to do something that could end her relationship and possibly her life. What ensues is the building but forbidden relationship between Iris and Spark, and the fall-out as Iris and several women are targeted by a human trafficking ring, and the Irish Mob may be indirectly involved.

Iris O’Connor wants nothing to do with her Irish Crime family but having lost her parents at an early age, Iris and her brothers were raised by her uncle, an uncle who’s in charge of everything and everyone. Refusing to act upon her uncle’s demands, Iris quickly discovers that breaking from the family is forbidden, and lives are threatened should she walk away. Tyler’ Spark’ Hyatt is a US vet having served with the Marines in a disastrous mission. Suffering with ongoing PTSD, Spark finds his heart and his home with our story line heroine but no amount of love can keep the demons at bay. When Iris is targeted, Spark struggles with the possibility of losing the woman he loves, a woman who carries his heart and his soul but betrayal lines the periphery of his relationship with Iris, and forgiveness may be what the doctor has ordered.

The relationship between Iris and Spark is one of immediate attraction but Iris knows that to get involved with the local MC is tantamount to betrayal within the Irish Mob. Spark has been warned against getting involved with our story line heroine could mean expulsion from the MC he loves. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and aggressive.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Iron Outlaws MC: Clutch and Gwen (The Sins We Hide 1), including club president Uther ‘King’ Hill, treasurer Niro, IT specialist Vex, Track and Tessa, Halo, Switch, club priest Saint; Iris’s brothers Michael and Thomas, and their uncle, Irish mobster Cillian O’Ceallaigh. The requisite evil has many faces. Saint’s story is next.

THE GAMES WE PLAY is a story of power and control, betrayal and retribution, family and relationships, authority and command, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is riveting, dramatic and gripping; the romance is provocative and intense; the characters are determined, desperate and dynamic.

The tattoo across my right hip says it all really. A Life Less Ordinary. Inked by the amazingly talented Luke Wessman at the Wooster Street Social Club (a.k.a. New York Ink). Why is it important? Well, it sums up my view on life. That we should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running strategy. Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up in Canada where I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him. Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know! Should have checked the astrological signs earlier, but somehow it works for us. We have two amazing kids, who I either could never part with or could easily be convinced to sell on e-bay.

I’ve wanted to be a writer for a really long time. Check through my office cupboards or my computer and you’ll find half written stories and character descriptions everywhere. Now I’m getting the chance to follow that dream.

Told from four first person perspectives (Kingpin, Sky, Hallow, Eve) VALENTINE’S EVE follows in the wake of the wedding that wasn’t. Hallow and Eve were supposed to get married but Eve panicked when she discovered she was pregnant then lost the baby, and went on the run to protect the MC from her murderous past. Hallow, embarrassed and humiliated, went on the proverbial war path, returning to the MC only to take out his frustrations on our story line heroine, and every other woman at the club. With his wife Sky slowly recovering from a recent attack and a pregnancy with twins, club president Beau ‘Kingpin’ Strick makes it his mission to claim Eve as his own in the wake of the disappearance of Hallow Hart but a married president with an ol’ lady meant Eve was nothing more than a piece on the side, forcing Eve to run, yet again, knowing she would always come second when it counted. Coming face to face with Kingpin, several months later, revealed the secret Eve was hoping to hide, a secret that is about to tear apart several friendships within the RBMC. What ensues is the building but tempestuous relationship between Eve and Kingpin, and the fall-out as secrets and lies begin to pull the RBMC apart, secrets that reveal betrayal, vengeance and infidelity at every turn.

The relationship between Eve and Kingpin is one of the forbidden. Kingpin is married; his wife is expecting twins but Kingpin’s relationship with his wife has spiralled out of control. Eve continues to profess her love for August ‘Hallow’ Hart, secretly hoping he will return and claim our heroine as his own but Hallow has moved on, and Kingpin is determined to make Eve his own. The $ex scenes are energetic, erotic, and intense.

VALENTINE’S EVE is a complex and detailed story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, infidelity and deception, family and friendships. The premise is dark, gritty, and dramatic; the romance is impassioned and provocative but struggles in the face of miscommunication, false hopes and lies; the characters are desperate, determined and deceitful. VALENTINE’S EVE ends on a happily ever after for now-Morgan Jane Mitchell’s RBMC couples rarely have a permanent happily ever after.
