ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 16 2023
It started out like any other Tuesday.
I spent twelve hours writing algorithms for one of the largest companies in the world and then came home to work on a pet project of mine—feeding facts about the men I knew into a formula to find my perfect match before my twenties came barreling to a close.
But then a man knocked on my door and handed me some papers that turned my life upside down.
Apparently, a father I never knew existed had left me something in his will. That something turned out to be part ownership in a professional football team.
Next thing I knew, I was learning a sport I knew nothing about by spending time with the team’s quarterback who was out with an injury, a man who my formula would definitely determine was all wrong for me.
Christian Knox was too handsome and confident for his own good and could have any woman he wanted. Only lately the only woman he seemed to want was me.
But there was no way I was getting involved when I was now his boss, even if he was insanely gorgeous and had the dirtiest mouth I’d ever come across.
It would be wrong, wouldn’t it?
Probably. But you know what they say about things that are wrong…sometimes they feel so right.

REVIEW: THE GAME by Vi Keeland is a contemporary, adult stand alone erotic, romance story line focusing on quarterback for the New York Bruins Christian Knox, and new team owner Bella Keating.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Christian and Bella) THE GAME follows in the wake of the death of New York Bruins team owner John Barrett. Two years earlier, Bella Keating was informed she had inherited the New York Bruins football team from the father she never knew. Fast forward to present day wherein Bella will come face to face with her future in the guise of team quarterback Christian Knox, the man with whom Bella will fall in love. Bella Keating never knew her father, and in the wake of her mother’s death following a hit and run years before, Bella is surprised to discover the Bruins’ owner had left her the team. Falling for Christian Knox was easy, but discovering the truth about her mother’s death would push Christian out of Bella’s life. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Bella and Christian, and the potential fall-out when Bella’s issues of trust force Christian to walk from the woman he loves.
Bella Keating is a genius; a mathematician who uses numbers and algorithms to determine the who, what or why in life but Christian was never on her radar, and as the team owner Bella believed Christian was strictly off limits.Struggling with a antagonistic relationship with her half-sisters, Bella didn’t need any more aggravation or problems in her life. Christian Knox has been on the sidelines due to a knee injury, and his time off has been spent seducing our story line heroine, a seduction that will end will Christian falling in love.
The relationship between Christian and Bella is one of immediate attraction but Bella has no idea as to the identity of our story line hero. Bella has issues of trust in the wake of losing everyone she once loved, and betrayal is about to happen one more time. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and sexual.
The secondary and supporting characters include Bella’s ‘grandfather’ and Christian’s former coach Marvin Barrett; Bella’s half-sister Tiffany, as well as Christian’s brothers Jake and Tyler, and Bella’s friends Talia and her son Wyatt; Tyler, Trent and Miller.
THE GAME is a story of family and relationships, secrets and lies, betrayal and heart break, forgiveness and love. The premise is captivating and compelling; the romance is seductive and intense; the characters are determined, and dynamic.
