ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 31, 2019

Loki wants to end the world
Only immortal Vikings can stop him…if she can cure them

Scott Brisbane has been in love with immortal Viking healer Irja Vainio for years, but as a human, let his fear hold him back. Now that Scott has finally earned his place with the tribe whose king his sister married, there’s nothing standing in the way of his true feelings. But Irja knows that getting close to someone is a death sentence…

When the Viking warriors start falling into comas one by one, Irja is desperate to stop the illness from spreading. Without a cure, she’ll have to rely on magic she hasn’t used for centuries–magic that taught her to never let anyone get close. When the evil god Loki offers her the cure, it comes with a steep price that could cost Irja and Scott everything.

•••••••••

REVIEW: This is book three in the series (I don’t think I missed too much in the other books, this is billed as a stand-alone) but I did feel there were a few things that I was missing ….

Scott is a human that has been adopted by the Vikings his sister has married into (Book 1 Viking Warrior Rising) he doesn’t want to be a burden so he trains hard with the warriors, he also has an inner warning system (think this developed over the last two books) so if trouble is near, Scott gets a warning and can act. After recovering from a coma (not sure how and why) Scott thinks he has to prove himself and to a certain Viking healer…..

Irja is a Viking healer, but going to a human medical school was unheard of, but she uses it well. She does have magic, but she rarely uses it (for her the price is too high) she’s a pretty powerful being, she just keeps it locked down.

Pekka is her twin, (he’s a complicated character, hoping he gets a book) she loves her brother (but he is a major pain in her life) he was caught and held a prisoner by Loki, he came back different, (but I suppose being was tortured changes people.)

Wolverines are modified creatures made by Loki (our baddie in this series) and this is what the vampire warriors are fighting. Yes Loki is the Viking God of Chaos, and apparently a really nasty piece of work. (He might be in the other books, but in this one, he just comes across as annoying!!)

The main characters have known each other for a while, Scott has deeper feelings for Irja (well he thinks he does) he’s loved her for ages, he thinks she only sees him as a former patient. When in fact Irja has liked him for a while, she just can’t show it. They have to work together when a mysterious virus attacks their King and then starts to attack the rest of the Vikings and Valkyrie. And when they find out Loki is behind it, and he offers them a cure (but at a big price) will they take it? And is Scott turning into something more? Are the premonitions the start of something? Rumours have started, could they be true?

I really liked this story. I’m definitely going back to book one. I did feel I was missing certain facts that maybe the other books would supply.

It was really well written. I liked the interaction between the main characters, I liked the fact Irja wasn’t sure, and in fact kept her but also the banter between the warriors and Scott.

The descriptions were done really well, I could picture scenes really easy. The story flowed really well

You definitely need to read this one.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 18, 2019

Good girl Isabella wouldn’t miss the birth of her sister’s baby for the world. So when her car breaks down and one of the bikers next door offers her a ride to Vegas, it’s too tempting to pass up. Besides, she can think of worse travel conditions than wrapping her arms around Renny, otherwise known as Renegade.

Tall, dark and handsome, the man is pure sex on a Harley.

Between wild parties and rumbling motorcycles, living next to the Knights of Fury MC has always left Isabella curious, but after a night in Vegas, she gets a firsthand taste. Drinks in the club surrounded by burly bikers soon turns into a series of daring decisions, which don’t seem so bad until she wakes up the next morning. Married. To Renny.

Could she be more of a cliché?

Nothing complicates an annulment like lingering temptation, especially when Isabella and Renny give in to their need, putting their marriage where their mouths are. But as Isabella learns what outlaw life is really like, she’ll have to decide if she’s in love with a biker—or in over her head.

••••••••

REVIEW: RENEGADE is the second instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult KNIGHTS OF FURY MC romance story line focusing on the members of the Knights of Fury MC. This is Jasper ‘Renegade aka Renny’ Steel, and graphic designer Isabella Johnson’s story line. RENEGADE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from first person perspective (Isabella) RENEGADE follows the building relationship between Jasper ‘Renegade aka Renny’ Steel, and graphic designer Isabella Johnson. On her way to visit her pregnant sister in Vegas, Isabella Johnson experiences car trouble and finds herself on the back of a motorcycle driven by Knights of Fury MC member Renegade Steel. A wild night of drinking results in a Vegas wedding between Isabella and Renny, a marriage that Isabella quickly wants annulled but upon their return home Renegade begins a slow seduction of the woman with whom he will fall in love, a woman who will soon discover that betrayal comes from many directions. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Renny and Isabella, and the potential fall-out when secrets and lies all but destroy Isabella’s faith in the man with whom she is falling in love; and a rival MC targets not only the Knights of Fury but the Mayor himself.

Isabella and her sister Ariel have been estranged from their father for several years and Isabella’s relationship with Renny adds fuel to a fire that continues to burn. When Ariel moves in with our story line heroine, Ariel’s past threatens their well-ordered world, a world that now involves the Knights of Fury MC.

The relationship between Isabella and Renny is one of immediate attraction but based upon a lie and circumstance out of Isabella’s control. Renny has struggled to introduce himself to their beautiful new neighbor, an introduction that now involves a Vegas wedding, a potential annulment, and threats against the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Saint and Skylar, Temper, Trade, Dee, Chains and Crow; Isabella’s sister Ariel and her ex Merve; as well as their father.

RENEGADE is a story of betrayal, secrets and lies; family, friendship, romance and love. The premise is engaging, entertaining and captivating; the characters are energetic and dynamic; the romance is seductive but predicated on a lie.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 12, 2019.

I should have told her everything.

How much I loved her.
How much I’ve always loved her.
But I didn’t.
I couldn’t.
I just wasn’t made that way.

Instead… I claimed her.
Teased her.
Taunted her.
Worshipped her.
Until… I broke her.

My best friend.
My savior.
My girl.

From my mind to my heart, to every single bone in my body.
She owned me.
I was hers.

Every look.
Every kiss.
Every touch.
Every tear.

It was always her.

The only thing I feared more than losing her was forgetting her.
I hated how much I needed her.

She was mine.
Always and forever.

I hated her .

But Harley Jameson was about to find out how much…

I LOVED her now.

••••••••••••

REVIEW: LOVE YOU NOW is the second instalment in M. Robinson’s contemporary, adult LOVE HURTS duet. LOVE YOU NOW is the continuing story of Harley Jameson and Jackson Pierce-the next generation in the author’s Good ‘Ol Boys series. LOVE YOU NOW should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events of book one HATE YOU THEN.

Told from dual first person perspectives Harley and Jackson jumping back and forth between several time lines, LOVE YOU NOW follows the acrimonious and dysfunctional relationship between Harley Jameson and Jackson Pierce. Raised in the MC lifestyle, Harley Jameson is a strong, independent heroine whose overprotective family finds Harley struggling to move forward with her life. Having fallen in love with her life-long nemesis Jackson Pierce, Harley finds herself in a love-hate relationship; a caustic and petulant love affair with a man she is unable to trust since she was fifteen years old. Life and everything it has to offer finds Jackson and Harley in a loveless marriage of convenience, a marriage Harley believes to be in name only.

LOVE YOU NOW focuses on the back and forth, immature and emotionally volatile relationship between Harley and Jackson. As Jackson’s star continues to rise on the professional football circuit, Harley feels forced into keeping up appearances for the sake of Jackson’s career. We are witness to what was and what will never be; to the fall-out of friendship and love by betrayal, secrets, lies and loss.

M. Robinson pulls the reader into a heart breaking story between two flawed people with issues of trust; broken by secrets and lies, and a lack of communication. Jackson’s need to push Harley’s buttons forces our heroine to lock down and check out affecting their relationship, going forward.

LOVE YOU NOW is a not a story of romance but a love affair hidden behind pain and mistrust. The premise is engaging; the romance is tormented, difficult and impassioned; the characters are colorful but adolescent-like in attitude and behavior.

ABOUT THE BOOK Release Date November 5, 2019

Running the family B&B has always been Cassidy Ryan’s dream. But first, she has to save it from neglect.

Closing the doors to the Silver Bell Inn for the holiday seasons seems like the perfect plan to give the B&B some much needed love and care. Or at least it would be if the inn didn’t need a lot more work than Cassidy can handle on her own. She needs help. But asking it is the last thing she wants to do.

Getting stuck in Silver Bell Falls was not part of Beckham Allen’s plans. Neither was this cross-country road trip, for that matter. He was supposed to be focusing on himself and on healing after the loss of his father. But nothing, not even his rescue dog Mazie, seems to be able to break him out of his funk.

Or so he thought until he met the sweet innkeeper who takes him in.

After an awkward start, Cassidy and Beckham discover the perks of being snowed in together. And with Christmas drawing closer, they find they may have just been given the greatest gift of all.

•••••••••

REVIEW: CHRISTMAS INN LOVE is the fifth instalment in Samantha Chase’s contemporary, adult SILVER BELL FALLS romance series focusing on the town and people of Silver Bell Falls, New York. This is B&B owner Cassidy Ryan, and former professional football player Beckham Allen’s story line. CHRISTMAS INN LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

With no available lodging Beckham is forced to take a room at the Silver Bell Inn B&B, where the proprietor struggles to accept Beckham at face value. Enter Cassidy Ryan, owner and manager of the B&B, and the woman with whom Beckham will fall in love. What ensues is the building but forbidden relationship between Beckham and Cassidy, and the potential fall-out as Beckham’s time in Silver Bell Falls comes to an end.

Cassidy Ryan is struggling to complete the renovations to the Silver Bell Inn. With no plans for the Christmas holidays, Cassidy sets her sights on Valentine’s Day hoping the Inn will be refurbished on time. Beckham Allen is bored out of his mind in Silver Bell Falls, and battles between head and heart when it comes to ‘aiding’ our heroine with her ongoing renovations but a call from a friend finds Beckham leaving town sooner than he had anticipated.

Having bought the Inn from her newly retired parents, Cassidy found the upkeep and renovations to be more then she could afford especially for our heroine who struggles to be independent and on her own. ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 11, 2019

Rule #1: Don’t fall in love. Rule #2…see rule #1…

Grace Williams doesn’t need a hero. She can take care of herself, thank you very much. Surviving foster care and becoming a respected scientist certainly taught her how. Now, she’s finally ready to do something for herself and have a baby. All she’ll need is a genetically blessed donor who won’t get any ideas in his head about sticking around after the job’s done. And she has the perfect gorgeous, commitment-phobic donor in mind.

Liam McNamara doesn’t want a relationship. Being abandoned by his mother at a young age and his failed marriage cured him of any romantic notions he might’ve had. But when his best friend’s sexy older sister asks him for a favor, he can’t say no. And if he manages to give her a few–or a few hundred–orgasms in the process? All the better. It’s a winning proposition all the way around.

It’s not long before their best laid plans are blown out of the water by the last thing either of them expected to get out of the deal–genuine feelings. Maybe love isn’t such a losing proposition after all…

•••••••••••••

REVIEW: PROPOSITIONING THE PLAYBOY is the second instalment in JM Stewart’s contemporary, adult THE BLUE ROOM erotic, romance series. This is thirty-five year old scientist Grace Williams, and co-owner of the Blue Room Liam McNamara’s story line. PROPOSITIONING THE PLAYBOY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Liam and Grace) PROPOSITIONING THE PLAYBOY follows the brother’s best friend to lovers relationship between thirty-five year old scientist Grace Williams, and co-owner of the Blue Room Liam McNamara. Grace Williams is thirty five years old, with no current prospects for the future, and in such, our heroine has considered becoming a single mother. Having lusted after her brother’s best friend and business partner Liam McNamara for as long as she can remember, Grace makes Liam an offer he struggles to refuse-father her child, the old fashion way leaving Grace to raise their child, on her own. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Grace and Liam, and the potential fall-out as their time together comes to a close.

Liam McNamara is the co-owner of the high-end sex club The Blue Room but is taken aback when his best friend’s sister takes advantage of what the club has to offer. Having been raised in the foster care system along with Grace’s brother Jake, Liam vowed never to have children but struggled with someone else fathering Grace’s child.

The relationship between Grace and Liam is one of immediate attraction; a best friend’s sister relationship wherein Liam has promised to look after Grace but in doing so believes he should keep his distance for the sake of his friendship. Grace Williams has issues of low self esteem, and struggles to achieve the almighty ‘O’. There are some scenes of light bondage and sensory depravation. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to Liam’s partners at The Blue Room: Hunter and Jenna (Seducing the Billionaire #1), Jake Williams, and Max.

PROPOSITIONING THE PLAYBOY is a spicy story of family and love. The premise is engaging and inviting; the romance is tender and sensual; the characters are energetic, and spirited.

Grace stopped a few feet in front of him and pulled her shoulders back, as if she were preparing to fight the board of some big company. “First of all, I’m not asking you to play daddy. I just need you to make a donation.”“A donation?” Oh, he knew what she meant, but he wanted to hear her say the words. It was childish, but if he was going to squirm his way through this conversation, he for damn sure didn’t want to do it alone.

Her eyes narrowed. “Sperm, Liam. You do understand how babies are made?”

He laughed and held up his hands. “I’m sorry. That wasn’t nice. Apparently, the subject brings out my inner twelve-year-old. We’re here”—he waved a hand in the direction of the doorway, indicating the house around them—“of all places, and you want to talk about sex.”

She cleared her throat. “Not sex. Babies.”

“That’s how babies are made, Grace.” He shouldn’t have said that, but the way her face flushed made the tease worth whatever torture would follow. Damned if she wasn’t more beautiful with her cheeks glowing.

As expected, though, all that flush did was fuel those fantasies he shouldn’t be thinking about. The one memory he didn’t have was the one he wanted the most—what she looked like in the throes of an orgasm.

To her credit, Grace didn’t otherwise react. Rather, she held his gaze, her expression all business. “Having a child is the only thing I can’t do alone. By its very nature, it requires a partner. Which is where you come in. It would be a contract between us. I need your sperm, and I’m willing to pay you. And as I mentioned, I’m not asking you to play daddy. In fact, I’d insist on—”

“Why me?” Because if she didn’t stop talking about sperm, he’d go insane. “All things considered, I would have thought I’d be the last person you’d ask.”

Grace dropped her gaze, smoothing a hand across her thigh, as if wiping off invisible crumbs. “Because you’re exactly the type of man I need. You’ve never made it a secret that you have no desire for commitment, which means you wouldn’t want to be a part of my child’s life much less fight me for it.”

JM Stewart writes heartfelt contemporary romance. Whether the heat level is sizzling or sweet, her stories are always deeply emotional. Her heroes are strong but sensitive (no alpha jerks here!), and her heroines are more Cinderella than Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Recently transplanted, she now lives in a small town in Texas along with her husband, two sons and two very spoiled dogs. When not writing, she enjoys reading, cooking and playing computer games. As a sensitive soul with a romantic heart, she believes in angels and hopes everyone finds their happily ever after.

REVIEW:UNDER THE MISTLETOE is the fourth ( and final) instalment in Deborah Cooke’s contemporary, adult SECRET HEART INK romance series –a spin off/companion series to the author’s Flatiron 5 series. This is tattoo artist Chynna, and thirty-eight year old, restaurateur Trevor Graham’s story line. UNDER THE MISTLETOE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

SOME BACKGROUND: Secret Heart Ink is a tattoo shop, owned by the mysterious Chynna, located in Manhattan’s Flatiron Five. Along with her sidekick Tristan, during the full moon, Chynna creates one magical tattoo to set two hearts afire in the hopes of the recipient finding ever-lasting love but now it was Chynna’s turn to find love.

NOTE: UNDER THE MISTLETOE runs parallel to, and crosses over with BAD CASE OF LOVING YOU (Flatiron Five #5)

Told from several third person perspectives including Chynna and Trevor UNDER THE MISTLETOE focuses on the building relationship between Chynna and Trevor at the Christmas wedding between Gabe and Lexi (One Hot Summer Night #3). Lexi had been the recipient of one of Chynna’s magical heart tattoos, and as such Chynna had been invited to Lexi and Gabe’s holiday ceremony but Chynna had destroyed her own chance at a happily ever after years before, and struggles with the idea of attending Lexi’s wedding. With the insistence of her ‘companion’ Tristan, Chynna makes the trip to Honey Hill, Maine where she will meet her future in the guise of restaurateur Trevor Graham. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Trevor and Chynna, and the potential fall-out as Trevor is offered a position far from the woman with whom he is falling in love.

Trevor Graham’s time at Wolfe Lodge in Honey Hill, Maine comes with an expiry date but meeting the beautiful and mysterious tattoo artist Chynna gave Trevor pause as he reconsidered his future plans. Having never settled down in one place long enough to fall in love, Trevor is hoping for something more with the enigmatic Chynna. Chynna has loved and lost, and in this she hopes for happiness and love for everyone else but something about Trevor Graham begins to break down the defences of our story line heroine, defences that have been in place for a very long time.

The relationship between Trevor and Chynna is quick to develop; a fast paced romance that brings together two broken souls who have become successful business people but struggle in their own personal lives. Chynna’s quiet persona hides a damaged heart, a heart that will begin to heal with our story line hero. The $ex scenes are passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary including all of the previous story line couples: Olive and Spencer (Snowbound #1) , Reyna and Kade (Spring Fever #2), Gabe and Lexi (One Hot Summer Night), Theo Tremblay (Bad Case of Loving You #5), as well as several Lodge employees, family and friends.

UNDER THE MISTLETOE is an emotional and thought provoking story line. The premise is captivating ; the characters are enthusiastic; the romance is tender and seductive. UNDER THE MISTLETOE is a heart warming and welcome final chapter in the author’s Secret Heart Ink series.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 10 2019

I knew JC was trouble the minute I laid eyes on him.

Breaking every rule in my club. I never forget how he made me feel that night. With all the women in that room, all those bodies on display, but his eyes were only on me.

Of course I married him. Now years have passed. Kids have been born. We’re still in love as always, and the sex is still fantastic…

And yet, it’s also not. Like many who’ve been married for a while, I long for the high intensity of those days of the past.

I’ve heard rumors for years about the Open Door. An ultra-exclusive voyeur’s paradise. A place to participate in—or watch—any kind of display you can imagine.

My husband’s eyes would still be on me. And maybe other eyes too. If that’s what we want.

So when an invitation to come play arrives, how could we turn it down?

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

REVIEW: THE OPEN DOOR is the latest novella in Laurelin Paige’s contemporary, adult THE FOUND DUET erotic, romance series, and the latest instalment in the multi-authored 1001 Dark Nights. This is the continuing story of billionaire JC Bruzzo, and night club manager Gwen Anders. The Found Duet is a spin off from Paige’s FIXED SERIES but you do not have to have read the previous series to understand the premise.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line content there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers including FFM sexual situations and rape play/fantasy.

Told from first person point of give (Gwen Anders) THE OPEN DOOR follows billionaire JC Bruzzo, and night club manager Gwen Anders as they take advantage of an invitation to participate at The Open Door exclusive $ex club for the rich and famous. With three young children Gwen finds herself wondering if their $ex life is no longer in the cards but an invitation to The Open Door peaks our couple’s curiosity, a curiosity that threatens Gwen’s fragile hold on her self-esteem when jealousy threatens their nights alone.

THE OPEN DOOR is a story of one couple struggling to amp up their relationship, a relationship Gwen believes is threatened by motherhood and time. Eagerness gives way to participation but anxiety and jealousy frighten our heroine when her limits are tested at The Open Door. The premise is erotic and intense; the characters are animated and seductive; the romance is passionate and raw.

In 2013, Laurelin Paige self-published her first novel. Her husband was just laid off, she had three kids, one with special needs, and they had just filed for bankruptcy so she needed this novel to work. Less than 1 year later, her debut novel, Fixed on You, was at the top of the bestseller lists and was named one of the top ten selling books of 2014 by Publishers Weekly (the only self-published book to do so) and a Top Ten Favorite Read of 2014 by People Magazine. Her successive self-published novels have been smash hits with readers.

Laurelin Paige is the NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author of the Fixed Trilogy. She’s a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters.
