REVIEW: TRIPLETS RISE is the first instalment in KL Savage’s contemporary, adult RUTHLESS KINGS MC: La Grange, erotic, MC romance series-a spin off from the author’s numerous RUTHLESS KINGS series. As the first in the series we are introduced to triplets Eden, Eli, and Ezekiel Monroe, the adult children of the current president of the Ruthless Kings MC : LaGrange.
Told from three first person perspectives (Eden, Eli, Ezekiel) TRIPLETS RISE follows Eden, Eli, and Ezekiel Monroe as they venture forth on their own to make a name for themselves, away from their father, and the Ruthless Kings MC but a one-night stand in Miami lingers on our heroine’s mind when the triplets are called back home by their dying father. Struggling to remain focused on her father’s downward spiral, Eden places herself in the direct line of fire, by not only claiming the presidency of the Ruthless Kings MC, but takes on several male opponents in an illegal underground fighting ring where a fight to death forces our heroine to re-examine demons from the past.
TRIPLETS RISE introduces the players and members of the Ruthless Kings MC: La Grange, a struggling MC whose executive have lost control with the impending death of their president, and the questionable rise to power of their current VP.
But….reality will have to be suspended for true fans of the MC story lines, and anyone who knows anything about the world of the MC—women in the membership, other than old ladies or wh*res, are an impossibility, and in reality, an affront to the all-male world of the MC. Not only does KL Savage make our heroine the president of the all male MC, but the membership is about to include several women from other MCs, membership that readily accept the new female hierarchy.
We are introduced to the members of the Ruthless Kings MC: La Grange-Justice, Rebel, Torque, Bawler, Country as well as Eden’s one-night stand Savage, and the four new female members Julia, Tia, Rose and Torrey.
TRIPLETS RISE is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance and power. The premise is interesting but a little unbelievable; the romance is fast and furious; the characters are determined and energetic.
