Review:

To Love an Elven Lord by M.A. Abraham is a sweet romance novel between an Elven male and his modern day human mate, which is the start of a new series, To Love an Elf.  We meet Eniko, as she sits outside her house with her friend, Katherine,  watching her handsome hunk of an neighbor mowing the lawn outside. Eniko and her friend, are planning the wedding of her son and her friend’s daughter, and enjoying the sight in front of them.

At the wedding, her neighbor, Raith introduces his friend, Athian, who just arrived in town.  Eniko looks at both men, who have similar looks; tall, handsome, muscular and young;  Athian smiles and immediately befriends, Eniko.  In a short time, Eniko is surprised that Athian is paying attention to her, as he is very young and she is an older woman, having just married off her son.  Athian decides to help fix up Eniko’s house, fixing up many things that need enhancements, which brings their friendship closer.

What Eniko doesn’t know is that Athian is not who she thinks he is, as he is from another realm and is an Elf.  He has come here to purposely meet Eniko, because he recognizes that she is his lifemate.  As they become closer, Eniko tries to tell him she is too old for him, and does not want to go further.  Finally, Athian shows her what she looks like in his world, as they rarely age, and she would revert to the younger version of herself.

What follows is Eniko falling for Athain, and her friend Katherine, catches them kissing, causing an all out war between former friends.  Katherine’s vindictiveness brings home the newly wed children, who to Eniko’s surprise are on their side, especially after talking to Athain. Katherine becomes the enemy, but Eniko’s life will have a wonderful dream like happy ever after.

To Love an Elven Lord was a short quick sweet read, very well written by M.A. Abraham.
