Enter a world of mystery, suspense, sin, and heart-wrenching emotion with Helen Hardt’s new series!

They’re drawn into a world of seductive sin…

Savannah Gallo sacrificed herself to save her lover and is now imprisoned inside an opulent mansion belonging to a rival crime family. Despite the confining walls, her spirit remains unbroken. She’s nothing if not resilient, and she’s determined to use every ounce of her strength and cunning to outwit her captor.

In prison, Falcon Bellamy mastered the art of survival, and he refuses to surrender the woman he loves without a fight. After enlisting his ex-Navy SEAL friend, he goes after Savannah with precision and determination.

But Savannah’s captor is also determined. She must face some harsh truths about her family—secrets and betrayals more complex than she ever imagined that put both her and Falcon’s lives in danger.

REVIEW:Seductive Sin is book three in the Bellamy Brothers saga by Helen Hardt. As always, I recommend reading the series in order, but I do think there is enough backstory that each book can be read as a standalone, but this is the end of the three books, so I would strongly suggest reading the first two.

Seductive Sin picks up where book two left off, Falcon is anxious to get Savannah back, but it won’t be easy. There is a lot that has happened in the previous two books that have led up to what is happening in the current book, and because of that HH gives nothing away. Falcon is giving his all to get Savannah back, giving it his all and putting his heart on the line for her.

There is still a great level of suspense in the plot of the story, and this author is known for her romantic suspense and killer cliff hangers. Thankfully however, the series concludes with a nice little boy and an after thought of smile. For fans of this author, I think you enjoy the series and how it ends, overall, a very good read and would recommend it to others

Enjoyable for him? He’s already enjoying this. Whether I lie like a dead fish or fight him to the end, he’ll enjoy it. He’ll get off.
I flush the toilet and look in the mirror once more. My skin is pale, my hair is stringy, and the anxiety of the last several hours is imprinted deeply into my eyes.
I see myself as whoever is watching me sees me.
A pawn.
A weakling.
A mere thing.
I can’t escape. I made my choice.
I chose the wellbeing of Falcon over my own.
And as much as I hate what’s about to happen to me, I can’t bring myself to regret it.
I leave the bathroom, enter the bedroom—
Miles is there already, standing by the bed, naked, his hard cock jutting out and ready.
I swallow, forcing the food to remain in my stomach.
I lie on the bed, and he lifts my satin gown, hovers over me, his face menacing.
“Tonight you’re mine, Savannah Gallo. Welcome to hell.”

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 29, 2024

One bed.
Two stranded strangers.
Three wildly passionate nights.
A thousand secrets between them.

After getting trapped in a blizzard, my private jet grounded, with no hotel room available within miles, I met a woman at the bar.

Rowan.

A knockout blessed with killer curves, gorgeous emerald eyes, and a mouth that should be illegal. She triggered all the primal and possessive emotions I’d never known I had.

Not the typical Cooper Spade that the world had come to know.

What followed was a fiery, unforgettable, wildly explosive weekend of sizzling touches, passionate nights, and intense chemistry.

The rebel had finally fallen …

But when the storm cleared, I returned to LA and learned that the woman I’d just spent seventy-two carnal hours with was the enemy, and I’d loved every minute of it.

•••••

REVIEW:The Rebel by Marni Mann is book two in the Spade Hotel series. As always; I recommend reading book one before diving into the Rebel. This is a billionaire hottie, enemies to lover’s romance, with the best of the best alphas that are sure to drive readers just about crazy.

The Rebel features Cooper and Rowan as the main characters, and their adventure towards something neither were expecting. Cooper is the next leader to the Spade Hotel chain; he’s an alpha who loves control, but is more about business than anything else. While scouting for a new hotel location abroad, he suddenly finds himself stranded over the Christmas holiday with nothing more than business to keep him warm during the cold nights.

Until Her. Rowan; the alluring woman that he meets in the hotel lounge. Together they spend the weekend getting to know one another, and of course one thing leads to another and they are tumbling the sheets away. But what happens when they have to return to real life?

A big ole surprise that’s what.

No spoilers of course, but Cooper and Rowan light up the pages of this full-length novel for sure. Ms. Author is full of surprises in this new series, what she has in store for us next is something I can’t wait for!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 20, 2024

After twenty years, the cracks in Lauren Reed’s marriage are showing. She and her husband, Jack, feel more like roommates than a loving couple. What they have in common are two wonderful teenagers, Michael and Maddie, and the same wistful question: When did it all go wrong? Now that Lauren’s decided to get on with her life—alone—divorce is inevitable.

Not to the kids. They aren’t giving up so easily.

Michael and Maddie have conspired with their grandfather to bring everyone together for a vacation in the family’s favorite summer getaway, a rustic lakeside cabin in Story Brook, Ohio. Awkward? Yep. A little deceptive? Sure. But as far as traps go, Lauren and Jack agree—the meddlers couldn’t have set one that was more scenic or filled with so many bittersweet memories.

This trip is going to be life-changing for the whole family. Fourteen days of hope, heartbreak, and unexpected possibilities—like maybe falling in love all over again.

••••

REVIEW:Nothing But It All by Adriana Locke is a standard alone contemporary romance geared towards second chance marriage and slow burn readers.

Jack and Lauren’s marriage is in trouble, she knows it, he knows it, they both want to change it. Sometimes though, wanting a change and making a change is harder than expected. These two are still deeply in love, but their relationship has taken a beating. Now, they have to stop and make time to heal their relationship.

Nothing But It All is not the typical romance; it deals with more of the relationship aspect of marriage than anything and the importance of communication. That being said, this book will definitely hit readers in the feels. You can feel the emotions of Jack and Lauren and the complications they are facing in their marriage.

That being sad, this genre was not my personal cup of tea. The plot and storyline of the book was a bit slow for my taste. Overall, the book was enjoyable, but the genre was not to my liking.

REVIEW:Aldo is the first installment in the Men of the Falls series by Melanie Moreland. This author is new to me; but I am pleased with the book that introduced me to her. Aldo is what I like to call a dark hero; one that will burn the world to the ground to save his woman. Morally gray if you will.

Dealing with a string of bad luck, and a now nonexistent support system she has to start all over again. Soon Vi is searching for a job and lands in The Maple. The Maple is a hot up and coming hotel and casino and it just so happens to be ran my the mafia.

This is where she Aldo; the enforcer and right hand man of the Costas brothers. Aldo is her boss and as her boss she needs to look steer clear…..even if she doesn’t want tiZ

What a Mafia story. The chemistry was there, the spice was there, is borderlines in a dark romance. What isn’t to like. I’m curious too see so what’s going to happen to Luca. He’s just like his brother; strong, smart and not willing to take no for an answer.

Let the battle begun.

Only the chemistry that burns between us won’t fade away.
We promise it will only be one night.
Then another.
But when our actions have consequences that could mean the end of our future, we’ll have to figure out exactly what we want.
Even if it means walking away broken before it begins.

REVIEW:Guess who’s back…back again? The Montgomery’s and they are playing with all of my emotions! Happily Ever Maybe by the ever talented Carrie Ann Ryan is the next story in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series. Now this one is a novella, so it’s a but shorter, but nonetheless it is packed with all the goodness CAR is known for.

Gus and Jen are co-workers and partners now in the Montgomery Security Firm, both love their jobs, but both are feeling more than a little “friendly” with each other. Neither however want to make the first move and mess up their friendship or their working relationship. But what always happens in a good ole romance novel? That’s right. They finally give into their chemistry and agree to a glorified one-night stand. Yeah right. Neither of them was ready for what the night unlocked for them.

I will always go for CAR books. Her characters are so relatable and real when reading. Jen and Gus were a hoot! Jen is a baddie and she knows it, but under that strong personality is a soft, feminine woman just waiting for the right guy to make a move. Gus, well he holds a special place in my heart. He is everything you would want in an alpha guy; but with a golden boy personality. He is so sweet and I just love it for Jen. CAR is a word wizard and I can’t wait to see what she has waiting for us next.

But for some reason, I was edgy now.
No, that was a lie. It wasn’t just some reason. I knew exactly what it was.
And it wasn’t Daisy and Kane, my fellow team members today. No, it was the other one.
Her.
I didn’t want to think about her, but I wasn’t sure I could stop. I needed to, however. My job demanded it.
I was a bodyguard and an installer. I not only protected my clients and charges, I also installed security equipment for businesses and homes. While my bosses laid out the security profiles and programs for large corporations and small residences—and also worked with cybersecurity—I did the installs when I wasn’t on bodyguard duty. I enjoyed both aspects of my job and was talented at it.
Yet it didn’t feel like that.
Not with her.
It was always hard to think about anything when it came to Jennifer. My coworker and my nemesis. Not that she knew she was my nemesis. No, that was all on me.
Those blue-gray eyes of hers were piercing and saw everything. At least when it came to the job. She could scent an incoming threat as quickly as I could, and that was saying something. I might be cocky as fuck when it came to my job, but it was for a reason.
And Jennifer was sometimes even better.
Her dark brown hair was pulled into a tight bun away from her face. I liked it when her hair was down, though, since it fell in soft waves past her shoulders. She pulled it back in a ponytail or a braid when she was working out, but when she was on duty, like today, it was in a bun, so nobody could use it against her in a fight.
I always kept my hair decently short, but my beard was getting longer. I’d probably have to trim it soon. I wasn’t trying to blend in like I had with my old job when everybody had long beards, and I was undercover. Now, I needed to trim it a bit so nobody could pull it in a fight.
But Jennifer? She’d thought about all of that already. Hence the bun.
She was slim with a narrow waist and average height—though not much about her was average. But that delicate frame was all muscle. She could bench press more than a few of the guys on the team and kick any of our asses on any given day. Hell, she’d pinned me to the ground once, and I nearly swallowed my tongue. And then I’d had to hide my erection from her. Like I did most days. Because Jennifer was a distraction.
My distraction.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 8, 2024

We’ll marry her off to the highest bidder…but I’ll pay the price.

The Agency is an open secret among men of a certain tax bracket.

You need a wife who understands your lifestyle? We’ll hand-select options from the eligible daughters of men who’d love to cement a business alliance with you. Sometimes, the daughters don’t even know they’re being set up.

That’s my specialty: I run a Caribbean resort so exclusive it doesn’t even have a website, arranging meet-cutes between rich men and their future trophy wives.

I wasn’t looking for love myself.

Blair found me, brooding on a beach the week before my next client showed up.

She made me break my rule about never going back for more. Over and over again. Our one-week stand was hotter than July on the island.

And then my client introduced me to the daughter who doesn’t know he’s signed her with the Agency. The woman I’m in charge of setting up with one of the men her father has chosen for her.

Blair.

•••••

REVIEWSecret Offer is the first in Stella Gray’s new Agency series. While this author is newer to me, I am happy to have found her. This new series is a mis between found family, arranged marriage and billionaire romance.

Sebastian is a man with a broken heart, one that he is finally starting may be ready for mending. But after spending time with, things start to change. Brooke loves her family, but spending a week of vacation with them is not what she would call relaxing. Brooke wants to enjoy the time; she just graduated college and before she starts working for her family’s business, she wants to spread her wings and live her life.

On a wander around; Brooke finds herself walking down who other than Sebastian’s private beach. When Seb and Brooke meet, they hit it off, so much so that she thinks she can fall in love with the guy. Too bad when she finds out that her parents are here to auction her off to the highest bidder, who just happens to be the mysterious man she found on the beach. Seb doesn’t care though, he is smitten with Brooke; she is smart, funny and a ray of sunshine in his bleak life.

The storyline moves quicker than I would like it to, but the plot is fun and easy to read. Gray’s characters are always entertaining and make the reader want to befriend them. Plus; who doesn’t love a wounded billionaire reading to find love again?

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 5, 2024

When Beau Wade left his small hometown of Whitecap, Oregon, he swore to himself he’d never go back. But when his NFL career goes up in smoke, that’s exactly what he finds himself doing.

Not much has changed in the ten years he’s been gone. Gossip still spreads through town like wildfire, Dropped Anchor is still the local’s favorite bar, and the woman he’s been secretly in love with most of his life still hates his guts.

Presley Fields is even more beautiful than he remembered. Her smile has the power to light up a room and that bubbly personality of hers is still as strong as ever. For everyone but Beau, anyway, and that’s the least he deserves for making her high school years a nightmare.

He isn’t the same stupid kid he was back then, and after watching her slip through his fingers too many times, the tides have finally turned in his favor. It’ll take a miracle, and every ounce of charm he has, but he’s determined to win her heart. And this time, he intends to keep it.

••••••

REVIEW:It’s official; JP holds part of my soul with these books! Turn of the Tides is the third installment in the Whitecap series. Each can be read as a standalone, but as always, and even more so with Jessica Prince, I recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of it. TOTT is an enemy to lovers, small town, sporty romance that has all the feels and drama to boot.

Presley is a Whitecap native and Beau is the douchebag that used to make her life a living hell. Nothing in her ever thought that would change, even him getting older. Turns out she was wrong. When his NFL career ends; Beau finds himself heading back to his roots and back to the woman he won’t admit he still has feelings for. A single step into her bar, and that’s all it takes.

These two have so much chemistry. I really enjoyed the first couple of chapters and the flashbacks we get of the pair in their younger years. I think it gives the book another level of emotion, to really see why they have the feelings they do as adults. Their banter is infectious and funny, and when they finally figure themselves out, they have the best couple energy.

No spoilers, I don’t want to give anything away. Just trust me and read it!

It’s impossible to avoid him in this small town.
And when my grandmother pushes us to organize the annual love festival. . . I get the feeling only one of us will come out of this alive.

Let the mind games begin.

•••••

REVIEW:I just love small town romance! Love in Kentbury is the third installment in the series, and while it may be third, it can be read as a standalone in the series. This story was so sweet and loving, it was like getting the best bear hug when you really need one.

Henrik and Louanne’s story is sweet like the first bite of chocolate after a really bad day. Henrik is a bit broken and lost after his hockey career with the Boston Blizzards takes a hit. He spends his time leading a much more mellow life than before, in his remote cabin, teaching others to ice skate. Louanne is a bit the same; her husband cheats on her, then puts her through a horrible divorce, takes her kids from her and leaves her with nothing. So she returns home in hope of mending some family fences and getting her life back, aka her kids.

When Henrik learns that Louanne has returned, and what happened with her children, he is all on board to help her, he just isn’t sure how to at first. Neither have seen each other for years, so when they start working together they don’t know what to think of the chemistry they are feeling. Louanne, however much into her feelings for Henrik, is scared to get too close and have the chance at getting her kids back, taken away. They both know that sometimes in life, things don’t go the way you think and love doesn’t always mean forever.

This book is all about feelings and I can’t believe how real it felt reading. Henrik and Louanne
and the emotions they were experiencing, were so real. I give the author major great for her plot and storyline, this book was amazing.
