Description:
Soft-spoken and shy Hannah Fisher is determined to make the man she’s loved her entire life finally see her as a woman. With the help of a makeover, a new mission—Operation Find My Happy—and the convenient forced proximity of a tour bus, she vows to win her best friend Deacon’s heart.

Former bad boy and current fiddle player Deacon Latrell has the world at his fingertips: a new gig with a famous band, plus his best friend on tour as his son’s nanny. Life couldn’t get much sweeter. Now if only he could stop imagining kissing the daylights out of his childhood BFF…

With one friend set on pushing the boundaries and the other afraid to rock the boat, one thing’s for certain—their story would make one heck of a country song.

Review:

The Nanny Arrangement by Rachel Harris is book two in the Country Blues Series, by Rachel Harris.

Hannah Fisher is determined. She’s has finally decided to go after exactly what she wants, and that is the boy next door who she has been in love with since they were teens. After spending time away in Paris, she has come back to town with a new mission – Operation Find My Happy!  And her sights are set on her best friend, turned country rocker Deacon Latrell.

Deacon Latrell hasn’t had an ideal life. In fact if it would have been a lot worse without his best friend Hannah and her family.  He is a single father raising his young son and through it all he knew he could count on Hannah being there, that is until Hannah goes away.  While Hannah is away being an au pair in Paris he realizes just how much she means to him, but nothing will ever come between their friendship.  And it seems that everything is falling into place.  Deacon recently landed the gig touring as the fiddle player for the famous country band Blue. All he needed was a Nanny for his son Max for the tour. Just so happens Hannah returns from Paris with a new look and a mission.  She jumps at the chance to be Blue’s Nanny while on tour. What could be more perfect than spending hours on a tour bus wth Deacon and working to accomplish her mission.

I enjoyed Hannah from page one.  She was determined to make a friend of the boy next door Ashe did just that!  Now with a new look and a determination she is going to do everything in her power to get her man.  She showed her love for Deacon and his son Max in everything that she did for them.  But how can she get Deacon to see beyond their friendship and see the woman she is now! And I loved how she was awkward about getting what she wanted, completely made her relatable.

Deacon – *sigh* what is not to love! Other than it takes him forever to see what is right in front of him.  He is a loving fatherr and puts his son first.  It just takes him a little while to realize that Hannah has always been right where she was supposed to be – by his side. But his fear of losing their friendship keeps him from realizing the love of his life has been right there in front of him all along!

A wonderful book that shows you exactly what can happen when you allow friendship to bloom into romance. And a perfect summer romance. Looking forward to reading more in this series!

Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.
Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

Review:

Accidentally Married on Purpose is the third novel in the Love and Games Series by Rachel Harris.

Sherry Robicheaux is a small town girl from Magnolia Springs, Louisiana. One wild weekend in Vegas will be the last stop before she comes home and settles down and sets her sites on Mr. Boring. She is completely over the bad relationships and the heartaches. But what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there.
While in Vegas on work she meets a roadie for the country band “Blue” and she thinks she has found THE man for her last wild weekend. And boy has she ever! Sherry believes Tyler is a roadie and decides to spend the weekend with him on a whim. What she wakes up to after that weekend is over will set her world and her life on fire. Going home to Magnolia Springs will never be the same again.

But what will happen when the world finds out the truth. And what will Sherry do when she realizes Tyler isn’t who he says he is?

I read this book as a stand alone not knowing it was in a series. I loved it from page one. Sherry is the kind of girl you want as a best friend. And Tyler – sigh – is everything you want in a down home country boy. I loved the chemistry and banter between the two from the moment they met. And the sexual tension was one of the best I have read in a long time – without being overly sexual. I couldn’t put the book down. The story read like a classic romance, pulling you in and keeping you there. The tension between the main characters was enough to drive me crazy! And I now have a new vocabulary word – himbo!
Still makes me laugh out loud.

I will also be purchasing the first two books in this series because this is how I will spend my summer vacation. Emotional, romantic, and everything I want in novel.
