ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date March 28, 2023

Pulled together by long-buried secrets…

Ava Steel isn’t the typical member of her famous family. She colors her hair pink, practices the tarot, and runs her bakery in town without any help from her family’s financial fortune. She’s content in her life, and she knows who she is…until she receives a cryptic text from a mysterious stranger.

Bar-owner Brendan Murphy inadvertently became entwined with the Steel family when he dug up timeworn documents under his floorboards. When he and Ava—who, despite their age difference, he’s been crushing on for a while—receive identical enigmatic messages, they’re thrown together for more than just fun between the sheets.

Ava revels in her new and unexpected relationship with Brendan, but deep down, she fears her family is keeping secrets—secrets that could make her question everything she thought she knew about them…and herself.

REVIEW:I think this is my favorite one yet! Chance is the twenty-fifth installment in the Steel brothers saga. It is recommended to read the series in order, too much is intertwined for a reader to go in blind. Chance is the story of the Steel Families pink sheep if you will; Ava.

Ava is her own person and fiercely independent. She is one that prefers her bakery and being on her own more than anything else. That’s not saying she doesn’t love her family, she does, but she knows she is a bit more….unique than them. One day she receives a cryptic message, but what is it about, and who is it from? She doesn’t seek to unearth the many family secrets, she just goes about her life, so who is sending her messages?

Brendan Murphy, bar owner extraordinaire, got roped up in the Steel family drama when evidence was found in his building. A normally reserved man finds himself thrown into the chaos that is the Steel family, but he doesn’t mind much as he starts to develop a crush on Ava, even though they have an age difference. The pair are inexplicably drawn together, one night, Brendan finally gives in and asks Ava out, when she agrees they are both over the moon. However, when Brendan  receives a cryptic message, he and Ava both are tossed together in more than just romance, but a dangerous plot of secrets and revenge.

Like the majority of the Steel Family books, Chance will keep you guessing until the very end, HH is well known for her riveting storylines, spicy scenes and fantastic characters. Brendan takes a little bit too warm up to, and Ava is determined to live her best life no matter what comes her way. As the two join forces to uncover the clues of the messages, more than secrets are exposed. Chance is a fast paced, thrilling, quirky romance that fans of HH are going to love!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 28, 2022

She’s on the rebound, and he’s on the prowl.

Aurora “Rory” Pike gave up her dream of becoming an opera superstar long ago. Now she’s content to teach music to the children of Snow Creek while helping her family recover from the wildfire that devastated them. After a messy breakup and a ghost from the past resurfacing, she’s examining her priorities…and they don’t include a passionate kiss from womanizer Brock Steel.

Brock Steel just watched his skirt-chasing mentor—his cousin Donny—give up his playboy ways and fall hard for Callie Pike, sister of Rory Pike, the most beautiful woman in Snow Creek. Rory just ended a relationship, and Brock makes sure he’s there to pick up the pieces. Physically, that is. Emotionally? Brock doesn’t do emotion.

Chemistry between Brock and Rory proves to be hotter than either of them imagined, and it provides a welcome respite, especially for Brock, who’s dealing with a conundrum. As bits and pieces of seemingly unrelated evidence emerge, he must come to terms with the fact that his renowned family may not be the paragon he thought they were.

REVIEW:No one does a series quite like Ms.Helen. Just when I thought I had the Steel boys figured out, they go and surprise me all over again. Smolder is the 22nd, yes that’s right, the 22nd book in the Steel Brothers Saga, and this one has all the ANGST. As this book is so far into the series, I do recommend reading them in order, or at least the last few. There are enough details given in Smolder to not leave a newbie reader lost, but the series is amazing and you get more out of the book with previous reads.

Rory is on the rebound after ending a not so great relationship. When this happens, reality strikes, and Rory starts to put her life into perspective. She had to give up her dream of becoming an opera singer, but she won’t give up on the next thing she wants. And that’s a baby. Maybe being known as the most beautiful woman in Snow Creek won’t be a hassle anymore, and finding the right baby daddy won’t be as hard as finding someone to spend her life with.

Just as things start to go right for Rory, the Pike’s sisters’ past comes barreling through the lives they have built. Can Callie and Rory figure it out? Will the secrets overcome them?

Right?

Brock Steel has watched family member after family member fall to relationships and marriage. Known for his womanizing single ways, it’s never bothered him, until now. As things start to uncover and the “bones” surface, the Steel trio slowly unearth long forgotten secrets. With all this going on, Brock still can’t deny the attraction he has with Rory.

All it takes is one kiss, one that they both know will never be enough. One kiss that ignites their passion, neither can deny what they want any longer, but are they ready for what’s to come. Brock might be the best looking man in Snow Creek but does that make him daddy material? Does he even want kids? What about all his secrets?

Take a deep breath and ready yourselves readers, Smolder is an all nighter read, and one that I guarantee you won’t be able to put down. It’s sexy, mysterious and oh so much angst, Rory and Brock ignite on the pages and have readers begging for more!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 24, 2022.

They’re in love…and in danger.

Donny Steel lives a charmed life. He’s a successful attorney, in love with the woman of his dreams, and a member of the Steel family. But while Snow Creek’s golden family seems perfect on the outside, how many skeletons lurk in the Steel closet? Each day, Donny finds more and more evidence of foul play while dredging up his own past—something better left forgotten.

Callie Pike never imagined Donny Steel could fall in love with her, and she desperately wants to revel in their blazing passion. If only her own past hadn’t returned to torment her. Why now? What does it all mean? Is it somehow related to the attempt on Talon Steel’s life? Or the fire that destroyed her family’s livelihood?

As scattered pieces of evidence crop up in unlikely places, Donny and Callie work to find the common thread to pull everything together. But someone clearly wants to destroy them, and laws, ethics, and locked doors don’t seem to be standing in the way.

••••••

REVIEW: I don’t think I have ever been so invested in a series before. The Steel Brothers Saga spans years of publications and generations in the series itself. Blaze is book twenty one in that series, and boy is it a winner.

Donny Steel is a man with a past, but one he tries to not let taint his future. He is more lighthearted and easy going than most of the guys I’ve read in the Steel series, and that was a welcome reward. There is so much to this book, and even more to the series, Donny, tries as he might, can’t get the ring out of his head. There is something else going on, and until he figures it out, moving on is going to have to wait. Callie has her own problems, her own past to deal with, but Donny is important to her enough to try again. Now with a new threat to her and her sister Callie is even more determined to solve the mystery and bring herself some happiness with Donny.

I can’t even describe how interesting and exciting this series is. Every time I finish one book, I look forward to the next one even more. The plot is so amazing, the characters are so intriguing, and the spicy bits will definitely keep a reader awake at night. LOL. The Steel family is all drama, all the time, but the people are just crazy enough to make me come back for more. There is always another clue, another mystery to solve, it’s addicting to read. Way to go HH for another great release!

••••••

REVIEW:Take a deep breath before you plunge into this masterpiece because once you start, you will not be able to stop! Freed is book 18 in the Steel Brothers Saga by Helen Hardt. As always with any series, reading it in order is recommended, with Freed I do think the author gives enough back story that you won’t be lost if you read it as a standalone, but that being said, you’ll want to go back and read it in order.

The entirety of The Steel Sage is fantastic, and that continues with Dale and Ashley’s adventure into the unknown. Dale has demons, ones that he struggles with from his past, Ashley has her own battle scars from her childhood, but doesn’t let it control her life now. Two people that you wouldn’t think would need each other end of being their own saving Grace.

Without spoiling all the goodness to come from this read, be prepared to want to scream every five seconds as well. The book is so well written, the emotion, the feeling, the pain and twists of the plot will suck any reader under. For parts of Freed, Dale was dangling off a cliff, and even with the shoddy things he said and did to Ashley, she was the only one to talk him down from that edge. There were times, even as I read it, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen next!

Five star review from me, Freed is a tantalizing read that is sure to keep its readers on their toes, and better yet, coming back for more.

REVIEW:The Steel Family Saga rides again. Helen Hardt has given us yet another amazing story in the Steel family series, one that is jaw dropping and encompassing. Steel Brothers Saga, book 17 has arrived and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into!

What an emotional ride! Ashley White is in love with Dale Steel. Fact. Nothing will change it, he has become part of her soul. Dale, the wonderfully stupid man thinks he is too broken and too damaged to have Ashley in his life. He believes he isn’t worth loving, so like a big stupid man, he pushes Ashley away. Dale is tortured and damaged, the pain he feels from his past is holding him back from a future he desperately wants.

I can’t say it enough, Helen Hardt’s ability to write such strong emotions from her characters is so rare and rich that there will never be a time I wouldn’t read her books. Throughout Dale’s struggles with his past, the unsure future with Ashley and then the cliffhanger at the end. HH writes it in a way that you “the reader” feel as if you are standing right there with them, experiencing it all.

Way to go! Five stars read, and what a journey, once I finish one book, I always can’t wait to get my hands on the next one.

Awakened (Steel Brothers Saga 16) by Helen Hardt-Review tour

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N / KOBO / Chapters Indigo / Google Play

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 29 2020

His voice enthrals her. Her vibrancy awakens him.

Ashley White can’t wait to begin her internship at Steel Vineyards. As an oenology doctoral candidate, she knows all the theory but lacks practice. Working under renowned winemaker Ryan Steel—and his equally talented nephew, Dale—is an opportunity she can’t refuse.

Dale Steel is a loner. Despite his huge family full of uncles, aunts, and cousins, he’s more at home in his vineyards, where he finds something that comes close to the tranquility he craves. He’ll never find true peace, and he’s accepted his fate…until his new intern shows up and turns the only world he knows upside down.

Ashley awakens emotions in Dale that he never dreamed possible, and though he resents her intrusion into his life, he can’t deny the sparks that blaze between them. Still, he must remain distant. To succumb to his growing feelings would provoke something else entirely—the darkness he keeps hidden even from himself.

•••••••••

REVIEW: Just when you think the Steel family has finished their story…another makes it way into the mind of Helen Hardt. Awakened is the start of the Steel children all over again; this one beginning with Talon and Jade’s children.

Dale Steel loves his vines and the connection he feels with them, working in the vineyard with Ryan is what keeps his demons at bay. Through therapy he has learned to cope, but still refuses to talk about the past and the trauma he experienced. He’s content in life, all he needs is the ranch and the vines.

Or so he thought.

Ashley White loves all things wine and is planning on making it her career. When she lands the internship at Steel Vineyards, she is so excited and happy, while she has the mental knowledge, she doesn’t have any experiences in the making of it. It’s the chance of a lifetime, but she wasn’t expecting Dale.

As always HH hooks us with her characters and storyline. Ashley jolts Dale out of his content little life and soon he starts to crave her just as much as she does to him. Feelings rise, drama ensues, the plot thickens. I very much enjoyed this new start to the Steels, as always HH leaves us with more questions than anything at the end of Awakened. All the more I want my hands on the new book. Way to go on this secret smiling story!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date March 31, 2020

Bradford Steel never believed in fate…until he met the girl of his dreams.

As sole heir to the Steel ranch and fortune, Brad knows what his future holds. He’ll marry and have children, but he’s not cut out for love. Fate has other plans, though, when he meets college freshman Daphne Wade—an innocent and beautiful young woman who loves sunrises, animals, and the color yellow.

Daphne is on her own for the first time, and she vows to make the most of every minute. Never again will she fall victim to the anxiety and depression that plagued her through high school. Instead, she’ll treasure the joy in even the most mundane and live her life to its fullest. When handsome senior Brad Steel shows an interest in her, she gathers her courage and dives in.

Their relationship moves more quickly than either of them expect, and before long, fate blooms into love. Brad is determined to eliminate all the obstacles in their way and protect Daphne. It’s a promise he’ll ultimately keep…no matter the cost.

•••••••

REVIEW:In the grand scheme of Helen Hardt’s Steel Brothers Saga, Fate is a blast from the past. This is where things begin, and where things get even more dicey then they already are.

Brad and Daphne have been seen through many of the previous books, and to finally get their story, is a rush! Through those books, I must admit, I disliked Brad. Seeing this side of him made me change my mind quickly.

The book starts off with the pair in college, meeting and falling in love. Brad is a senior, knows his life is planned out for him. Graduate, take over the family business, marry and have children. The poor bloke is knocked off his feet when he meets sweet and kind Daphne. The attraction is like nothing he has felt before, instant and fierce. Their relationship starts off as friends, but quickly changes.

I so very much enjoyed seeing how these two met, but the ending….That cliffhanger….What a killer way to go. I must now wait for the next to arrive and get my next fix. Helen has yet again outdone herself in this book. 5 out of 5 stars!!
