REVIEW: SEER is the second instalment in KL Savage’s contemporary, adult RUTHLESS KINGS MC: NOLA erotic, MC, paranormal, romance series-a spin off from/ set in the author’s RUTHLESS KINGS MC world. This is Ruthless Kings MC: NOLA vice president Nicholas ‘Seer’ Abner, and healer Victoria Cromwell’s story line. SEER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from several first person perspectives (Seer and Tory) SEER follows in the wake of a psychic attack against our story line hero. Nicholas ‘Seer’ Abner is a ‘seer’ but the pain from his visions is getting worse, headaches that are affecting his job with the Ruthless Kings MC, landing a fellow brother in a dangerous situation. Another psychic attack leaves Nicholas battling for his life until a stranger comes forward saying she was sent to help heal Nicholas Abner. Enter Victoria Cromwell, and the woman with whom Seer will fall in love. What ensues is the battle to heal Seer, and the potential fall-out when Victoria discovers the truth and the reality of the person attacking the man that she loves.

Victoria Cromwell was sent to New Orleans in the wake of the attack against Nicholas Abner. With her ability as a ‘soul searcher’ Victoria must ‘seek’ deep within our story line hero in an effort to save the man with whom she would fall in love but several members of the Ruthless Kings MC distrust the surprising appearance of our story line heroine, an appearance they believe is too coincidental in the face of what happened and why. Nicholas ‘Seer’ Abner had no idea that his past was about to resurface, a past he had desperately tried to escape but when Victoria is targeted, Seer must take control, facing the people who destroyed his life.

The relationship between Seer and Victoria begins in the wake on the attack against our story line hero. Victoria is desperate to ‘heal’ Nicholas Abner, a desperation that will affect her life going forward. From the outset, Victoria has said her time in New Orleans comes with an expiry date but Seer was hoping his love was enough to keep Victoria home.The $ex scenes are passionate and intense.

The secondary and supporting characters included MC president Pocus and Abigail (Pocus), as well as Hex, Knox, Bones and Graveyard.

SEER is a story of betrayal and vengeance, obsession and power, dysfunctional family dynamics, magic and mayhem. The premise is intriguing and enchanting; the romance is seductive and emotional; the characters are dynamic and charismatic.
