ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 8, 2019

Jonathan Bracelyn pours his soul into saving the world, and he’s still nowhere near cancelling out the sins of dear ol’ dad. But when a medical crisis prompts Jon to toss his sister the ultimate lifeline, he’s forced to hang up his captain’s hat and hit pause on the one thing that makes him…well, him.

At least he has Blanka Pavlo’s heart-flooding smile to buoy his spirits. A brilliant scientist, she knows things can’t last with the do-gooder Bracelyn brother. Not even if he kisses like a dream and boasts biceps as hefty as his heart. Blanka’s learned the hard way how lonely life is in the shadow of a saint, so she’s giving the hottie hero a wide berth.

Except Jonathan sucks at self-care, so maybe she’ll lend a hand (and other tingly parts) to help him out. Soon, they’re bonding over awkward bubble baths and a disturbingly homely cat, while struggling to remember it’s all temporary. But the harder they brace for goodbye, the louder their hearts declare they’re already in too deep.

REVIEW: CAPTAIN DREAM BOAT is the sixth instalment in Tawna Fenske’s contemporary, adult PONDEROSA RESORT ROMANTIC COMDEDY erotic, romantic series focusing on the Bracelyn siblings and the people who work at Ponderosa Resort. This is sailing captain / philanthropist Jonathan Bracelyn, and scientist Blanka Pavlo’s story line. CAPTAIN DREAMBOAT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary.

SOME BACKGROUND: A few years earlier the Bracelyn patriarch, Cort Bracelyn, died leaving his eldest son James to pick up the pieces of his billion dollar estate, an estate to be divided between his five children (Bree, Sean, James, Mark, and Jonathan ) all born of different mothers. The Ponderosa Resort is the family lodge where each of the now adult children lives and works. But to no one’s surprise, additional siblings continue to climb out of the proverbial woodwork.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Jonathan and Blanka) CAPTAIN DREAMBOAT follows the building relationship between sailing captain / philanthropist Jonathan Bracelyn, and scientist Blanka Pavlo. At the wedding of his sister Bree Bracelyn to Austin Dugan (Sargeant Sexypants #3), sailing captain and philanthropist Jonathan Bracelyn will come face to face with the woman he met one month earlier at the local grade school career day. Blanka Pavlo knew immediately that something wasn’t right with Jonathan’s sister Isabella, something that would bring Jonathan closer to the sibling he had met only weeks before. A medical emergency finds Isabella the recipient of Jonathan’s kidney, and Jonathan the recipient of tender loving care from the woman with whom he would fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Blanka and Jonathan, and the potential fall-out as neither Jonathan nor Blanka’s lifestyles are conducive to settling down or a long-term affair.

Jonathan Bracelyn is all about giving back; about helping out those less fortunate including the overseas rescue of migrants who would otherwise be lost to the waters and oceans of the Earth. Never one to settle down for too long, Jonathan finds himself struggling with his recovery when all he wants to do is move on and out. Blanka Pavlo has watched her parent’s marriage deteriorate as her Nobel Prize winning father searched for the next big thing, leaving his family in the wake of his own philanthropic ways. To Blanka’s surprise, she soon begins to realize that the man with whom she is falling in love is more like her father than she could have ever imagined. Having witnessed first hand her mother’s slow decent in loneliness and heartbreak, Blanka must make a decision as it pertains to her future, and the future of the man with whom she fell in love.

The relationship between Blanka and Jonathan is one of immediate attraction but the romance is placed on hold when Jonathan offers up a kidney to his ailing sister. When Jonathan gets the all clear, our hero begins a slow seduction of Blanka Pavlo, a seduction that is derailed when Jonathan meets Blanka’s father. The Sex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are re-introduced to Jonathan’s siblings: Sean Bracelyn and Amber King (Chef Sugarlips #2), Bree Bracelyn and Austin Dugan (Sargeant Sexypants #3), Mark Bracelyn and Chelsea Singer (Hottie Lumberjack #4), as well as Chelsea’s daughter Libby, James Bracelyn and Lily Archer (Stiff Suit #5), newest sibling Isabella Blankenship; Jonathan’s mother Wendy and her husband retired US Coast Guard Admiral Chuck, as well as Jonathan’s half-sister Gretchen. We are introduced to Blanka’s parents Galyna Pavlo and Thomas Kushnir Kramer, as well as Dr. Bradley Parker. Gretchen and Gable find their own happily ever after in Snowbound Squeeze (Jan 2020); Bradley and Isabella’s story will be found in Dr. Hot Stuff (2020).

CAPTAIN DREAMBOAT is a story of family, friendship, romance and love; a story of betrayal and acceptance; of desperately trying to move on from the past. The premise is entertaining, romantic and captivating; the characters are energetic, colorful and engaging; the romance is seductive and hot. CAPTAIN DREAMBOAT has a little bit of heart break, a little bit of humor and a whole lot of heart.

REVIEW: CALCULATED RISK is the first instalment in Janie Crouch’s contemporary, adult BREE AND TANNER THRILLER romantic, suspense series focusing on thirty-three year old, sheriff’s deputy captain Tanner Dempsey, and twenty-four year old, computer genius Bree Daniels aka Bethany Malone. There is a slight cross-over with the author’s Linear Tactical series.

A secret message begging for help finds Bree in possession of her cousin Melissa Weathers’ twins, as she struggles to find food and shelter before it’s too late. What ensues is the building relationship between Bree and Tanner, and the potential fall-out as Bree’s past demands payment and more.

Bree Daniels’ has never known peace and quiet. A child genius and prodigy Bree would become the pawn for a terrorist ‘Organization’ determined to control the world by funnelling information to radical groups and revolutionary governments. When Melissa begs for help, Bree knows her whereabouts and safety have been compromised again. Tanner Dempsey knows Bree is lying about the who, how and why of her current circumstance but the people of Risk Peak take Bree under their wing in an attempt to protect a young woman who would become their own.

The relationship between Bree and Tanner is one of immediate attraction but Bree is in no place to start a relationship or fall in love. Tanner wants nothing more than to protect the woman with whom he will fall in love but a woman whose secrets are about to come crashing into the town of Risk Peak, Colorado. There are no $ex scenes-at this point their relationship is only beginning.

We are introduced to a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters: Bree’s cousin Melissa Weathers, and her twins Christian and Beth; Tanner’s brother former Special Forces soldier Noah Dempsey; Linear tactical security specilists Zac Mackay, and Gavin Zimmerman; sheriff’s deputy Ronnie Kitchens ; sheriff’s inter-county task force on communications member Scott Watson ; construction worker Bill Steele; owners of the Sunset Diner Cheryl and Dan Andrews; Organization head Michael Jeter.

CALCULATED RISK is a story of suspense, intrigue, betrayal and power. The premise is captivating and compelling; the romance is subtle; the characters are energetic and dynamic. CALCULATED RISK is a fantastic start to a new series.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date March 22, 2019

When Maria Blanchard asked Navy Seal Trevor Daniels to father a child with her, no strings attached, Trevor had no idea just how explosive his chemistry would be with the fiery woman who had been a wallflower during their high school years. He vowed never to contact her again after the positive pregnancy test. A year later, when one of Trevor’s dark ops missions ends with the death of his captain and suspicions aimed at him, Maria’s the only investigator he knows who can help him crack the case.

Maria Blanchard had been raised to be a proper Southern Belle, an archetype so wrong for her she’d retreated into books during her high school years. When the police academy finally gave her the guts to be the strong woman she’d always desired, she realized she didn’t need anyone to achieve her dreams. Not to get her dream job, and certainly not to get her dream baby. Still, when her childhood crush agreed to father her baby, she hadn’t expected her heart to open along with her legs.

When Trevor shows up on Maria’s doorstep in need of her help, he calls in his favor. However, being wanted for a military crime means that Maria won’t just be helping Trevor, she’ll be harboring a fugitive, and the father of her child. Unable to say no, when her pride and her heart are screaming yes, Maria agrees to help Trevor one final time before they break ties.

But as their bond grows stronger and love ignites, it becomes a rush to save Trevor’s life before they lose out on a future they could only dream of.

REVIEW: Saving The SEAL Baby Daddy by Katie Knight is a contemporary, adult, stand alone, erotic romance story line in the author’s SEAL series presented by Leslie North. This is Navy SEAL Trevor Daniels, and former police officer/PI/single mother Maria Blanchard’s story line. Saving the SEAL Baby Daddy can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Trevor and Maria) Saving the SEAL Baby Daddy follows US Navy SEAL Trevor Daniels in the wake of his latest overseas deployment that went all to h*ll, Charged with the murder of his SEAL team leader Captain Andrew McArthur, Trevor is hoping to jump start his own investigation back home. Enter former police office turned private investigator, and the mother of his only child, Maria Blanchard. What ensues is the rekindling friendship and building relationship between Trevor and Maria, and the potential fall-out as the threats against Trevor’s life increase as the investigation begins to reveal the dangerous truth.

One year earlier, Maria Blanchard approached family friend and SEAL Trevor Daniels to help father a child, a child he would never see and with whom he would never have any contact. Fast forward to present day wherein Trevor, desperate to prove his innocence, hires the mother of the child he never met, a child he will immediately love and protect but Maria struggles with Trevor’s return, and the possibility that our hero will demand time with his daughter.

The relationship between Maria and Trevor begins as a business arrangement wherein Maria wants Trevor to get her pregnant but will not be allowed any future involvement with the child he may never know. Back from deployment, Trevor struggles to prove he is not a murderer, a struggle that now involves the woman with whom he will fall in love. The $ex scenes are passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Trevor and Maria’s daughter Camille; Trevor’s siblings Tamsyn, and JAG Tim Daniels, and their parents, Penelope and Mr. Daniels, FBI Agent Thompson, as well as several tech geniuses who work with our story line heroine.

Saving the SEAL Baby Daddy is a story of betrayal, vengeance, power and lies; a story of family, friendship, and love. The premise is intriguing and engaging; the characters are energetic and strong; the romance seductive but I struggle to feel the palpable sexual attraction between our leading couple.
