ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 28, 2021.

Savin “Savage” Pajari is convinced he’s not worth a damn thing. He’s not like his brothers. He’s a sadistic monster, a killer—a man no woman could truly love. So it completely throws him when a stranger risks her life for his, pushing him out of the way and taking the hit that would have sent him six feet under. If he had any kind of sense, he’d leave her alone, but Savage can’t get the woman with a smart mouth and no sense of self-preservation out of his head. With one kiss, he’s lost.

Seychelle Dubois has spent her entire life not feeling much of anything, until Savage comes along and sets her whole body on fire. Kissing him was a mistake. Letting him get close would be a catastrophe. He’s the most beautiful—and damaged—man she’s ever met. He has a way of getting under her skin, and what he’s offering is too tempting to resist.

Seychelle knows so little about Savage or the dangerous world of Torpedo Ink, but his darkness draws her like a moth to a flame. Loving him could mean losing herself completely to his needs—needs she doesn’t understand but is eager to learn. But what Savage teaches her could destroy her.

Sandy’s Review

ANNIHILATION ROAD is the sixth instalment in Christine Feehans’ contemporary, adult TORPEDO INK erotic, paranormal romance series, a spin off from the author’s Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart series which in turn is a spin off from the Drake Sisters series. This is Savin “Savage” Pajari, and singer Seychelle Dubois’s story line. ANNIHILATION ROAD can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

WARNING: ANNIHILATION ROAD contains scenes, and makes reference to graphic violence, rape, murder, torture, child prostitution, and abuse against children, women and men, and may not be suitable for more sensitive readers. The violence is a part of the history and lives of the Torpedo Ink crews. The eighteen original Torpedo Ink members are the sole survivors of a Russian pedophile ring, and as such work towards rescuing children and women in similar situations.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Savage and Seychelle) ANNIHILATION ROAD follows the building romance and relationship between Savin “Savage” Pajari, and singer Seychelle Dubois. Savin ‘Savage’ Pajari and Seychelle Dubois met the day Savage saved the life of a young child as Seychelle saved the life of our story line hero. Taking the brunt of the hit, Seychelle landed in the hospital as Savage claimed our heroine as his own but all is not well with Seychelle Dubois, an empathic, psychic healer whose inability to control her powers is threatening her life. Not only is Seychelle’s life in danger but Seychelle has a couple of stalkers, stalkers who are using every means necessary to get to our story line heroine.

Savin ‘Savage Pajari is a sexual sadist; a product of the abuse, the torture, and the environment in which he and his Torpeo Ink family grew up. Unable to watch his family suffer, Savage used his own psychic powers to ease the pain and suffering of the people he loved, but more importantly, Savage was used and abused in ways we can only imagine. Unable to leave the demons behind, Savage needs to inflict pain and suffering, and our heroine is ripe for the challenge. Meanwhile, a rival MC is targeting the Torpedo Ink MC, especially member Alena Koval who was betrayed by a man she thought she could love.

The relationship between Seychelle and Savage is one of immediate attraction. Seychelle is an innocent who had spent her life looking after her parents, a life that is now affected by the people she once loved. With the voice of an ‘angel’ Seychelle is asked to audition with the Torpedo Ink group, a voice that can soothe and control the people who listen. Savage Pajari is a man who needs control, and his family is well aware of his sadistic nature, a side of our hero he is unable to restrain.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including most of the Torpedo Ink MC family. We are introduced to Seychelle’s neighbors Doris and Inez, Brandon Campbell, Joseph Arnold and guitar player Hank. The requisite evil has many faces.

ANNIHILATION ROAD is a story of family, friendships, relationships and love; a story of obsession, power, control and denial; a tale of desperation, domination, and sexual savagery. The premise is detailed, emotional and heart breaking but there is some repetitive text and situations; the romance is unconventional; the characters are charismatic, dynamic and broken. Seychelle and Savage’s story continues in SAVAGE ROAD January 2022.

Barb’s Review:
Annihilation Road by Christine Feehan is the 6th book in her Torpedo Ink series. Brief refresher: Czar, who is married to Blyth (Sisters of the Heart), is the president of Torpedo Ink, and together with the men and women he brought with him to Sea Haven they built their Torpedo Ink MC club in Casper, which is close to Sea Haven.  Each of these members have suffered terrible abuse in their childhoods in Russia, being forced to all become lethal assassins; each still very much trying to find the light inside their darkness.  They are all determined to protect each other, and in each book, one of our heroes meets their mate.

Savage is the hero in this story, and he is convinced he could never find a woman meant for him, as he is the most dangerous and damaged of the Torpedo Ink members.  On his motorcycle, he notices a young boy walking in the street, with an oncoming vehicle close to hitting the boy; he runs to save the child, knowing it could cost his life, and just when the truck is near, a woman pushes him out of the way. He needs to know who was his savior.

Seychelle Dubois, our heroine, is recovering in the hospital from injuries she suffered saving Savage and the young boy.  When he comes to visit her, Savage finds himself attracted to this brave woman, but he knows he cannot allow himself to become involved, knowing he is sadistic and filled with pain.  When he senses her abilities to help others, including him, he kisses her and walks away.  However, best laid plans do not always work.

Seeychelle, who is also attracted to Savage, is also a singer, with her music making people happy; her singing and love of music promotes her special gifts of being able to read and heal fractured minds.    When Savage discovers that his Torpedo Ink brothers want Seychelle to part of their band, he makes it his business to become part of her life, and making her his woman, despite Seychelle worry of his version of romance being filled with pain.

Seychelle was always visiting the older ladies from Casper/Sea Haven, and Savage notices some bad people watching her.  He makes it known that Seychelle is his, and the Torpedo Ink members take turns to follow the bad guys to help protect her.

What follows is an exciting and violent adventure, as well as a highly sexual erotic romance between two people who ended up needing each other.  I did love Seychelle, and at times Savage, who I found too sadistic and his need for pain, even on her.  I love all the members of the Torpedo Ink family, including the equally lethal female members (Lana & Alena), and the ladies who become part of them (Blythe, Anya, Breezy, Soliel, Scarlet).  I did like the part where Libby (Drake sister) explains to Savage how to help Seychelle, when she absorbs the pain of others, which could cause her to shorten her life.

Annihilation Road was so well written by Christine Feehan, though I thought too much was devoted to sex and sadism. The entire Torpedo Ink members are an amazing and wonderful group of characters that we fully care for.  Again, I will note that Feehan does have a lot of sex scenes, and in this book the sex scenes were in the forefront, with rest of the story being more in the background. Annihilation Road was a good story line, with a second book on Savage and Seychelle coming next month (Savage Road), which promises to be even more sexual.

REVIEW:JUST THE WRONG TWIN is the eighth instalment in Deborah Cooke’s contemporary, adult FLATIRON FIVE FITNESS romance series. This is therapist/yoga instructor Sonia Olson, and ex-Marine/weight lifting coach turned security specialist Nate Buchanan’s story line. JUST THE WRONG TWIN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from several third person perspectives including Nate and Sonia JUST THE WRONG TWIN follows in the months after Sonia was humiliated by her twin sister Katia, at a F5F party. Katia had pretended to be our story line heroine, and seduced the man that had caught Sonia’s eye. Fast forward several months wherein Sonia and Nate would reconnect at Pierce and Jacquie’s nuptials (Just One Silver Fox 7), and a friendship/friends with benefits relationship would bloom but Nate was about to start a new position in Boston, leaving his Flatiron Five Fitness family, and Sonia behind. Nate Buchanan has loved and lost, and in this our hero believes, there will never be anyone ever again. When Sonia professes her love for our hero, Nate struggles to address the demons from his past.

The relationship between Nate and Sonia is a frenemies to lovers in which Nate wants nothing to do with any type of forever or commitment. Thomar, along with his second, Varin, break free and destroy an enemy base, barely escaping with their lives. They transport to The Colony, the last refuge for contaminated males. Upon arrival they suffer in agony, their cyborg implants fighting for control of the powerful warriors.

Defeat is not in their blood. Not in their history. Not in their souls. A female whom they crave with an intensity that just might pull them back from the brink of death.

Danika Gray left Earth to start a new life. With every touch, every kiss, every moment in their arms she finds herself closer to the paradise she seeks. But how can she free her new mates from endless torment? Fight an enemy she cannot see?

REVIEW:THE ENFORCER’S HOLIDAY PACKAGE is a Christmas novella 3.5 in Crimson Syn’s contemporary, adult RBMC (Royal B*stards MC:NewOrleans) erotic, MC, romance series. This is RBMC enforcer Adam ‘Siege’ Young, and twenty year old, nursing student Harmony King’s story line. THE ENFORCER’S HOLIDAY PACKAGE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Harmony and Siege) THE ENFORCER’S HOLIDAY PACKAGE follows a case of mistaken identity, and a secret baby. Harmony King’s twin sister Amber is wanted by the Russian Bratva but Amber is dead, and Harmony is about to pay the price for sins of the past. With her sister’s infant son Gabriel left to her care, Harmony goes to find Adam Young, the child’s father, and hopefully, the man who can rescue our heroine from the Russian mob. What ensues is the quick building sexual relationship between Harmony and Siege as Siege believes our heroine is Amber King, and the fall-out as the Russian Bratva continue to target our story line heroine. As Harmony finds refuge at a local B&B, the proprietor Soul, suffers at the hands of the men looking fore revenge.

The relationship between Siege and Harmony is quick to develop. Within hours of meeting Siege and Harmony are physical with one another, while the Russian Bratva are only minutes behind. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense; Siege wants to be called Daddy, and our couple both like it rough in the bedroom.

We are reintroduced to former Fire Chief Brimstone, the woman he loves Soul, as well as several members of the RBMC and their Prez Bulldog. Brim and Soul’s story line is next.

THE ENFORCER’S HOLIDAY PACKAGE is a fast paced, short read that sees another RBMC member find his own happily ever after. The MC is gearing up for a potential war with the Russian Bratva, as no conflict resolution came to fruition, and the Bratva plot line was overall, somewhat confusing and never truly explained. The premise is engaging but felt rushed; the romance is intimate and seductive but I struggle with the hero wanting to be called ‘daddy’, and calling the heroine his ‘sl*t’; the characters are energetic and dynamic but the development is limited. THE ENFORCER’S HOLIDAY PACKAGE was a bit of a struggle, somewhat confusing, needing a little more fleshing out.

COPYCAT is a story of betrayal and vengeance, obsession and madness, secrets, lies, friendships, relationships and love. The premise is intriguing and captivating; the romance is seductive and impassioned; the characters are energetic and charismatic. COPYCAT ends on a bit of a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 17, 2021

Come face to face with the breakaway science that spreads humanity throughout the solar system in record time, from its humble beginnings as a means to rescue one man from locked-in syndrome, so he could pursue his lady love.

The Printed People technology rapidly finds many other applications, all alarming.

But none so much as the birth of a solar system empire and war machine—as much the greatest purveyor of peace and enlightenment ever, as of wanton death and destruction.

Meet Elektra, a product of CRISPR engineering with a four-digit IQ, the general in command of the space fleet that goes toe-to-toe with far more evolved alien empires—even as the solar system infrastructure is still being set up.

Meet the Printed People and androids who will hold both the Athenian, peace-loving, and the Spartan, war-loving factions together.

And meet the detectives who unravel the mysteries whose hidden truths neither side wants found out.

REVIEW:PRINTED PEOPLE is an adult, sci-fi, space opera by Dean C Moore that focuses on the fall-out of one brilliant but mad man’s desire to reunite with the woman he once loved but in doing so set into motion a series of events that would result in a catastrophic, universal tsunami of death and destruction.

Told in eleven acts, following several time lines, using intersecting and connected paths PRINTED PEOPLE focuses on immortality in the form of ‘ printed people’. In the early twenty-first century, genius Gunter Friq designed bioprinters that could be configured to ‘print’ hybrid lifeforms both silicon and carbon, in which one’s mind could be uploaded for a longer if not immortal life but Gunter’s earlier trials were a disastrous failure, claiming the lives of a billion people in a matter of days. In an effort to stop Gunter Friq, and the future fall-out of an inter-stellar war, womb-crawler, CRISPR modified warrior, engineered and omnipotent Elektra returns to the past to warn Bella, her younger self, that all is not well in the distant future, and the future of the universe is in the literal hands of two humans who must uncover the truth, and stop a madman before he destroys the world.

PRINTED PEOPLE is a complex, detailed and lengthy ‘space opera’ with a very large cast of characters including the 1000 IQ or four-dij wizards of brilliance and genius: a tale of technology, physiology, biology and of philosophical conundrums but moreso a look at the sociological theory of ever evolving interactions and patterns at both the macro and micro levels. PRINTED PEOPLE prompts the reader to ask questions of how, why or should we, resulting in a conflict between worlds in a war for power and control. Sentience, or consciousness not only of the biological but of the silicon based lifeforms, AI, avatars, spaceships, otherwordly aliens, the ether and more. By referencing historical philosophers, mathematicians, geniuses (including Elon Musk), PRINTED PEOPLE asks the question …what if?

Prepare to have your mind blown…

My only complaint is the overall length of book one. I think perhaps a three-part trilogy may have been easier to digest than all at once.

He gulped. This time there was plenty of spit to spare. He’d spouted a regular Niagara, as his screwy nervous system, on overload for some time now, continued to overreact to his every thought.

            “War with whom!” he blurted.

“There’s no one in Sol worthy of a four-dij general of her caliber, certainly not the other secret space programs, individually, or combined. That means she’ll be seeking something a bit more stimulating.”

While action-packed sci-fi/techno-thrillers set in the near future are my forte, I also stray into other genres from time to time, such as space operas, paranormal fantasy, and detective stories. All my novels can be described as action-thrillers, no matter the sub-genre.

I live in the country where I breed bluebirds, which are endangered in these parts, as my small contribution to restoring nature’s balance. When I’m not writing, or researching my next book, I may also be found socializing with friends, or working in the garden.

If you’d like to know what compels me to write, it’s simple. I write as a force for peace. Fiction has a way of engaging our whole minds, not just our intellects, but various layers of our conscious, superconscious, and unconscious. Novels also encourage our left and right cerebral hemispheres to get in sync and, with just enough magic and wizardry, can help to transform people into more enlightened souls (the writer included) better than a hundred years of therapy or rational arguments to the same ends.

I’ve remained a lifelong student of philosophy, spirituality, psychology, science, and the arts.
