ABOUT THE BOOK: Re-release Date December 5, 2024

August

When my pro-hockey-playing twin brother tanks at the season opener and drops off the grid—I’m left picking up the pieces. And his hockey stick.
I haven’t played since high school. These days I’m more about hedge funds and suits than pucks and bunnies. But I’m far from rusty.
Then she shows up. Harper Maxwell—smart, driven, gorgeous— here looking to even the score after my brother humiliated her on prom night. Troy never deserved her, not for the minute and a half they dated and certainly not now.
When she mistakes me for him and kisses me like she’s been waiting her whole life to do it, I don’t stop her. In fact, there’s not much I have but respect when she locks me in the men’s room and takes off with my clothes.

Harper

Grumpy, gorgeous and green eyes that stare at me like I’m the only girl in the room, my ex is nothing like the arrogant narcissist I remember. What I see is a guy whose diction is as sharp as his speed across the ice. Who’s bulging biceps, chiseled jaw and crooked smile make me forget I’m here for revenge. He’s protective and impulsive in a way that makes my skin sizzle.

It’s like I’ve got the wrong guy.
Or maybe—the wrong twin.

REVIEW: What a perfect title for this book! The Wrong Twin is a standalone, sports romance with the added kick of a misidentity.

Harper Maxwell wants one thing. Revenge. Revenge for the heartbreak, the tears and the pain that Troy caused. Troy, the guy she thought loved her, the one that she trusted, the one that she thought would never leave her.Little does she know her revenge is going to take a different turn that the one she thinks. That turn takes the form of August. Troy’s twin brother. The twin brother that might just mean more to her than her own revenge.

August and Harper are two of the most interesting main characters I have read before. Their past brings chaos, tension and jealousy to their relationship, not to mention passion and forgiveness. For such a short book, I really enjoyed the banter between the main leads as well as the fast paced plot. For a sports romance, I expected a little more sports, but otherwise, I am very happy with the book.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 28, 2024

JOB SEARCH – Hideaway Springs, CO
1 result.

Single dad rancher seeking live in nanny for 9-year-old boy. Must have experience, playful and not looking for a real-life love story. (Temp job – 6 weeks only.)

Hitting refresh ten times doesn’t help.

There cannot be only one job in Hideaway Springs. Not that I won’t take literally anything at this point, but the likelihood of Levi Reeves hiring me is negative zero.

And if he does, I’d be sleeping with the horses, not his house! Or he’d call the police and “finally arrest” the town Rogue for all her misdemeanors.

But that doesn’t stop me from knocking on his door. Besides, his grumpy scowls are easy to tune out when my eyes keep drifting to the rugged edges of his face and sculpted physique.

I’m hired with a clear understanding that one: he’s desperate and two: he’s got his eye on me. And eventually, his hands too. Because come nightfall, we drop more than our animosity.

Our clothes.

Before the hot summer days turn to crisp autumn nights, he’s claimed me as his. And as hard as I’d fallen, my six weeks are up.

He may have every intention of making me stay, but my past is a reality I can never escape. And I love them both too much to bring trouble to their home.

REVIEW:Who doesn’t like a protective cowboy?

The next installment in the Hideaway Springs series; The Rogue is a spicy, single father, cowboy suspense romance that readers are sure to enjoy. While the book can be read as a standalone, for the best enjoyment of the series, I always recommend reading a series in order to get the most out of it.

Tessa is a freaking hoot! She comes off as a spitfire, but inside she has a vulnerable side she lets few people see. Having landed in a new destination (again) from her constant running, she finds herself in need of a job. And what is the only job she manages to find? Being a nanny for the grumpy cowboy who hates her. *Sigh*

Before anything Levi knew two things; one, he would do anything for his son, and two, Tessa was in trouble. The type of trouble he didn’t know, but it was trouble that he didn’t want around his kid. That unfortunately was out of his hands seeing as Jackson was half in love with her already. Slowly, Tessa breaks down his walls and Levi finds himself not only over protective of his son, but also of his nanny.

As the plot progresses, Tessa’s troubles finally catch up to her, leaving Levi to do what he does best, protect. Throughout the book, there are pieces that just brought me the biggest smile. Jackson was one of them, even more so when he is with Levi and Tessa together, their little triad family is so sweet.

Tessa and Levi work well together because Tessa needs to be treated with care, even if she puts on a stone cold front. And Levi needs to care for someone, their dynamic really makes the plot of the story more relatable. When Ms. Roxy then throws in little Jackson, his sweetness, smiles and bond with Tessa makes for some of the best reading. Very happy with the read, and way to go to the author for her latest share!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 30 ,2024

Have you ever tricked a man into bed with you?

Neither have I.
Wouldn’t dream of it—I’m a girl with class.

Except when it comes to my ex-boyfriend Noah.
Three years ago, I ruined any future with him and I’m done trying to win him back.
Better off. He’s Grumpy Gorgeous and I’m Sunshine Plain Jane.

With nothing left to keep me in our small town, and my best friend’s wedding to his brother looming, I make my amends. Call a truce so we don’t accidentally cause a scene during their big day.

The trick? Noah thinks my imaginary date to the wedding is my ticket to losing my V-card. And…I might have let him believe it.

A spark I thought was long gone ignites and suddenly he’s determined to prove I’m not ready. By volunteering himself to demonstrate.

It’s one dangerous game I agreed to, but it’s all I ever wanted. I only hope that when the truth comes out, we won’t be completely and unforgivably ruined.

REVIEW:The Ruined is the second installment in the Hideaway Springs series by Roxanne Tulley. Each book can be read as a standalone, but as always I recommend reading the series in order to get the most of the story. I really enjoyed the small town, grumpy sunshine romance feel of this story, the plot moves quickly but the characters are what keep the reader engaged.

We meet Noah in book one, and the story continues around Pepper and Chase’s wedding. Charlie and Noah don’t like either other…actually, let’s be honest, they hate each other. Charlie has been branded a cheater, everyone knows about it and won’t let her live it down. This really confused me, she clearly didn’t sleep with anyone and nothing happened, except for a kiss. A kiss that ruined her life. Noah reacts like a nutcase in my opinion, but with this book, the storyline expands and things are made clear to Noah.

Noah was not my favorite person when I first started reading, don’t get me wrong, their chemistry was Chef kiss, but the beginning of their story really didn’t make me like him. As the plot progresses and Noah learns that he was a big dummy, the couple comes to terms with the mistakes of their past and move on to a brighter future together.

Overall a wholesome, spicy summer read that I enjoyed and would recommend to fellow readers.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date April 30, 2024

Runaway bride seeks cover in the last place her politician fiancé and his people will ever think to look – the small town she grew up in. Now all she needs is a place to stay and a disguise as the bride-to-be of Denver Kings star hockey player.

When Pepper Woods left Hideaway Springs nearly a decade ago, I said good riddance.
The polished homecoming queen and class president was far too “city girl” for my likes.

I couldn’t care less that she got engaged to the President’s son. I barely even noticed.
But now she’s back.

Racing into the only Inn in town. With a veil tucked in her purse and running shoes on her feet, ranting like it’s the end of the world when my father tells her we’re sold out.

I should walk away. I’ve got practice in one hour and not going to let Perfect Pepper distract me.

So, how does she end up on the back of my motorcycle on my way to the arena?

And why—of all the insane things I could have done—did I offer to disguise her as my fiancé to throw off Mr. Politics and his search party?

REVIEW:The Runaway is the first installment of a new sports romance series by Rozanne Tully. The Hideaway Springs series I’m guessing is going to revolve on Chase and his brothers and I am here for it. The vibes for this book range from small town romance to second chance love, to one bed, to sporty-suspense, what a world-wind.

Pepper has a past like most do, but her past is riddled with drama and heartache. When she runs out on her wedding, she runs straight back to the one place she always felt safe, but left behind all those years ago. Back to her small town of Hideaway Springs. A perfect name for the place where she wants to do just that; hide away from everything.

Chase is the King of the Denver Kings Hockey Team; the captain to be precise; and a hometown native to Hideaway Springs. With their chance encounter; the pair find themselves drawn to one another, and as happened stance, Chase turns out to be just the person she needs to get her out of her current situation.

Enter into the world of small town drama, hockey and slow burn romance and mystery. Can Chase and Pepper learn to trust one another long enough to get them out of their newest lie? Will Pepper ever come clean? And what about the brothers? Too many questions to not read and find out. Overall the book was interesting and easy to keep up. The main characters had a good, fun chemistry and enough laughs to give a good giggle now and again. I would happily recommend it to other readers.
