ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date FEBRUARY 27, 2023

This grumpy hero makes things hard for the nanny.
You know what? I’m over him.
His moods.
The verbal sparring.
Those biceps that look like they were cut from marble.
Okay, maybe I’m not over him being shirtless.
Chase Marshall is a single dad with a daughter to love, so fighting with me shouldn’t be a priority. But he can’t seem to stay away.
The lingering looks when he thinks I’m not watching.
The seemingly innocent touches while making breakfast.
The smirks gracing his lips after I’m irritated by his antics.
He’s ridiculously sweet to his daughter. I even catch glimpses of how charming he could be to me—if he wanted to.
But that’s the problem. He acts like he doesn’t want to. That he doesn’t want me.
He does. It’s in the innuendos, the way he places his hand in the small of my back—the almost kisses while we’re putting away groceries. The way he comes running when I see a spider and checks on me before he goes to bed. Even if he does grumble about it.
I might not be totally over my boss, but I’m going to make him think I am.
Let’s see how frustrated Mr. Marshall gets now.

REVIEW: There is nothing like a good grumpy sunshine troupe, and Adriana Locke does it better than most. More Than I Could is a fun, sweet, romance that has the feels, all the spicy and all the best drama. This is a standalone in the Adriana Locke world so read to your heart’s content.

Megan and Chase have quick chemistry and are even quicker to act on it when Megan becomes Chase’ daughters new nanny. Yes, that’s right, it’s the nanny and daddy romance. What’s better is that Chase is a grumpy bear, but with a heart of gold. Little Kennedy is a Daddy’s girl, and Chase, while he struggles, is an amazing father.

The dynamic between Chase and Megan is enjoyable to read, and those moments with the three of them together, well they are enough to give anyone a toothache. Then, on the flip side of the couple they have the funniest back and forth arguing, and wow, even better spicy bits.

Adriana Locke always takes her time with her main character, developing their stories and emotions, but her side characters are also so likable and fun to read. I hope to see Gavin and Kate getting a story as well. If you like a heartwarming story to read during the cold nights, well look no further than More Than I Could.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 20, 2021

“I had to sneeze.”
I should’ve taken her insurance information and driven off like any reasonable CEO with places to be would.
She crashed into my car, for heaven’s sake. Because she had to sneeze.
What did I do? I didn’t get in my car and drive away, if that’s what you’re thinking.
Nope. I stuck around. I could suggest I stayed because she needed help, but the truth? She was really, really hot.
We became fast friends. Then friends with benefits. Before I knew it, we were involved in an illicit office romance that had me fumbling through a drawerful of panties to get a Post-It.
It was supposed to be easy—a fling, if you will. A dashing millionaire hero (*adjusts tie*) and a beautiful (stubborn, frustratingly independent, hell-on-wheels) damsel in distress. (Don’t tell her I said that.)
It wasn’t supposed to be forever, but we did want a happy ending. (Pun intended.) We could’ve made it work, too.
But one of us overcomplicated things with the L-word. And the other? They omitted a truth that changed everything.

REVIEW:*Dives for kindle*

Relentless is here! Book Four in the Mason Family series has arrived from the lovely Adriana Locke. Relentless is a contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone in the series, but as I always recommend, it’s better in the series order. This book is such a good read, it’s fun, it’s happy, its drama, it’s spicy, it’s everything you want to inject into your own life sometimes. And what’s better you ask? It’s on Kindle Unlimited!

Shaye luck hasn’t been the best the last few years, she is still dealing with the issues of her past, but she’s a strong independent woman who doesn’t take crap for anything. She wants to earn her way and pay back what needs to be paid back. This motto is what she is basing her life around at the moment, well she was until she sneezed her way into her very own CEO.

Oliver is a workaholic, a hot as Hades workaholic, but nonetheless, spends far too much time behind his desk. His life revolves around work, sure he makes time for his family, family is family, but the spare time for relationships is not for him. Having been burned by love in the past, Oliver has taken his work as his wife and has no plans to change. That was, until Shaye.

A chance encounter, a connection that sparks more than lust, can Oliver let go of the past and move on to greener pastures? Or will his workaholic ways win out?

What a story! I love Ollie and Shaye so much! Their relationship was so much fun to read, from the beginning of the Mason Family series, I couldn’t wait to see what Addy would do, where she would go with the character, who she would pair everyone up with. All I have to say is, way to go girly! I can always count on Addy for a good book, her characters are so real and relatable. I want a family like the Mason’s!

He fiddles with his tie. “Otherwise, I’ll be back upstairs in a few hours, and we can head up to legal. You’ll be communicating with them a lot, and I want to make the introductions.”
“Okay,” I say, following his lead and standing.
He comes around the corner of his desk and stops a few feet in front of me.
Our eyes lock, his irises shifting colors again—deepening—as he takes me in. If we were in another place—any other place—at another time—besides the office in which we both work—I’d raise on my tiptoes and kiss him.
At least, I think that’s what I would do. It’s been so long. But the version of me that lives in my head and plays out fictional romantic interludes believes that’s what would happen.
My mouth goes dry, and my lips are downright parched. But as the reel of the make-believe kiss we’d share finishes in my head, I scamper back to reality and the fact that he’s my boss. And no matter how kissable he is or what I wouldn’t give to lean in to this feeling—the one that feels pretty and desired—I don’t.
I can’t.
Because life is about priorities and having a roof over your head is a big one. So, too, is ensuring that you don’t give people the ability to screw up your life.
Kissing my boss would surely put me at risk for the first one. It would definitely be wading into the waters of the second.
“Let me know if you need anything from me today,” I say, my voice a little raspier than I would like.
His eyes darken, but all he does is nod.
I lift my chin and give him my best-practiced smile. Then I turn on my heel and escape into my office.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 12, 2021

She’d spent her entire life as a wallflower, hiding from the rest of the world.

Willow Thorne had gotten really good at blending in with the wallpaper. The shy, quiet little mouse was more comfortable spending her days in her protective little bubble. Then she met a big, burly mechanic who looked really good on a motorcycle and made her feel things she’d never felt before.

Gavin “Stone” Hendrix didn’t do commitment, and love was completely out of the question. After spending the first half of his life taking care of everyone else, he was done being the responsible one. Then he met a shy, nervous brunette who knocked him off his feet and made him question everything he thought he believed.

Willow brought out his protective instincts. Stone made her want to step out of her shell.

No one in a million years expected the hard-as-stone biker to fall for the wallflower, but the small town of Redemption was in for a major surprise.

••••••

REVIEW: Hear ye, hear ye, the wizard of words has graced us with her presence again and taken pity on her humble readers. Wallflower by Jessica Prince is a continuation of The Redemption series, book five in this contemporary small town romance series.

From the moment I met Willow in the previous books, I was dying to get my hands on her story. Willow is like so many women out there, a wallflower waiting to blossom, but sometimes that flower needs something a little more than water and sunshine to blossom. For Willow, that something is Stone. Gavin “Stone” Hendrix, the gargantuan, tatted, motorcycle riding man that poor Willow has been crushing on since he walked back into his hometown.

Now I know what you’re thinking, big bad biker, sweet, bashful Willow isn’t going to be his type, right? *Grins* You know that saying it’s the quite ones you have to worry about? Well that saying was made for Willow Thorne. Under all the bashfulness, the shy-klutzy girl, with her two sizes too big clothes lives a fire breathing dragon.

Stone, from an early point in his life has decided that relationships are not for him. For most of his life, Stone has been taking care of everyone else, his sister and family, and love was out of the question. Having now settled back into his hometown of Redemption, Stone is content to live his life with his one-night stands, his dog, and his cars.

That was until he met a certain dark-haired land mermaid.

From beginning to end, Wallflower is a book you will not be able to put down after starting. With funny banter between friends to happy moments with family, to spicy moments on motorcycles, it has it all. Willow and Stone are matched so well as characters that they feel so alive when you read them. Stone is a manly man, all set up to fight Willow’s battles for her, to take care of her, but that’s not who she is. Stone comes to learn that just being there for her means more to her than having things done for her. Willow has to be one of my most favorite characters from any series or author. With a backbone of steel but covered in kitten fur, she comes into her own in this book. For someone that has always been a loner, to gaining true, loving friends-Rora is freaking hilarious and I love her!- and finding someone that loves her, wallflower and all, Willow is relatable. Get your pre-orders in now readers, it’s a five star review read!

It had been a good day.
Actually, that was an understatement. It had been a great day. At least until I got to my dad’s house to go through his kitchen and see what all he needed, only to discover that Elaina had seriously downplayed the need for food in his house.
I’d played it off that I was totally fine for my father’s benefit as I stewed in my anger while making a grocery list that took up the front and back of the page.
By the time I got to the store, I was in serious need of an outlet, so I cued up the Pissed Chick playlist on my phone, stuffed earbuds in my ears, and got to work. I was halfway through shopping, Alanis Morissette wailing about how you oughta know in my ears when I rounded the corner and my cart crashed into someone else’s.
“Sorry, I—” The rest of the words died in my throat when I looked up and saw the cart I’d plowed into belonged to none other than Stone himself, the very man I’d been thinking about nonstop since my talk with Lark earlier that morning. “Stone,” I said on a gasp, sucking back the air that my lungs had expelled at the mere sight of him. “Hi.”
He said something I couldn’t hear over the music ringing in my ears.
I gave him an apologetic smile and yanked the buds out of my ears. “Sorry, I didn’t hear you. What was that?”
The song had just reached the chorus, the volume so loud it carried several feet, and I could tell from the grin on his face that he definitely heard it. “Wow. Didn’t take you for an Alanis fan,” he said in that gravelly rasp that always made my skin tingle and pressure build between my thighs. What could I say? The man gave great voice. I didn’t know if male phone sex operators were a thing or not, but if they were, he could make a freaking fortune.
“Oh, uh, yeah. Sometimes. I have a playlist I like to listen to it when someone’s made me ragey.”
On cue, the song ended, and the next queued up; this time, it was Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name.”
His eyes went big at the sound of it. “You’re just full of surprises, mouse.”

??’? ????? ?? ?????, ?? ? ??????? ?? ??? ???? ???? ? ???? ??? ??????, ???? ???? ????.

After ending the world’s worst relationship, Marin Grey had sworn off men. So it was rather inconvenient that she couldn’t seem to keep her eyes and thoughts off the Ice King himself, Pierce Walton—also known as her ex-boyfriend’s older, much hotter brother.

He was cold, callous, and rude. He was also the most gorgeous man she’d ever laid eyes on, which made the fact that he’d hated her from first sight all the more unfair.

When circumstances dictate they put their swords away so Marin can help Pierce take care of his son, that ice-cold hate suddenly takes a turn into something much hotter. And if they aren’t careful, they could both be burned alive.

REVIEW: *Dancing in my chair happy*

The beautiful Ladies of The Whiskey Dolls have arrived! When I heard that JP was coming out with a spin off of the Hope Valley series, but with a similar small-town vibe, I was floored! I had high hopes for the series, and I was not disappointed, Bombshell was a great book to start this series off.

Marin Grey is too funny! She’s sassy, she’s flirty, she’s fun in the sun and down to Earth, she’s the girl everyone would want to be friends with. Well this Bombshell has sworn off men. With an ex as bad as hers, there’s no question as to why her faith in men has all but floated away. That was all men…except him. The one that she can’t keep her eyes…or mind off of.

Pierce Walton.

None other than her trash bag of an ex’s brother. Too bad, even though he’s hotter than any other man she’s ever seen, he’s also the Ice King.

Cold and rude.

What could bring these two together? You guessed it, little Eli, the cutest little chicken nugget of the story. When things come up, and Pierce turns to Marin for a little help, things get sweet and saucy. The plot of the story is fun and easy to keep up with, while it’s not overly serious, there are moments that are serious and give the story that “family serious”.

Reading the different characters was so much fun, Pierce was my favorite to read about, not just as the guy of the story, but because he’s also a single dad doing his best to raise his son well and that is so cool to see portrayed. When you get deeper into the book, we delve deeper into the relationship between Pierce and his family, which I’m sorry to say comes off as toxic.

Nevertheless, Pierce and Marin are amazing together, their attraction is hot, their chemistry is even better, their little moments of fun are my most favorite. I’m a sucker for small town romance, but when a cold, up-tight fella finally pulls the stick out…..lol there isn’t anything better. It was also a great time visiting with characters from Hope Valley, I will forever love Ms. Weatherby.

Way to go JP for kicking off the Whiskey Dolls series with a bang! I can’t wait to see the rest of the Dolls get their HEA!

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

ABOUT THE BOOK : Release Date November 30, 2020

?????? ????? ???, ??? ????? ???? ?????? ???? ? ????.
We are all, for better or worse, doomed to love each other until death do us part. My heart belongs to Proserpina and St. Sebastian—even if he no longer wants it. Even if she has left it behind to follow him.
Delphine’s fled back home, and Becket’s holy calling is in peril.
And now only Rebecca and I remain at Thornchapel to face the unknown.
The door is open. The door that shouldn’t exist; the door that people have died to close. I don’t feel like the lord of the manor…I don’t feel like a king or a wild god. I am a friend and a boyfriend and a brother—and a failure at being all of these things. But the door doesn’t care about my guilt. It only cares about the sacrifice I’ll make to close it.
As the bruising dark of Samhain approaches, so does the fate of our circle, of Thornchapel and the village and the valley beyond it. And I must don the crown, because one thing is still true, even if I must face it alone.

REVIEW:It’s here, it’s hot, it’s confusing and crazy, it’s odd and tantalizing, it’s everything you want and more that you don’t expect. Door of Bruises is the fourth installment in the Thornchapel series by Sierra Simone.

Door of Bruises continues off where book three ended, the door is open and our group of misfits have all left the manor, except Auden and Rebecca. Now for those readers who have not read the first three books, I implore you to read the previous books first. The Thornchapel series is so much more than physical lust that does come through the story, its also the complex relationships between these six individuals. Each person brings something new to the group, each needing something from the other, some connecting more with others, but still each member of this rag-tag family needs the other. They are connected by more than just their parents, secrets, pain, love and now, whatever Thornchapel has in store for them.

This is a different type of review I would leave, but the series has been a once in a lifetime read for sure. There are some books that change a reader, and then others, like this one, that change the way a reader will think. This did that for me. It’s a eye opening, phenomenal read, that I most definitely recommend to all my friends!
