When four thugs show up at Evergreen Gas Station with cocked shotguns and masked faces, it could have ended in the worst night of my life.
Instead, a gorgeous mystery man in leather, silver, and too many tattoos strolls into the middle of the robbery and becomes my unlikely saviour with a tarnished halo.
Only, what seemed like a random hold-up at first turns into something far more complicated and Aaron Clare isn’t the type of man to leave a woman in distress. Despite my vow not get into trouble again, I find myself following the man dubbed ‘Boner’ into a night of danger and delicious debauchery with long-reaching consequences.

REVIEW: ASKING FOR TROUBLE is the eight instalment in Giana Darling’s contemporary, adult THE FALLEN MEN dark, erotic, MC romance series. This is Aaron ‘Boner’ Clare, and twenty-five year old store clerk Faith ‘Blue’ Cavendish’s story line. ASKING FOR TROUBLE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Aaron and Blue) ASKING FOR TROUBLE follows in the aftermath of an attempted robbery and abduction of our story line heroine. Working alone at highway road stop, Faith Cavendish is about as vulnerable as she could be but she never expected to find herself facing both her past and her present when several men dared to take from our story line heroine but hr would-be rescuer would ensure Faith would be protected now and in the future but Faith’s need to run meant protecting the man with whom she would fall in love. As Faith finds herself falling for Aaron Clare, she knows it is only a matter of time before her past takes aim at the Fallen Men MC. What ensues is the building but fractured relationship between Faith and Aaron, and the fall-out as our heroine sacrifices herself to save the man that she loves.
The world building is detailed as the story unfolds revealing a looming war with the White Raiders MC, a white supremacist club that is trying to take control of the Alberta drug trade. As The Fallen Men devise a plan to take down the Raiders, Faith battles between head and heart knowing she may never be free of abuse from her past.
The relationship between Faith aka Blue and Aaron begins as a rescue but Faith knows that to get involved with The Fallen Men could mean the end of her life. As her relationship begins to grow with Aaron ‘ Boner’ Clare, someone else had previously laid claim to our story line heroine, and refuses to let go. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, engaging and sometimes questionable secondary and supporting characters. Jealousy and envy are rampant; a fight for control threatens the members of The Fallen Men MC.
ASKING FOR TROUBLE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, power and control, family and abuse, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dark, dramatic, impassioned and emotional; the romance is provocative; the characters are determined, desperate and magnetic.
