Told from dual first person perspectives (Kaleb and Brooke) ASK ME follows Brooke Braham’s visit to Cherry Blossom Lake, the site of a tremendous loss but meeting Kaleb Spencer-King felt like meeting a kindred spirit, a man who knows loss first hand. As their relationship begins to develop, Brooke is pulled into the dysfunctional Spencer-King family, a family where she feels at home but Brooke’s time in Cherry Blossom Lake comes with an expiry date, and our couple are refusing to acknowledge the proverbial elephant in the room.

The world building focuses on love and loss, grief and guilt. The Spencer-King family has struggled with lies, loss, betrayal and guilt .Unable to get past the betrayal of someone close, Kaleb battles between head and heart, struggling with issues of trust but Kaleb’s mistrust is equaled by Brooke’s inability to let go for the grief and guilt of her own loss.

The relationship between Brooke and Kaleb is one of immediate attraction and commiseration over similar yet different losses. Kaleb continues to struggle with a former betrayal, and Brooke abides by her own rules regarding grief and loss. We are introduced to Kaleb’s siblings, as well as their struggling mother; Brooke’s assistant Maxine.

ASK ME is a story of secrets and lies, loss and grief, family and relationships, forgiveness and love. The premise is riveting and enthralling; the characters are broken and struggling; the romance is seductive and passionate.

Told from several omniscient third person POVs including Josh Watson, and numerous and limited perspectives SHADOW OF JUSTICE: THE FALL AND RISE follows NYPD Detective Josh Watson as he hunts for the killer of his NYPD partner. Detective Robert ‘Bobby’ Cooper was gunned downed, and in the aftermath, Detective Josh Watson begins to spiral out of control. The world building follows several pathways including the power of the ruling secret society as it takes aim at the Domachenkov family; and places the next generation in the direct line of fire. The relationship between Dmitri and Mackenzie is a friends to forbidden lovers. Dmitri’s father refuses to accept Dmitri’s relationship with Mackenzie Domachenkov, and in this, past memories slowly surface as to what happened and why. Mackenzie finds herself often on the outside looking in, pining for a man she has loved from afar. The $ex scenes are intimate and impassioned without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters included the return of Lucian and Eilish, Kade and Isabelle; Aleksander Ivanov, as well as the introduction of Mackenzie’s father Adrian Domachenkov , and Dmitri’s father, chancellor of Raventhorn Maxim Valneko.

WICKED KNIGHT is a story of secrets and lies, power and control, betrayal and vengeance, dysfunctional families, desperation and love. The premise is dramatic, captivating and engaging; the romance is provocative and seductive; the characters are broken but determined and charismatic.
