There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Bridgette’s son Louie, her sisters Piper, Talia, Willow, and Willow’s fiancé Zane (The Real Thing #1), their brother Benjamin, and their parents Roxie and Dan Dalton. WE are introduced to Bodhi’s mother Alisha Booker, his friend Aurelia, his accountant Shira, and Bodhi’s lovable Great Dane Dahlia. Melissa has plans for all of Bridgette’s siblings.

ONLY FOR YOU is an emotional story line. As Bodhi heads to places unknown Bridgette knows she may never again see or speak to the man that she loves therefore kissing him goodbye is probably her last. The premise is wonderful and heart warming; the characters are colorful, energetic and fun; the romance is captivating and sensual. Review:

The Thrill of Love by Melissa Foster is the 6th book in her The Bradens of Peaceful Harbor, MD.  Melissa Foster always gives us sweet sexy romances, and The Thrill of Love is no different; however there is a twist that takes over the storyline a bit past the half way point that is totally different. 

Ty Braden, a known womanizer and famous mountain climber met his match, in our heroine, Aiyla Bell, a fellow climber and photographer.  They spent 4 days together, when they were both in Saint-Luc and Ty still thinks constantly about the girl who got away.  Months later, in another tournament, to his pleasant surprise, Aiyla is also in the same event in the Colorado Mountains.  This time Ty is determined to not let Aiyla out of his site.  Of course, Aiyla has also not forgotten the gorgeous sexy Ty, but she felt he was not the type to settle down into anything serious.  In a very short time, she will learn that she is wrong and Ty is determined to win her over.  The first half of the book was a fun filled sexy romp between Ty and Aiyla, as well as spending time with his friends, and especially the wonderful Braden family.   Aiyla finds herself totally fitting in with the Bradens and it was a fun time with them all.

Aiyla is bent on winning her events, even if her leg is hurting from overuse.  After a bit, I began to suspect that this will become something more, and at this point the story changes to become more serious, with some heart wrenching moments.  Rather than tell too much more, what follows is an amazing story that brings everyone in Ty’s family, Aiyla’s sister and their friends to help support them. I absolutely loved the Braden family; how they all rallied behind Ty and Aiyla, and totally fell in love with Ty.  He was a fun sexy hero to start, but as time went on, he was awesome and supportive to Aiyla in her need. Aiyla was also a fantastic heroine, and an amazingly strong independent woman, who was strong enough to fight her fears and make mind boggling decisions.

Melissa Foster once again gives us a sensational couple, whom we rooted hard for; but added an element to this romance that gave us some dark moments.  The Thrill of Love was a wonderful story, great couple and terrific secondary characters.   I suggest you find time to read this book, which reads very well as a standalone.

Review:

Bayside Desires by Melissa Foster is the 1st book in her new Bayside Summers series.  I have read many of the Love in Bloom series and the spinoffs.  Melissa is such a prolific author & I have not been able to keep up with her.  However, I have enjoyed every book I have read. Bayside Desires is a new series with characters from previous series.  

Desiree Cleary comes home to Bayside under the impression that her mother needs her help.  When she arrives, her sister also arrives, and she too is under the wrong impression.  Seems their mother is going travelling, and wants her daughters to run her businesses.  Desiree is not happy, as it’s been a long time since she saw her mother and sister, having been growing up with her father after a divorce.  Being forced to stay a few months until her mother returns, Desiree, who is reserved,  will slowly reunite with her wild liberated sister.  

Desiree will also meet Rick Savage, our hero, who is in Bayside to help his brother run their Bayside Resorts.  Both Rick and Desiree are immediately attracted to each other, and despite their differences (he is a fun loving outgoing playboy type and she is a quiet confident reserved type), the chemistry between them will escalate into a full blown hot sexy romance.

Between Violet and Rick, Desiree will become more open to being more liberated, and the fun begins. Besides the sweet romance between Desiree and Rick, they each have issues to get past.  Rick has not gotten over the death of his father years before, and Desiree wishes her mother would pay more attention to her.  One of the best parts in this story was the dog, Cosmo, who was such fun.  I also enjoyed the secondary characters, mostly Rick’s family and Emery, Desiree’s best friend.

This was a fun story, heavily on the sexual side, as well as having some somber moments.  It was nice to see Desiree and Violet bond, even if they are very different.  As we got closer to the end, we weren’t sure if our couple would have a happy ever after, especially since Desiree might stay in Bayside and Rick would go back to Washington, DC.  I enjoyed Bayside Desires, and the finale was sweet.
