Told from several omniscient third person perspectives including Colin and Mari FIGHTING FOR MARI follows the building but acrimonious relationship between our story line couple. Mari Kim had always crushed on her brother’s best friend Colin Lockhart until the day he destroyed her reputation with only three words. Fast forward to present day Mari and Colin are business competitors but a recent deal with a questionable client finds Mari and Colin on the run when sabotage, and assassins take aim at our story heroine. Determined to survive, Colin and Mari begin to surmise a connection to the Cartel and possible drug running but the death of their prime suspect doesn’t ease the threats against our story line couple.

The world building follows the tempestuous relationship but building relationship between Colin and Mari , a relationship and friendships previously destroyed by lies and misunderstanding. We are introduced to Chance’s brother Enzo Hendrix, as well as several members of the Uptown Street Kings MC; Berlin’s sisters Geneva, Cheyenne and Sydney; agent and Berlin’s friend Bradford; as well as the return of Magnolia and Ezra, Adalyn and Rowan, FBI Agent Hazel Blake, and several security specialists and characters from the original Redemption Harbor series.

FIGHTING FOR BERLIN is a story of secrets and lies, family and friendships, search and rescue, relationships and love. The character driven premise is uplifting but Berlin’s hacking skills are unimaginable so go into the story with an open mind ; the characters are flirty, sassy and lively; the romance is spicy and impassioned.

Years earlier, CIA agent Adalyn Bonnevies was part of a team trying to shut down a drug smuggling ring in the Middle East but everything imploded, and the only other survivor blamed our heroine for everything that went wrong. Fast forward to present day, someone is targeting Adalyn Bonnevies, and former Marine Rowan has been called in to assist the team at Redemption Harbor Security but Adalyn wants nothing to do with the man who made it clear he hated the ground upon which she walked, and our heroine struggles to accept any help from Rowan himself. The relationship between Adalyn and Rowan is a friends to enemies to frenemies to lovers relationship in which Adalyn struggles to accept Rowan’s apologies, apologies in the face of the threats against our story line heroine. From corrupt politicians and a personal need for vengeance, Adalyn is targeted for sins of the past. Several members of the original Redemption Harbor team return in secondary and supporting roles. We are introduced to Adalyn’s sister Fleur, as well as Redemption Harbor agent Tiago.There is something developing between Tiago and Fleur.
