Meadow is in hiding having escaped the brutal existence that was her earlier life. Meeting Gavril, the head of the Romanian Mafia set Meadow on a path of security and comfort but Meadow never expected to come face to face with the Devil’s Riot MC, a motorcycle club with more connections to her past than she could have ever imagined. This is Grey ‘Grit’ and Leilani ‘Lani’ Mahoe’s story line. INCINERATE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

The requisite evil has many faces.

SHADOW is a dark, gritty, dramatic, intense and traumatic story of terror and abuse; power and control; addiction and obsession; acceptance and love. The premise is tragic, disquieting, heart breaking and may be difficult for some readers; the romance is passionate but atypical; the characters are broken, struggling, and determined.

The tattoo across my right hip says it all really. A Life Less Ordinary. Inked by the amazingly talented Luke Wessman at the Wooster Street Social Club (a.k.a. New York Ink). Why is it important? Well, it sums up my view on life. That we should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running strategy. Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up in Canada where I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him. Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know! Should have checked the astrological signs earlier, but somehow it works for us. We have two amazing kids, who I either could never part with or could easily be convinced to sell on e-bay.

I’ve wanted to be a writer for a really long time. Check through my office cupboards or my computer and you’ll find half written stories and character descriptions everywhere. Now I’m getting the chance to follow that dream.

REVIEW: AXE’S HAVOC is the first instalment in Jean Marie’s contemporary adult WHEEL MONGERS MC erotic, MC romance series. This is Benjamin ‘Axe’ Hobbs, and Kimberly Hall’s story line.

Told from first person perspective (Kimberly) AXE’S HAVOC follows in the wake of our heroine caught between a potential MC war. A call from her delinquent and drug addicted brother Jason finds Kimberly Hall facing down several members of the Road Rage MC. Jason Hall owes money to the Road Rage MC and our heroine is payment for a debt. Fighting for her life, Kim is ‘kidnapped’ aka rescued by a member of the Wheel Mongers MC, a rescue that will place a target on our story line hero. Hoping to protect the woman he will eventually claim as his own, Axe and the Wheel Mongers MC put together a plan to take down the Road Rage MC. What ensues is the building relationship between Axe and Kim, and the potential fall-out as our heroine refuses to sit back and wait for the Wheel Mongers MC to get things done.

Kimberly Hall has no idea about the MC lifestyle but she is about to get a crash course into the who, what and why . In hiding, in disguise with the Wheel Mongers MC Kim finds herself falling for the man who had saved her life but all is not well within the Wheel Mongers MC-a mole is suspected, and every move is countered by the Road Rage MC.

The relationship between Kim and Axe begins as a rescue; a fake relationship needed to protect our story line heroine but fake quickly turns real, and Axe is desperate to protect the woman with whom he will fall in love in the face of her refusing to remain behind and stay out of trouble. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including Zipper, Cowboy, Nuts, Kim’s brother Jason, Red Spades Zerk. We are introduced to Squeaky and Punchy, and club president Joker, whose story is next.

REVIEW: JOKER’S OATH is the second instalment in Jean Marie’s contemporary adult WHEEL MONGERS MC erotic, MC romance series. This is club President Quentin Emilio ‘Joker’ Patterson, and attorney Shannon Armstrong’s story line. JOKER’S OATH can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading the series in order as Joker’s story begins in book one AXE’S HAVOC.

Told from first person perspective (Shannon) JOKER’S OATH focuses on the legal defence of Wheel Mongers MC President Quentin Emilio ‘Joker’ Patterson. At the end of book one, Joker turned himself in for the shooting death of the Road Rage MC president Jackknife. Attorney Shannon Armstrong had been hired to defend our story line hero but from the outset Shannon suspected Joker wasn’t telling the entire story. As the trial progressed, bits of information filtered down, and our heroine began to amass a defence to free the man with whom she will fall in love. What ensues is the dense of Joker, the building romance and relationship between our leading couple, and the potential fall-out when the new president of the Road Rage MC pushes the boundaries between the warring MCs.

The relationship between Joker and Shannon begins when Shannon is hired as Joker’s attorney but threats of another nature have targeted Shannon behind the scenes. With information forwarded from a reluctant witness, Shannon is able to free the man with whom she will fall in love. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to several members of the Wheel Mongers MC including Axe and Kim (Axe’s Havoc), Punchy and Squeaky, Cowboy, and meth dealer Dale Lott. The requisite evil has many faces.

JOKER’S OATH is a story of secrets and lies, power and determination, love and acceptance. The premise is captivating; the romance is provocative with some scenes of spanking; the characters are powerful and dynamic.

Adrien has loved and lost, barely knowing the children he was forced to give up. Refusing to fall in love, or commit himself to forever, Adrien had pushed Sage out of his life, watching from the sidelines as her own life slowly imploded. Claiming Sage was only the beginning but protecting Sage from his past was getting more difficult to do.

The relationship between Sage and Adrien began years before when Sage fell in love with our story line hero. Adrien aka Raptor was older than Sage, and Sage remained untouchable as far as he was concerned. Sage went on with her life, having struggled in a world few knew anything about but falling for Adrien was easy but her low self esteem meant battling the demons that threatened their love. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and seductive.

The secondary and supporting characters include several members of the RBMC: Facet, Phoenix, Blade, Ares, One-Short, Gator, Torque, Tigger ; Adrien’s sons Seth and Sam; his parents Priscilla and Allen, cousins Evan, and Reyn, as well as Adrien’s ex Falina and her husband Hatham.
