ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 4, 2018
Warren O’Neil is a single dad constantly juggling two very different lifestyles. While trying to be the best father he can to his young son, he’s also a devoted member of the notorious Savage Kings MC.
War never claimed he was perfect at either role, but he knows that he’s a helluva lot better parent than his junkie ex-wife.
Nova McQueen doesn’t like being the bad guy who rips kids from their homes. She’s only trying to protect them from neglect and abuse.
And while the big, dirty-talking biker may have once given Nova a wild weekend that she’ll never forget, War is as far from father of the year as you can get. His participation in a motorcycle gang makes Nova certain that his son is in danger.
There’s a storm on the horizon; and as tempers flare, a natural disaster may destroy more than just the town the Savage Kings has built.
But it’ll take more than an act of God himself to take War’s son away from him.
And Nova can’t decide if she wants to continue to fight the biker’s wrath or succumb to him.

REVIEW: WAR is the fourth instalment in the contemporary, adult SAVAGE KINGS MC erotic, romance MC series co-authored by Lane Hart and DB West. This is single father/ Sargeant at Arms Warren ‘War’ O’Neil, and social worker Nova McQueen’s story line. WAR can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion as there is an on-going premise throughout.
NOTE: WAR contains scenes of spanking and discipline that may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person points of view (Nova and War) WAR follows the quick building relationship between single father/ Sargeant at Arms Warren ‘War’ O’Neil, and social worker Nova McQueen. When her car breaks down on the side of the road Nova will come face to face with her future in the guise of the Savage Kings Sargeant At Arms Warren O’Neil. Broke and struggling to pay her bills, Nova offers herself up as payment in the only way she knows how. What ensues is the highly sexual, quick building relationship between Nova and War, and the potential fall-out as Nova is caught in the middle between the man with whom she is falling in love, and Child Protective Services.
The relationship between War and Nova is hot and heavy from the start. War is appalled at Nova’s living condition, and offers to help any way he can but our hero keeps secret the fact that he is a single father, and has issues of trust with any woman as it concerns his life and that of his son’s. Nova has battled her own demons but none more so than her health, and her current struggle to make ends meet. A relationship with War proves to be a battle between head and heart when Nova discovers some information regarding the potential future for the Savage Kings MC. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense including scenes of spanking and discipline that may not be suitable for all readers.
The colorful secondary and supporting characters include Club president Torin Fury; MC prospect Maddox; War’s five year old son Warren ‘Ren’ Jr, War’s sister Audrey O’Neil, and his ex-wife Marcie. Maddox and Audrey’s story is next in Maddox.
WAR is a story of family and blood; forgiveness and trust. Our hero will do anything to protect the son that calls to his heart, doing whatever he can to prove he is a reliable and loving parent. The premise is emotional, heart breaking and real; the romance is erotic, raw and intense; the characters are charismatic and abrasive. WAR is a tense, and provocative addition to the Savage Kings MC.
