Life isn’t exactly normal for Eva Parker: the stronger Eva’s emotions, the faster nearby electrical devices die. Eva can’t have a cell phone, use a computer, or be in a car for more than a few minutes without killing it. Dealing with her electricity-killing curse makes living in modern-day Los Angeles complicated enough for Eva—and that was before she was blackmailed into hiding a stolen baby elephant and partnered with Hudson, a sexy electrical engineer Eva just met.
Dodging repeated attempts on her life made by ruthless corporations hunting the elephant is easier for Eva than quelling her growing affection for Hudson, and while protecting an elephant is hard, controlling her curse is a lot harder. However, Eva must do both, because if she lets her emotions free and falls in love with Hudson, neither of them will survive.
Enchanting and quirky, Tiny Glitches fuses electrifying romance and high-voltage suspense in a rollicking adventure.

REVIEW: As far as Eva is concerned, she is cursed: she can’t own a phone, a car or even a home with electronics. Her curse prevents her from being in close contact with anything electronic. Within an hour or even less, cars breaks down and phones die. Her home is fitted with gas appliances only. It’s all tied in with her emotions, strong emotions bring out the curse.
Her only joy is her job. She is a feng shui consultant, and a damned good one. Feng Shui restores her inner peace and promotes only calming emotions.
Eva gets a phone call from the art gallery, in which her aunt’s paintings were being stored and shown. The gallery was broken into, and only her aunt’s painting were stolen.
Bumping into an electrical hottie installing a new security system would have been a pleasant distraction, but Eva promised her aunt she would look into the breaking.
Eva bumps into someone from her past, but she doesn’t remember Jenny, but Jenny remembers her, in fact she drops a few hints about Eva’s past, and then blackmails Eva into taking on a package until she can collect it. The package turns out to be a baby elephant !!
And from there on mayhem, laughs and confusion reigns supreme.
There are a few moments where I laughed out loud, they were so wonderfully written, that I could clearly see it all 🙂
The romance comes in the form of Eva and the security fitter Hudson. Almost from the start, he makes it clear he likes her, but Eva has to be careful. Strong emotions cause accidents, and as she grows to like Hudson, she worries about hurting him.
Will Eva and Hudson get a happy ending ? Will Jenny claim the special baby elephant ? Will Eva’s aunt find who stole her paintings ?
Your going to have to read to find out 😉
A book I would definitely recommend.
