This is billionaire businessman Lance Lakewood, and fashion designer Morgan Cristin-Becker’ story line. Lance and Morgan were first introduced to the reader in the KINGS OF THE BOARDROOM series.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Lance and Morgan) DEEP POCKETS focuses on the tempestuous relationship between our story line couple. Morgan Cristin-Becker has been in love with her sister Gwen’s best friend Lance Lakewood all of her life but Morgan felt Lance’s rejection down to her soul, and in the ensuing years struggled to move on with her life. When Morgan’s sister Gwen married to protect our heroine, Morgan has struggled to move on from the past including numerous betrayals at the hands of their father but Lance is determined to protect his best friend’s sister, even if it means getting up close and personal with the people who have destroyed her life. All is not well as Lance and Morgan’s relationship takes a turn for the better, when Lance’s past takes aim at our story line couple.

The world building follows several paths including the dysfunctional family dynamics of both Lance’s and Morgan’s estranged families. Lance grew up in a world of danger and death, as Morgan discovered her own life had been predicated upon a series of lies.

The relationship between Morgan and Lance is one of unrequited love; of obsession and heart break; of secrets and lies. Lance is desperate to protect our story line heroine but keeping secrets will push Morgan out of his life, into a world of danger and madness. The $ex scenes are provocative and impassioned without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Daman and Ari) ROYAL HEART follows former childhood friends as they are forced to work together in an effort to steal back the ROYAL HEART, A Winston Isles Crown Jewel. Ari was never a part of Damon and her father’s world of high end thievery, and in this, Ari has watched from the sidelines as her fathered mentored someone else. Desperate to prove he is worthy of a second chance, Damon’s slow seduction of Ari is aided with their masquerade as a married couple. The $ex scenes are erotic, and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Winston Isles Royals Penny Walsh (Cheeky Royal /Cheeky King) and Prince Lucas (Royal Bastard/ Bastard Prince): Security specialist Galen Trent owner and head of GT securities. The requisite evil has many faces.

ROYAL HEART is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, forgiveness and acceptance, relationships and love. The premise is intriguing and entertaining; the romance is fated and provocative; the characters are desperate and charismatic.

With the holidays approaching, Jamie is heading to the small town of Hope, New York where she will come face to face with her brother Matt’s best friend Cole Nichols, but the lodge has overbooked, and Jamie finds herself spending the holidays with our story line hero. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate and intense.

There secondary and supporting characters are limited. We are introduced to most via phone calls including acquisitions manager Jake, and Jamie’s head of marketing Becca Long.

MISTLETOE EVER AFTER is a story of betrayal and greed, self esteem and reluctance, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is thought provoking and dramatic; the romance is spicy; the characters are desperate and determined.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Atticus and Gwen) MERGER focuses on Gwen’s recovery after an attempt on her life. Atticus believes he failed his wife, and in this, begins to pulls away as he searches for the person (s) responsible including the possibility of someone he knows. As Atticus, Gwen and Micah begins a deep dive into several potential suspects, Atticus’ past finds a way to prove no one is safe is one is determined enough to get through.

The world building focuses on the hunt for a gunman; the search for the person responsible; embattled family morals and dysfunctional family dynamics, as well as Gwen and Atticus struggle to keep their marriage healthy and well.

The relationship between Atticus and Gwen is highly sexual and provocative but in the wake of the attempt on Gwen’s life, Atticus begins to pull away, fearing he has failed to protect the woman he loves. Gwen is determined to prove she is a survivor, and sets out to take back what was once hers to control. The $ex scenes are erotic and passionate.

Once again, we are reintroduced to Gwen’s sister Morgan, Atticus’ brother Micah, their father Lucian, as well as Atticus’ friend and driver Gavin, and Gwen’s best friend Lance who is struggling with his attraction to forbidden fruit. Mogan’s story line is next.

MERGER is a story of obsession, betrayal and madness, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The fast paced, character driven premise is edgy, intriguing and impassioned; the romance is spicy, provocative and intense; the characters are determined, desperate,and animated.

Now working in London, Gwen will come face to face with the man who broke her heart but all is not as it appears to be, and Gwen will be targeted by the man at the top. Several attempts on Gwen’s life finds Atticus both guardian and protector of the woman he loves but someone is determined to take down our story line heroine.

The world building continues to focus on the tempestuous relationship between our story line couple, and the ongoing dysfunctional dynamics of two families whose lives have been upended by one of their own.

The relationship between Gwen and Atticus is a roller coaster of secrets and lies. Gwen’s life is in danger but our heroine is often TSTL demanding her independence, often times placing herself in the direct line of fire. Atticus continues to struggles between wanting to protect Gwen at all costs, and destroying the man who is taking aim at our story line couple. The love scenes are provocative and intense but, once again, I dislike the use of a certain four letter word, although only used once, more for shock than anything else.

We are reintroduced to Gwen’s sister Morgan, and their questionable father James Becker; Atticus’ brother Micah, their mother Jessica, Atticus’ driver Gavin, as well as Gwen’s best friend Lance Lakewood. The requisite evil is someone familiar.

ACQUISITION is a story of power and control, secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, greed and jealousy, family and friendships, forgiveness and love. The character driven premise is dramatic, gritty and twisted; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are animated and dynamic. ACQUISITION ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

MISTLETOE HEARTS is a story of family and friendships, acceptance and love. The fast paced, character driven premise is predictable but sweet and captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are energetic and determined.

REVIEW: BROKEN PROMISE is the third instalment in the contemporary, adult BROKEN erotic romance suspense series co-authored by M. Malone and Nana Malone. This is former assassin/former FBI agent turned security specialist Rafe DeMarco, and Diana Renquist-Vandergraff’s story line. BROKEN PROMISE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading book one BROKEN TRUST for back story.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Diana and Rafe) BROKEN PROMISE follows the building relationship between Rafe DeMarco and Diana Rehnquist, a relationship predicated upon a number of lies. Ten years earlier Diana lost everything, and blames Rafe DeMarco for it all. Having set a plan into motion to destroy our story line hero, Diana lies about who she is, in an effort to get up close and personal with Rafe DeMarco but Diana never expected to fall in love. Rafe, for all intents and purposes, is easily manipulated by our story line heroine, and finds himself at a disadvantage on more than one occasion. We are reintroduced to the team at Blake Security: Noah and Lucia, Jonas, Oskar, Ian and JJ, as well as Interpol Agent Emelie Durand.

JJ and Jonas’ story line is next.
