About the book: RELEASE DATE November 28, 2017

First love is better the second time around.

Matt Osborn had no idea coaching his five-year-old nephew’s soccer team would get him so much attention from the mothers-attention he doesn’t want now that he’s given up on love and having a family of his own. Yep, Matt’s the last of his bachelor buddies, and plans on staying that way. That is, until he finds himself face-to-face with the woman who broke his heart.

Single mom Anna paused her life in England to help her father recover from an illness. She can’t afford complications, and too-hot-for-his-own-good Matt Osborn-her almost former fiancé-is definitely a complication. He’s a reminder of what might have been-or should have been. That irresistible pull between them isn’t over. Not even close. But if she’s not careful, she’ll break both their hearts . . . again.

••••••••••••

REVIEW: ALWAYS YOU is the third (and final) instalment in Denise Grover Swank’s contemporary, adult BACHELOR BROTHERHOOD romance series focusing on three friends (Kevin, Tyler and Matt) who call themselves The Bachelor Brotherhood. This is construction company operator / soccer coach Matt Osborn, and single mom/international financial consultant Annaliese Fischer-Robins story line. ALWAYS YOU can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. The Bachelor Brotherhood series is a spin off from the author’s The Wedding Pact Series but you do not need to have read the previous series to enjoy The Bachelor Brotherhood.

SOME BACKGROUND: Years earlier, best friends Matt Osborn, Tyler Norris, and Kevin Vandemeer, following three mutually disastrous relationships and breakups, loosely formed what came to be known as the Bachelor Brotherhood. Tyler and Kevin quickly found love but our hero struggled with moving forward, never forgetting about the woman that broke his heart.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Anna and Matt) ALWAYS YOU follows the rekindling romance between former lovers Anna Fischer-Robins, and Matt Osborn, whose relationship twelve years earlier was destroyed when Anna walked out of Matt’s life in order to pursue a career in international finance. Fast forward to present day, wherein Anna Fischer, now a single mother of a five year old son, returns home to help her ailing father. Registering Toby for soccer, Anna will come face to face with her past-Matt Osborn-the man whose heart she broke when she refused his proposal of marriage, and any chance at a happily ever after. What ensues is the second chance relationship between two people who have never stopped loving one another in the face of heartbreak, pain and thousands of miles of open sea, and the potential fall out when Anna’s recent past comes looking for a second chance.

Matt Osborn was destroyed the day Anna Fischer walked out of his life claiming she didn’t want marriage or children but was destined for the world of international finance overseas. Caring for his sister’s five year old son Ethan has our hero longing for a family of his own with a woman whose return to America is only temporary and fleeting. Anna’s return to US soil finds our heroine a divorced mother of one blowing all of her personal proclamations out of the water adding more anger to an already tepid situation between she and the man she once loved.

The relationship between Anna and Matt is one of second chances; a rekindling romance that quickly develops into something more but something that may only be temporary as Anna is legally obligated to return overseas. Matt’s seduction of Anna pulls our heroine closer to the man she would always love but a man, who for so long, struggled in the face of betrayal and lost love. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.

Lanie and Tyler (Until You #2), and Kevin and Holly (Only You #1) return as secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to Anna’s father Albert Fischer, her son Toby, and her ex-husband Phillip Robins; as well as Matt’s nephew Ethan, his mother, and his sister Abby Osborn.

ALWAYS YOU is a sweet story of second chances; a delightful and heart warming tale of one man’s struggle to let go of the past; and one woman’s battle to secure her future. The premise is enjoyable; the romance is tender and fated; the characters are colorful and real.

Excerpt

What would make her happy was standing right in front of her, and she was struggling to remember why this was a bad idea. “I have an appointment at one,” she said. “Another assisted living center tour. With the friend you recommended.”
“We can work around it.”
She should turn him down. She knew she should, so why was she saying, “Okay.”
He smiled, looking more like good-natured Coach Matt and not Alpha Male Matt, the man she’d gotten to know well in her bed twelve years ago.
Damned if she didn’t want Alpha Matt.
He was less than two feet from her, watching her with an intensity that suggested he knew he was making her squirm and loving every minute of it.
“Great,” Matt said, as though he hadn’t made the air temperature rise twenty degrees just from the timbre of his voice. “If you want, Toby can stay with us when you go to your appointment, and then we’ll all go after you’re done.”
“Yeah.” It was a great plan, but standing this close to him made her nervous. She didn’t trust herself to walk out the door without doing something foolish, like kiss him, because right now that seemed like a real possibility. “I should go.” She took a step back and lost her footing.

Matt reached for her, snaking an arm around her back and pulling her upright against him.
Anna sucked in a breath at the contact. Her hands rested on his chest, and she realized it was just as solid as she’d remembered. Shivers ran up her arms and she found herself molding her body to his.
His hand stayed in place on her back, pulling her even closer.
She knew she should back away, but she wanted this, wanted him, and that was dangerous. She was a mother now. Her son had to come first.
“I can’t stay, Matt,” she said again, feeling like a broken record, but she had to make sure he didn’t feel deceived by her again. He deserved full honesty. “I have to think about Toby. I can’t hurt him.”
He looked surprised. “Anna, I would never willingly hurt Toby.”
“But this…us…if we do this…” Did she confess her son’s deepest desire for a father to love him and her worry that this would only confuse him? Was it her secret to tell? “I have to think about Toby. And Ethan.”
“We’re not going to hurt them, Anna.”
“We might. If we get too close.” I might get hurt if we get too close.
Too late for that…
He kept his hand on her back, and lifted the other to the side of her neck. He didn’t answer, at least not with words. He lowered his face, his lips gently brushing hers.
Her breath caught. His touch was like a jolt of electricity to her heart, bringing her back to life.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 28, 2017

She’s everywhere.

Ex-wife.

Love of his life.

The last person in the world he wanted to see…ever.

And now that he’s working beside her every day, he can’t escape her. Her scent, glimpses of her smile, even the tension in the air that makes his body hum with the kind of need he’d only experienced with one person-all of it is driving him over the edge.

Brant Wellington was certain of three things:

Alcohol wasn’t going to solve this.

He really was losing his F-ing mind.

And his gorgeous ex-wife was going to be the death of him.

•••••••••••••

REVIEW:  THE BACHELOR CONTRACT is the third instalment in Rachel Van Dyken’s contemporary, adult THE BACHELORS OF ARIZONA romance series focusing on the Wellington brothers Brock, Bentley and Brant. This is hotel manager Brant and spa masseuse Nikki Wellington’s story line. THE BACHELOR CONTRACT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Brant and Nikki) including memories from the past, THE BACHELOR CONTRACT is a second chance romance for new hotel manager Brant, and masseuse Nikki. Four years earlier Brant and Nikki’s life imploded leaving our couple a shell of their former selves. Fast forward to present day wherein Brant is now his ex-wife’s new boss, and he struggles to come to terms with everything he lost including the woman he apparently still loves. What ensues is the rekindling romance between Brant and Nikki, and the potential fall out as memories from the past continue to destroy any happiness our couple once shared.

The Bachelors of Arizona series follows Nadine Titus, as she, along with Charles Wellington, devise and scheme to reunite and otherwise find love for the old man’s three grandsons. As the final hold out Brant struggles with heartbreaking memories from the past-memories he has tried to drown with alcohol and women- memories too painful but hard to forget. When Nadine ‘orders’ Brant to take control of one of her luxury hotels she is well aware that Brant’s past, present and future is working nearby. Nadine knows that Brant is still in love with the woman that calls to his heart but hurtful words said in anger and pain may have all but destroyed any possibility of reuniting two people who have never moved forward in close to four years.

The relationship between Nikki and Brant is one of second chances; a redkindling romance that struggles with betrayal and fear; pain and suffering; grief and loss. The $ex scenes are intimate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Brant’s twin Bentley Wellington (The Playboy Bachelor) and their elder brother Brock whom we met in book one-The Bachelor Auction. Bentley’s grandfather returns, alone with Nadine Titus grandmother as the two continue to play matchmakers for their heartbroken grandchildren. We are also introduced to several hotel employees including Nikki’s best friend and concierge Cole Masters, and spa receptionist Annie. I am hoping Rachel has plans for Cole-this man deserves his happily ever after.

THE BACHELOR CONTRACT is an emotional story with heartbreaking memories and humorous, playful moments. The addition of Cole Masters is like a breath of fresh air in between the tears and pain of one couple’s grief and loss. The premise is entertaining and energetic; the characters are broken and colorful; the romance is fated, passionate and hurting as two people, who love one another, are unable to let go and move on from the past.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 28, 2017

Score one for the Carolina Cold Fury hockey team as a stone-cold badass melts for a woman who makes his blood run hot.

As one of the league’s toughest enforcers, Van Turner is ruthless on the ice. He plays hard because it’s the only way to channel the rage boiling inside, and a reputation as an A-hole is better than everyone knowing the truth. Van has spent his entire life running from a secret that’s kept him from getting involved in relationships—or accepting lucrative deals with East Coast teams. Then the Carolina Cold Fury makes him an offer he can’t refuse . . . and Van meets a woman he can’t resist.

Simone Fournier is the stubborn one in her family—and that’s saying something, considering her brothers are two of the Cold Fury’s biggest stars. Simone gets what she wants, and what she wants is Van. Still, there’s a part of him Simone can’t reach, no matter how hard she tries. In private, he’s all fire and passion. In public, he freezes her out. Van may want to push her away, but Simone won’t let him go that easily. Because this time, she’s playing for keeps.

•••••••••••••••••

REVIEW: VAN is the ninth instalment in Sawyer Bennett’s contemporary, adult COLD FURY HOCKEY erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Cold Fury Hockey team. This is twenty eight year old, team enforcer Van Turner, and Simone Fournier’s story line. VAN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Some of the events of VAN run parallel to and cross over with book eight LUCAS where we are first introduced to our story line couple. Simone is Lucas (#8) and Max’s (#6) younger sister.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Van and Simone) VAN follow the building relationship between the Cold Fury’s enforcer Van Turner, and Simone Fournier, Max and Lucas’s sister, who at the end of book eight-LUCAS-had quit university, and moved in with Lucas and Van. Simone’s parents had always planned for our heroine to attend medical school but a few months before completing her bachelor’s degree Simone walks into Lucas’s apartment and announces she wants something different for her life. Enter brooding and tormented Van Turner, Lucas’s teammate, and the man with whom Simone will fall in love. What ensues is the secret ‘friends with benefits’ relationship between Simone and Van, and the potential fall out as Van’s past is revealed for the world to see.

Van Turner is an unknown entity to the Cold Fury hockey team. A dark and dangerous past has our hero withdrawn, isolated, cold and calculating, refusing to acknowledge the elephant in the room; the demons that destroyed the family he once knew. Emotionally distant, with a temper to match, Van’s own teammates struggle with his attitude and actions, fearing reprisals if pushed too hard. Simone Fournier is a twenty-two year old young woman who struggles with a lack of direction, and her sexual attraction to a man who refuses to accept Simone, and everything she represents. Our heroine’s ‘seduction’ of Van Turner is methodical and calculating including pushing the boundaries of personal space and Van’s on-going rejection of Simone’s advances.

The relationship between Van and Simone is one of immediate attraction but saying that our heroine’s flirting and come-ons are not welcome by our story line hero. Van’s past is rife with betrayal and a darkness he prefers not to acknowledge-a darkness he believes threatens everyone he loves. The $ex scenes are numerous, erotic, intense and edgy but, once again, I take issue with the use of a certain four-letter word that I do NOT find romantic or seductive. Also, while Simone struggles with a lack of direction in her life, the choices she makes are questionable under the circumstances considering the close relationship with her family including two brothers who would do anything to help their little sister. For an intelligent woman she takes risks, and exposes herself to some controversial and problematic situations.

Several of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting characters including Simone’s brother Lucas and Stephanie, Max and Julianne, as well as Van’s aunt Etta, a woman he loves like a mother.

VAN is an emotional story line of one man’s desperate attempts to move on from the past, and one woman’s frenzied pursuit of the man that calls to her heart. The premise is impassioned and heart-breaking; the characters are colorful but broken; the romance is highly sexual and energetic-Van and Simone like it rough in the bedroom. VAN is a bold and lively addition to the author’s Cold Fury Hockey series.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 28, 2017

“Tragedy, turmoil, and the ultimate sacrifice. It’s not a question of what I’m willing to sacrifice but who to deserve her…

Can love truly conquer all? Even when so many truths say no?

The last book in the USA Today Bestselling Dollar Series.

••••••••••••

REVIEW:- MILLIONS is the final instalment in Pepper Winters’ contemporary, adult DOLLAR dark romance series focusing on billionaire Elder Prest, and TAmsyn ‘Pimlico’ Blythe. MILLIONS should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately upon the events of book four THOUSANDS. For fans of Pepper’s series there is a cross over with the characters from the author’s Monsters in the Dark.

NOTE: If you have not read book four-THOUSANDS-there may be some spoilers in my review. There are some scenes of graphic violence, bloodshed and death.

SOME BACKGROUND: Two years earlier Tasmin Blythe was sold to a sadistic Norwegian businessman and in the ensuing time suffered abuse, rape and torture at the hands of Alrik Asbjorn (aka Master A) and several of his friends and associates. Refusing to give Alrik the satisfaction of her pain and turmoil, and in an effort to protect her mind our heroine shut down and opted for selective mutism. The Dollars Series is her story of recovery, healing and falling in love.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Pim and Elder) with an introductory prologue by Selix (Elder’s right hand man) MILLIONS is the long awaited conclusion to Pepper Winters’ DOLLAR dark, romance series. At the end of book four-THOUSANDS-our heroine Pimlico has gone missing following not one but two raids and attacks against Elder Prest aboard his luxury yacht the Phantom. While an enemy from his past has resurfaced demanding revenge and retribution, a new foe mistakenly believes Elder is responsible for the suffering of our story line heroine. What ensues are Elder’s plans to extricate the woman he loves, and the take down of an old enemy that is determined to destroy everything and everyone Elder loves.

MILLIONS brings together the characters and couples from the authors Monster in the Dark Series- ‘Q’ Mercer and his wife Tess, Franco and Suzette- as Elder must do battle to protect the woman that he loves but in doing so brings the enemy to the front door threatening Q and the woman he loves.

Pepper Winters writes emotional story lines with strong woman who have battled demons and the devil, only to resurface stronger and free. The men they love are hard core alpha males who have struggled between right and wrong, and in the end found forgiveness and a happily ever after with the women they love.

MILLIONS is an energetic tale of recovery, retribution, forgiveness and love. Pepper Winters DOLLAR is a complex, dark and detailed series of one woman’s rehabilitation and redemption; and one man’s absolution for sins of the past. The premise is raw, heartbreaking and intense; the romance is passionate and emotional. MILLIONS is an energetic and powerful conclusion to a series that will resonate for a long time.

And keep in mind there is definitely a ‘happily ever after’ including several epilogues from both of our story line characters.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 27, 2017

Orphan Liam Ryan isn’t asking for much this Christmas–just his Uncle John. And he’s counting on Father Christmas to find a way to make that happen.

But when Father Christmas tosses Liam’s letter, claiming that the kid is asking the impossible, his daughter, Winter, takes over. Half-pixie, Winter, longs to do something important with her life, starting with getting a job at the Order of the Shadow Accords, the organization that polices the supernatural world. When she discovers Liam’s uncle works for the Order, it seems like fate.

Savaged by werewolves and bitten by a vampire, no one knows what to expect of John Ryan, but it won’t be anything good. So there’s no way he’s getting involved with his nephew…or anyone else. Worse, he’s getting a babysitter over the holidays. But when he meets irrepressible Winter, all that matters is whether she likes her guys to be naughty or nice.

••••••••••••••

REVIEW: BITTERSWEET CHRISTMAS is instalment 3.5 in Nina Croft’s contemporary, adult THE ORDER paranormal/ fantasy romance series focusing on the men and women who work for The Order of the Shadow Accords- an organization that polices the supernaturals of the world. This is half-pixie Winter, and former human, now a vampire/werewolf John Ryan ‘s story line. BITTERSWEET CHRISTMAS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Winter and John) BITTERSWEET CHRISTMAS finds our heroine tasked with ‘babysitting’ the recently turned John Ryan, a man who struggles with the beast within; a vampire/werewolf hybrid whose wolf has yet to come to the surface. Hoping to gain a position within the Order, Winter offers herself up as bodyguard and protector of the one-time human cop, a position she abuses, as she battles between her heart and what she is tasked to do.

One year earlier John Ryan killed the wolf-pack alpha, and in the ensuing time a price has been placed on our hero’s head. In hiding for his own protection, and the protection of others, John has all but abandoned his fifteen year old nephew Liam, a young man he took guardianship of upon the teen’s mother’s death. A letter to Santa finds Liam Ryan asking for the return of the uncle he hasn’t seen in months-a letter that finds it way to Winter and her father who happens to be Father Christmas, among other names. What ensues is the building relationship between Winter and John Ryan, and the potential fall out when John’s whereabouts are revealed to those hunting him down as Winter ensures Liam’s Christmas wish is answered.

BITTERSWEET CHRISTMAS is a sexy paranormal Christmas tale; a quick read; a story of insta-lust with limited sex scenes due in part to the nature of a novella. The premise is sweet and edgy; the characters are colorful and spirited; the romance is intimate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. For fans of the series, it has been approximately three years since the author last released a title in The Order series but many will recognize John Ryan from his previous involvement as well as the return of Piers Lamont, vampire and head of the Order of the Shadow Accords.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 9, 2017

I didn’t expect to cross paths with Ciara Morton.
Her innocent beauty literally knocked me to my knees.
I’d never met a woman like her.
She’s smart to stay away from me.
I like my sex rough and dirty and I don’t believe in love.
But she’s slowly seeping into my bones,
And the more she rejects me, the greedier I get.
She should stay away, before I lose all sense of control.

Seth Scardino is all sinewy muscles and rough attitude.
He’s the type of man who takes without asking permission.
From the first moment I saw him, I knew he would be my weakness.
He controls me in every way possible,
But I’ll never admit it.
If I do, he’ll know I’ll let him take me completely,
And I don’t think I’ll be able to let him go if he does.

••••••••••••

REVIEW: SETH is the fifth instalment in Crimson Syn’s contemporary, adult HELL’S LOVERS MC erotic, romance novella series focusing on the men and women of the Hell’s Lover MC. This is twenty-one year old nanny Ciara Morton, and Hell’s Lovers MC treasurer Seth Scardino’s story line. SETH can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion as there is an ongoing premise throughout the series. Seth is the brother of the Hell’s Lovers MC Sargent at Arms Cain Scardino (CAIN#4).

NOTE: SETH contains graphic language and text, and mature themes. It may not be suitable for all readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Seth and Ciara) SETH focuses on the acrimonious relationship between Hell’s Lovers MC treasurer Seth Scardino, and the MC president’s nanny Ciara Morton. Ordered to protect the MC president’s wife and child, Seth Scardino finds himself drawn to their nanny Ciara Morton, a woman who struggles within the confines of a lock-down meant to protect her life. Oblivious to the potential danger, our heroine continues to push the boundaries of her recent ‘captivity’ and in doing so pushes all of Seth Scardino’s over-protective, alpha male buttons. The Columbian Cartel remain a threat in the wake of the Los Perdidos MC destruction, and Seth has been tasked with protecting Scarlet Chase, her daughter Ryder, and the woman that calls to his heart. What ensues is the tempestuous and caustic back and forth relationship between Seth and Ciara, and the potential fall out as the Cartel get too close to the Hell’s Lovers MC.

The relationship between Seth and Ciara is cutting and abrasive. Their one on one confrontations are petulant and combative hiding a palpable sexual energy that everyone sees but our leading couple. There are some scenes of questionable consent in the wake of our heroine’s ambiguous signals, desire and disgust. The $ex scenes are aggressive, erotic and intense. (Still not a fan of a certain four-letter word, regardless in which genre or usage it has been applied).

The character building is limited. There is little in the way of backstory or history. We know very little about their earlier years although Ciara’s over protective brothers make a cameo appearance and threaten to destroy our story line hero.

SETH is a dark and wicked story line as one woman battles her attraction to a man she knows is all kinds of wrong but feels so right. The premise is imaginative and gritty: the romance is carnal and dirty; the characters are destructive and dynamic.

About the author

My name is Crimson Syn, not really, but what fun is it to use my real name. Instead I’ll use my inner goddess’ name, it’s much more fun that way. I grew up in New York City where I had a wonderful education, loving parents and awesome friends. What more could a girl ask for?

I started writing at the age of sixteen. The first romance I read was Stephanie Laurens’ Devil’s Bride. Since then I have been influenced by dozens of flourishing romance authors and even more dashing and daring rogues. I must say it, but Fifty Shades was not my first erotic romance, nor did it influence me to start writing them. If you’ve never read Mary Balogh, Elizabeth Hoyt, Lisa Kleypas, Bertrice Small or A.N. Roquelaure’s Sleeping Beauty trilogy, then you’re missing out. Those were my sweet introductions to erotic romance, and boy were they hot.

So here I am, after reading so many wonderful stories, I have too many sinful tales of my own not to share. I like my alphas rough and possessive, and I have no shame in saying it or writing it. I had delightfully wicked teachers growing up, their books took me to new worlds and brought me new loves. So, I want to do the same for you. I want to indulge my readers in those steamy reads that will send them into the arms of dangerous alphas and deliciously sexy rogues, without leaving the confines of their nice warm bed. If I am able to entice your inner goddesses, then I have done my job and I am satisfied.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 21, 2017

I like sex. Kinky sex. The kinkier the better.

Every day, it’s all I think about as I serve coffee and hand out business agendas to men who have no idea I’m not the prim proper girl they think I am.

With a day job as the secretary to one of New York’s most powerful men, Hudson Pierce, I have to keep my double life quiet. As long as I do, it’s not a problem.

Enter: Nathan Sinclair. Tall, dark and handsome doesn’t come close to describing how hot he is. And that’s with his clothes on. But after a dirty, filthy rendezvous, I accept that if we ever see each other again, he’ll walk right by my desk on his way to see my boss without recognizing me.

Only, that’s not what happens. Not the first time I see him after the party. Or the next time. Or the time after that. And as much as I try to stop it, my two worlds are crashing into each other, putting my job and my reputation at risk.

And all I can think about is Nathan Sinclair.

All I can think about is getting just one more dirty, filthy fix.

REVIEW: DIRTY FILTHY FIX by Laurelin Paige is instalment 5.5 in the author’s contemporary adult FIXED erotic, romance series, and the latest installment in the multi-authored 1001 Dark Nights novella series. This is Hudson Pierce’s (Fixed Trilogy) thirty five year old professional assistant Patricia ‘Trish’ Bisceglia, and forty five year old Nathan Sinclair’s –millionaire advertising executive, Creative Director for Reach, INC – story line. DIRTY FILTHY FIX can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary. Some of the events of Dirty Filthy Fix cross-over with Dirty Filthy Rich Love (Dirty Duet #2).

Told from first person point of view (Trish Bisceglia) DIRTY FILTHY FIX follows the sexual escapades of our heroine Patricia Bisceglia, PA to billionaire businessman Hudson Pierce, and a woman who isn’t afraid to explore the kinky side of her sexual proclivities. As an unauthorized member of the Open Door ‘rotating’ sex club our fiercely independent heroine owns her sexuality, adhering to a specific set of rules including no penetration, never go home with anyone, never give out personal information, and never remove her mask until the night Nathan Sinclair catches our heroine’s eye, and all bets are off. What ensues is Nathan Sinclair’s slow seduction of a woman who steadfastly remains committed to controlling every aspect of her life, and the eventual fall-out as Trish begins to ease up on the rules that kept her sexual life out of the public eye-Patricia Bisceglia-professional assistant by day; T by night.

DIRTY FILTHY FIX is a quick, erotic and sexy story line. Trish Bisceglia does not do relationships or commitment but enjoys the sexual freedom of the kinkier aspects of sex and everything it has to offer. Nathan Sinclair is a man who likes to watch, a voyeur, who likes what he sees in our story line heroine, and intends to seduce said heroine into something more. The premise is sexy and hot. The characters are colorful and dynamic but the character building is limited- we know very little about their backgrounds or history prior to their fateful and unexpected meeting. The romance is spicy and edgy; the club sex scenes are dirty minded and erotic.

Sensual couple touching at each other

excerpt

I wore satin that Saturday night, a long blue slip dress with slits up both sides. I never wore underwear to the parties. They were too much of an inconvenience, and the few times I had worn them, I’d just ended up giving them away as souvenirs. I liked nice lingerie. I preferred to keep most of it.
The shoes I wore—simple heels, easy to slip off—were also standard for an evening at the Open Door. But somehow I felt simultaneously more dressed up and more naked than I had in a long time. I left my hair down, and it fell long past my shoulders in dark, nearly black waves. It felt less like I was going to a weekly party and more like I was going on a date. A glamorous date.
It was a signal that I should not go.
But I went. Nothing could have kept me away.
I spent the beginning of the night as a voyeur, camped out on the settee watching as the Doms paraded their submissives around the room, entertaining everyone with their tricks and commands.
I had a few invitations to play from the regulars—Andrew, who’d shown up with a girl I’d never met before. Of course, Chuck Richard was there, wanting to fondle and stroke my skin. But I shooed them all away, feigning an introverted mood, when really I was just looking and waiting for one person in particular.
An hour went by. Then an hour and a half. After two hours, I kicked myself internally a bunch of times before realizing that I was in a place where people would gladly do that for me. So when Andrew suggested a game, an adult version of Spin-the-Bottle, I decided to join in.
An oddly shaped circle was created, some people choosing to sit on the floor, some on the furniture. I curled up with my knees to one side on the floor, and when I finished straightening my gown around me, I looked up to find that the man sitting on the ottoman across from me was Nathan.
And suddenly the room felt so much brighter than it had a few minutes before. Like there’d been too many plugs shoved into one outlet and finally someone had tugged one free, the power had surged, and the lights glowed.
Everyone disappeared around me and the only face I could see was his, handsome and rugged, his grin directed at me. His eyes lit up like they were the source of the glow, and they were the only things I could see.
Somehow I was sure I’d just broken one of my rules. I didn’t know which one, and I didn’t even care.

About the book: Release Date November 14, 2017

We meet every other Wednesday night in a downtown hotel. No dates. No commitments. No hearts or flowers. Just his body and mine.

Maybe I’m his second best. He’s definitely mine. But second best has never felt so good.

•••••••••••••

REVIEW: SECOND BEST by Noelle Adams is a contemporary, adult, stand alone erotic, romance story line focusing on the contracted, sexual relationship between real estate developer Sean Doyle, and attorney Ashley Simon.

Told from first person point of view (Ashley Simon) SECOND BEST follows the building relationship between thirty-eight year old real estate developer Sean Doyle, and twenty-eight year old property attorney Ashley Simon. Having met at a business get-together Sean Doyle will offer Ashley Simon the deal that would forever change her life-a sexual relationship, no strings attached, no business, no questions-every other Wednesday at a local, expensive hotel. Throughout their months long affair, we get up close and personal with a man whose previous relationship and love was destroyed by a bullet that came close to ending his life; and a woman who believes she is in love with another man –fellow attorney John Cooper-a man who is barely aware of our heroine’s existence. What ensues is the every-other Wednesday sexual encounters between Ashley and Sean, and the potential fall out as Ashley continues to focus her attentions upon someone else.

SECOND BEST is a quick read originally released as a serialized newsletter novella focusing on a mutual ‘arrangement’ between two people looking for sex, companionship, and nothing else. What started out as a potentially, cold and calculating business-like arrangement soon heats up as our hero begins to want something more, and our heroine learns that no other man compares to the reality of what she already has.

For an educated and informed woman Ashley Simon is a bit of a fool as it pertains to her attraction and love for a man she claims is her happily ever after. Her attraction to a co-worker is purely physical yet she continues to act as though ‘he’ is the one regardless of their, yet to be established, friendship or introduction. In this, Ashley’s actions are immature, adolescent and questionable.

The relationship between Sean and Ashley begins as a contracted agreement; a physical and sexual affair never intended to go beyond the sex but an affair that begins to show signs of emotional involvement, jealousy and love. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.

There secondary and supporting characters are limited to Ashley’s ‘crush’ and fellow attorney John Cooper, as well as Sean’s grandmother, a woman who sees more than her grandson realizes.

SECOND BEST is a story of one man’s heartbreak and inability to let go of the past; and one woman’s obsession with another man. The premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is seductive and edgy; the characters are colorful, charismatic and dynamic although I have to question the stupidity of our heroine’s ‘obsession’ for another man.

Second Best Teaser 1

excerpt

After I turned the water on to get hot, I pulled my hair back into a messy bun and dropped my clothes onto the floor, feeling almost decadent—like I wasn’t just a normal girl with a normal job living a normal life. I loved the specialty bath wash the hotel provided—deliciously scented with lavender and honey—and I scrubbed up and rinsed off at a leisurely pace.
I wondered what Sean was doing. He probably had a meeting run late or else something urgent came up at work.I was going to be very disappointed if the front desk called up to tell me he wasn’t going to be able to make it after all.I’d been waiting for two weeks for tonight. I didn’t want to miss out. When I felt an unexpected blast of cool air, I turned to see what caused it. I squealed loudly when I saw a man getting into the shower with me. I raised my hands instinctively to beat him off.

You understand I wasn’t thinking through any of this. All I’d processed was the sudden appearance of a man where I hadn’t been expecting one.

“Hey,” Sean said, laughing as he grabbed at my flailing wrists. He was as naked as I was. “I expected a warmer welcome than this.”

I relaxed immediately, flushing with embarrassment and the aftermath of my shock. “You scared the crap out of me!”

He was still laughing. “I can see that. Who did you think was getting into the shower with you?”

“I don’t know. I thought you were running late.”

He moved so he was completely under the shower spray, the water soaking his short brown hair and streaming down his high cheekbones, strong chin, and sexy mouth. “I was. But I rushed over so you wouldn’t start without me.”

“Start… without…?”

I didn’t finish the stilted question because he’d pulled me into a kiss.

I had no objections to kissing him. In fact, it was one of my favorite activities. No one kissed like Sean Doyle did—with those clever lips, agile tongue, and dedicated skill. But I’d put my hair into the bun on purpose, and I didn’t want him to pull my head under the water, so I backed away, saving my hair from getting soaked like his.

He frowned when I broke the kiss and reached for me again. “Why are you all standoffish?”

“I’m not.” I giggled as I evaded his hands. “I just don’t want my hair to get wet.”

“Why not?”

I stared at him through the steam-thickened air. “Why not? Do you have any idea what it’s like to go around with wet hair as long as mine? It takes forever to dry and it gets everything wet.”

He frowned and stepped forward, pushing me back against the shower wall. “Fine. If you insist on focusing on practicalities, how’s this then?” He kissed me again, and this time I didn’t have any desire to pull away. My head was safely away from the fall of water.

“Not bad,” I murmured against his lips.

“Not bad? That’s all you can say after two weeks without kissing me?”

“What did you expect me to say? That your kiss is the most incredible thing I’ve ever experienced in the universe.”

He nuzzled the side of my face, his tongue darting out to taste my skin in little, unexpected licks, each one causing a quick jolt of pleasure. “That wouldn’t be a bad start.”
