ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 28, 2020

Sleeping with your bandmate is wrong, right? But what if it feels really good…

I’m a keyboardist on probation with the mega huge band Brooklyn Dawn.

No fights. No drama.

No problem.

Until Cooper, our drummer, steps in when my dangerous ex approaches me for the first time in years.

Cooper defending me—protecting me like no one ever has—rattles me. Turns me on. Makes me long for something I’d vowed would never be mine.

I didn’t mean to sleep with him.

Exactly.

Now we’re lying to everyone, hiding what’s happening. Hoping my ex will just disappear again, although Cooper thinks that’s the coward’s way out.

Except I’ve been hiding my past from the band, upholding my promise of no drama. Whether or not it’s my fault.

But Cooper wants to keep me safe. Wants me to be his, in every possible way.

No matter the consequences.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 31, 2019

Run, he whispered in my ear. While you still can.

I walked into a club called Ruin and found it—and him—when he bent me over the piano he was playing.

I did as he said, but not until after he’d decimated me in the filthiest way possible.

I loved every second.

That one, and the ones that came years later. When he sang with me against his will, although the words burned and the scar tissue left him raw.

Nash has secrets, deadly ones, and he won’t let me in. He just gives me dirty little tastes of him that make me desperate for more.

To the world, I’m on top. The lead singer of a famous rock band.

With Nash, I don’t mind getting on my knees.

But someone is watching us. And our stalker isn’t content to stay on the sidelines any longer.

The curtain is about to rise. Win, lose…or die.

Author’s note: Play Dirty is a standalone enemies to lovers rock star romance. It ends in a happily ever after.

CHRISTMAS WITH A ROCK STAR is a collection of Christmas themed short stories from New York Times and USA Today bestselling rock star romance authors. Hot rock stars for Christmas. The perfect gift to crank up the heat on a cold, winter night. All new content

•••••••••••••

NOTE: My review covers PARADISE IN OBLIVION by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott

REVIEW: PARADISE IN OBLIVION by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott found in the multi-authored CHRISTMAS WITH A ROCK STAR anthology is a contemporary adult, erotic, romance short story set in the authors’ Lost in Oblivion series. PARADISE IN OBLIVION can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the Rock Revenge Trilogy as some of the events in the current time-line are a direct result from some of the events in the aforementioned trilogy. PARADISE IN OBLIVION advances both series several months.

WARNING: If you have not read either of the previous two series there may be some spoilers in my review.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Ian and Zoe-Rock Revenge Trilogy), and several third person perspectives (Simon, Margo and Nick-Lost in Oblivion) PARADISE IN OBLIVION follows three couples, Simon and Margo, Nick and Lila, Ian and Zoe as they embark on a Christmas holiday on a remote Island where Simon and Margo own vacation property. Margo, heavily pregnant with Simon’s baby worries about her impending due date, and the potential problems with the worsening weather; Nick and Lila struggle with what may never be; and Ian and Zoe have a couple of surprise announcements that may or may not be what everyone wants to hear.

PARADISE IN OBLIVION is a quick, fun and sexy read that follows in the aftermath of the events of ROCK REDEMPTION and the Rock Revenge Trilogy wherein Simon will come face to face with the brother he never knew, and the ensuing disaster that almost cost him the woman he loved. A sweet story of reconciliation, family, friendship and love PARADISE IN OBLIVION is the perfect addition to Quinn and Elliott’s world of Oblivion.

I’ll do whatever it takes. Even start all over again.

But not all the demons of the past have been laid to rest. Now my final reckoning is at hand.

And those I love most may get caught in the crossfire.

Author’s Note: Find redemption with Ian Kagan, our new rockstar anti-hero in the conclusion of our super hot, romantic suspense trilogy, Rock Revenge. The trilogy occurs in the Oblivion world though it can be read on its own. Rock Redemption is a full-length novel with a HEA.

•••••••••••

REVIEW: ROCK REDEMPTION is the third and final instalment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult, erotic romance ROCK REVENGE Trilogy focusing on up and coming rock star Ian Kagan, and artist / photographer Zoe Manning. ROCK REDEMPTION should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book two Rock Reclaimed. ROCK REDEMPTION and the Rock Revenge Trilogy are a spin-off from the authors’ LOST IN OBLIVION series, and as such several characters cross-over for cohesion and back story.

NOTE: If you have not read the previous instalments, there may be some spoilers in my review.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Zoe and Ian) and third person perspective (Margo) ROCK REDEMPTION follows in the wake of potential disaster as Margo Kagan, Simon’s wife goes missing, and the events that follow pit brother against brother as Ian must reveal the truth about his past, and the on-going battle between head and heart. As life begins to spiral out of control, Ian finds himself walking away from everything in order to protect the woman he loves, and the family he has never known. As Zoe, Simon and Margo struggle with the truth, Ian must make amends but not before forgiving himself.

Ian Kagan has always been the ‘spare to the heir’; never good enough, and definitely not his rock star brother Simon. Having learned at an early age that he would never amount to the stardom of the brother he never knew, Simon quickly fell onto hard time, and the resulting aftermath has found our hero struggling with what happened and why.

Zoe Manning is Lila Shawcross’ cousin. Lila is an executive at Ripper Records, and in this Lila struggles with Zoe’s attraction to a man who could very well destroy Simon and the band. As Zoe embarks on a journey of reflection, she must come to a decision about her future with or without the man that she loves.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters: Simon and Margo; Nick and Lila: Donovan Lewis, several members of the band Oblivion (Deacon, Gray and Jazz), and the Ian Kagan Band (Grant, Lark and Perry); music producer Rory Ferguson, country rock-star Flynn Sheppard, Ian’s manager Sabrina, and as well as the introduction of Zoe’s brothers (Beck, Justin and Hayes), parents Sarah and Christopher Manning, and Lila’s mother and Zoe’s aunt Laverne. The requisite evil has many faces. I am hoping for a story between Sabrina and Flynn.

ROCK REDEMPTION is a story of family and friendship, struggle and acceptance, lies and betrayal, falling in love and letting go of the past. The premise is startling, wondrous, emotional and revealing; the romance struggles in the face of secrets and lies; the characters are broken, colorful, sassy and wounded. ROCK REDEMPTION is an amazing conclusion to the Rock Revenge Trilogy.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 1, 2018

We had the hottest hookup ever. And now, she’s having my baby.

I’m a carefree single guy.

A successful race car driver who enjoys hitting the track—hard.

I don’t do commitments.

Hell, I rarely even do repeats.

Until I spent the night with a gorgeous, funny woman who rocked my world.

No names. No identifying details. Just lots and lots of pleasure.

Until we meet up again at my older brother’s wedding. And guess what, she’s my brand new sister-in-law, Rylee Ford.

And apparently, now she hates me.

Oh, and she’s also pregnant. Surprise, I’m the daddy.

I’m so screwed.

••••••••••

REVIEW: PIT STOP: BABY is the fourth instalment in Taryn Quinn’s (Cari Quinn / Taryn Elliott) contemporary, adult DIRTY DILFS erotic, romance series. This is retired NASCAR driver Gage Kramer, and Rylee Ford’s story line. PIT STOP: BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Gage and Rylee were first introduced in book three WHO’S THE DADDY.

Told from dual first person perspectives ( Gage and Rylee) PIT STOP: BABY follows the building relationship between twenty six year old Rylee Ford, and retired NASCAR driver Gage Kramer. Three months earlier Gage and Rylee had a one night stand before discovering that each others siblings were to be married the next day. Fast forward to present day wherein Gage returns to his home town in search of his future only to discover his one –night stand from months before. Enter Rylee Ford, struggling to find a place in the world, and the woman with whom Gage would fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Rylee and Gage, and the announcement of another Ford-Kramer baby, on the way.

After making a scene at their sibling’s wedding three months earlier, Rylee and Gage were on the outs with their respective kin. Issues of trust and a lack of communication, hurt feelings and jealousy are plenty to over come but adding a pregnancy into the emotion-fueled sibling rivalry makes for many uncomfortable moments for everyone concerned.

The relationship between Rylee and Gage is a ‘second chance’ of a sorts; a one-night stand that turns into something more including the announcement of an unplanned pregnancy. Gage is determined to win Rylee’s heart but our heroine struggles with more personal issues that Rylee fears will push Gage out of her life. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The colorful secondary and supporting character include Rylee’s sister Kelsey, and Gage’s brother Dare (Who’s The Daddy #3), real estate entrepreneur Oliver Hamilton and his wife Sage (Claim My Baby #2), as well as café owner Macy Devereaux, baker Vee, café customer Murphy ‘Moose’ Masterson; Gage’s friend Tish Burns, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Kramer. Moose and Vee’s story line is next in BABY DADDY WANTED.

The world building continues to focus on the ‘unplanned’ and ‘unexpected’ pregnancies in the tight knit group of family and friends. The conflict is limited to Rylee’s embarrassment of what was, and her ongoing personal issues at home.

PIT STOP: BABY is a story of family and friendship; second chances and falling in love. The premise is heartwarming ; the characters are sassy but tender; the romance is captivating and hot. PIT STOP: BABY is a fun, energetic and enjoyable instalment in the authors’ Dirty DILF’s romance series.
