This is special skills consultant for the Ohio BCI (Bureau of Criminal Investigations) Alexander ‘Xander’ Stone, and twenty-five year old Isleen Walker’s story line. Told from third person perspective DANGEROUS DREAMS follows in the wake of the discovery of twenty-five year old Isleen Walker and her grandmother Gale, Gale who has been missing for over twenty five years. Xander Stone is an investigator for the Ohio BCI, with supersensitive hearing, and the ability to hear thoughts since he was struck by lightning at an earlier age but Xander struggles with the echoes of a woman’s voice, crying for help, a woman who is closer than he could have ever imagined. Isleen Walker and her grandmother Gale have been imprisoned by a monster for close to eight years, a monster who is slowly starving and bleeding Isleen and her grandmother to death. Isleen and her grandmother have ‘supernatural dreams’ wherein they are witness to what is happening or what may happen in the future, and for this Isleen is being punished by an unknown source. Her rescue by Xander, and her subsequent dreams continue to reveal the death of others, lives she struggles to save in the wake of the monster lurking behind the scenes. As our couple begin to build upon their mutual attraction, secrets reveal a past connection, as Xander and Isleen are targeted by the man in charge. What ensues is the search and rescue of Isleen and Gale; the building romance and relationship between Xander and Isleen; and the fall-out as the monster returns to finish the job he started years before.

The relationship between Isleen and Xander begins as a rescue. Isleen has been ‘dreaming’ about Xander, and Xander knows that if the woman in his mind isn’t found soon, she will not last through her terrible nightmare. Xander is immediately drawn to Isleen as she soothes the pain in his head, a pain that comes when the voices begin anew. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Xander’s father Alex, his uncle Matt, and their housekeeper Rowena; Detective Kent, and his sister Camille, as well as Isleen’s grandmother Gale, and a cameo appearance by FBI consultant Lathan Montgomery. The requisite evil has many faces. Lathan’s story is next.

DANGEROUS DREAMS is the re-release of the author’s Race the Darkness, the introductory story line focusing on a group of supernatural law enforcement who take the cases no one else is able to solve. She spends her days a mental health counselor always looking on the brightside, but at night she likes to write dark and dangerous things—with kissing and sexy times. She loves reading inspirational quotes and stories about serial killers. She is married to her favorite fellow and they have two cranky old rescue dogs that are not spoiled. Not at all. Okay. Maybe a little. Alright, the dogs are terribly spoiled, but they do give lots of cuddles and kisses in return.
