REVIEW:THE LOVE TRAP is the third (and final ?) instalment in Nicole French’s contemporary, adult QUICKSILVER romantic suspense trilogy focusing newlyweds, attorney and billionaire heir to the De Vries Dynasty Eric de Vries, and attorney Jane Lee Lefferts-de Vries. THE LOVE TRAP should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book two THE KISS PLOT.

Told from first person perspective (Jane Lee Lefferts-de Vries) and third person Eric de Vries using present day and memories from the past, THE LOVE TRAP picks up immediately after the events of book two THE KISS PLOT wherein Eric has been arrested on trumped-up charges, and Jane is heading to Korea to search for her missing mother. Two hundred years of money, power and control by a secret society with connections to the de Vries’ dynasty finds Jane’s life hanging in the balance when Eric refuses to play the game. The oligarch’s have forced their way into the lives of the rich and famous, lives that are threatened and destroyed when rules are broken, and jealousy turns to murder in the blink of an eye.

THE LOVE TRAP is a dramatic story of love and betrayal; vengeance and greed; power, dominance, secrets and lies. Nicole French pulls the reader into a heart breaking, dark and gritty tale of loss and retribution; an intense love story threatened by resentment, spite and the antagonistic but psychotic minds of the powerful few.
