REVIEW:OBLITERATE is the seventh and final instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult NOLA DEFIANCE MC erotic, MC romance series. This is Romeo ‘ South’ North, and Ingrid Ladet’s story line. OBLITERATE should not be read as a stand alone as it is the culmination of all of the previous instalments, and the introduction to the author’s DEFIANCE MC series spin-off set in LA. Ingrid is the mother of Novah and Nash, and the former wife of Reaper, the late NOLA Defiance MC president.

Told from dual first person perspectives (South and Ingrid) with a final chapter from Hurricane OBLITERATE is an older woman, younger man story line focusing on the building relationship between our leading couple. Years earlier, a then sixteen year old, Romeo North fell in love with his father’s best friend’s wife, and in the ensuing time never forgot the advise Ingrid Ladet gave to his younger self. Fast forward to present day, a now twenty-eight year old Romeo ‘South’ North, is a member of the NOLA Defiance MC, which will bring him up close and personal with the older woman who has starred in all of his fantasies and dreams but all is not well for the NOLA Defiance MC, as the Bratva has set their sights on taking down anyone who stands in the ways. What ensues is the building but forbidden relationship between Ingrid and South, and the potential fall-out as the MC is targeted by more than one potential enemy, forcing Hurricane’s hand in the face of betrayal and vengeance.

The world building is the completion of the NOLA Defiance MC series, a series in which the MC members must face a terrible choice, protecting the people they love, or destroying a friendship built upon dozens of years.

The relationship between Ingrid and South is an older woman, younger man but with it comes all of the issues of experiences and life. Ingrid knows if she and South cross the line, there may be repercussions for our story line hero. Ingrid is the MC mother, and as such she is supposed to be accorded the respect she is due . Falling for South was never in the cards but Ingrid would discover South is willing to die to protect the people he loves. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, charismatic and controversial secondary and supporting characters including the return of Bratva head Anton, and the Baroness Constance Squires, who is about to exert her control over the south.

OBLITERATE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, love and loss, destruction and demons, family and friendships, relationships and love. The premise is dark, heart breaking and emotional-not everyone will survive but I sussed out the twists right from the start; the romance is seductive and intense; the characters are impassioned and determined. But…I did have one issue, as it pertained to their twenty-eight year age difference but it does not become apparent until the end of the story.

This is Nico ‘Hoodoo’ Kincaid, and horticulturalist Maxine ‘Maxxy’s story line. FIXATE can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for back story.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Hoodoo and Maxxy) FIXATE follows the building but acrimonious relationship between Nico ‘Hoodoo’ Kincaid, and Maxxy. Maxxy is the NOLA Defiance MC horticulturalist; she is in charge of their grow-op and processing operation but the past is about to descend upon our story line couple. Maxxy is in desperate need of additional help, and the help that ‘volunteers’ is about to bring more trouble for our story line couple. Not only does a current enemy target the MC, but Maxxy’s past is looking for vengeance for a perceived betrayal. As the attacks against the club become personal, Maxxy and Hoodoo will discover another connection between the story line couple. What ensues is the building relationship between Maxxy and Hoodoo, and the potential fall-out vengeance turns deadly threatening everything and everyone connected to Hoodoo and Maxxy.

The world building continues to focus on the life of the NOLA Defiance MC. The lives, the loves, the illegal and legal business connections, as well as the threats and enemies that do not stop. Maxxy and Hoodoo have butted heads throughout most of the series, both preferring to remain connected to their respective ‘pen pals’, people they have never met but people with whom they are falling in love.

The relationship between Maxxy and Hoodoo begins acrimoniously. Hoodoo has been struggling with the fall-out of an attack years before, and Maxxy is about to face the wrath of someone from her past. As Maxxy and Hoodoo are forced to worth together in the lab, our couple will find themselves circling one another, acting on their mutual attraction. The $ex scenes are provocative and erotic with some light scenes of spanking.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we have me in the previous story lines. We are introduced to several members of the Bachelors, an exclusive men-only underground criminal elite club who are about to cause more problems for the NOLA Defiance MC. Foes become enemies, enemies turn deadly, and trust has been misplaced for the struggling MC.

FIXATE is a story of violence and murder, betrayal and vengeance, family and friendships, loss and love.The slow building premise is dramatic and intense; the romance is steamy and hot; the characters are desperate, determined and struggling.

With the appearance of Raid’s past, Frankie accepts that his heart and mind are with someone else but our heroine is strong enough to know, that there is little reason to be jealous of a ghost from the past. The $ex scenes are erotic and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and dynamic secondary and supporting characters including many of the NOLA Defiance MC members and Iron Chains MC. We are introduced to Raid’s daughter Addilyn, and her mother Sophie, as well s Frankie’s friends and classmates Jasmine and Dan. The requisite evil has many faces.

CAPTIVATE is a story of secrets and lies, family and relationships, forgiveness and acceptance, grief and love. The premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance is provocative and intense; the characters are charismatic and strong willed.

REVIEW:GRAVITATE is the first instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult NOLA DEFIANCE MC dark, erotic, MC romance series-a spin off from the author’s Houston Defiance MC series. This is NOLA Defiance MC president Lynx ‘Hurricane’ Ladet, and tattoo artist Kaia Mahoe’s story line. The NOLA Defiance MC is first introduced in the author’s SURVIVE (Houston Defiance MC 8). Some of the events of GRAVITATE cross over with the events of SURVIVE.

Told from three first person perspectives including Hurricane and Kaia, following several intersection pathways, GRAVITATE focuses on the building relationship between NOLA Defiance MC president Lynx ‘Hurricane’ Ladet, and tattoo artist Kaia Mahoe, and the impending war between the NOLA Defiance MC, and the Novikov Russian Bratva. Weeks earlier NOLA Defiance MC president Lynx ‘Hurricane’ Ladet lost his best friend and club VP Razor during a battle with the Bayou Militia, a battle they were called in to help with the Houston Defiance MC. To honor his fallen friend, Hurricane commissions a memorial tattoo where he will meet tattoo artist Kaia Mahoe, the woman that will immediately get under his skin. From the outset, Kaia is ascerbic and condescending towards our story line hero but a communication mix-up finds Hurricane’s attitude and actions towards Kaia angry and antagonistic. Weeks will pass, and our couple will run into one another on numerous occasions including a tattoo convention in Vegas but their caustic meetings continue to be a prelude to future interactions. Meanwhile, the Russian Bratva is attempting to take over the drug territory from the NOLA Defiance MC, an attempt that is going to pull the MC into a deadly and dangerous war for control. What ensues is the building but antagonistic relationship between Hurricane and Kaia, and the potential fall-out when betrayal destroys the woman with whom Hurricane is falling in love.

NOLA Defiance MC needs a new VP, and Hurricane’s brother Bayou refuses to accept the position offered. To fill the vacant seat, Hurricane approaches the Los Angeles chapter of the Defiance MC, and requests the transfer of their sargent at arms City, a transfer that will alleviate City’s growing anxiety with the Los Angeles MC.

The relationship between Hurricane and Kaia begins when Hurricane commissions a tattoo from Kaia Mahoe but Kaia is a strong-willed, independent woman whose private life is about to cross over with the NOLA Defiance MC. Hurricane is unable to get past his attraction to Kaia but a perceived betrayal against the Defiance MC finds Kaia struggling to understand what has happened and why, as she faces the wrath of the Defiance MC. When the truth is revealed, Kaia is unable to forgive the man with whom she was falling in love, a man who is battling between head and heart knowing he destroyed the heart of the woman he loved. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense including scenes of breath play and autoerotic asphyxiation.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters as GRAVITATE introduces the members of the NOLA Defiance MC including new VP City, Felix, Raid, horticulturalist Maxxy, Bodhi, Omen,Ghoul, Hoodoo, Quarter, and club girl Frankie. We meet Kaia’s twenty-five year old sister Lani who struggles with a life-threatening disability, and their father Maka Mahoe; Hurricane’s brother Bayou, their step-mother Ingrid, and step siblings Novah and Nash Harrington; MC member Grudge and his son, aspiring boxer Cole; tattoo shop owner Jackson, receptionist Quinn, and boxing team member Yuri. The requisite evil has many faces. City’s story line is next in ISOLATE.

GRAVITATE is a complex and detailed story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, that introduces the back ground and players in the NOLA Defiance MC. The premise is dramatic, haunting, raw and gritty; the characters are edgy and intense; the romance is provocative and impassioned.
